    Poetry Writing Ability As A Critical Thinking Representation Towards Social Reality of 9-A Students in SMPN 1 Kedungpring

      The research entitled “Poetry Writing Ability As A Critical Thinking Representation Towards Social Reality of 9-A Students In SMPN 1 Kedungpring” aims to describe the ability to write poetry in terms of the structure of poetry, interpretation of meaning, and the form of social reality that is displayed based on the level of complexity of meaning.. This research is a qualitative type with a descriptive method. Data collection was obtained from the students’ poetry anthology with a total 32 poems. Based on the results of the analysis of the ability to write poetry as a representation of critical thinking on social reality, there are 6 poems with low complexity of meaning, 15 poems of medium complexity of meaning, and 11 poems of high level of complexity of meaning.   Keywords: representation, writing poetry ability, social reality, critical thinking     Abstrak   Penelitian yang berjudul “Kemampuan Menulis Puisi Sebagai Representasi Berpikir Kritis terhadap Realitas Sosial Siswa Kelas 9-A SMPN 1 Kedungpring” bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis puisi ditinjau dari struktur pembangun puisi, interpretasi makna, dan bentuk realitas sosial yang ditampilkan berdasarkan tingkat kompleksitas makna. Penelitian ini adalah jenis kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari antologi puisi siswa dengan jumlah 32 puisi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari kemampuan menulis puisi sebagai representasi berpikir kritis terhadap realitas sosial, terdapat 6 puisi dengan kompleksitas makna rendah, 15 puisi tingkat kompleksitas makna sedang, dan 11 puisi pada tingkat kompleksitas makna tinggi.   Kata kunci: representasi, kemampuan menulis puisi, realitas sosial, berpikir kriti

    Communication Patterns of 7th Grade Students of Sabilal Muhtadin Islamic Junior High School in Online Learning Activity

    This study aims to describe the communication patterns of 7th grade students at SMP Islam Sabilal Muhtadin Banjarmasin in online learning activities. The method that used in this research is qualitative descriptive method which focus on language behavior in students' social relationships. The data were obtained by transcribing the online learning activities of students of SMP Islam Sabilal Muhtadin Banjarmasin on Google Classroom. From the 12 existing classes, one class was taken as a sample with a total of 25 students. Data analysis was carried out by classifying students' communication patterns based on two categories, which are (1) the topics discussed and (2) the backgrounds of speakers and speech partners. The results show that the ethnography/communication patterns of students when in online learning activities can be identified from (1) the topics discussed and (2) the background of speakers and speech partners. Based on the topic, the communication talks about learning materials, assignments, tests/examinations, and student attendance in Google Classroom. Meanwhile, in the communication which based on the background of speakers and speech partners, conversations occur between teachers and students and between students as well. From this background, the closeness between the speaker and the speech partner in a short message shows that they understand the meaning of the message conveyed. Even though sentences are written using abbreviations and tend to be concise sentences, communication is still well established. This is shown by the coherence of each message response.   Keywords: communication pattern, student, online learning     Abstrak   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pola komunikasi siswa kelas 7 di SMP Islam Sabilal Muhtadin Banjarmasin dalam kegiatan pembelajaran daring. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif yang memfokuskan riset pada perilaku berbahasa dalam hubungan sosial siswa. Data diperoleh dengan mentranskripsi kegiatan pembelajaran daring siswa SMP Islam Sabilal Muhtadin Banjarmasin menggunakan Google Classroom. Dari 12 kelas yang ada, diambil satu kelas sebagai sampel, dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 25 orang. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengklasifikasikan pola komunikasi siswa berdasarkan topik yang dibahas dan latar belakang penutur serta mitra tutur. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian ini adalah etnografi/pola komunikasi siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran daring dapat diidentifikasi dari topik yang dibicarakan, latar belakang penutur, dan mitra tutur. Berdasarkan topiknya, komunikasi yang berlangsung membicarakan tentang materi pembelajaran, tugas, ulangan/ujian, dan presensi/daftar hadir siswa di Google Classroom. Sedangkan berdasarkan latar belakang penutur dan mitratutur, percakapan yang terjadi antara guru dengan siswa, serta antarsiswa. Dari latar belakang tersebut, kedekatan antara penutur dan mitra tutur dalam pesan singkat menunjukkan saling memahami makna pesan yang disampaikan. Meskipun kalimat yang ditulis menggunakan singkatan dan cenderung kalimatnya ringkas, komunikasi tetap terjalin dengan baik. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari koherensi setiap jawaban pesan.   Kata Kunci: pola komunikasi, siswa, pembelajaran darin

