    Sustaining Work Life Balance of Senior High School Principal and Teacher

    This study employed a phenomenological approach to investigate the experiences of principals and teachers in Indonesia in achieving work-life balance and well-being. The findings revealed that principals and teachers face various challenges that can negatively impact their work-life balance, including heavy workloads, high expectations, limited resources, and a lack of work-life balance. On the other hand, the study also identified several positive aspects of working in schools that can contribute to enhanced well-being, such as a collaborative culture, a sense of purpose, and building relationships with students. Based on the research findings, recommendations are presented to promote work-life balance for principals and teachers in Indonesia. These recommendations include enhancing support, leadership development, collaboration, workload reviews, mental health resources, flexible work arrangements, and a culture that values personal time

    Arabic Language Learning Through the Singing Method for Early Childhood

    This study investigates the effectiveness of the singing method in teaching Arabic to early childhood learners. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were gathered through direct field observations, interviews with practitioners, and literature reviews. The findings highlight that singing is an effective approach to introduce Arabic vocabulary to children, enhancing their ability to recall words and improving their pronunciation. Songs with simple, relatable themes, such as hijaiyah letters, numbers, and family names, facilitate language acquisition by making learning enjoyable and engaging. Additionally, the singing method fosters children's motivation and active participation in the learning process while also developing their critical thinking and creativity. However, challenges such as limited Arabic-themed songs and classroom dynamics in large groups were noted. Despite these limitations, the singing method is recommended for early childhood education due to its positive impact on linguistic and cognitive development. Teachers are encouraged to innovate by creating new songs or adapting existing ones to further improve learning outcomes

    IMPLEMENTASI KURIKULUM MERDEKA BELAJAR PADA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DI SMA NEGERI 11 PALEMBANG

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan guru dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka belajar pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA Negeri 11 Palembang ditinjau dari segi perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan asesmen pembelajaran. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 6 orang yang merupakan wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, guru mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas 10 dan kelas 11. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kurikulum merdeka belajar pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA Negeri 11 Palembang sudah berjalan dengan baik. Guru-guru di sekolah tersebut telah memahami dengan baik konsep kurikulum merdeka belajar dan mampu merancang pembelajaran yang sesuai prinsip kurikulum merdeka belajar. Selain itu, sekolah juga telah menyediakan sarana dan prasarana yang cukup memadai untuk mendukung penerapan tersebut. Akan tetapi, masih terdapat beberapa aspek yang ditingkatkan, seperti variasi metode pembelajaran, dan pemanfaatan teknologi. Kata kunci: kurikulum merdeka belajar, pembelajaran bahasa Indonesi

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai pendidikan karakter dalam buku cerita Butet dan Orang Rimba karya Benny Rhamdani dan mengetahui upaya guru dalam mengimplementasikan nilai karakter sebagai materi ajar bahasa Indonesia di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode analisis isi. Buku cerita Butet dan Orang Rimba karya Benny Rhamdani sebagai sumber data pada penelitian ini. Data berupa kalimat atau dialog dari buku cerita Butet dan Orang Rimba yang mengandung nilai pendidikan karakter. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan menggunakan teknik catat, studi dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Teknik analisis data dapat 4 tahapan yang mencakup pengumpulan data, klasifikasi data, interpretasi data dan penarikan simpulan. Adapun teknik keabsahan data menggunakan 2 triangulasi yakni triangulasi teori dan triangulasi peneliti. Hasil dari penelitian ini terdapat 3 nilai pendidikan karakter yakni nilai karakter sabar, nilai karakter kerja keras, dan nilai karakter peduli sosial. Serta upaya guru dalam mengimplementasikan nilai pendidikan karakter (1) bergiliran membaca ulang buku cerita Butet dan Orang Rimba,(2) memberikan tugas menganalisis amanat dari buku cerita Butet dan Orang Rimba  dan (3) membuat kelompok diskusi.Kata kunci: Nilai karakter, materi ajar, buku cerit

