    Teacher’s Feedback to Improve Students’ Writing Recount Text at First Semester Students of English Letters Department UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta in 2024-2025

    This research aims to improve the students’ writing skill through Teacher Feedback strategy at First Semester Students of English Letters Department UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta in 2024-2025. The subjects of this research were 27 students of A class.  This research used a cycle of Classroom Action Research, and it consisted of five meetings. The CAR cycle contents are Planning, Acting, Observing, and Reflecting. This research used two types of data, and they were qualitative and quantitative data. The qualitative data were obtained through observations during the teaching learning activities. Moreover, the quantitative data were the scores of the students’ writing recount text before the implementation of the Feedback (pre-test) and after the implementation of the Feedback (post-test). The students’ pre-test scores showed that the total was 1250. In this degree, the mean that the researcher gained in students’ pre-test score was 46.30. Furthermore, the students’ post-test scores showed the total was 2062. In this degree, the mean that the researcher gained in students’ post-test was 76.37. It can be seen that there was an improvement on students’ mean scores. Most of the students’ scores were increased from the pre-test and the post-test scores. It was from 29.63% (8 students) who passed the minimum score to 81.48% (22 students) of the 27 students. It can be seen that there was a significant improvement from the percentage before and after treatments. In short, applying Teacher Feedback strategy in teaching learning process can significantly improve the writing skills of the students

    Development of Interactive Multimedia Modules to Support Inclusive Education in the Learning Planning for Children with Special Needs Course

    Inclusive education necessitates the availability of learning media accessible to all students, including those with visual impairments. This study focused on developing an interactive multimedia module using Articulate Storyline, designed to cater to the needs of visually impaired students and their peers in the Special Education Needs Planning course. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) approach, utilizing the DDD-E model (Decide, Design, Develop, Evaluate). The process encompassed a needs analysis, the design of a module based on the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), module development, and an evaluation of its feasibility and effectiveness. Validation by experts in learning planning, inclusive education, and multimedia design deemed the module highly effective and suitable for use without requiring revisions. Trials involving visually impaired and regular students demonstrated that the module enhanced both understanding and engagement in learning. This interactive multimedia module plays a pivotal role in advancing the implementation of inclusive education within higher education institutions. Further research can explore the application of the developed interactive multimedia module in different courses and broader educational settings to validate its adaptability and effectiveness. Comparative studies between traditional teaching methods and the integration of such modules could provide insights into their impact on learning outcomes, particularly for students with diverse needs

    Persepsi Generasi Z terhadap Literasi Membaca di Era Digital: Preferensi terhadap Media Cetak dan Digital

    Reading literacy in the digital era has become increasingly complex due to the overwhelming and often unstructured flow of information. Literacy does not develop automatically; instead, it requires deliberate efforts to foster reading interest to become a sustainable habit that supports knowledge acquisition, attitude formation, and skill development. This study aims to investigate Generation Z’s preferences, habits, and perceptions regarding the use of print and digital media, and how these media contribute to fostering reading interest. The research employed a qualitative method with data collected through an online questionnaire distributed to Generation Z students in the Ciayumajakuning region. The results reveal that while print media remains relevant for a portion of Generation Z, digital media has emerged as the dominant medium in cultivating their reading motivation and habits. Respondents highlighted print's sensory and credibility values, but emphasized the accessibility, interactivity, and variety of digital platforms as more appealing. The findings suggest that Generation Z demonstrates stronger engagement when reading materials are presented digitally. However, print media remains important in supporting deeper concentration and comprehension. This study implies that digital and print media should be integrated strategically in educational and social contexts to enhance literacy development. The study contributes to ongoing discussions on designing hybrid literacy strategies that combine the strengths of both media ecosystems to foster lifelong reading interest among Generation Z.Literasi membaca di era digital semakin kompleks akibat arus informasi yang melimpah dan seringkali tidak terstruktur. Literasi tidak berkembang secara otomatis; sebaliknya, diperlukan upaya sengaja untuk menumbuhkan minat membaca agar menjadi kebiasaan yang berkelanjutan yang mendukung penguasaan pengetahuan, pembentukan sikap, dan pengembangan keterampilan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki preferensi, kebiasaan, dan persepsi Generasi Z terkait penggunaan media cetak dan digital, serta bagaimana media-media tersebut berkontribusi dalam menumbuhkan minat membaca. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner online yang dibagikan kepada siswa Generasi Z di wilayah Ciayumajakuning. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun media cetak masih relevan bagi sebagian Generasi Z, media digital telah menjadi medium dominan dalam menumbuhkan motivasi dan kebiasaan membaca mereka. Responden menyoroti nilai-nilai sensorik dan kredibilitas media cetak, namun menekankan bahwa aksesibilitas, interaktivitas, dan keragaman platform digital lebih menarik. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Generasi Z menunjukkan keterlibatan yang lebih kuat saat materi bacaan disajikan secara digital. Namun, media cetak tetap penting dalam mendukung konsentrasi dan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam. Studi ini menyarankan bahwa media digital dan cetak harus diintegrasikan secara strategis dalam konteks pendidikan dan sosial untuk meningkatkan pengembangan literasi. Studi ini berkontribusi pada diskusi yang sedang berlangsung tentang merancang strategi literasi hibrida yang menggabungkan kekuatan kedua ekosistem media untuk menumbuhkan minat membaca seumur hidup di kalangan Generasi Z

