The incidence of caesarean section in Indonesia has increased every year. Caesarean section is an alternative to delivery when vaginal delivery cannot be done. The problems studied are the factors that influence the action of cesarean section delivery. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors of delivery by caesarean section at Panti Waluya Hospital, Malang. The design of the study used cross sectional. The population in this study was all parturition mothers who were in the medical records of Panti Waluya Hospital Malang in January-May 2021. The sampling technique in this study used Simple Radom sampling, obtained 55 samples that met the inclusion criteria (ie data in the medical record). The study was carried out at the Panti Waluya Hospital in Malang in May 2021. The instrument used observation sheet. The data taken came from secondary data, namely the patient's medical record. The independent variables of the study were maternal age, gestational age, employment status, parity, disease history, income, insurance, education, delivery distance. The dependent variable of the study was caesarean section. The data analysis used Fisher exact test and logistic regression test. The results showed that history of disease and delivery interval had a significant correlation with delivery, and the variable that was the determinant of CS delivery was history of disease (p=0.012; OR=8.463). It is necessary to carry out routine ANC for pregnant women, in order to avoid risk factors for childbirth by caesarean section

Hemodialysis is one of the vital management options for end-stage renal disease (ERDS) patients. Adequate hemodialysis can make a good quality of patient life. Hemodialysis patient commonly has experienced intradialytic complications, and it can be life-threatening. ESRD patients who are not compliant with fluid and dietary restrictions raised Intradialytic weight gain (IDWG), and blood pressure leads to intradialytic complications. This study aimed to determine factors associated with intradialytic complications among undergoing hemodialytic patients in Blitar. The data analysis used Multiple linear regression analysis to ascertain the possible factors that influence intradialytic complications. The sample was 55 hemodialysis patients with intradialytic complications. Based on this study, the Spearman Rank correlation test results, the factor that correlated with intradialytic complications was patient compliance with a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.016 with a correlation coefficient value of -0.26. The correlation coefficient in the results above was negative, namely -0.263 so that the correlation between the two variables was not unidirectional. The higher compliance showed, the lower the intradialytic complications. The odds ratio (OR) value between adherence and the occurrence of intradialytic complications was 3,229. That value meant that patients with kidney failure who do not comply with the diet will have a 3-fold risk of intradialytic complications compared to patients with renal failure who comply. This result emphasizes the need for constant motivation and education at frequent intervals to ensure better adherence

Preeclampsia is a condition when hypertension and proteinuria occurs after 20 weeks of pregnancy. The exact cause of preeclampsia is currently unknown, but many factors influence the occurrence of preeclampsia, especially the age factor. This study was aimed to determine the correlation between maternal age and the incidence of preeclampsia. This study was analytical survey designed with retrospective study method. From Aura Syifa hospital, 142 medical records in of pregnant women in 2017 were taken 105 samples by using simple random sampling technique. The result of this study indicated that delivered mothers who were in reproductive age (20-35 years old), 25.8% of them had preeclampsia and 31,1% had severe preeclampsia. The data analyzed by suing chi-square correlation and the result was Ï (0.00) < α (0.05) which meant that there was a correlation between maternal age and the incidence of preeclampsia. It would be better for couples planning pregnancy in healthy reproductive age for minimize the risk of preeclampsia

Female students who live in Islamic boarding schools are a population at risk for genital infections. The practice of personal/vaginal hygiene or menstrual hygiene is a form of maintaining reproductive health by preventing genital infections. Some bad behavior related to vaginal hygiene is a trigger factor for female genital infections. This study aimed to examine the factors behind the behavior of preventing genital infection in female students in the Islamic boarding school environment. This study was a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study was all female students. Determination of the sample in this study was carried out randomly with the number of subjects determined based on the rule-of-thumb sample size for path analysis, namely a minimum of 100 subjects, a minimum of 5 subjects per parameter, and a minimum of 10 subjects per variable. So that a sample of 150 female students was determined. The independent variable in this study was the behavior of preventing genital infection, while the dependent variables was: (1) behavioral intentions, (2) correct knowledge about behavior, (3) perception of the meaning of behavior, (4) environmental barriers, (5) experiential attitudes, (6) instrumental attitudes, (7) injunctive norms, (8) descriptive norms, (9) perceived behavioral control, (10) self-efficacy. This study indicated that infection prevention behavior can be determined by the behavior of female students prevention of genital infection is not influenced by the behavior of environmental barriers. Good knowledge and skills did not affect female students in taking measures to prevent genital infections; therefore, it was necessary to develop a more heterogeneous number of respondents and a questionnaire that can be understood by respondents so that an integrated behavioral model can become a reference to change behavior, and use methods that can improve their behavior

Female-genital infection in adolescence causes discomfort and may develop into a serious issue. Islamic boarding school female students are a population at risk of getting a female-genital infection due to the lack of hygiene practice sum up with the lack of parental control. Prevention of female-genital infection through behavioral change is mandatory but the changes in behavior are not an effortless thing. There are underlying constructs that predispose the behavior as described in the Integrated Behavior Model (IBM). Dealing with those constructs will facilitate the change of behavior. However, there was no exact tool for assessing construct that determines the female-genital infection preventive behavior, especially for Islamic boarding school female-student population. That was the major reason for the Female-genital Infection Preventive Behavior Tool (FgIPBT) development. We generated a tool based on IBM constructs and the Indonesian Society of Dermatology and Venereology (INSDV) recommendation regarding genital infection preventive behavior. A deductive method of item generation, expert judgments, and internal consistency test involved 143 female-student from 3 different Islamic boarding schools was done to generate a valid and reliable tool. Total 177 valid items composed on the first phase and two different arrangements of items has subjected the reliability on the second phase. Items that were arranged based on behavior items and assessed every IBM construct (Type 1) had higher reliability value than items that were arranged based on IBM construct for all behavior items (Type 2). Assessing different construct for each point of behavior at the same time generate more reliable data than assessing the same construct for all points of behavior

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is one of the comorbid diseases commonly found on COVID-19 infected individuals and causing the most death. In the pandemic era, DM patients are needful to execute the care management by themselves due to the social restriction as a part of transmission control. This study aimed to assess the self-care behavior of DM patients during the COVID-19 pandemic era in Manggarai Regency who still carry out various traditional ceremonies even during the pandemic. This study was a quantitative descriptive study. The research data get by the SDSCA (The Summary of Self-Care Activities) questionnaire developed by the General Service Administration (GSA) Regulatory Information Service Center (RISC). This study attends from January to March 2021, with 88 respondents have participated after being recruited using purposive sampling and inclusion criteria. Among the 88 respondents, the respondents were most compliant with eating restrictions on sugar-contained food such as cake, chocolate, biscuit, and ice cream diet. Respondents did not restrict themself to consume carbohydrate contained foods. Self-care behavior is most important to DM patients in the pandemic era due to the social restrictions creating the hesitancy among the patients to come to the health care facilities. Moreover, when DM patients are more prone to develop severe symptoms of covid-19. Health professionals have to improve the health education to the patients by emphasizing the importance of exercise, diabetic foot care, and routine blood sugar monitoring so that the patients are not only focused on dietary management and medicine
