    Challenges in Teaching Materials for Mathematics Capita Selecta Course: Insights from Prospective Secondary School Teachers

    The lack of learning resources that facilitate students in the Secondary School Mathematics Capita Selecta course served as the background for this study. This research aimed to investigate the challenges faced by prospective mathematics teachers in the Secondary School Mathematics Capita Selecta course at Universitas Adzkia. Using a descriptive-qualitative approach, this study involved 18 students and course instructors as participants. Data were collected through surveys and structured interviews, then analyzed to identify key themes related to learning difficulties. The results showed that students experienced difficulties in understanding abstract mathematical concepts, connecting theory with practical applications, and utilizing available learning resources. This condition indicates the need to develop systematic, varied, and interactive learning materials to improve student comprehension and motivation. This study also revealed that the integration of technology in learning can help students understand complex topics and create a more engaging learning environment. Therefore, the development of well-organized and technology-integrated learning resources is crucial to improve the effectiveness of the course and help students overcome learning obstacles. Based on these findings, it was concluded that the development of innovative and technology-integrated learning resources plays an important role in improving the quality of learning in the Secondary School Mathematics Capita Selecta course. Further research is recommended to explore more advanced technological interventions and collaborative learning techniques to enhance instructional delivery and student learning outcomes

    Financial Statement Fraud Detection: Synergy Artificial Intelligence with Auditor Characteristics

    The objective of this research is to analysis the effect of auditor characteristics that represented by professional scepticism and auditor experiences toward financial statement fraud detection through artificial intelligence in data analytic.  This study builds upon previous research where respondents were auditors who had used big data analytics and incorporate artificial intelligence, specifically big data analytic as mediator between auditor characteristics and the detection of financial statement fraud. Quantitative research was used in this research by obtaining primary data through 66 respondents from auditor at several public accounting firms in the Jakarta area. Our findings reveal that auditor experience has direct influence effect on financial statement fraud detection while professional scepticism has no effect. But surprisingly, the role of artificial intelligence in data analytics is only able to mediate professional scepticism on financial statement fraud detection, while this does not apply to auditor experience. This study provides empirical evidence that the role of artificial intelligence, namely big data analytic, can act as a catalyst that transforms professional scepticism from mere doubt to evidence-based action, by enhancing the auditor’s ability to identify data patterns and anomalies, reducing cognitive bias and increasing objectivity.

    Optimasi Parameter Vacuum Assisted Resin Infusion (VARI) Produk Bilah Turbin Angin Terhadap Uji Bending

    This research aims to optimize the parameters of the Vacuum Assisted Resin Infusion (VARI) method in the production of composite specimens and wind turbine blade products to enhance mechanical strength, particularly bending strength. The research was conducted with variations in parameters including fiber volume (10% and 20%), vacuum pressure (0.6 bar and 0.8 bar), and catalyst (1% and 2%). The variations were tested using bending tests and loading tests, and then the Taguchi method was used to identify the parameter combinations that produced the best performance. The bending test results show that a 20% fiber volume variation yields the highest average bending test result of 198.20 MPa, compared to a 10% fiber volume which only reaches 112.20 MPa. A vacuum pressure of 0.6 bar yields a bending test result of 198.20 MPa, which is better compared to a vacuum pressure of 0.8 bar with an average bending test result of 112.20 MPa. The 1% catalyst variation produced the highest bending test value of 198.20 Mpa, higher than the 2% catalyst variation, which yielded a bending test value of 125.13 Mpa. The conclusion of this study is that the optimal combination for producing the best bending test is using a fiber volume of 20%, a vacuum pressure of 0.6 bar, and a catalyst of 1%. This research provides important insights into the development of lighter, stronger, and more environmentally friendly composite materials, which can be used as an alternative to metals in various industrial applications, including the manufacturing of wind turbine blade products

Industri otomotif memproduksi kendaraan dengan berbagai merek, sehingga aktivitas manusia dapat dilakukan lebih cepat, waktu lebih singkat, dan lebih efisien. Kemajuan dibidang otomotif ini sebagai bentuk perkembangan dan pembaharuan teknologi, salah satunya adalah teknologi dibidang gardan (Differential) dari sebuah kendaraan. Perkembangan industri pembuatan dan perakitan gardan di Indonesia menunjukkan peluang sangat besar baik dari pengembangan pasar, peluang investasi maupun pembuatan inovasi. Metodologi penelitian ini adalah Eksperimental, yang diawali dengan observasi lapangan, kemudian menyiapkan meterial, pengerjaan poros roda dan bracket hub, perakitan dan pemasangan serta uji coba Improvement Poros Roda Belakang pada Prototype Mobil Listrik Wiradadaha. Hasil running test rpm dengan menggunakan alat ukur Tacho Meter yaitu dengan 2 type pengukuran yaitu dengan menekan gas setengah pijakan menghasil kan 1195 rpm dan yang ke 2 dengan menekan gas full pijakann menghasilkan 2730 rpm

