    THE INFLUENCE OF PRICE, DIGITAL MARKETING, STORE ATMOSPHERE AND PRODUCT DIVERSITY ON PURCHASE DECISIONS

    The clothing industry at Piala Tanggul Store has developed into a necessity for the community. One of the driving factors for the growth of consumers buying clothing products at Piala Tanggul Store lies in the clothing industry through price, Digital Marketing, Store Atmosphere and Product Diversity. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of price, Digital Marketing, Store Atmosphere and Product Diversity on purchasing decisions at Piala Tanggul Store. This type of research uses a quantitative method with a sample size of 96 respondents and uses a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling technique using a data collection technique in the form of a questionnaire to respondents. The data analysis technique for this study uses instrument testing, classical assumptions, multiple linear regression, hypotheses and coefficients of determination. The results of the analysis obtained show that price, digital marketing, store atmosphere and product diversity have a positive and significant partial effect on purchasing decisions, as well as a simultaneous effect

    TRENDS OF HUMAN DEVELOPMENT INDEX (HDI) AND INFLATION ON ECONOMIC GROWTH IN BANGKA BELITUNG

    This study quantitatively analyzes the impact of the Human Development Index (HDI) and inflation on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in Bangka Belitung Islands Province from 2019 to 2021. The region’s economy relies heavily on tin mining, yet struggles with economic stability and human development, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Using secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and trend analysis, this research reveals that HDI positively influences GRDP, though its growth slowed in 2020 due to pandemic-related disruptions in education and health services. Inflation exhibits a complex relationship: low inflation in 2020, driven by reduced demand, negatively affected GRDP, while the 2021 economic recovery saw inflation rise alongside GRDP growth. The novelty of this study lies in its focus on a resource-dependent region during a global crisis, highlighting how macroeconomic and human development factors interact under external shocks. Additionally, it provides empirical evidence on the dual role of inflation in economic contraction and recovery phases. Contributions include policy recommendations for stabilizing HDI growth through education and healthcare investments, as well as inflation control measures to sustain economic recovery. The study also advocates for economic diversification and infrastructure development to reduce dependency on mining and promote inclusive, long-term growth. These findings are particularly relevant for policymakers in resource-rich regions facing similar developmental challenges

    Employee performance at PT. KAI Daop 9 Jember is still not optimal. This can be caused by several factors, one of which is recruitment, selection and job placement which have not been optimal. This research aims to analyze the influence of recruitment, selection and job placement on employee performance at PT.KAI Daop 9 Jember. This research uses quantitative methods with a survey approach. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 283 employees of PT. KAI Daop 9 Jember. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The research results show that recruitment has a significant effect on the performance of PT.KAI Daop 9 Jember employees, selection has a significant effect on the performance of PT.KAI Daop 9 Jember employees, and work placement has a significant effect on the performance of PT.KAI Daop 9 Jember employees

    THE EFFECT OF PROBLEM BASED LEARNING MODEL ON IMPROVING MATHEMATICAL CRITICAL THINKING ABILITY AND STUDENT LEARNING INDEPENDENCE IN MAN 1 MEDAN

    The objectives of this research were to determine: (1) the effect of the Problem Based Learning learning model is better than the Ordinary Learning Model on improving students' critical mathematical thinking skills; (2) the interaction between learning and students' initial mathematical abilities on improving students' critical mathematical thinking skills; (3) the effect of the Problem Based Learning learning model is better than the Ordinary Learning Model on improving students' learning independence; (4) the interaction between learning and students' initial mathematical abilities on improving students' learning independence. The population in this study consisted of all tenth-grade students at MAN 1 Medan, and the sample comprised 60 students from classes X-9 and X-6, divided into experimental and control groups. The instruments used included a mathematical critical thinking skills test and a learning independence scale. Data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA. Based on the analysis, the following results were obtained: (1) The Problem Based Learning learning model has a better effect than the ordinary learning model in improving students' critical mathematical thinking skills; (2) there is no interaction between learning and students' initial mathematical abilities on improving students' critical mathematical thinking skills; (3) The Problem Based Learning learning model has a better influence than the ordinary learning model in increasing students' learning independence; (4) there is no interaction between learning and students' initial mathematical abilities towards increasing students' learning independence. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested that learning with problem based learning be used as an alternative for teachers to increase students' critical mathematical thinking skills and learning independence