    Using Arabic Picture Story Media Enhance Religius Character Student in Primary School

    This research includes the type of research development that aims to produce products using the Dick and Carey model. The product of Arabic pictorial story media enhance religious students at SD Muhammadiyah I, Lab school Umsida. Data analysis in the form of qualitative and quantitative descriptive questionnaires from technology experts and subject matter experts, as well as comments from students for revision. The arabic pictorial story media enhance religious students were carried out in the form of pre-test and post-test on 32 students with several moral subjects. The pre-test post-test results showed the Sig (2- tailed) value was 0,000 < 0.05, which means that there were differences in learning outcomes between before and then using Arabic pictorial story media. The results of Arabic pictorial story media enhance religious students effective improving has a support level of 89.94% for increasing the involvement religious characters in school

    OPTIMIZING SENTIMENT ANALYSIS FOR USABILITY TESTING: ENHANCING SVM ACCURACY THROUGH KERNEL SELECTION AND TUNING METHODS

    With over 2.4 million apps on the Google Play Store by 2023, app developers face increasing demands to ensure high usability quality to remain competitive. Traditional usability testing methods, including heuristic evaluations and user questionnaires, are often limited by high costs, time constraints, and lack of real-world context. Sentiment analysis presents an alternative approach, leveraging user reviews as a resource for usability insights. This research applies Support Vector Machine (SVM) for sentiment analysis and usability testing on Google Play Store reviews, focusing on five usability criteria. Data collection yielded 2,000 reviews from a banking app, with two annotators conducting multi-label labeling for both sentiment and usability criteria. Through a series of experiments, the Linear Kernel in SVM demonstrated the highest performance, achieving 70.50% accuracy, an F1 Score of 0.8618, and a Hamming Loss of 0.0783. Grid Search was employed to optimize the C parameter for the linear kernel, revealing an optimal C value of 0.01, which resulted in an improved accuracy of 75.20%, F1 Score of 0.8775, and Hamming Loss of 0.0686. Experiments with values above or below 0.01 showed decreased accuracy, underscoring the importance of a balanced C value to enhance model generalization and avoid overfitting. These findings suggest that sentiment analysis via SVM can effectively capture usability feedback from user reviews, providing a scalable, data-driven solution for app usability assessment.     Desa Plancungan, Kecamatan Slahung, Kabupaten Ponorogo, merupakan penghasil tembakau,  salah satu produk pertanian yang berperan penting dalam mendukung mata pencaharian,  pertumbuhan ekonomi, dan penyerapan tenaga kerja. Di desa ini, petani membudidayakan  tembakau rajangan, termasuk tembakau Virginia. Namun, proses penjemuran tembakau yang  dilakukan di ruang terbuka selama dua hingga tiga hari sangat bergantung pada kondisi cuaca  yang tidak menentu, yang sering kali memengaruhi kualitas hasil panen. Untuk mengatasi  tantangan tersebut, penelitian ini menerapkan algoritma K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) guna  memprediksi cuaca di Desa Plancungan. Data cuaca dikumpulkan menggunakan alat  mikrokontroler yang dipasang di lokasi, yang merekam tiga parameter utama: suhu,  kelembapan, dan tekanan udara. Dari total 10.000 data yang diperoleh, sebanyak 2.500 data  digunakan untuk pelatihan dan pengujian algoritma. Hasil penelitian berupa prediksi cuaca—hujan, cerah, atau berawan—ditampilkan dalam bentuk halaman web. Informasi ini memungkinkan petani mendapatkan gambaran kondisi cuaca lebih awal, sehingga mereka dapat merencanakan langkah antisipasi untuk menjaga kualitas hasil panen dan mengoptimalkan  proses penjemuran tembakau di tengah tantangan cuaca yang berubah- ubah

