The research was conducted at MAN 1 Takengon with the two groups pre-test and post-test design to determine the differences in mathematical literacy skills of one experimental group and then compare the results with one control group that was not subjected to treatment. The test consists of 6 problems and designed by based on the domain of PISA 2015 questions on every level of mathematical proficiency skills. The research finds that (1) culturally responsive mathematic teaching gives positive effect to students’ mathematical literacy; (2) the level of mathematical literacy of MAN 1 Takengon students lies from level 1 to level 5. There was no student who able to achieve 6thlevel of mathematical literacy; and (3) After culturally responsive mathematics teaching was implemented, from 24 students, there were 4 students at 1st level, 7 students at 2nd level, 10 students at 3rd level, and 2 students at 4th level, and 1 student at 5th level of mathematical literacy
The Changing of Islamic education curriculum Paradigm in Public Universities
Since the reformation era, the curriculum of Islamic Education in public universities has gone through such three modifications as Islamic education curriculum of 2000, 2002, and 2013. The information of this study was gathered by means of questionnaire which consists of 5 questions about the use of self-assessment. In this qualitative study, the data had been analyzed descriptively. There have been 30 vocational high school students who stand in Multimedia Major as the participant of this study. The results of this study indicated that most of the students thought that self-assessment very helpful for them because it allowed them to know their functionality and develop it to achieve the course goal specifically the speaking course objective. However, some students though that self-assessment was considerably useful since the teacher not often use this assignment and the students not take pleasure in whereas attempting to assess themselves. Self-assessment is very useful in exploring and assessing students speaking skill

This article was written aiming to look at the application of the model Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) in enhancing reasoning ability and the Advanced Mathematical Thinking (AMT) of students. This research is an experimental study with a quantitative approach and Randomized Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design research design. The sample in this study were students of class XI.1 who became an experimental class by giving treatment in the form of learning model  Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) and class XI.2 students as a control class by giving treatment using conventional learning. The instruments in this study were tests in the form of pretest and posttest which were used to see the improvement of reasoning ability and the Advanced Mathematical Thinking (AMT) of students. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the model Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) can improve students' reasoning abilities and the Advanced Mathematical Thinking (AMT). For reasoning ability, the average N-gain of the experimental class is 0.76 while the N-gain for the control class is 0.13, while for Advanced Mathematical Thinking (AMT) the average N-gain of the experimental class is 0.66 while the N-gain for the control class is 0.49
The Effectiveness of Islamic Education Learning with Creative Worksheets through the Application of Quipper with Facebook Account
This study aims to determine the significance differences by those who are taught using Quipper through a facebook account in assigning creative worksheets and those who are not taught using Quipper in the field of Islamic education studies. This research method is an experiment with Quasi Nonequivalent control group design. The population was 70 people and the sample was divided into experiment class and control class with a total of 35 people each. The research instrument was the Observation Sheet, Student Learning Outcomes Test in the form of worksheets, questionnaires, study documents, and triangulation. Quantitative data analysis with descriptive and inferential non-parametric statistical techniques Mann Whitney U-Test test. Data analysis was assisted by SPSS application version 24. The results of the study were the use of Quipper School through a Facebook account in assigning creative worksheets to improve the effectiveness of Islamic education learning in SMK Negeri 1 Sengkang meeting the KKM, and there were significant differences between use and not use Quipper School through facebook account in assigning creative worksheets, and in the mann-whitney test, it is known the value of Asymp. Sig. (2- tailed) of 0,000 is smaller than probability value of 0.05 then the hypothesis H0 is rejected H1 is accepted. The next important study is the development of Quipper School media through a Facebook account on strengthening psychomotor competence in the field of Islamic education studies
