Analysis of Directive Speech Acts in Mata Najwa Youtube Channel Because of Corona: Why Indonesia Is Not Like Singapore
The translation of a speech often requires for attention. That's because in speech, speakers may have another purpose. Another purpose in the speech could be get the speech partner to do something. In that case, it is referred to as a directive speech.
The purpose of this research is to describe directive speech that is found in Mata Najwa's youtube channel entitled "Gara-Gara Corona: Mengapa Indonesia Tak seperti Singapura". The data in this research is a sampling of the sources. The methods used in analysis are theoretical approaches and methodological approaches. Research shows that there are six types of speech function in Mata Najwa's youtube channel entitled "Gara-Gara Corona: Mengapa Indonesia Tak Seperti Singapura" that is directives command, ordered, demand, urging, suggest, and cue. Based on analysis, the most dominant function of directive speech is suggesting speech. The value of this research is to complement previous studies on directive speech.
Abstrak
Penerjemahan suatu tuturan sering memerlukan perhatian. Hal tersebut terjadi karena di dalam tuturan, penutur mungkin saja memiliki maksud lain. Maksud lain dalam tuturan tersebut bisa saja untuk menyuruh mitra tutur melakukan sesuatu. Dalam hal ini, disebut sebagai tindak tutur direktif.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fungsi tindak tutur direktif yang terdapat dalam saluran youtube Mata Najwa dengan judul “Gara-Gara Corona: Mengapa Indonesia Tak Seperti Singapura”. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah penggalan tuturan para narasumber dalam program tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam analisis adalah pendekatan teoretis dan pendekatan metodologis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada enam jenis fungsi tindak tutur direktif dalam saluran youtube Mata Najwa dengan judul “Gara-Gara Corona: Mengapa Indonesia Tak Seperti Singapura”, yaitu tindak tutur direktif memerintah, meminta, menyuruh, mendesak, menyarankan, dan memberi aba-aba. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, fungsi tindak tutur direktif yang paling dominan adalah tuturan direktif menyarankan. Manfaat penelitian ini adalah untuk melengkapi penelitian terdahulu mengenai tindak tutur direktif.

Analysis of Directive Speech Actions in the Liam and Laila Films and its Relevance as Teaching Material in Class XI SMA
The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) the form and function of directive speech acts contained in the Liam and Laila film conversations and (2) the relevance of directive speech acts in Liam and Laila films as teaching material in class XI of high school. This research is a qualitative descriptive type, the object of research is speech in conversation in the film Liam and Laila which is focused on directive speech act analysis. The data in this study are in the form of utterances which are thought to include forms of directive speech acts taken from conversations in the film Liam and Laila. The data collection techniques used are competent, free listening and note taking techniques, while the data analysis technique uses the matching method. The results showed: (1) the form and function of speech acts include: requests (asking, asking, pressing, and inviting), questions (asking and interrogating), commands (willing, asking, demanding, and requiring), prohibitions (prohibiting and limiting) ), granting permission (approving, allowing and forgiving), advice (advising and warning). (2) The directive speech acts in the Liam and Laila films can be used as teaching materials for class XI high school students in KD 3.19 Identifying the contents and language of the drama that is read or watched.
Abstrak
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) bentuk dan fungsi tindak tutur direktif yang terdapat pada percakapan film Liam dan Laila dan (2) relevansi tindak tutur direktif dalam film Liam dan Laila sebagai bahan ajar di kelas XI SMA. Penelitian ini berjenis deskriptif kualitatif, objek penelitian berupa tuturan-tuturan dalam percakapan pada film Liam dan Laila yang difokuskan pada analisis tindak tutur direktif. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa tuturan yang diduga termasuk bentuk tindak tutur direktif yang diambil dari percakapan pada film Liam dan Laila. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik simak bebas libat cakap dan teknik catat, sedangkan teknik analisis datanya menggunakan metode padan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) bentuk dan fungsi tindak tutur meliputi: permintaan (meminta, memohon, menekan, dan mengajak), pertanyaan (bertanya dan menginterogasi), perintah (menghendaki, menyuruh, menuntut, dan mensyaratkan), larangan (melarang dan membatasi), pemberia izin (menyetujui, membolehkan, dan memaafkan), nasihat (menasihati dan memperingatkan). (2) Tindak tutur direktif dalam film Liam dan Laila dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar siswa kelas XI SMA pada KD 3.19 Mengidentifikasi isi dan kebahasaan drama yang dibaca atau ditonton.