    Perkembangan modifikasi otomotif sangat baik, Dari mulai komponen yang berkualitas dan ke efisianya tinggi hingga memodifikasi, sehingga ke efisiannya tidak jauh berbeda. Untuk meningkatkan performa mesin Saya mencoba membuat Judul Analisis Penggunaan Velocity Air Intake Pada Throttle Body Terhadap Daya Dan Torsi Pada Motor Yamaha Vixion Tahun 2010. Tujuan penilitian yang akan penulis lakukan adalah untuk Mengetahui bagaimana hasil daya dan torsi tanpa menggunakan velocity dan Mengetahui bagaimana hasil daya dan torsi dengan menggunakan velocity. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode literatur dan eksperimen atau percobaan dalam sebuah perubahan elemen. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian, terdapat perbedaan antara filter dengak kondisi standar dan menggunakan velocity. Terdapat perubahan performa mesin pada daya dan torsi, diambil dari data hasil dynotes yaitu dengan Data Sebelum Data dari hasil sebelum dilakukan perubahan pada saluran masuk yaitu dengan menambahkan velocity yaitu torsi mencapai 7.8 N pada rpm 12.680 dan horse power (HP) 14.4 HP di 13.570 rpm. Sesudah Data dari hasil sesudah dilakukan perubahan pada saluran masuk yaitu dengan menambahkan velocity yaitu torsi mencapai 7.89 N pada rpm 12.718 dan horse power (HP) 14.7 HP di 13.690 rpm Dapat disimpulkan dari hasil tersebut ada peningkatan pada daya 0,3 HP dan torsi 0.9 Nm. Meskipun peningkatan tidak terlalu besar namun yang dirasakan pada sepeda motor kenaikan rpm pada mesin berubah menjadi lebih cepat. Dan mesin lebih bertenaga pada rpm atas dikarenakan udara yang masuk lebih besar.Kata kunci: Velocity, Daya dan Tors

    Dampak Latar Belakang Pendidikan Pesantren Dan Non-Pesantren Terhadap Kemampuan Bahasa Arab Siswa Di MAS Muhammadiyah 01 Medan

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak pendidikan pesantren dan non pesantren terhadap kemampuan bahasa Arab siswa di MAS Muhammadiyah 01 Medan. Fokus penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi perbedaan serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penguasaan bahasa Arab pada kedua kelompok siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, penyebaran kuesioner, dan observasi pembelajaran di kelas. Wawancara dilakukan untuk menggali informasi mendalam terkait metode pembelajaran, intensitas belajar, serta kendala yang dihadapi siswa. Kuesioner digunakan untuk mengukur persepsi siswa terhadap kemampuan bahasa Arab mereka, sementara observasi memberikan gambaran langsung tentang proses pembelajaran di kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan latar belakang pendidikan pesantren memiliki kemampuan bahasa Arab yang lebih baik dibandingkan siswa dari non pesantren. Faktor utama yang mempengaruhi hasil ini meliputi intensitas pembelajaran, pengalaman praktik berbahasa, serta lingkungan belajar yang mendukung. Selain itu, penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran interaktif dan penggunaan media pembelajaran modern dapat meningkatkan keterampilan bahasa Arab siswa dari kedua latar belakang. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan metode pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang lebih efektif di sekolah.