    The Negative Stereotypes in SAIA Short Story Anthology by Djenar Maesa Ayu

    Djenar Maesa Ayu's anthology of short stories SAIA tells about female characters who experience injustice caused by negative stereotypes against women in society. Here, the researcher chose three short stories entitled “Mata Naked”, “Fantasi Dunia”, and “Girl Matches”. The research method used is qualitative with analytical descriptive method and uses a feminist literary criticism approach. This study reveals the negative stereotypes contained in the three short stories which include gender prejudice and gender injustice.   Keywords: short story, negative stereotype, feminist   Abstrak   Antologi cerpen SAIA Karya Djenar Maesa Ayu menceritakan tentang tokoh perempuan yang mengalami ketidakadilan diakibatkan oleh stereotip negatif terhadap perempuan dikalangan masyarakat.     Research Based Learning Model in Syntactic Subjects

    The purpose of this study is to know the effectivenerss of research based learning when it applied to Syntax couse. Introduction data were obtained through interviews. The invention of this step is (1) learning achievement of syntac course are not yet reaching the target, it is because the learning activites are still lecturers theoretical  centered; (2) Group discussion method cannot accommodate to distributing the group tasks, so the discussion activites are centered on a small number of students. Based on these problems, the research will take on third semester students. Statistical test result show the mean pretest and post test 21.000 with a standard deviation 4.381 and sig (2-tailed) 0,000 less than 0.05. It means there are some significant differences between before and after using this research based learning. Keywords: model, research based learning, syntax     Abstrak   Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengatahui efektivitas model pembelajaran berbasis riset saat diterapkan pada mata kuliah Sintaksis. Data penelitian pendahuluan diperoleh melalui wawancara. Temuan pada tahap ini diantaranya (1) capaian pembelajaran mata kuliah sintaksis belum mencapai target karena kegiatan pembelajaran masih bersifat teoretis yang berpusat pada dosen; (2) metode diskusi kelompok yang diterapkan belum bisa mengakomodasi pembagian tugas pada anggota kelompok sehingga kegiatan diskusi berpusat pada sebagian kecil mahasiswa saja. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, diujicobakanlah model pembelajaran berbasis riset pada mahasiswa semester tiga. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan nilai mean prates dan pascates 21.000 dengan standar deviasi 4.381 dan sig (2-tailed) 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan nilai signifikan baik sebelum maupun sesudah penggunaan model pembelajaran berbasis riset. Kata kunci: model, pembelajaran, riset, sintaksi

    Improved Language Reading Ability Using Word Card Media in Low Class MI As Syauqi, Kalimantan Timur

    There are 4 language skills in Bahasa. These skills are listening skills, speaking skills, reading skills, and writing skills. Reading skills is very difficult than other language skills. It is difficult because reading skills involve many things, such as: Visual, Think, Psycholinguistic and metacognitive. In Elementary School or Madrasah Ibtidaiyah especially in the first grade, reading is more often acquired because it is how to get to know a letters and letter sound to the children. In this case, student should be try to speak the letter, syllable, word, and it will be expose into writing and oral (how to produce sound letter). Reading, in the lower class’s student is different with the upper class’s student. Lower class student usually has a short concentrate they need an equip and media, it can make the student in the lower class so they can interest in Bahasa Indonesia. Word card is an interesting learning media for student in the lower class especially for reading. By media, reading class is more attractive for the lower class’s student attention. It has the variation method learning process. Dalam bahasa yang kita tahu, ada 4 keterampilan bahasa. Keterampilan ini adalah keterampilan mendengarkan, keterampilan berbicara, keterampilan membaca, dan keterampilan menulis. Keterampilan membaca sangat sulit daripada keterampilan bahasa lainnya. Ini sulit karena keterampilan membaca melibatkan banyak hal, seperti: Visual, Think, Psycholinguistic dan Metacognitive. Di Sekolah Dasar atau  Madrasah Ibtidaiyah terutama di kelas satu, bacaan lebih sering didapat karena cara mengenal huruf dan huruf terdengar kepada anak-anak. Dalam hal ini, siswa harus mencoba untuk berbicara huruf, suku kata, kata, dan itu akan mengekspos ke dalam tulisan dan lisan (cara menghasilkan surat suara). Membaca, pada siswa kelas bawah berbeda dengan siswa kelas atas. Siswa kelas bawah biasanya memiliki konsentrasi pendek yang mereka butuhkan peralatan dan media, itu dapat membuat siswa di kelas bawah sehingga mereka dapat tertarik pada bahasa Indonesia.        Word card adalah media pembelajaran yang menarik bagi siswa di kelas bawah terutama untuk membaca. Wattpad is an app which is designed as a place to submit works of fiction from youth author both domestic and international. Through Wattpad, more ovels has been published and made into a film. This research aimed to know role of Wattpad in introducing the study of literary works which is novel. This Research use descriptive qualitative method, the result from this research is to show that wattpad user as a media of studying literature works can be said to be capable. The proof of this thing can be seen from the research result from Wattpad’s cognitive side which provides a literature works that is easy to understand and giving inspiration to readers to improve their imagination in learning about literary works

