PEDAGOGICAL COMPETENCE OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION TEACHERS IN INCREASING STUDENT LEARNING MOTIVATION AT SMP BINA MUDA BANYUASIN DISTRICT
The purpose of this study was to describe and analyse the pedagogical competence of PAI teachers in increasing student learning motivation at Bina Muda Banyuasin Junior High School. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of field research. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that PAI teachers at Bina Muda Banyuasin Junior High School have implemented pedagogical competencies quite well, such as mastery of learner characteristics, classroom management, and the ability to design interesting learning strategies. Students\u27 learning motivation is shown through the desire to learn, encouragement of future goals, and involvement in interactive and fun learning activities. Thus, it can be concluded that the pedagogical competence of PAI teachers has an important and strategic role in increasing students\u27 learning motivation. PAI teachers who have good pedagogical competence will be able to create an effective and highly motivating learning process for students\u27 spiritual and academic development
THE USE OF PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING METHODS TO IMPROVE STUDENT’S CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS
This research is a class action research; the subject is the students of class XI IPS 1 MAN 1 Bojonegoro, which amounted to 35 students. This research was conducted four times a meeting and as many as two cycles, each cycle one face-to-face meeting. The data collection methods used were tests, observation, and documentation. The test is used to measure students\u27 critical thinking skills using tests. To process quantitative data using scoring techniques from students\u27 individual scores, the average score of research subjects, and the percentage of classical completeness. The results showed that applying the Problem-Based Learning method made many contributions, including the ease of students in understanding dress code material because of its fun and relaxed delivery. Most students have been able to understand the adab of dressing, but some obstacles lie in student boredom related to learning methods so far; it turns out that during the learning process in class XI US1, the teacher still uses conventional methods, in the form of lectures and assignments so that it has an impact on the condition of students who become passive and bored because learning seems monotonous
THE CHALLENGES ASSOCIATED WITH INSTRUCTING ENGLISH FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES (ESP) TO MIDWIFERY STUDENTS:: A CASE STUDY WAS CONDUCTED AT STIKES ABDURAHMAN PALEMBANG
The challenges encountered by instructors while delivering English for Specific Purposes (ESP) instruction to midwifery students enrolled at STIKES Abdurahman Palembang, Indonesia. The research methodology utilized in this investigation was qualitative in nature, employing a case study approach. The present investigation involved a purposive sampling technique to select two English for Specific Purposes (ESP) instructors who teach D3 Midwifery students at STIKES Abdurahman Palembang as participants. The data were collected via interviews and subsequently analyzed and presented descriptively utilizing thematic analysis. The study\u27s results revealed that instructors encountered various obstacles while teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP). These challenges encompassed the following: a) Improving the proficiency of students in midwifery owing to inadequate knowledge, b) administering the classroom, and c) instructing English for Specific Purposes (ESP) in accordance with the institution\u27s syllabus
IMPLEMENTATION OF CONSTRUCTIVE THEORY IN PAI LEARNING DESIGN IN SUMBAWA BESAR 2 STATE HIGH SCHOOL
Various efforts have been made to improve the quality of education. As well as to prove that the meaningfulness of PAI learning in the learning process is very closely related to the theory used. One of them is by implementing constructivist theory in learning. As was done at SMA Negeri 2 Sumbawa Besar in the PAI learning process. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of constructivist learning theory in PAI learning design, and to find out the meaningful implications of constructivist learning theory in the PAI learning process at SMA Negeri 2 Sumbawa Besar. This study uses a field research method that is descriptive qualitative, with the research location at SMA Negeri 2 Sumbawa Besar. Data collection was carried out by observation, interview and documentation methods. The object of research in this research is the implementation of constructivist theory in Islamic Islamic education learning design, while the research subjects are 4 Islamic Islamic education subject teachers and students of class X and XI. And to analyze the data obtained from the research results, the author uses data analysis techniques consisting of of the three flow of activities namely data reduction, data presentation and verification or drawing conclusions. From the results of the analysis it was concluded that, the planning of constructivist theory in the design of PAI learning has been realized in the PAI learning process that has been carried out even though there are still obstacles when the learning process takes place. In which there are already 4 learning steps with a constructivist approach, namely the apperception stage, the exploration stage, the discussion stage and concept explanation. Evaluation of learning by the teacher still tends to prioritize the assessment of results in the cognitive domain of students through doing exercises that have been prepared by the teacher
IMPLEMENTATION OF VALUE EDUCATION IN ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION LEARNING
This study aims to discuss value education through Islamic religious education at SMK Syahida. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The research subjects were selected by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques include: observation, interview, and documentation. The research subjects were the principal, Islamic Religious Education Teacher, Student Council Advisor, Student Council Management, and Students. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data display, and verifying. The results and discussion of this research show that value education implemented at SMK Syahida creates students who obey worship, are democratic, protect the environment, and are tolerant in MA, SMK, and SMA environments. This is evidenced by data verification with a data assessment rubric, that from the results of observations, interviews, and documentation show that value education at Syahida Vocational School is through Islamic religious education. This study concludes that value education is very appropriate through Islamic religious education