    AbstractThe use of appropriate teaching materials is crucial for creating an effective learning experience, supporting the achievement of educational objectives. One of the issues identified in teaching conversation at the Al-Kaffah Islamic Institute is that the teaching materials provided are not tailored to the students' proficiency levels. The materials used are based on personal efforts rather than being aligned with any reference framework. Therefore, this study aims to measure the effectiveness of structured teaching materials for teaching conversation at the beginner level (A1), based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This research employed a research and development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which includes five phases. The researcher utilized a mixed-methods approach combining qualitative and quantitative methodologies. To collect data, the researcher relied on observations, interviews, questionnaires, and tests.This study resulted in the development of a conversation teaching material product titled “Al-Muhadathah Al-Arabiyyah” (Arabic Conversation) based on the CEFR framework for the A1 beginner level. The material includes vocabulary and exercises, expressions, dialogues, and related exercises.The effectiveness of this teaching material was validated through expert evaluations, where the material received substantial ratings ranging between 81% and 100%, categorized as "Excellent," with an average score of 95.45%. Additionally, the findings showed that the average speaking ability of seventh-grade students (Class 7A) after using the “Al-Muhadathah Al-Arabiyyah” material was 84.11%, significantly higher than their average ability before using the material, which was 51.01%. The difference between the two averages was 33.10%. This indicates that the “Al-Muhadathah Al-Arabiyyah” teaching material can effectively be used by learners at the A1 level, particularly at the Al-Kaffah Islamic Institute in Tangerang.Keywords: material development, conversation, CEFR مستخلص البحثيعد استخدام المواد التعليمية المناسبة أمرًا مهما لخلق تجربة تعليمية فعّالة مما يدعم تحقيق الأهداف التربوية. ومن المشكلات التي تم اكتشافها في تعليم المحادثة في معهد الكافة الإسلامي هو لا يتم تقديم المواد التعليمية بما يتناسب مع مستويات الطلاب، وتعتمد المواد التعليمية المستخدمة على الاجتهادات الشخصية بدلاً من الاستناد إلى أي إطار مرجعي .لذلك، تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى قياس فعالية المواد التعليمية المنظمة في تعليم المحادثة للمستوى المبتدئ A1 بناءً على الإطار المرجعي الأوروبي المشترك للغات .(CEFR) اعتمد البحث على منهج البحث والتطوير باستخدام نموذج ADDIE، الذي يشمل خمس مراحل. استخدمت الباحثة منهجاً مختلطاً يجمع بين المدخل النوعي والمدخل الكمي. ولجمع البيانات، اعتمدت الباحثة على الملاحظة، والمقابلات، والاستبيانات، والاختبارات. أدى هذا البحث إلى إنتاج منتج مادة المحادثة بموضوع "المحادثة العربية" القائم على الإطار المرجعي الأوروبي المشترك للغات CEFR للمستوى المبتدئ A1، وتتضمن على المفردات وتدريباتها،  الأساليب، ثم الحوار والتدريبات عليها. وتم إثبات فعالية هذه المادة التعليمية من خلال نتائج التحقق من قبل المحكمين، حيث حصلت المادة على تقييم جوهري بنسبة تتراوح بين (٨١٪ - ١٠٠٪) ضمن فئة "ممتاز"، وبمتوسط درجات ٩٥،٤٥٪. كما أظهرت النتائج أن متوسط قدرة طلاب الصف السابع (٧أ) على المحادثة بعد استخدام المادة التعليمية "المحادثة العربية" وهي ٨٤،١١٪ أعلى من متواسط قدرتهم قبل استخدام تلك المادة ٥١،١٪. والفرق بينهما ٣٣،١٠٪. وهذا يدل على أن مادة "المحادثة العربية" يمكن استخدامها من قبل المتعلمين في المستوىA1، خاصة في معهد الكافة للتربية الإسلامية تانجيرانج.النقاط الحاكمة : تطوير مادة، محادثة، الإطار المرجعي الأوروبي المشترك للغات

    The Effectiveness of the PQRST Strategy in Teaching Reading Skills at Al-Muddatsiriyah Islamic Senior High School Jakarta