    Pendidikan merupakan hak setiap manusia yang terus ditingkatkan mutunya oleh pemerintah, salah satunya melalui kurikulum merdeka dengan profil pelajar Pancasila. Namun, implementasi profil pelajar Pancasila ini belum optimal, khususnya dalam mengembangkan daya kreativitas siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan kegiatan hasta karya pada ekstrakurikuler Pramuka berpengaruh terhadap penguatan dimensi kreatif pada profil pelajar Pancasila di lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Laboratorium Percontohan UPI Serang menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan desain One-Group Pre-Test-Post-Test. Sampel terdiri dari 38 siswa kelas IV, V, dan VI yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler Pramuka. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada dimensi kreatif siswa, dengan rata-rata skor Pre-Test 55,05 dan Post-Test 65,03. Uji Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test menghasilkan nilai Asymp. signifikansi 0,001 < 0,05, menunjukkan bahwa penerapan hasta karya berpengaruh positif terhadap dimensi kreatif siswa. Maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Temuan ini juga menegaskan bahwa kegiatan hasta karya berkontribusi positif dalam memperkuat dimensi kreatif siswa

    Literasi budaya dan kewargaan dapat diterapkan melalui suatu kegiatan dalam lingkungan masyarakat maupun sekolah sebagai upaya dalam mencintai budaya dan negara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan literasi budaya dan kewargaan di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Peneliti menggunakan analisis isi sebagai teknik analisis data pendekatan kualitatif. Melalui analisis isi bertujuan peneliti dapat mengungkap pemahaman pada objek yang akan diteliti. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data serta penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode triangulasi. Triangulasi sumber dilakukan dengan cara melalui beberapa sumber, yaitu kepala sekolah, guru dan peserta didik SDN Durung Bedug. Hasil yang dipublikasikan bertujuan untuk memperkaya kajian tentang penerapan literasi budaya dan kewargaan di sekolah dasar.     The death penalty is the highest form of punishment still applied in Indonesia, especially for serious crimes such as premeditated murder, narcotics, and terrorism. This policy has a clear legal basis in the Criminal Code and a number of special laws. However, its implementation has raised debates regarding its impact on human rights, especially the right to life guaranteed by the constitution. This study aims to examine the legal basis, history and evolution of the death penalty policy, its impact on human rights, and its implementation in the context of law enforcement in Indonesia. This study uses a normative legal method with a legislative, conceptual, and historical approach, as well as qualitative data analysis of primary and secondary legal materials to understand the legal basis, objectives, and implications of the implementation of the death penalty in Indonesia. The results of the study show that although the death penalty has strong legal legitimacy, its implementation faces serious challenges, such as criticism of its effectiveness in preventing crime and potential violations of procedural justice, especially for less fortunate defendants. International pressure has also encouraged Indonesia to consider progressive steps, such as implementing a moratorium or abolishing the death penalty. This study concludes that the death penalty needs to be thoroughly evaluated to be more in line with human rights principles. A moratorium could be the first step in reforming more humane and effective sentencing policies

    Notary/PPAT is a public official who has an important role in ensuring legal certainty through authentic deeds made by authorized officials. In the land law system, the process of making authentic deeds is the basis for the transfer of land rights. So that the deed of sale and purchase of land made by PPAT has authentic legal force that guarantees legal certainty. This study is expected to provide a clearer understanding of the importance of the deed reading procedure in ensuring legal certainty, as well as emphasizing the responsibility of PPAT in carrying out their duties in accordance with the principles of caution and professionalism. The type of research used is Normative Juridical research or library legal research methods, namely reviewing laws and regulations and relevant case studies on the importance of understanding bankruptcy status where notaries affect their professional duties and the authenticity of legal documents. The results of this study indicate that with the existence of administrative sanctions of dishonorable dismissal of the position of PPAT for violating the law, and in general the legal consequences of a deed that is not read in front of the parties will be the same as a private deed and have legal consequences as a private deed because of the error of the PPAT being given administrative responsibility for his actions of dishonorable dismissal in accordance with the Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 37 of 1998 concerning the Regulation of the Position of Land Deed Making Officials Article 22, the PPAT deed must be read/its contents explained to the parties in the presence of at least 2 witnesses before being signed immediately by the parties, witnesses, and the PPAT in this case deviating from what is in the Law