Utilization of Online Media as A Learning Media Bahasa Indonesia
This paper is a thought about the use of online media as a means of learning Indonesian. The method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques with documentation and listening techniques. The analysis shows that online media, whether in the form of channels, online applications, and social media, can be effective learning media in addition to printed literature. Online media, as a learning tool, can also be an easier medium for language recognition and marketing in the community so that language knowledge is not only shared by language activists, but also the wider Indonesian community as its native speakers.

Abstrak
Tulisan ini merupakan buah pikiran mengenai pemanfaatan media daring sebagai sarana pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data dengan teknik dokumentasi dan teknik simak. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa media daring, baik yang berupa kanal, aplikasi daring, dan media sosial, dapat menjadi media belajar yang efektif di samping literatur cetak. Media daring, sebagai sarana belajar, dapat pula menjadi media pengenalan dan pemasaran bahasa pada masyarakat yang lebih mudah sehingga pengetahuan bahasa tidak hanya dimiliki oleh kalangan pegiat bahasa, tetapi juga masyarakat Indonesia secara luas sebagai penutur aslinya.

How The Forms of Fatal Linguistic Errors in A Job Application Letter?
Job application letters are included in the class of official letters so that there are certain aspects that must be considered in their administration. One of these aspects is the language aspect. This study aims to describe the forms of language, such as: spelling, diction, and sentences used in job application letters at the Special Job Exchange for the Presidential Vocational School of Cirebon City and Indomaret, Kejuden Village, Cirebon Regency. This research is a qualitative research. Techniques and data instruments used in this study were documentation techniques and data cards. In addition, the observation technique with the advanced note-taking technique was used to study the data in this study. The data analysis technique used the miles model and Huberman. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that there are 223 language errors used in job application letters, with details: 161 spelling errors, 19 diction errors, and 43 errors
The Dynamics of the Codification of Indonesian Post-Publication Republic of Indonesia Government Regulation Number 57 Year 2014
The issuance of Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia (PP) Number 57 of 2014 concerning Development, Development and Protection of Language and Literature, as well as Improvement of the Function of Indonesian Language has made the dynamics of the Indonesian codification even more current. Before the regulation was published, the Indonesian language codification conducted by the government was limited to publishing the Big Indonesian Dictionary IV (KBBI) IV, General Guidelines for the Formation of Terms (PUPI), and General Guidelines for Improved Indonesian Spelling (PUEYD). The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The data collection methods and techniques used include the listening method, with the basic tapping techniques and the advanced, competent free listening (SBLC) techniques. Meanwhile, the data analysis methods and techniques used include the orthographic equivalent method, with the basic technique of determining the deciding element (PUP) and the advanced comparative relationship technique equalizing the subject matter (HBSP). The results showed that the codification of Indonesian language after the issuance of PP Number 57 Year 2014 included updating the KBBI, PUPI Workshops, and publishing a number of bilingual dictionaries (Indonesian-regional languages)
Expressive Action on Meme in Instagram Towards The Election of President and Vice President 2019
This study aims to classify expressive speech acts through writing and images in memes on Instagram towards PILPRES 2019, as well as analyzing the form of expressive speech acts in the writing and images of memes on Instagram towards PILPRES 2019. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive method. The data in this study are in the form of writing in memes on Instagram. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out using literature study techniques, note taking techniques, and documentation techniques. The results showed expressive speech found in memes on Instagram towards PILPRES (Presidential Election) in 2019, the results of the research found the forms of Expressive Speech Actions (Giving Love), Expressive Speech Actions (Insulting), Expressive Speech Actions (Praising), Expressive Speech Actions (Blaming) and Expressive Actions (Mocking). In addition, language has the following functions, expressive functions, directive functions, aesthetic functions, physical functions, informational functions. This function is used to express language into memes
