The Development Of Javanese Mysticism In The Suti Novel By Sapardi Djoko Damono
Full text linkThe mysticism that developed in Javanese society was caused by several elements that lay behind it. The purpose of this study is to describe the element of Javanese mysticism developing. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative analysis method. The source of research data is Suti's novel by Sapardi Djoko Damono. The data in this study are excerpts of dialogue and narration in Suti's novel by Sapardi Djoko Damono. Data analysis techniques were carried out in stages according to Miles and Huberman with steps including: (1) data reduction stages; (2) data presentation stage; (3) conclusions and verification of data. The results of the study are as follows: elements of the development of Javanese mysticism in the novel Suti by Sapardi Djoko Damono found that there were four elements, namely (a) an element of rationality, namely the economic difficulties experienced by villagers to meet their daily needs; (b) the element of value is the form of respect for ancestors by still applying something that has been trusted; (c) elements of tradition in the form of beliefs of sacred tombs and taught from generation to generation from generation to generation; (d) the affective element is imitating factors and village priyayi actions when sowan to the tomb and set an example in accordance with village priyayi.

Abstrak
Mistisisme yang berkembang dalam masyarakat Jawa disebabkan oleh beberapa unsur yang melatarbelakanginya. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan unsur berkembangnya mistisisme masyarakat Jawa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian yaitu novel Suti karya Sapardi Djoko Damono. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa kutipan dialog dan narasi dalam novel Suti karya Sapardi Djoko Damono. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara bertahap menurut Miles dan Huberman dengan langkah-langkah meliputi: (1) tahap reduksi data; (2) tahap penyajian data; (3) tahap penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: unsur berkembangnya mistisisme masyarakat Jawa dalam novel Suti karya Sapardi Djoko Damono ditemukan terdapat empat unsur yaitu (a) unsur rasionalitas yakni kesulitan ekonomi yang dialami warga desa untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari ; (b) unsur nilai yakni bentuk penghormatan terhadap leluhur dengan masih menerapkan sesuatu yang telah dipercayai; (c) unsur tradisi yakni berupa kepercayaan makam keramat dan diajarkan dari generasi ke generasi secara turun-temurun; (d) unsur afektif yakni faktor meniru adab dan tindakan priayi desa ketika sowan ke makam dan melakukan teladan sesuai dengan priayi desa.

Register Mobile Ads on Olx Online Sale and Purchase Sites: Sociolinguistic Studies
Full text linkAdvertisements in online trading sites OLX is a communication process that certainly varies in shape. This study aims to (1) describe the form of registers, (3) describe the meaning of registers, and (3) describe the language functions in the registers contained in advertisements of mobile phone in online trading sites OLX. This study uses descriptive qualitative method with Sociolinguistics perspective. Data are taken from OLX advertisement by using sampling method which then captured the screen data for further categorization and analysis. The results of the study are that (1) the form of registers contained in advertisements of mobile phone on the OLX online trading site contains a single form and complex form of affixation, abreviation and repetition; (2) the meaning of register on mobile phone at OLX online trading site is in the form of lexical, grammatical meaning, and contextual meaning; and (3) language functions in OLX online buying and selling of mobile phone registers are instrumental functions, regulatory functions, representation functions, interactional functions, and personal functions.
Abstrak
Iklan dalam situs jual beli online OLX merupakan sebuah proses komunikasi yang tentu bervariasi bentuknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan bentuk register, (2) mendeskripsikan makna register, dan (3) mendeskripsikan fungsi bahasa pada register yang terdapat pada iklan ponsel dalam situs jual beli online OLX. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiolinguistik. Data diambil dari iklan OLX yang dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode sampling yang kemudian data di tangkap layar untuk selanjutnya di kategorikan dan di analisis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) bentuk register yang terdapat dalam iklan ponsel pada situs jual beli onlie OLX yaitu bentuk tunggal dan bentuk kompleks berupa afiksasi, abreviasi dan pengulangan; (2) makna register iklan ponsel pada situs jual beli online OLX berupa makna leksikal, gramatikal, dan makna konteekstual; dan fungsi bahasa pada register jual beli online OLX berupa fungsi instrumental, fungsi regulasi, fungsi representasi, fungsi interaksional, dan fungsi personal.

Riffaterre's Semiotic Study on Elegi by Joko Pinurbo
Full text linkThis study aims to describe the expression of anxiety in Elegi's poetry through heuristic and hermenic reading as well as the unsustainability of expressions in poetry, matrices, variants, and hypograms in Joko Pinurbo's five poems. This descriptive qualitative research was analyzed through Riffaterre's semiotic approach. Research data in the form of stanzas and lines in the poem Elegi by Joko Pinurbo. The source of this research is a collection of poetry books Book of Sleep Exercise X Song Moon Poetry by Jokpin Pinurbo. The results showed that (1) through reading heuristics and hermeneutics showed that there were themes taken by anxiety; (2) The unsustainability of the expression put forward by Riffaterre includes the replacement of meaning, deviation of meaning, and creation of meaning; (3) The matrix in Jokpin's "Elegi" poem is about the sad feelings of a homeless person who must be forced to be driven out of his place of residence; and (4) Hipogram poem "Elegi" is as a form of concern for the social environment one of which is experienced by some economically disadvantaged people.
 
