Kelayakan dan Strategi Pengembangan Usaha Beras Cimanuk Melalui Peningkatan Mutu Oleh PD Jaya Saputra Kecamatan Cimanuk Kabupaten Pandeglang Provinsi Banten
PD Jaya Saputra as a Small Medium Enterprise (SME), which produces Cimanuk rice, wants its product to become Pandeglang’s pride icon. Cimanuk rice has a good quality, so it can penetrate not only the national but also the international market (export). The objective of this study are (1) Identify and evaluate the condition of SMEs PD Jaya Saputra, (2)Analyze the feasibility of business development through quality improvement, and (3) Prepare alternative strategies appropriate for their business development through quality improvement.The data needed for this study originated from the primary and secondary data. The data analysis was performed through adescriptive methods, namely SWOT, QSPM, and feasibility analysis through assessment criteria the PBP, Net B/C, BEP, NPV, and IRR. IFE matrix resulted in a score of 2.688, EFE matrix of 2.758, and the IE matrix, all of which are in quadrant V, namely growth/stabilization quadrant, which means that the firm must conduct strategies for market penetration and development. The recommended strategies are applying rice production technology to obtain quality, improving and maintaining quality in accordance to the rice grades and quality regulation to maintain consumer’s loyalty, improving quality of human resources in production and marketing section through informal channels. The results of the eligibility criteria analysis showed the BEP 84.866, PBP 32 months, Net B/C 1.044, a positive NPV 765.395, and IRR 17%. Kelayakan dan Strategi Pengembangan Usaha Makanan Ringan pada PD Sinar Berlian di Jakarta Barat
The food industry is generally growing with the increase of production capacity is the addition of engine capacity, the addition of human resources caused by the existing production capacity is not sufficient. The purpose of this study were to (1) analyze the feasibility of trading; (2) analyze and evaluate the factors that affect the internal and external business continuity trade; (3) Recommending priorities marketing strategies. The method of collecting the data in this study were collected through observations and interviews. Feasibility study with the financial ratio approach, such as PBP, B/C Ratio, NPV and IRR. The data obtained were analyzed by using the matrix IFE, EFE, IE, SWOT and QSPM. The result of the financial feasibility analysis shows that the PBP for 2.3 years (approximately 27 months), net B/C ratio of more than one (1.75), at a discount rate of 9.2% obtained a value of Rp747.79 millions positive NPV, IRR amounted to 33.60% higher discount rate as required by 9.2%. This indicates that PD snack business. Sinar Berlian financially feasible. Results of identification and evaluation of the factors of strategy, IFE values obtained at 2.776 and 2.677 for the value of EFE. Prospek Usaha Bagi Hasil Penanaman Jati Unggul Nusantara (Studi Kasus Pada Koperasi Perumahan Wanabhakti Nusantara di Kabupaten Bogor)
Planting crops clones Jati Unggul Nusantara (JUN) in the area of Bogor Regency is a business model that was developed for the Koperasi Perumahan Wanabhakti Nusantara (UBH-KPWN), involving investors, landowners, community manager of the plant (farmers) and the village officials. The activity aims to distribute capital to the community, land use has not been productive, providing a source of teak wood supply for industry and as a provider of employment for the community. JUN investment in Cogreg Village, Parung District, Bogor regency, has been carried out since three years ago (starting in 2007). Offsetting JUN plants will be harvested in the fifth year (year 2012), promising to five parties, will receive revenue sharing from the sales value of timber harvest JUN. JUN three years old plant in Bogor regency, totaling 6.075 trees, potential measurements in a sampling plant 2.5% of the total population. The result of the potential crop average diameter of 0.11 m/tree and average branch free height 4.74 m/tree, calculate the average volume of 0.044 m3/tree or 44 m3/ha, bringing the total potential of the plant three years 266.28 m3. Appropriate considering the growth potential and risk of death of plants, the projected average volume increment 0.021 m3/year or 21 m3/ha/year. Harvest prospects in the fifth year calculated in the range 86 up to 100 m3/ha, or an average of 91 m3/ha. Base on projection teak wood basic sale prices (sortiment A1 tipe D quality P - M), in the fifth year from Rp2,135,000 up to Rp2,408,000. So the prospect of selling the timber JUN between Rp988.630.584 up to Rp1.462.925.329, or an average selling of Rp1.279.294.179. Based on the prospect for timber harvest and JUN timber sale values, then the appropriate financial analysis (NPV, IRR, and B/C) is very reasonable business activities are managed. Tingkat Penerapan Manajemen Mutu pada Usaha IKM Chide Wrought Iron Design
Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) is one of a growing economic activity and income real contribution to society. There are variety of products, qualities level and quantities they made. SMEs with good quality product and affordable price is choosen by society. This research is aimed to identify the level of quality managemet applications in SMEs. Data collection techniques with census method, using the tools of the questionnaire is enclosed with a Likert scale (1-5) in the form of verbal categories strongly agree-strongly disagree. Data were analyzed descriptively to look at consumer perceptions of the statements in the questionnaire with the Technique Criteria Range. To find out the company\u27s performance using the BSC. The research showed that the quality management has been perceived to be well implemented by company owner, employee, consumer and distributor. The result and analysis for ChiDe Wrought Iron Design using BSC method show: (1) financial aspect is healthy showed by rentability, liquidity and solvability ratio above 100%; (2) customer perspective showed from enterprise capability to maintain customer 8 out of 13 (61,5%) has been loyal for 3 years; (3) internal business process is quite good from stand poin of innovation capability and operation. After sale service were not carried out carefully; (4) organization learn and growth is stated by employees satisfaction is quite good (96%). As small as ChiDe Wrought Iron Design SMEs ISO 9000 seems not important to be implemented, basic reason for the thought are the consumer doesn’t require ISO 9000 certifications as guarantee for good quality. Kelayakan Usaha Budi Daya Rumput Laut Kappaphycus Alvarezii dengan Metode Longline dan Strategi Pengembangannya di Perairan Karimunjawa