    Hubungan Antara Self-Compassion Dengan Kecemasan Pada Mahasiswa Yang Sedang Menyusun Tugas Akhir

    Tugas akhir adalah salah satu syarat yang harus dipenuhi oleh mahasiswa untuk mendapatkan gelar sarjana. Namun banyak mahasiswa mengalami ketidaksiapan menghadapi tugas akhir sehingga menimbulkan kecemasan. Salah satu komponen yang berperan dalam meningkatkan ketahanan dan kesehatan mental yaitu dengan self-compassion. Self-compassion merupakan sikap peduli terhadap diri sendiri dalam menghadapi kesulitan atau kegagalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-compassion dengan kecemasan pada siswa yang sedang menyusun tugas akhir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 181 yang terdiri dari 4 mahasiswa program studi angkatan 2021 yang sedang menyusun tugas akhir di Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Kampus Daerah Sumedang dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 125 mahasiswa dengan teknik proporsional cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen Self-Compassion Scale (SCS) untuk mengukur self-compassion dan Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) untuk mengukur kecemasan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara self-compassion dengan kecemasan (r = -0,674, p < 0,001), yang berarti semakin tinggi self-compassion , maka akan semakin rendah terjadinya kecemasan. Selain itu, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara self-compassion siswa laki-laki dan perempuan (t = 4,279, p < 0,001), dengan nilai mean 93,174 untuk siswa laki-laki dan 77,174 untuk siswa perempuan. Peningkatan self-compassion dapat membantu mengurangi kecemasan pada siswa yang sedang menyusun tugas akhir. Oleh karena itu, institusi pendidikan disarankan untuk merancang program yang mendukung pengembangan self-compassion dikalangan siswa, agar meningkatkan kesejahteraan mental selama penyusunan tugas akhir

    Kebutuhan akan sumber energi pada saat ini sangat mendesak dibutuhkan berbagai macam produk yang mendukung kinerja dari manusia saat ini semuanya menggunakan tenaga listrik Salah satunya adalah menggunakan tenaga matahari. Pemanfaatan energi matahari digunakan untuk mengkonversikan energi (sel surya) menjadi energi listrik, yang dirancang menjadi panel surya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh temperatur dan arah mata angin terhadap daya yang dihasilkan oleh PLTS Off Grid yang ada di laboratorium Teknik Mesin Universitas Mayasari Bakti. Metodologi penelitian ini adalah Eksperimental  yang diawali dengan analisis sinar matahari disekitaran laboratorium teknik mesin, kemudian menyiapkan PLTS untuk melakukan pengujian  temperatur panel surya dengan menambahkan fan cooler pada belakang panel surya dengan variasi arah mata angin Utara, Selatan, Barat, dan Timur. Hasil penelitian Kinerja PLTS Off Grid Terhadap Temperatur Panel Surya, arah timur dan barat menunjukkan kinerja yang paling konsisten dan efisien dalam berbagai kondisi suhu, dengan arah timur memberikan performa terbaik pada suhu tinggi. Kinerja PLTS Off Grid Terhadap Arah mata angin Arah barat menunjukkan kinerja terbaik, terutama pada pukul 11.00-12.00 arus yang didapat 391 ampere, sedangkan arah utara menunjukkan performa terendah secara konsisten. Arah selatan menampilkan stabilitas yang baik dalam produksi arus listrik sepanjang hari

    E-Learning as a Solution for Arabic Writing Skills: A Website-Based Approach

    This research aims to examine the implementation of website-based e-learning as a solution to improve Arabic writing skills among students. Good writing skills are very important for the development of communication and reasoning abilities, but many students experience difficulties in this area. Website-based e-learning has become an effective alternative because it can be accessed anytime and anywhere, providing flexibility for students to learn independently with guidance from the provided materials. This research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method, involving two groups of students, namely the experimental group that uses a website-based e-learning platform and the control group that uses conventional learning methods. Data collection was conducted through pre-tests and post-tests to measure the improvement in students' writing skills. The research results show that the experimental group using website-based e-learning experienced a significant improvement in writing skills compared to the control group. This indicates that website-based e-learning can be an effective solution in improving writing skills, as it provides an interactive, personalized, and easily accessible learning experience. This research suggests that website-based e-learning can be more widely implemented in the context of education, especially to address the difficulties faced by students in developing Arabic writing skills