    Critical Discourse Analysis of Theo Van Leeuwen's Inclussion Theory on Anti-Crime Editorials in Daily Newspapers Pos Kota February 2020 Edition

    This research aims to describe the author's attitudes and views on the common criminality of Indonesia in recent times, which is embodied in anticriminality. The research focuses on the preaching of the crime that is found in the Postal City daily issue of February 2020 by using a study analysis of the critical discourse of Theo Van Leeuwen. The type of research used in this study is qualitative research using the methods of content analysis. The data source used in this study is criminality news found in the Postal city newspaper February 23, 2020. The research Data uses the five news stories in the City Post's daily newspaper with a theme of criminality. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that Leeuwen's inclusion strategy was found in the Post Kota newspaper's February issue of 2020 with an anti-criminality theme of seven sentencesthat is (1) assimilation, (2) determinations, (3) dissociation, (4) The identification of, (5) Individualization, (6) identifications, (7) categorisation.     Analysis of Hypnoselling Linguistic Encoding Forms in Online Promotion Copywrting Techniques

    This study is a type of qualitative research. It is called qualitative because the data collection procedure uses written words.  The researcher of this study uses words to represent, describe, and compare data. Data analysis method used is content analysis of written communication. The content analysis method is applied because the unit of analysis used is in the form of words, phrases, and sentences in the copywriting text. The findings of this study utilize particular forms of words, phrases, and clauses, such as: free, bonus, secret offers from us, want to start a business but confused where to start, are you still confused learning graphic design or engineering design on the internet, what goods can be sold with 200,000 profit, do not have products to sell, minimal capital so you cannot stock products, and do not have selling skills.   Abstrak   Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini dinamakan kualitatif karena prosedur pengambilan data menggunakan kata-kata tulisan. Peneliti dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kata-kata untuk menggambarkan data, mendeskripsikan data, dan membandingkan data. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis isi komunikasi tulis.     Social Values in a Collection of Lukisan Kaligrafi by A. Mustofa Bisri and The Lessons Aplication at High School

    This study aims to describe the social values ​​contained in A. Mustofa Bisri's Calligraphy Painting Short Story Collection and describe their application in learning in high school. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data source used in this research is the book Collection of Calligraphy Painting short stories by A. Mustofa Bisri which was published in 2009. The data was collected using documentation techniques. Data analysis was performed using an interactive analysis model. The results showed that: (1) there are several forms of social values ​​in the collection of calligraphy paintings by A. Mustofa Bisri, which are divided into three forms, including love, responsibility, and life harmony. (2) learning Calligraphy Painting short story collection has basic competence to identify the values ​​of life contained in the collection of short stories that are read.     This study aims to determine the cultural harmony in Nailiya Nikmah JKF's novel Sekaca Cempaka. The theory used in this research is literary ecology theory. The method in this research uses descriptive qualitative method with research data in the form of words, phrases, sentences, dialogue of the characters, and paragraphs in Nailiya Nikmah JKF's novel Sekaca Cempaka. The results showed that in the novel Sekaca Cempaka there is a relationship between community and nature, traditions that live in society, values ​​that are believed by community, and myths that develop in community.&nbsp