The most widely cultivated seaweed in aquatic Karimunjawa is Kappaphycus alvarezii, because low venture capital, high market demand, low-cost production technology, production cycle is short, post-harvest handling is easy, and simple as well as market share is still open. This study aims to (1) Evaluate the feasibility of seaweed cultivation; (2) Identify factors that influence internal and external business seaweed cultivation; (3) Develop appropriate strategies in business development efforts to the cultivation of seaweed. Financial data were analyzed according to the criteria value NPV, B/C ratio, IRR, PBP, and BEP. Identification of environmental factors was evaluated by IFE dan EFE matrix, mapped to the IE matrix to view the company\u27s position. Strategy formulation with SWOT and QSP matrix. The result of feasibility analysis showed that seaweed cultivation efforts with longline method financially profitable and feasible. This was indicated by a positive NPV value of 30.81 million rupiah; B/C ratio (2.69), IRR (47.58%); PBP 1.61 years; BEP 13.23 million rupiah or sales of 1,474 kg of dried seaweed. With a total score value of the internal-external matrix of 2.52 and 2.83. The combination of these two values indicates that the position of the business lies in V cells or growth strategies. The most appropriate strategies are the empowerment of members and business groups to increase their business, and increased cultivation of technical skills for the improvement of product quality. Tingkat Penerapan Manajemen Mutu pada UMKM Pembenihan Udang di Jawa Timur
Shrimp is one of the leading commodities of the fisheries. Quality seed is one of the critical success factors of the cultivation so that the business activities of hatchery hatcheries should adopt the technique in accordance with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and apply a quality management of seed of the Good Fish Breeding mode (CPIB) or Good Hatchery Practices (GHP). The aim of this thesis include (1) knowing the level of implementation of quality management in small to medium (SME’s) shrimp hatchery in and (2) analyze the relationship between the level of implementation of quality management on firm performance. Location of the research conducted on shrimp hatchery units located in the districts of Situbondo and Banyuwangi, both who have or have not passed the certification mode of CPIB. Data collection methods include interviews and observation. Level of implementation of quality management in shrimp hatcheries in both East Java that has been certified or not, is at a fairly high level, at three different levels, namely level of Quality Control (QC) Statistics (42.9%), Quality Assurance or QA (21.4%) and 35.7% at the level of implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM). From all levels of implementation of SQC quality management, QA and TQM, there are four predominant factors that could affect the company\u27s performance, namely: cost efficiency, the percentage of undergraduate (S1), human resource (HR) Percentage training per year and the percentage of customer complaints. Policies need to be taken to the level of TQM is to conduct QC management so that the dominant factors that can provide high business performance can be maintained, to the level of SQC is to conduct QC activities are synchronized with the training activities is appropriate, considering the level of training at this level relatively very low. While the policy needed to be taken to the level of QA is the need to improve the quality fry strived to meet the established minimum standards and will be even better if the feasibility of obtaining certification so it will be able to improve the competitiveness of selling fries, both quantity and price. Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Penerapan Cara Produksi yang Baik dan Standar Prosedur Operasi Sanitasi Pengolahan Fillet Ikan di Jawa
In order to increase quality and safety of fish fillet products, Directorate General of Fisheries Product Processing and Marketing, Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, introduced Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) of fish fillet to the industry in Indonesia, including in Java. Recently, some processor who already applied GMP and SSOP do not continue the application of GMP and SSOP. Due this situation, this report is to find all factors that influence continuity application of GMP and SSOP processes of fish fillet and to see the recent condition of application of GMP and SSOP in fillet processing plants which do not continue (BM). Processing and analyzing the data using description method and pre-requisite analysis. The respondents of this research are 26 fish fillet processing plants in Java which are divided into 15 fish fillet processing plants that do not continue the application of GMP and SSOP (BM) and 11 fish fillet processing plants that are still continuing the application (LM). The factors that influence continuity application of GMP and SSOP in fish fillet processing plants that do not continue the application (BM) can be divided into internal factors which are lack of education (73%), and lack of experience (100%), external factors which are lack of government policies in socialization (66,66%), lack of portable water (87%) and ice supply (67%), lack of cold chain system facility (74%), lack of government policies in training (60%), monitoring (80%), lack of low enforcement (86%), no market requirement (100%), and characteristic of innovation factors which are no relative advantages in implementing GMP and SSOP (86,67%), no compatibility (80%), and the complexity of GMP and SSOP (73,33%). Base on pre requisite analysis, the status of GMP and SSOP in 15 fish fillet processing plants that do not continue (BM) the application is very bad as shown in high minor and mayor failure, and also serious and critical failure more than tolerance level. In order to support the application of GMP and SSOP in 15 fish fillet processing plants that do not continue the application (BM), it is suggested to increase the frequency of socialization, training, monitoring and technical counseling in special locus, facilitating water and ice supply, enforce the GMP and SSOP label in fisheries products in domestic market, and increasing education regarding the importance of GMP and SSOP application in fish fillet industry to the publi
