    This research discusses the transformation of Islamic Religious Education learning in the era of Merdeka Curriculum, focusing on the creativity of Islamic Religious Education teachers at SMAN 2 Lubuk Dalam, Riau Province. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method to describe changes and innovations in teaching Islamic Religious Education. The research subject was the Islamic Education teacher at the school. Data were collected through three main methods: observation, interview, and documentation, to get a comprehensive picture of learning practices. To ensure the validity and credibility of the data, this study used triangulation techniques. The results of the study are expected to provide insight into how Islamic Religious Education teachers adapt and apply creativity in their teaching in accordance with the demands of Merdeka Curriculum or this term is known as differentiated learning

    This research uses a qualitative method with the type of case study approach with research informants namely principals, school administrators, teaching staff, and students. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation and analysed using qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of this study are the implementation of excellence service to internal customers in school administration services at Smp Quranpreneur Indonesia Palembang City needs to be improved again from the aspect of actions taken by school administration personnel in the implementation of excellence service is somewhat less responsive in responding, the level of communication of school administration personnel with students who are still lacking, as well as the unavailability of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for school administration personnel in carrying out their duties. Then for the supporting factors for the implementation of excellence service to internal customers in school administration services at Smp Quranpreneur Indonesia Palembang City, namely the awareness of administrative staff to provide excellent service, the existence of qualified human resources, and the direction and motivation provided. While the inhibiting factors, the school has not provided training or socialisation to improve the implementation of excellence service in administrative services to improve capabilities, there is no facility in the form of a suggestion and criticism box, and there is no SOP (standard operating procedure) to support the implementation of excellence service in administrative services

    This research aims to determine the effect of group investigation learning (X) on the critical thinking abilities (Y) of PAI undergraduate students at Singaperbangsa University Karawang. The research method used a quantitative approach with a relational study type, and the research population was 1140 students with a purposive sampling technique. The research sample was set at 110 students; the instruments used were questionnaires and project-based performance test results. Group Investigation Cooperative Learning, 16% in the low category, 69% in the medium category, and 15% in the high category. So, the cooperative learning group, the Investigation of Islamic Religious Education students, is in the medium category. Students\u27 critical thinking ability is 7% in the low category, 79% in the medium category, and 14% in the high category. So, learning essential thinking skills for Islamic Religious Education students is in the medium category. The R Square value = 0.756; thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of group investigation learning (X) on critical thinking abilities (Y) of PAI S-1 students at Singaperbangsa University Karawang of 75.6%. In comparison, 24.4% is influenced by other variables that are not variables in this research

    This study presents a bibliometric analysis of the scientific literature on "Teacher Readiness in Response to Educational Transformation," using the Scopus database to examine trends, collaborations, and key research themes. The analysis reveals a significant increase in publications since 2018, with a notable peak in 2021, likely due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on education systems worldwide. Central themes include teacher readiness for integrating digital technologies, STEM education, and the challenges of online teaching. The keyword co-occurrence network highlights the close connections between teacher readiness and topics such as ICT, professional development, and early childhood education. Additionally, the country collaboration network shows strong contributions from the United States, Australia, China, and Hong Kong, although global cooperation remains limited. The study also identifies the most active journals, with the Australian Journal of Teacher Education and Journal of Research on Technology in Education being prominent platforms. The findings underscore the growing need for research on teacher preparedness to address the challenges of an evolving educational landscape. Future research should focus on emerging technologies like AI and VR in education, while expanding cross-country studies to ensure a more inclusive understanding of teacher readiness across diverse contexts

    RELIGIOUS MODERATION IN THE IMPRESSION OF THE ACADEMIC COMMUNITY OF STATE ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS COLLEGES LAMPUNG

    This study aims to examine and explain the impression of religious moderation in State Islamic Universities (PTKIN) in Lampung. The research subjects were lecturers and students of Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Raden Intan Lampung and Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Metro Lampung. This research uses a descriptive qualitative-quantitative research design (mix method). The research model used is concurrent embedded or balanced combination models. The information collection techniques used were questionnaires and interviews. Information reduction, information presentation, and information verification techniques were used to assess qualitative data, while statistical information analysis was used to analyse quantitative data. Based on the results of the study, the proportion of respondents who stated "agree" with each of the ideal components of religious moderation shows that the general public\u27s perception of religious moderation at PTKIN can be categorised as quite good. The implementation of religious moderation in PTKIN is necessary because a heterogeneous society cannot be homogenised. This newly implemented policy prioritises all forms of support and efforts to increase the moderation of PTKIN

    Being friendly or communicative is a behavior that is done to show a sense of pleasure in talking, getting along, and cooperating with others. One of the methods that can be applied at school to support communicative character is the culture of smiling,greeting,saluting, politeness, and manners, an Eastern culture that must remain attached to the Indonesian nation. This study aimed to determine the program\u27s implementation to strengthen student character education through 5S activities at100703 Batang Toru Elementary School. This research method uses qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques use observation and interviews, which are then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study show that 100703 Batang Toru Elementary Schoolimplements the 5S program through a self-development program that includes routine activities, spontaneous activities, exemplary activities, and conditioning implemented in subjects and extracurricular activities. This 5S program has been implemented since 2012. The results of this study also show that the benefits of the 5S implementation have shown positive results in creating students\u27 communicative character in the school environment