Imperative Order on The Micro Teaching Class
This study aims to describe imperative speech in the micro teaching subject. The type of research used is descriptive with a qualitative research form. The study population was 8 semester students of the sixth semester. The data collection technique uses note taking and documentary techniques in the form of video recordings. The data collection tool is in the form of the researcher himself as a key instrument assisted by writing instruments. The data analysis technique used is the interactive analysis technique with the stages of collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and making conclusions. The research result obtained is that the use of imperative speech in the micro teaching subject has sixteen imperative pragmatic forms
Teacher Strategies in Improving Literacy Comprehension Skills in Grade IV Students in Primary Schools
This study aims to describe the strategies implemented by teachers in improving literacy comprehension in grade IV F students of SD Negeri 47 / IV Jambi City. This research is a qualitative research. The subjects in this study were the fourth grade F. homeroom teacher. The data in this study were obtained through observations during the learning process, the interview with the homeroom teacher IV F, as well as documentation of learning activities, lesson plans, and reading texts in student books. After the data is collected, the data is checked using triangulation techniques and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman models with the stages of reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions / verification. The results of this study indicate that the strategies implemented by teachers in improving literacy comprehension in grade IV F students of SD Negeri 47 / IV Jambi City, are ReQAR strategies, with the steps used by teachers in learning as follows: 1) teachers begin by conditioning students first before learning begins; 2) the teacher asks students to silently read the reading text; 3) the teacher asks questions to students; 4) the teacher asks students to ask questions; 5) teachers and students do question and answer about the reading text.
Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi yang diimplementasikan guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman literal pada peserta didik kelas IV F SD Negeri 47/IV Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru wali kelas IV F. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui hasil observasi selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung, wawancara terhadap guru wali kelas IV F, serta dokumentasi kegiatan pembelajaran, RPP, dan teks bacaan pada buku siswa. Setelah data terkumpul, data dicek menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman dengan tahapan mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan mengambil kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang diimplementasikan guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman literal pada peserta didik kelas IV F SD Negeri 47/IV Kota Jambi, adalah strategi ReQAR, dengan dengan langkah yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran sebagai berikut: 1) guru mengawali dengan mengkondisikan peserta didik terlebih dahulu sebelum pembelajaran dimulai; 2) guru meminta peserta didik untuk membaca dalam hati teks bacaan tersebut; 3) guru mengajukan pertanyaan kepada peserta didik; 4) guru meminta peserta didik bertanya; 5) guru dan peserta didik melakukan tanya jawab mengenai teks bacaan.

The Struggle of Woman in Novel Merry Riana: Mimpi Sejuta Dolar by Alberthiene Endah: Existensialist Feminism Studies
Literary work always presents variety of problem from the characters as roles in life that create the movement of a story, either male or female. This study focuses on the role of women who struggling to their lives so the readers can get different meanings and perspectives from female characters who are not victims of discrimination but as motivators to create their existence. The object of this research is a novel entitled Merry Riana: A Million Dollar Dream by Alberthiene Endah. This research employs qualitative method namely content analysis. The procedure in this research are intensive reading, identification, analysis, presentation, and conclusion. The focus of research on existentialist feminism are (1) women can work; (2) women can become intellectuals; (3) women can achieve socialist transformation; and (4) women can reject their motherhood nature. The result of this research is that the figure of a woman has the right to do or fight for something that is equal to men. The impact of the realization of ideals is to have a better life and give positive behavior.