    The Effectiveness of Using Journals to Enhance Students' Confidence in Their Psychological Ability to Master the Arabic Language

    This research is based on the importance of mastering Arabic as a key competency for students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Islamiyah Ciputat. However, in reality, many students lack confidence in their ability to learn and master the Arabic language. This issue is evident at the research site, where students tend to hesitate in demonstrating their skills in various aspects of Arabic, such as vocabulary (mufradat), syntax (tarkib), and reading comprehension (qira’ah). This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using daily journals in enhancing students  confidence in Arabic language proficiency and to determine the improvement in students' learning outcomes before and after implementing this method. The study employs a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consists of 61 ninth-grade students divided into two groups: 24 students in the experimental class, who used daily journals, and 37 students in the control class, who followed traditional methods. Both groups were assessed using pre-tests and post-tests. Data were collected through tests, observations, and interviews. The findings indicate that daily journals effectively enhance students' confidence. The experimental group's average post-test score was 80.20, compared to 59.27 in the control group. The t-test results show a significance value of 0.226 (>0.05), indicating significant improvement. The N-Gain score of 0.4 categorizes the method as moderately effective. Thus, daily journals not only boost students' confidence but also improve their Arabic proficiency. Keywords: Effectiveness, Daily Journal, Confidence, Arabic Language Proficiency. مستخلص البحثيستند هذا البحث إلى أهمية إجادة اللغة العربية كإحدى الكفاءات الأساسية التي يجب أن يمتلكها طلاب المدرسة الإسلامية المتوسطة تشيبوتات. ومع ذلك، فإن الواقع يشير إلى أن العديد من الطلاب يفتقرون إلى الثقة بأنفسهم في تعلم اللغة العربية وإتقانها. وقد لوحظ ذلك في موقع البحث، حيث يميل الطلاب إلى التردد في إظهار قدراتهم. يهدف هذا البحث إلى الكشف عن فعالية استخدام اليوميات لترقية ثقة التلاميذ بأنفسهم على إجادة اللغة العربية، بالإضافة إلى معرفة تحسين نتائج تعلمهم قبل وبعد تطبيق هذا الأسلوب. استخدم هذا البحث منهجًا كميًا بأسلوب شبه تجريبي (تصميم المجموعة الضابطة غير المتكافئة). تألفت عينة البحث من ٦١ طالبًا من الصف التاسع، تم تقسيمهم إلى مجموعتين: ٢٤ طالبًا في المجموعة التجريبية الذين استخدموا اليوميات و٣٧ طالبًا في المجموعة الضابطة الذين استخدموا الأسلوب التقليدي. تم تقييم كلتا المجموعتين باستخدام اختبار قبلي واختبار بعدي. جُمعت البيانات من خلال الاختبارات، الملاحظة، والمقابلات. أظهرت نتائج البحث أن استخدام اليوميات كان فعالًا في ترقية ثقة التلاميذ بأنفسهم. وقد أثبتت النتائج ذلك من خلال متوسط درجات الاختبار البعدي للمجموعة التجريبية الذي بلغ ٨٠.٢٠ مقارنة بالمجموعة الضابطة التي بلغ متوسطها ٥٩.٢٧. وأظهر اختبار "تي" أن قيمة الدلالة بلغت ٠.٢٢٦، وهي أكبر من ٠.٠٥، مما يعني رفض الفرضية الصفرية (Ho) وقبول الفرضية البديلة (Ha)، وبالتالي يمكن الاستنتاج أن هناك تحسنًا ملحوظًا في ثقة التلاميذ بأنفسهم بعد استخدام اليوميات. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، أظهرت نتيجة اختبار N-Gain أن فعالية الأسلوب كانت عند مستوى متوسط بقيمة بلغت ٠.٤. الكلمات المفتاحية: فعالية، اليوميات، الثقة بالنفس، إجادة اللغة العربية