    This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the PQRST strategy (Preview, Question, Read, Summarize, Test) in teaching reading skills. In addition, this research examines the steps for implementing this strategy, measures students' comprehension levels after its application, and demonstrates students' learning outcomes in Maharah Qira’ah using the PQRST strategy. This study employs a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a non-equivalent control group design. The sample consists of eleventh-grade students at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Muddatsiriyah, totaling 58 students. The researcher divided the students into two groups: 29 students in the experimental group and 29 students in the control group. Data collection involved pre-test and post-test assessments as well as interviews. For data analysis, the researcher conducted a normality test using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, a homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using the t-test and N-Gain test through SPSS Statistics 27. The results of this study show that the average post-test score for the experimental group (82.58) is higher than that of the control group (64.89). Based on this difference, the researcher concludes that the average score of the experimental class is higher than that of the control class. Additionally, the independent sample t-test resulted in a value of 0.00 < 0.05, indicating that 0 is rejected and is accepted. The N-Gain test score shows that the use of the PQRST strategy achieved a score of 0.61 or 61%, which falls within the moderate effectiveness category. Therefore, based on statistical tests, the PQRST strategy is declared effective with a moderate level of effectiveness in teaching reading skills.Keywords: Effectiveness, PQRST Strategy, Maharah Qira’ah. مستخلص البحثيهدف هذا البحث إلى الكشف عن مدى فعالية استخدام استراتيجية PQRST (الاستعراض، الأسئلة، القراءة، التلخيص، الاختبار) في تعليم مهارة القراءة. والكشف عن كيفية استخدامها وخطواتها، وقياس فهم التلاميذ بعد تطبيق هذه الإستراتيجية في تعلم اللغة العربية، وخاصة في مهارة القراءة، وعن نتائج تعلم التلاميذ في تعليم مهارة القراءة باستخدام استراتيجية .PQRST  هذا البحث هو البحث الكمي باستخدام طريقة شبه التجريبي (Quasi Experiment) ومع تصميم المجموعات غير المتكافئة (Nonequivalent Control Group Design). والعينة في هذا البحث من الصف الحادي عشر في المدرسة الثانوية الإسلامية المدثرية، ومجموعهن 58 تلميذ. قسمت الباحثة التلاميذ إلى مجموعتين،29 تلميذ في المجموعة التجريبية و29 تلميذ في المجموعة الضابطة. لجمع البيانات استخدمت الباحثة على الاختبارين (اختبار القبلي والبعدي(، والمقابلة. وفي تحليل البيانات قامت الباحثة باختبار التوزيع الطبيعي كوملوجوروف -سميرنوفKolmogrov-Sminrov) )، واختبار التجانس واختبار الفرضيات باستخدام اختبار Independent Sampel T- Test واختبار N-Gain باستخدام .SPSS  Statistic  27 تثبت نتائج هذا البحث أن درجات الاختبار البعدي للمجموعة التجريبية حصلت على متوسط (82،58) مقارنة بالمجموعة الضابطة (64،89). وبناءً على هذا الاختلاف الدارجة ذكرت الباحثة إلى أن متوسط درجات المجموعة التجريبية كان أكبر من المجموعة الضابطة. إضافة إلى ذلك، علاوة على ذلك حصلت نتائج ت مستقل (Independent Sample T-Test) هي 0،00 < 0،05 ، بمعنى الفرضية الصفرية ( (Ho مرفوضة والفرضية البديلة H)) مقبولة. أما بالنسبة لنتائج اختبار N-Gain فقد أظهرت أن استخدام استراتيجية PQRST بقيمة 0،61 أو ما يعادل 61% في مستوى متوسط. وبالتالي، تشير نتائج البحث بناءً على الاختبارات الإحصائية إلى أن استراتيجية PQRST  فعالة بمستوى متوسط في تعليم مهارة القراءة. الكلمات المفتاحية:   فعالية، استراتيجية  PQRST، تعليم مهارة القراءة

    HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT, WORK EFFECTIVENESS EMPLOYEE

    This study aims to analyze human resource management strategies in improving employee work effectiveness at PT. Tranciv Global Perkasa. Employee work effectiveness is one of the key factors in achieving the company's goals. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, where data were obtained through in-depth interviews with relevant informants. The results indicate that the implemented human resource management strategies include planning, recruitment, selection, employee placement based on competencies, and employee development through training and workshops. Furthermore, performance-based rewards and compensation policies are key measures taken by the company to motivate and enhance employee loyalty. The employee performance evaluation system is conducted periodically to ensure optimal work effectiveness. This study concludes that integrated and adaptive human resource management significantly contributes to improving employee work effectiveness and the company’s competitiveness. The author suggests that performance evaluations be conducted more frequently, every three months, to monitor employee performance progress more effectively and enhance work motivation through a competitive reward system

    DETERMINANTS OF EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE ON JOB TRAINING, CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE

    Effective HR management is the key to organizational success, including in universities. This study analyzes the influence of job training, career development, and organizational culture on the performance of permanent employees of the University of Muhammadiyah Jember. The quantitative method was used by saturated sampling on 135 respondents through a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing, and determination coefficients. The results showed that all three variables had a significant effect on performance (R² = 0.803 or 80%), proving that the development of human resources and a strong organizational culture increases productivity. These findings make a practical contribution to universities in designing more effective HR management strategies