    COVID-19 Vaccination Policy: The United States And China

    This study examines Covid-19 vaccination policies in the United States and China. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a literature study approach. This research sends research map information using export data to RIS Export file format, which is then processed using VOSviewers to determine the big data that will be analyzed to obtain comparative data results of this research with previous research. In the second discussion, the author processed the data using Nvivo 12 to explore and describe the COVID-19 vaccination Policy in the United States and China to explain the data efficiently. This study found that the United States and China showed a strong government response to control the spread of COVID-19. The findings suggest that countries with effective vaccination policies tend to be more successful in curbing the spread of COVID-19 than countries without vaccination programs. Governments in both countries have implemented various policies to break the chain of transmission of COVID-19, such as lockdowns, social distancing, quarantine, and vaccination policies. The vaccination policy in the United States and China is successful because the vaccination presence in the two countries is fairly high, with the United States reaching 73.65% while China reaching 87.24%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kebijakan vaksinasi Covid-19 di Amerika Serikat dan China. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka. Penelitian ini melakukan pengiriman informasi peta penelitian dengan menggunakan data ekspor ke RIS Format file ekspor, yang kemudian diolah menggunakan VOSviewers untuk menentukan data besar yang akan dianalisis untuk memperoleh hasil data perbandingan penelitian ini dengan penelitian terdahulu. Pada pembahasan kedua, penulis mengolah data menggunakan Nvivo 12 untuk mengeksplorasi dan mendeskripsikan Kebijakan Vaksinasi Covid-19 di Amerika Serikat dan China untuk menjelaskan data secara efisien. Hasil Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Amerika Serikat dan China menunjukkan respons pemerintah yang kuat untuk mengendalikan penyebaran COVID-19. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa negara dengan kebijakan vaksinasi yang efektif cenderung lebih berhasil dalam membatasi penyebaran COVID-19 dibandingkan dengan negara yang tidak memiliki program vaksinasi. Pemerintah di kedua negara telah menerapkan berbagai kebijakan untuk memutus rantai penularan COVID-19, seperti kebijakan lockdown, social distancing, karantina, dan vaksinasi. Kebijakan Vaksinasi yang ada di Amerika Serikat dan China sudah bisa dikatakan berhasil karena dengan melihat presentasi Vaksinasi di dua negara tersebut yang terbilang tinggi yaitu Amerika serikat mencapai 73,65% sedangkan China mencapai 87,24%

    Optimalisasi Jumlah Pekerja Pada Sub Unit Water Treatment & Sanitasi dengan Metode WLA dan NASA TLX

    AbstractWater treatment and sanitation is one part of Operational maintenance at PT Angkasa Pura Solusi engaged in repair and maintenance services for water treatment and sanitation equipment. This study aims to measure workload and optimise the number of personnel in the Water treatment and sanitation subunit at PT Angkasa Pura Solusi, Terminal 3 Soekarno-Hatta Airport. By using the Workload Analysis (WLA) and NASA-TLX methods. Workload Analysis (WLA) method to analyse workload based on the level of productivity of personnel, and NASA-TLX to assess mental workload based on six dimensions. The results showed that the average workload experienced by Water treatment and sanitation personnel was 82.28 using the NASA-TLX method and the workload analysis value was 109%. Where both values lead to an overload burden experienced by personnel. By optimising the number of personnel through additional manpower and appropriate division of tasks is expected to improve the efficiency and welfare of personnel. The findings provide a recommendation to periodically evaluate and adjust the number of workers as well as adjustments to the workload distribution to ensure optimal operational performance and better worker welfare.Keywords: Workload Analysis (WLA), NASA-TLX, Work Sampling, Workload, worker optimization AbstrakWater treatment dan sanitasi merupakan salah satu bagian dari Operational maintenance yang ada pada PT Angkasa Pura Solusi bergerak dibidang jasa perbaikan dan perawatan peralatan Water treatment dan sanitasi. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur beban kerja dan mengoptimalkan jumlah personil pada subunit Water treatment dan sanitasi di PT Angkasa Pura Solusi, Terminal 3 Bandara Soekarno-Hatta. Metode Workload Analysis (WLA) untuk menganalisis beban kerja berdasarkan tingkat produktifis personil, dan NASA-TLX untuk menilai beban kerja mental berdasarkan enam dimensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata beban kerja yang dialami oleh personil Water treatment dan sanitasi adalah sebesar 82,28 dengan menggunakan metode NASA-TLX dan nilai workload analysis adalah 109%. Dimana kedua nilai tersebut mengarah pada adanya overload beban yang dialami personil. Dengan mengoptimalkan jumlah personil melalui penambahan tenaga kerja dan pembagian tugas yang sesuai diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan kesejahteraan personil. Temuan ini memberikan rekomendasi untuk melakukan evaluasi dan penyesuaian jumlah pekerja secara berkala serta penyesuaian pada distribusi beban kerja guna memastikan kinerja operasional yang optimal dan kesejahteraan pekerja yang lebih baik. Kata Kunci: Workload Analysis (WLA), NASA-TLX, Work Sampling, Beban kerja, optimasi pekerj