    THE ROLE OF PARENTAL SUPPORT ON LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN YOGYAKARTA

    One of the important parts of a person\u27s life is an achievement. because the desire to achieve is part of the social motives that a person has. Among the social motives is the motive to achieve because it will be able to improve performance and try to achieve maximum achievement. Achievement in the world of education is a consequence of various interests that connect various factors including family, community, school, peers and the students themselves. This study aims to determine the contribution of parental support to junior high school student achievement. This research design is to reveal various things that are summarized in a construct or dynamics of parental support on achievement. The research subjects were 248 junior high school students in Yogyakarta. Data collection in this study used a qualitative survey method with open-ended question type interviews. The results showed that the contribution of direct social support from the family played the most role in achievement, which amounted to 84.4 percent in the subject, followed by friends by 7.0 percent and teachers by 5.8%. From these results it is clear that the contribution of direct social support from family followed by friends and teachers is the most instrumental contribution to student achievement

    ANALYSIS OF ITEM QUALITY IN ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION SUBJECTS WITH RASCH MODELING

    The role of teachers in schools is expected, especially in evaluating student learning; teachers must pay attention to the quality of the items made. This study aims to determine the instrument\u27s validity or the quality of the item\u27s suitability with the model known as Item FIT (item suitability) on the End of Semester Assessment of Islamic Religious Education. The sample in this study was 216 respondents, using cluster random sampling. The results obtained; 1) the end-of-semester test given is categorized as easy when viewed from the level of student ability above the level of difficulty of the question; 2) the level of student ability is moderate with logit (0) producing very high information. Then, it will produce low information at the low or high ability level. It means that the PAI test produces maximum information when given to individuals with moderate ability. 3) Item fit criteria from 216 students, there are 93% that fit the model (fit model), and these students are said to fit the model because they have met at least two existing criteria; 4) The results of the analysis of the summary table above, 40 items analyzed there are 33 items (83%) that fit the model (fit model). 5) Reliability for Pearson reliability of 0.83 and item reliability of 0.97, it can be concluded that the consistency of student answers is good and the quality of the items in the PAI test is excellent reliability; 6) Gender bias analysis can be seen that 2 of the 40 items are DIF or need to be corrected because they harm certain gender groups

    CHARACTER EDUCATION IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN PALEMBANG CITY: A Study of Curriculum Implementation and Character Learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic

    This study aims to explain the pattern of character education during the covid-19 pandemic and see the learn from home policy on weakening the character of elementary school students in Palembang City. The outbreak of the covid-19 pandemic has forced schools to change the tradition and model of implementing education. Basic education institutions must adapt quickly to the covid-19 emergency. The learn from home (LFH) policy has formed a new habit where teachers must use a full online learning system. The implementation of online learning has had an impact on weakening student character. This phenomenological qualitative research succeeded in finding the fact that the character education curriculum development model in elementary schools during the covid-19 pandemic tends to be unclear. The obstacles experienced by teachers in educating character during the Covid-19 pandemic include the absence of school management support in the form of support for learning tools and the weak understanding of teachers and internet-based learning models. The weakening of character in elementary school students is quite serious as a result of the LFH learning system in the form of the emergence of bad attitudes such as annoyance, sadness, anger, low self-esteem, lack of enthusiasm, lack of discipline as a result of the ineffectiveness of the online learning system

    THE EFFECT OF GROUP COUNSELING WITH A RATIONAL EMOTIVE BEHAVIOR THERAPY APPROACH IN OVERCOMING SMARTPHONE ADDICTION IN CLASS X STUDENTS OF PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL 1 SIPIROK

    Smartphone addiction is becoming a problem for students in the technological era. The teenagers (students) need guidance from adults (teachers or students) in this case. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of group counseling with Rational Emotive Behavior in minimizing smartphone addiction. The background of this study specifically is the topic of research at SMA Negeri 1 Sipirok, namely with 35 students in class X TA. 2022/2023, to test how high the level of smartphone dependence in students before, then after using the REB approach. This type of research is Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) which was carried out in two periods. Data analysis was done quantitatively by observation and questionnaire. According to the findings of this study, the level of smartphone addiction of class X SMA Negeri 1 Sipirok students at the time of the pre-test was 14 students (38.9%), 2 students were in the very high category and 12 students were in the high category. In addition, group counseling was conducted during Cycle I with the REB approach, and during questionnaire filling, 1 student (7.1%) was in the very high category that is still a smart addict, and 8 students were in the very high category in cycle II, there were 4 students (28.6%) in the high class still addicted to smartphones, 2 students in the middle class, 7 students in the low class, and 1 student in the very low class. In this way, it is assumed that the level of smartphone dependence among class X students of SMA 1 Sipirok decreased after the REBT group approach counseling