    AbstractThis study examines the importance of using animation as an innovative instructional medium for teaching listening skills to Grade X students of Madrasah Aliyah Al-Syuko. The research aims to assess the effectiveness of this medium in improving listening skills and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. The research employed a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methodologies. The study involved two groups—experimental and control—comprising 35 Grade X students. Quantitative data analysis was conducted through pretest and posttest evaluations, while qualitative data analysis utilized the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model. The findings reveal that the use of animation significantly improved students’ listening skills, with the average pretest score increasing from 53.88 to 76.94 in the posttest. The N-Gain test result of 0.5291 indicates a moderate level of effectiveness. Statistical analysis further demonstrated a significant difference between the two groups (p<0.05). Meanwhile, interviews with students highlighted that animation helped capture attention, simplify concepts, and enhance interaction. However, challenges were noted, such as the limited infrastructure at the school.Keywords: listening skills, animation, instructional mediaAbstrak/ مستخلص البحثيتناول الباحث هذا البحث عن أهمية استخدام الرسوم المتحركة كوسيلة تعليمية مبتكرة لتعليم مهارة الاستماع لدى طلاب الصف العاشر بمدرسة الشكرى الثانوية الإسلامية. يهدف البحث إلى قياس مدى فعالية هذه الوسيلة في تحسين مهارة الاستماع والكشف عن العوامل الداعمة والعائقة أثناء استخدامها.  استخدم الباحث المنهج المختلط الذي يجمع بين الطريقتين الكمية والنوعية، حيث تم اختيار مجموعتين: تجريبية وضابطة في هذا البحث، وهم جميع طلاب الصف العاشر الذين يتكونون من 35 طالبا. وطريقة تحليل البيانات في البحث الكمي هي الاختبار القبلي والبعدي وللبحث النوعي هي التحليل المضموني للمقابلة والملاحظة Miles, Huberman and Saldana. أظهرت النتائج أن استخدام الرسوم المتحركة قد أدى إلى تحسين مهارات الاستماع لدى الطلاب بشكل ملحوظ، حيث ارتفع متوسط درجاتهم من 53،88 في الاختبار القبلي إلى 76،94 في الاختبار البعدي.  كما أظهر اختبار N-Gain قيمة 0،5291 مما يشير إلى فعالية متوسطة. وأثبت التحليل الإحصائي وجود فرق دال إحصائيا بين المجموعتين (p<0.05). من ناحية أخرى، أظهرت المقابلة مع الطلاب أن الرسوم المتحركة تساعد في جذب الانتباه، وتبسيط المفاهيم، وتعزيز التفاعل، لكنها تواجه تحديات كالبنية التحتية غير الكافية. توصي الدراسة بتعزيز استخدام الرسوم المتحركة في تعليم اللغة العربية وتحسين تجهيزات المدارس لدعم استخدامها.الكلمات المفتاحية : مهارة الاستماع، الرسوم المتحركة، الوسائل التعليميةCitation

    ANALYSIS OF THE LAYOUT OF THE COMPANY'S FACILITIES ON WORK PRODUCTIVITY WITH THE 5S PRINCIPLE AND THE ACTIVITY RELATIONSHIP CHART IN CV. TATA JAYA SCREEN PRINTING

    CV. Tata Jaya Sablon is a textile company that produces various types of clothing, including t-shirts, shirts, polos, jackets, and more. This company employs several workers who sew and carry out various phases of the production process every day. Based on the results of field observations, it is known that the production process has a fairly long process flow with limited production space. This study aims to provide an ideal production facility layout design in order to create an effective and efficient work environment. This study was conducted using the 5S methodology (seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu, shitsuke) to optimize space utilization and create a proposed layout based on the ARC diagram. The results of this study show that the organization's 5S implementation score reached 75%, so it was given the predicate "Quite Good". However, seiri and seiton have the lowest score, so it is necessary to procure a special area for unneeded goods and create a special area to tidy up goods needed for the production process. The ARC results show that the proposed layout has succeeded in increasing the efficiency of the moment of movement or distance of movement by 29.21%