Cross-Cultural Literacy in Social, Economy and Politic Perspective of Studies TISOL
Full text linkThis research aims to 1) describes cross-cultural literacy on the people of the world;2) describes the relationship among the socio-culture with social, economy andpolitic; 3) describe the TISOLlearning to the world community on the socio-economic and politic landscape. This research uses a review of the literature and observation on foreign learners studying in Indonesia. The results of this study indicate the existence of a positive relationship between socio-culture literacy and Indonesia with social, economic and Indonesian political to the world community. Therefore, in this research are expected the presence of law strength to keep the learners of Indonesian is not mastered all aspects of life that existed in Indonesia.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mendeskripsikan literasi lintas budaya pada masyarakat dunia; 2) mendeskripsikan hubungan antara budaya dengan sosial, ekonomi, dan politik, 3) mendeskripsikan pembelajaran BIPA pada masyarakat dunia dalam tataran sosial, ekonomi, dan politik. Penelitian ini menggunakan tinjauan pustaka dan observasi pada pembelajar asing yang belajar di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan adanya hubungan positif antara litetasi budaya dan bahasa Indonesia dengan sosial, ekonomi, dan politik Indonesia terhadap masyarakat dunia. Oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini diharapkan adanya kekuatan hukum untuk menjaga agar masyarakat yang belajar bahasa Indonesia tidak menguasai segala aspek kehidupan yang terdapat di Indonesia.

Comparative Study of Nasionalism Main Characters in The Novel Negeri van Oranje and Diary Buruh Migran
Full text linkNegeri van Oranje by Wahyuningtyas and Diary Buruh Migran by Arsya Kirana is a literature work that shows the main character’s struggle in a foreign country. Based on both novel, this research is aim for (1) describing the nationalism of the main character on novel titled Negeri Van Oranje by Wahyuningtyas and novel titled Diary Buruh Migran by Arsya Kirana, and also (2) describing the impact of the character of nationalism on other figures inside novel titled Negeri Van Oranje by Wahyuningtyas and novel titled Diary Buruh Migran by Arsya Kirana. This research using descriptive approach with qualitative type. Analysis result shows there is an existence five sub values of national characterism, pervade social care, hard work, high curiosity, care for living, and loves the motherland. One of them is care for living not founded on novel titled Diary Buruh Migran by Arsya Kirana, that’s create a primacy for novel titled Negeri van Oranje by Wahyuningtyas. Overall, character of nationalism has an impact on other characters in the story, which involve cognitive components, affective components, and conative components
The Figurative Meaning of Madurese Language: A Semantic Study of Madurese Proverbs
Full text linkThis semantic-based research study investigates the figurative language of Madura proverbs. The objectives of this study were to describe the types of figurative language contained in Madura proverbs. Describe the meaning and function of figurative language in Madura proverbs. And also describe the relationship of culture inside Madura proverbs. Research result indicates that in the style of figurative language metaphor based on Haley’s hierarchy in nine metaphors, the metaphors in Madura’s proverbs are energy, terrestrial, cosmos, object, animate, living, and human. Simile in this research includes cosmos, plants, animals, object, and terrestrial. And personifications in this research are animate personification and non-human personification.
 
Effectiveness Extending Concept Through Language Activities (ECOLA) Method in Learning Editing Student Scientific Articles
Full text linkThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of the ECOLA method on the ability to edit scientific articles of students. The method used in this research is the expriment method. This method is used to examine the possibility of a causal relationship, by exposing one or more experimental groups and one or more experimental conditions. The design used in this study is the pretest posttest control group design. This research was conducted at the Indonesian Literature Study Program, Faculty of Language and Art, Jakarta State University. In this study, the independent variable is the ECOLA learning method and the dependent variable is the ability to edit scientific articles. Based on the research results it is known that there is an effective ECOLA method used to improve the ability to edit scientific articles of students.

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas metode ECOLA terhadap kemampuan menyunting artikel ilmiah mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode exprimen. Metode ini digunakan untuk meneliti kemungkinan hubungan sebab akibat, dengan cara mengekspos satu atau lebih kelompok eksperimental dan satu atau lebih kondisi ekperimen. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pretest posttest control group design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Program Studi Sastra Indonesia, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Dalam penelitian ini, variabel bebas berupa metode pembelajaran ECOLA dan variabel terikatnya adalah kemampuan menyunting artikel ilmiah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui terdapat metode ECOLA efektif digunakanuntukl meningkatkan kemampuan menyunting artikel ilmiah mahasiswa.

