EFFICIENCY ALLOCATIVE NION FARMING IN TYE DISTRICT BANTUL
This aim of this study is to know the factors affecting onion production, the efficiency of the use of factors production on onion farming and to analyze the factors that affect onions farm incomes. The research was conducted in the district of Bantul with a sample of 30 farmers, factors affecting onion production was analyzed with multiplr linear regression analysis (method Cobb-Douglas) production function, allocative efficiency of the use of production factors by calculating an index value of allocative efficiency, the factors that influenced farm onion incomes anlayzedmultiple linear regression analysis (method Cobb-Douglas function of income). Production factors influence positive effect on onion productionin the district of Bantul are seedsm fertilizer NPK, KCl, soil and pesticides, input allocation of land, seed, fertilizer KCl.NPK fertilixer and fungicide antracol phonska have not be efficient so they need to be improved, the income of farmers affected by land area and the price of NPK phonska and insecticida
RICE HOUSEHOLD CONSUMPTION I YOGYAKARTA SPECIAL REGION
This study aims to 1) determine factors that influenced the level of household consumption of rice 2) determinwe the elasticity of demand for rice at the household level, and 3) determine differnes of household rice consumption in rural and urban areas. This study used National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS) data at household level from Central Bureau of Statistic (BPS) in 2011 for Yogyakarta Special Region. About 173 households out of 3200 households in rural and urban areas were chsen as sample in this research. The first and second objectives were analyzed by using OLS method, while the third objective was analyzed by using t-test. The result showed that households rice consumption was influenced by the prices of rice, sweet potato, instant noodles, beef, tempe, number of members, income, and location of residence. Household consumption of rice in Yogyakarta was positively influenced by the price of instant noodles and the number of household members, but it was negatively affected by the rpice of rice, beef prices, and income. There was a difference between rice consumption in urban and rural areas. Based on the concept of price elasticity, it was known that households rice consumption was inelastic, instant noodles is substitute of rice and beef was complementing rice. The average household rice consumption in rural areas was higher than that of urban households
DINAMIKA PERDAGANGAN BERAS VIETNAM
The aims of this study is to analyze the performance of export-import, competitiveness and the factors affecting export-import of Vietnam rice. Type of data used is secondary data of 1980-2009. To determine the fluctuation of export-import trade were applied trend and trade specialization ratio. To find out the analysis of competitiveness were run revealed comparative advantage (RCA) and acceleration ratio (AR). To investigate the factors affecting the export and import used error correction model (ECM). Vietnam export trend showed an increase and imports trend showed a decline and in the maturity stage. Vietnam has high competitiveness but the exports acceleration is low. Vietnam’s export affected by per capita rice availability and the exchange rate while imports of Vietnam affected by the production, world rice prices and real national income
KOORDINASI PADA PROSES PENYUSUNAN RENCANA PRIMA TANI DALAM MENDUKUNG PEMBANGUNAN DAERAH DI DESA HARGOBINANGUN, KECAMATAN PAKEM, KABUPATEN SLEMAN
A proper coordination process of an integrated development program, such as PRIMATANIN is not well understood by the development program manager. The research objectives are to assess the coordination process in formulating a PRIMATANI development plan; and to identify its influencing factors. The research was conducted in Hrgobinangun village of Sleman District. Method of this research was a qualitative method with a case study. The data collection and anlyiss was conducted using an in-depth interviews method and a documentary analysis on the coordination meeting of PRIMATANI. The result shows that the imperfect coordination process in this program was caused by asymmetric communication process whisvh dominated solely by the Department of Agriculture in determining this targeted village and its decelpment program. In order to support the integrated development program, the coordination process among the technical department shiuld be formalized since the targeted area determination. Then, it should be followed by a formal agreement among the departments on development program formulation plan and regular information supply on their corrdination meeting
PENGELOLAAN TANAMAN SAGU DI SULAWESI TENGGARA
Sago plan tree is the main of food raw in Southeast Sulawesi. The sago powder could made the fod like sinonggi and other snack. The sago palm wide areas in Southeast Sulawesi is 5.083 hectares, most growth in several district in Southast Sulawesi especially in costal region. The sago palm tree is the several utilitized plant. Most of several part of tee has the economics value. Therefore the sago palm tree nmanagemnet is still an exploitations for economic objectives not conservation yet. The sago process has done in long time ago. There are two ways to processing the sago powder, one method do by traditional and other by machine, but most people change to the machines process now. The paper described the management of sago palm management and also economic benefit of sago palm tre in Southeast Sulawesi focused on powder production in Konawe and Kendari district. The result analysis of sago powder processing indicated that farmer found revenue Rp 568.750 per tree on R/C Ratio 2,71
PRODUK DOMESTIK REGIONAL BRUTO (PDRB) HIJAU SEKTOR PERTANIAN DI KABUPATEN JAYAPURA