    Penggunaan teknologi informasi pada saat ini berkembang sangat pesat dan memberikan dampak yang signifikan salah satu bagi akutansi. Laporan Laba/Rugi merupakan bagian periode akuntansi dari laporan keuangan perusahaan yang merinci komponen pendapatan dan pengeluaran bisnis untuk menghasilkan laba atau rugi bersih dimana itu sangat penting bagi perkembangan bisnis. Salah satunya ShuShu merupakan kedai minuman bergaya jepang dimana gerai pertama berdiri tahun 2018 dan berada di AEON MALL BSD, Tangerang Selatan. Dalam pembuatan laporan laba/rugi pada kedai ini sudah menggunakan excel sehingga kemungkinan terjadi eror sangat memungkinkan dan pengelolaan data yang rumit karena ukuran file yang besar. Dalam menyelasaikan masalah tersebut penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merancang suatu sistem informasi laporan laba/rugi. Dalam perancangan pada tingkat menalisis sistem laporan laba/rugi berbasis website. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode analisis SIPOC (Supplier, Input, Process, Output, Costumer) untuk mengetahui permsalahan yang terjadi pada sistem informasi. Metode yang digunakan untuk perancangan sistem informasi laporan laba/rugi ini adalah UML (Unified Modeling Language). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang sistem informasi laporan laba/rugi yang dapat mempermudah dalam pencatatan dan pembuatan laporan laba/rugi guna menghemat waktu. Diharapkan dengan adanya sistem informasi informasi ini perusahaan bisa dengan cepat dan mudah dalam pembuatan laporan laba/rugi

    One of the conditions faced by airplanes when moving through the air is the very cold surrounding air temperature. If the altitude increases, the air temperature will decrease, from around 17℃ to -52℃. For every 100 meter increase in height the temperature decreases by 0.61oC.To prevent the occurrence of ice lumps on the surface of the aircraft due to the surrounding air temperature reaching -520 C which can cause interference and endanger flight safety, certain parts of the aircraft surface are equipped with a heating system (anti-ice system) to melt the ice lumps into liquid. one of which is installed on the glass of the aircraft steering room (cockpit) which is usually called the windows anti-ice system. Several reports of incidents involving the cockpit glass heating system experiencing problems were caused by sensors that were not working normally. This research aims to determine the performance of the sensor regarding changes in the temperature of the cockpit glass using the method of measuring the sensor resistance value and the temperature of the cockpit glass. It is hoped that the results of this research can be used as material for further research to determine the reliability of the sensors installed in the cockpit glass from analysis of data on changes in resistance values to temperature and sensor age since the glass was installed on the aircraft. So it can be predicted when the B737-800 cockpit glass must be replaced before damage occurs during aircraft operation

    Curriculum Policy of Islamic Studies Based on Arabic Language at Ora Aji Islamic Boarding School Yogyakarta

    This research aims to investigate the curriculum and evaluate the implementation of Arabic language learning and understand the various challenges at the Ora Aji Islamic Boarding School, Yogyakarta. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. The selection of informants was carried out using purposive sampling, a data sampling technique that considers certain factors. The research instrument consists of in-depth interviews, document analysis, and observation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings involve several aspects, including a lack of innovation and motivation in teaching Arabic, low effectiveness of Arabic language application, and a shortage of Human Resources (HR). Learning Arabic at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) has proven to be effective inside and outside the classroom (dormitory). It is recommended that Arabic language teaching not only be limited to the classroom, but also implemented in dormitories using the muhadasah method and delivering vocabulary for at least 1 day and 3 vocabularies (mufrodat). Even though the Ora Aji Islamic Boarding School tries to combine Salafi and modern teaching methods, the implementation of Arabic in classes and dormitories is still hampered. The importance of consistency and consequences for students who violate Arabic language rules shows that the Ora Aji Islamic Boarding School is still in the stage of development and adjustment to the characteristics of each student

    Contribution Of Pesantren Through Collective Leadership From A Total Quality Management Perspective

    This study aims to examine the extent to which the quality of management at Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School in Ulujami has improved through the implementation of collective leadership. The research begins by observing Darunnajah as a community-based pesantren established in Jakarta, Indonesia. Today, Darunnajah students have achieved both national and international recognition in the fields of religious studies, applied sciences, and vocational skills. The study then focuses on the leadership’s commitment to enhancing the quality management of the pesantren from the perspective of Edward Sallis's Total Quality Management (TQM), particularly in relation to the three main educational components: students, educators, and educational staff. This research employs a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through two methods. First, primary data were obtained through initial and follow-up field observations, as well as structured and unstructured interviews. Second, secondary data were collected from documents, alumni input, seminars, relevant literature, electronic media, and academic materials. The validity of the data was ensured through prolonged engagement in the field and triangulation. The results of the study indicate that collective leadership at Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School has had a positive impact on various aspects. The teaching and learning process has improved through better educator qualifications, satisfactory staff performance, and well-maintained facilities and infrastructure, which has also contributed to an increase in student enrollment. Internally, institutional development is reflected in the establishment of laboratories, canteens and cooperatives, sports facilities, and enhanced student skills. Externally, the pesantren has strengthened cooperation with local governments and companies, served as a role model for other Islamic boarding schools, and attracted attention from researchers and foreign education expert