STRATEGIES FOR MANAGING SCHOOL OPERATIONAL ASSISTANCE FUNDS IN OVERCOMING COMMUNICATION DISTORTIONS IN FINANCING AT SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 3 PRABUMULIH
This study aims to analyze the Strategy for Managing School Operational Assistance Funds (BOS) by the Principal in Overcoming Distortions in Financing Communication at Prabumulih State Senior High School 3, South Sumatra Province. This research is a qualitative research, In collecting data, researchers used several collection techniques, namely, in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman Model which consists of three stages, namely: data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions or verification. Based on the results of the research in this study, in order for the implementation of the financing of the School Operational Assistance Fund (BOS) in overcoming the distortion of financing communication, several aspects need to be carried out, including; aspects of flexibility in the use of BOS funds, aspects of effectiveness in the use of BOS funds, aspects of efficiency in the use of BOS funds, aspects of accountability in the use of BOS funds and aspects of transparency of BOS funds
THE IMPACT OF USING TIKTOK MEDIA ON THE CHARACTER OF CARING AND RESPONSIBILITY IN STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF SHARIA AND LAW, RADEN FATAH STATE ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY PALEMBANG
The purpose of this study was to analyse the use of Tik Tok social media on students of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang. To analyse the character of caring and responsibility and to analyse the impact of using Tik Tok social media on character in students of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang. This research uses qualitative research methods. Data obtained using interviews, observation and documentation were analysed using data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the use of the Tik Tok application at the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang is quite large, where the users are students. The use of the Tik Tok application as a medium to get entertainment. The impact of using the Tik Tok application on its use on religious behavior is seen from several behaviours, namely: behaviour towards God, Parents, Self, and behaviour towards the community environment where there isnoso negative and significant effects that can change student behaviour. Students still take all actions in accordance with what is taught by parents and religion. Through the Faculty of Shari\u27ah and Law, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang, it is hoped that it will be able to become a forum for creativity and maintain the behaviour of adolescents from the negative impact of social media
ANALYSIS OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS RELIGIOUS EDUCATION TEACHER\u27S PEDAGOGIC COMPETENCE IN CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT
The objective of this research was to analyze The teachers’ Pedagogical competence in curriculum development, the obstacles faced in curriculum development, and how efforts were made to improve curriculum development at a Madrasah in Kalijaga. The Pedagogic competence of Islamic religion teachers has a critical role in implementing the curriculum. Managing Pedagogic competence, especially in curriculum development, becomes a common problem found in realizing learning objectives. This research used a descriptive qualitative method. Observation, interviews, and documentation are the data collection technique. The result of the study describes that the pedagogic competence of PAI teachers at a Madrasah, especially in developing curriculum, syllabus, and lesson plans, is good. Most PAI teachers have made learning devices such as syllabi, an annual program, a semester program, implementation of teaching and learning and teaching, and learning evaluation. IMPLEMENTATION OF CHARACTER EDUCATION IN INTEGRATED ISLAMIC KINDERGARTEN CITY OF PALEMBANG
This study aims to analyze character education in the Integrated Islamic Kindergarten in Palembang and the factors that influence the implementation of character education in the Integrated Islamic Kindergarten in Palembang. This type of research is qualitative research. The data collection technique used interview, observation, and documentation techniques. In contrast, the data analysis technique adopted an interactive pattern developed by Milles and Huberman: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of these findings are that the implementation of character education in the IT Kindergarten in Palembang City is by forming and educating children to become children with character, including parenting patterns (Hadanah), role models, and habituation. Then, the factors influencing the implementation of Character Education are the educational background of teachers, available budget, facilities, infrastructure, the government as a policy maker, and schools, in this case, kindergartens. Parents as the first shaper of the child\u27s character, and the community or environment that reflects the application of culture and national character in everyday life. The success of character education will be triumphant when all elements carry out their respective functions properly
THE EVALUATION OF THE AL-QUR\u27AN SANAD PROGRAM AT THE TAHFIZH TILAWAH AL-QUR\u27AN SCIENCE INSTITUTEAT PONDOK PESANTREN AL-ITTIFAQIAH INDRALYA, OGAN ILIR REGENCY
This study aims to describe the evaluation of the Qur\u27an tahfizh sanad program at the Al-Ittifaqiah Qur\u27an Science Tahfizh Tilawah Institute, which will be studied using qualitative research methods with an evaluative approach. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews and observations. The data were analyzed using the Milles and Huberman model with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and data withdrawal or conclusions to determine the validity of the data using source triangulation. The results of this study found that in terms of input evaluation, students\u27 initial ability must be khatam AL-Qur\u27an without any Qur\u27an memorization selection test. Evaluation of the process of the method has met the standards, the teacher who teaches actively so that the implementation is effective. Then in terms of product evaluation, Of the 58 students who participated in the Qur\u27an tahfizh sanad program, only 3 passed. Compared to the total number of students, this number needs improvement, only approximately 5%