Gaps in the farming development have caused the damage to land because of erosion and sedimentation. Utilization of and on the river outskirts and a steep hill without conservation principle, has led to soil damage that is difficult to be restored again. The use of production facilities in the form of chemicals such as fertilizers, pest, diseases and weeds eradications, in the form of pesticides, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides are not appropriate, cause adverse side effect to the crops, farmers and environment. Similarly, use of eradications that pollute the waters around the plantation and it is harmful to humans, fish and livestock. Admission of environmental dimension, such as natural resources depletion and environmental degradation, in conventional GDP calculation requires modeling of Green GDP. In the modeling of Green GDP, natural resources depletion and degradation are subjects of numerous recounts. Time series data of 2006-2008 were used in analysis. Accroding to conventional GDP calculation from 2006-2008, there was declination of agricultural sector’s contribution in GDP . agricultural sector’s contribution in Jayapura regency based on 2006 was up to 40,16 percent, 37,97 ercent in 2007, and 35,8 percent in 2008. The degradation value of natural resources were much greater than their depletion value. However according to Green GDP calculation, agricultural sector’s contribution of 2006-2008 in Jayapura regency were in state of inclination. Based on GDP data of Jayapura regency, in 2006 the contribution inclined up to 181.791,46 milion Rupiah (45,43 percent), 153.495,13 milion Rupiah (34,98 percent) in 2007, and 176.664,89 milion Rupiah (36,96%) in 2008. Commitment to admit environmental dimensions as an important aspect in developmental planning is key to succesfull model of Green GDP and environmental plicy in general. DAS conservation, reforestation, and activism of those kind need to be promoted in order to reduce environmental degradation
DAMPAK SISTEM KEAGENAN BULOG TERHADAP DISTRIBUSI DAN HARGA GULA KRISTAL PUTIH (GKP)
This study aimed to determine the impact of Bulog agency’s system to distribution and prices of GKP (2008 and 2009); uses secondary data and interviews of Bulog marketing (agent), PTPN-PT RNI (manufacturer and distributors). Area samples are taken by purposive (Jakarta, Central Java, East Java and Lampung); analysis using tables and graphical analysis. The results showed that the system is in the marketing agency Bulog GKP cause marketing chain shorter because Bulog can distribute directly to distributors medium (D2) and small (D3) and also increased the number of D2 and D3. This agency beneficial for producers (PTPN/PT-RNI)which increase the selling price GKP greater than the increase in the retail price, so that marketing margins down. The market becomes more efficient, so the society surplus received greater. In the wider economy, the system can improve welfare agency indicated by the increase in producer surplus is greater than the decrease in consumer surplus
ANALISIS KELAYAKAN DAN KONTRIBUSI PENDAPATAN USAHATANI TERPADU RUMAH TANGGA PETANI PADA LAHAN KERING
Bengkayang district is a district in the province of West Kalimantan have enough upland for agriculture. The village of Sinar Tebudak is dry land potential for the development of food crops, vegetables, crops and livestock. To find out the feasibility of each farm and contribution to the household income required of a research. This study aims to determine the feasibility of the business of commodities grown village Sinar Tebudak and know the sources of income and multiformity contributing to the household income of farmers village Sinar Tebudak. Sinar Research conducted the survey with the method / interviews and PRA. Sampling in take with strata ownership of land. To determine the extentto which each strata in the population represented in the sample used proposional, so the methods used method stratified proportional random sampling. The number of respondents as much as 40 farmers. Collecting data is done by direct interviews with the questionnaire. Results of research show that all the farming system is feasible grown with the value RIC> 1. The agricultural sector still has a major contribution in the household contribute income farmers. Income per capita village Sinar Tebudak already above U.S. $ 1000. Non agricultural sector and other sectors in rural areas is expected to grow well. Development of agro-industries in rural areas will create the market, and production facilities for primary agricultural products
ALOKASI PENGELUARAN RUMAH TANGGA UNTUK KONSUMSI BAHAN PANGAN DI KELURAHAN KEBUMEN KABUPATEN KEBUMEN
The objectives of this paper are (1) to know how much household expenditure allocation for food consumption in Kelurahan Kebumen, (2) to know the factors affecting household expenditure allocation for food consumption in Kelurahan Kebumen. Household expenditure allocation for food consumption in kelurahan Kebumen is food expenditure percentage to total income for a month. Affecting factors were analyzed by multiple regression analysis. Dependent variable used is householod expenditure allocation for food consumption and independent variables used are the number of family members, wife’s age, education level of husband, education level ofwife, husband’s work time, wife’s work time, comparison of adult member with totally family members, and household’s income. The result show that household expenditure allocation for food consumption in Kelurahan Kebumen IS 51,33% of total income, it means that household in Kelurahan Kebumen are still poor. Affrcting factors to household expenditure allocation for food consumption in Kelurahan Kebumen are the number of family members, comparison of adult with totally familt members, and household income
DAMPAK TEKNOLOGI AGRICULTURE GROWTH PROMOTING INOCULANT (AGPI) PADA USAHATANI PADI SAWAH DI KABUPATEN SLEMAN
This research was carried out in the Margo Agung villagem Seyegan subdistrict, Sleman regency, which aims (1) to identify how farmers use AGPI technology in rice farming, (2) to know the production, sot, incomes of farmers, (3) to analyze feasibility of rice farming and social prospect that includes the performance of farmer groups in implementing AGPI technology. The basic method in this study is descriptive analytical. The population are farmers who have applied AGPI technology on rice farming in the Sleman Regency, while the respondents were 30 farmers who are members of the farmers grup of Agung Bergas and Sumber Rejeki, in Margo Agung village, Seyegan Subdistrict. The result shows that (1) implementation of AGPI technology, the role of farmer groups as medium of learning, collective decision making and production unit tend to be higher, (2) AGPI technology increase the total cost and labour but yields enhancement in rice production and income, (3) AGPI technology increase implementation is feasible, showed by the R/C>1, income > rental cost, π/C > bank interest, labor productivity > UMK, production, revenue, and the production prices > BEP
