Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) as an Effort to Improve Mood Swing Premenstruation Syndrome
Towards or during the menstrual cycle there are changes in the balance of various hormones such as endorphins, serotonin, and other hormones that determine mood. Mood swings, commonly known as premenstrual syndrome, fluctuate involving alternating feelings of happiness, sadness, anger, and depression, which are often known as Mood Swings. This condition can be minimized with non-pharmacological therapy, one of which is SEFT (Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique). The purpose of this study was to prove the effect of SEFT (Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique) therapy in improving the mood of Premenstrual Swing Syndrome at Darussalam Islamic Boarding School. The research design was a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest approach. The research population was all female students who experienced premenstrual syndrome Mood Swings at Darussalam Islamic Boarding School with a total of 232 respondents. A sample of 186 respondents, was selected by random sampling technique. The instruments in the study were standard SEFT therapy procedures and the FDMS (Four Dimension Mood Scale
Systematic Review: The Relationship of Spouses’ Support and Postpartum Depression
Postpartum depression is a mental health problem experienced by mothers at 4 weeks after giving birth which is characterized by feelings of sadness, decreased mood, feelings of failure or guilt, and even suicidal ideation, one of which is due to lack of husband support. To analyze the incidence of postpartum depression, the provision of husband support, and the relationship between providing husband support to the incidence of postpartum depression. This study used a systematic review design by tracing journal articles through the database like as Proquest, Garuda Portal, PubMed, and Science Direct with the publication year from January 2012 - January 2022 and discussing husband support and the incidence of postpartum depression, and using Indonesian and English. The keywords used in national journal were "husband's support" and "postpartum depression" or "postpartum depression", for international journal articles used "spousal support" or "partner support" or "husband's support" and "postpartum depression. The results showed that 10 journal articles met the inclusion criteria with all journal articles stating that there was a relationship between husband support and the incidence of postpartum depression. Most postpartum mothers do not experience postpartum depression and receive husband's support. There was a relationship between providing husband's support and the incidence of postpartum depression, where the higher the husband's support, the lower postpartum depression that occurs in postpartum mothers. The results of the study found 10 journal articles that met the inclusion criteria with all journal articles stating that there was a relationship between the provision of husband support and the incidence of postpartum depression
Literature Review: The Relationship of Knowledge and The Selection of Long-Acting Contraceptive Methods
The participation or involvement of Birth control program acceptors in selecting and using long- acting contraceptive methods (LACMs) in Indonesia still needs to be higher. The factors contributing to the minimal participation of KB acceptors in the selection or use of LACMs include the low level of knowledge among acceptors regarding the use of LACMs. The objective of the study was to explain the relationship between KB acceptors' knowledge and the selection of LACMs. This literature review used a systematic literature review of 10 articles related to the topic, which have been screened. Ten journals that had been selected say that all agree that there is a relationship between knowledge and LACMs. According to the researcher and the data obtained, it could be concluded that there was a match between the researcher's literature review results and current theory, as well as previous research result
The Influence of Health Education on Knowledge of Breastfeeding Mothers about the Benefits of Katuk leaves Againts Improvement Breast Milk Production
Katuk leaves play a role in the prolactin reflex and stimulate the alveoli to produce breast milk, because they contain polyphenyls and steroids. It also stimulates the hormone oxytocin so that it stimulates the release of breast milk. Katuk leaves also contain several aliphatic compounds. Katuk leaves which can increase milk production, are thought to originate from the hormonal effects of sterol chemical compounds that are estrogenic. Type of research One Group Pretest Posttest Design with pre-test and post-test design. The sample used was mothers who were breastfeeding with babies less than 2 months old, a total of 30 respondents were taken by total sampling. The research instrument used questionnaires and leaflets. The statistical test uses the Shapiro Wilk test with the SPSS 16.0 program. 50% of respondents had sufficient knowledge and 93.3% of respondents had good knowledge regarding the benefits of katuk leaves in increasing milk production. Based on Shapiro Wilk's statistical test, it was found that p value = 0.000, so that p value = 0.000 < α = 0.05. Lowering Blood Pressure of Hypertension through Benson Relaxation
Hypertension is a chronic non-communicable disease, the cases of which are increasing every years. Hypertension is caused by heredity, age, food and unhealthy lifestyle. The consequences of hypertension include heart disease, stroke, myocardial infarction, atherosclerosis, kidney failure and other diseases. One of the effective and easy non-pharmacological treatments for lowering blood pressure is using Benson relaxation. Benson's relaxation is a concentration of relaxation by harmonizing blood pressure so that it reduces the work of the sympathetic and initial sympathetic nerves to affect heart rate, pulse, respiration and activities that use the workload of the heart. This study aimed to analyze the effect of benson relaxation in reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients. This study was a pre-experimental research with a pretest and posttest design approach. The population in this study was hypertensive patients with a sample of 18 respondents selected by purposive sampling with the criteria of being willing to become respondents and participating in Benson relaxation activities for 2 weeks. The hypothesis testing used the T test (Paired sample Test). The results of the pre post systole study obtained p = 0.000 and pre post diastole p = 0.007 indicating that Benson relaxation is done regularly and is effective in reducing blood pressure in people with hypertension. It is hoped that people and families with hypertension can apply Benson in reducing and controlling blood pressur