At Tahlil At Taqabuli (Contrastive Analysis) Vocabulary in Indonesian and Arabic

The purpose of this study is to describe the differences between Indonesian vocabulary and Arabic based on time, number, persona and sentence structure. The method in this study is synchronous plosive. The research is based on three stages, namely (1) The data provision phase, (2) The data analysis stage, and (3) the presentation stage of the data analysis results. This research Data is a vocabulary that shows the meaning of time, number, persona, and sentence structure in Bahasa Indonesia and Arabic. The results of the study are the difference forms between Indonesian vocabulary and Arabic based on times, numbers, and persona. At the level of time, there is a difference in the past, nowadays, and times will come. At the level of the number there are differences in the number of singularist and pluralist numbers. Then, at the persona, there is a difference of first-person persona, a second-person persona, and a third-person persona. In the sentence structure there are differences that generally located in the subject/Fa'il. The subject is ahead in the sentence structure in B1, but the subject or Fa'il in B2 is located in the second order (in the past) and in the first order (in the medium).

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsi perbedaan bentuk kosakata bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Arab berdasarkan kala, jumlah, persona dan struktur kalimat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sinkronis kontrastif. Kemudian, penelitian ini didasarkan pada tiga tahap, yaitu (1) tahap penyediaan data, (2) tahap analisis data, dan (3) tahap penyajian hasil analisis data. Data penelitian ini adalah kosakata yang menunjukkan makna kala, jumlah, persona dan struktur kalimat dalam bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Arab. Hasil penelitian berupa perbedaan bentuk kosakata bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Arab berdasarkan kala, jumlah, dan persona. Pada tataran kala terdapat perbedaan kala lampau, kala sekarang, dan kala akan datang. Pada tataran jumlah terdapat perbedaan jumlah singularis dan jumlah pluralis. Kemudian, pada tataran persona terdapat perbedaan persona orang pertama, persona orang kedua, dan persona orang ketiga. Dalam struktur kalimat terdapat perbedaan yang pada umumnya terletak pada subyek/fa’il. Subyek berada di depan dalam struktur kalimat dalam B1, namun subyek atau fa’il dalam B2 terletak di susunan kedua (dalam kala lampau) dan pada susunan yang pertama (dalam kala sedang).

Portrait of Indonesian Workers Life in Saudi Arabia in the Novel Kedai 1001 Mimpi by Valiant Budi
Full text linkA grim portrait of life is often shown by migrant workers who work in Saudi Arabia through novel Kedai 1001 Mimpi by Valiant Budi, researcher tries to peel the grim portrait of migrant workers in Saudi Arabia. This research, using qualitative descriptive method and literature sociology approach, seeks to explore the portrait of humanity accepted by Indonesian labor migrants working in Saudi Arabia. The results of this study show a portrait of humanity experienced by female and male migrant workers. The portrait of life that happens to women in the novel Kedai 1001 Mimpi by Valian Budi is sexual harassment, physical violence, accusation, lack of protection. The portrait of humanity portrayed in male migrant workers is harassment, dissension, defamation, and unclear employment contracts. This research has significance in the humanitarian and social fields that there are many grim portraits of living witnesses who have worked as migrant workers in Saudi Arabia so that the government needs to find the right solution so that the forms of injustice received by migrant workers in Saudi Arabia do not recur
Synthactic Study of Verba Phrases in The Novel Princess Izatunnuha by Salma Izatunnuha
No full textThe research "Analysis of Verbal Phrases in Princess Sayaka's novel by Salma Izatunnuha in terms of Syntactic Studies" is motivated because today many novels are written not only from adults, even children and adolescents have dared to express their ideas and creativity in a work, especially works contained in the KKPK (Small-Owned Work) published by DAR! Mizan Where KKPK is a place to put the works of the nation's children to be published in writing, both in the form of novels or short stories. Because the novels or other works contained in the KKPK (Small-Owned Works), are specialized containers for children and adolescents aged 7-12 years, the sentences used pay attention to the sentence patterns that can be understood by their circles. This study aims to analyze the verb phrases found in the 12-year-old Prinsess Sayaka Novel by Salma Izatunnuha. This research belongs to a descriptive qualitative research. Where the data used in this study in the form of a set of words that form a verb phrase in Novel Princess Sayaka. The process of collecting data is by reading, marking and taking notes. The results of this study are that there are several verb phrases in the novel Princess Sayaka, the form of the phrase used is also a word that is often found in everyday life. Based on the results of research conducted along with the discussion, the conclusion is the verb phrase is a phrase in which the central element is a verb or verb. Verbal phrases have 3 types, namely: modification verb phrases, coordinative verb phrases, and apositive verb phrases. Of these three types of verb phrases, in Princess Sayaka's novel there are only modificative and coordinative verb phrases.