Bantuan dan Kemitraan Terhadap Tingkat Pendapatan UMK Pengolahan Hasil Perikanan di Indonesia
Micro and Small Enterprises has a strategic role in national economy, especially in employment absorption, increase incomes and generate economic activity. Since the economic crisis hit Indonesia in 1998, the role of MSEs increased sharply, as it turns out large-scale efforts many are fragile and fall caused by the economic crisis. The general objective of this study is to examine the outcome of the policy and provide input for decision-makers about the MSEs. Specifically this study aims to (1) Identify the types of assistance/aid and partnership provided by the government, private and cooperative services to MSEs, (2) Perform analysis of income levels MSE, (3) Perform analysis of the effect of assistance and partnership on income of MSEs. The analysis performed are descriptive analysis by cross tabulation and statistical inference by using the mean difference test, using analysis of variance (ANOVA), after performing the test assumptions. In general, from the 1.785 sample there are 48,29% of MSEs male entrepreneurs, and aged between 30-59 years (82,02%), with the majority of education is below elementary school (74,73%). MSEs receiving assistance/aid and partnership, its production capacity distributed at the level of 51-75 percent and 75% upwards. There is a 72,92% of MSEs that received assistance and partnerships who have difficulty. The results of inferential analysis indicate that there are significant differences at average benefit without treatment with MSE receiving assistance/aid and the MSE with partnership, but there is no significant difference between MSE without treatment with MSE with both receiving assistance/aid and partnership

Study of Shoes Small Middle Enterprises (SME) Quality Management is held through case study in PD. Anugerah Hero Ciomas Kabupaten Bogor. This study is intend to: (a) knowing about applied level of quality management system in PD. Anugerah Hero, (b) knowing activities done by PD. Anugerah Hero to guarantee it’s product quality, (c) evaluating product quality performance, (d) analyzing how quality cost performance in PD. Anugerah Hero. Determining quality management system practices held by matching quality attempt applied to characteristic quality management system as conducted by Muhandri and Kadarisman. Identification of quality activity held according the Juran Trilogy. Evaluating quality performance held for number of defect product, number of reject/return product, Finishing time late and quality cost analysis. Result of study indicating that the most fit quality management system applied if compared to characteristic of quality management system applied according to Muhandri and Kadarisman is Foreman Quality Control. The activities of quality management held is including; knowing the needs and consumer terms, and designing process and instrument for shoes making for quality planning aspect. The quality management aspect is by compiling standard and specification, using model, mold and pattern and also doing sortation qualitatively by visual inspection. The quality improving aspect is only for doing benchmarking in relatively large shoes industry and duplicating a new model from “mall”, books and magazine. The number of products rejected, especially by abroad customer is ranged between 11,1% – 17,7% by average 15,9 of the number of order. Slowness of finishing time due to the order is on average of 3,8 days or 7,0% compared to order time. The number of order late is about 50%. The quality cost identified is only external failed cost for down grading, is that, about Rp50.415.000 for 11 order in 2007, quality cost index due to the selling omzet is about 2,37
Swa-Periksa Pengelolaan Budaya Perusahaan Menggunakan Sistem Audit Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia Model General System Audit
This article is about self assessment of corporate culture management, using system of audit for Human Resource Management (HRM) GSA model. The assessment process was done in two stages. The first stage was developing a customized assessment questionaire (tool), using semantic differential scale, involving some senior staff through Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The second stage was application of the developed devices (questionaire) to assess corporate culture management, involving a group of 30 respondents. Data obtained from the questionaire was analysed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), and the result was plotted into the Cartesius diagram for interpretation. The output of the assessment was an audit report, which was prepared using the formula: True, Valua, Attractive, Policy, Location, Activity, Clauses, Evidences, Scale of Criticality, Recommendation and Time schedule (TVA PLACES ART) as a guide in the report writing. The audit report was the output of the self assessment and to be used as reference in improving HRM policy and its implementation in general and corporate culture in particular. Finally, an opinion survey was conducted to verify if the audit model was perceived to be important, beneficial, practical, feasible, and recommendable for application in the company. The result of the survey indicated that 14,2% of respondents disagree, 25,5 neutral, and 59,3 agree. These statistic figures indicate that the audit model was agreed to be important, useful, practical, feasible and recommendable for application in companies.
