    RELIGIOUS COMMITMENT OF CAREER PARENTS AND ITS CORRELATION WITH CHILDREN\u27S RELIGIOUS EDUCATION: A Case Study in Villa Nusa Indah 2 Palembang

    The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between the level of religious commitment of career parents and the method of religious education given to their children in Villa Nusa Indah 2 Palembang Housing. This research uses descriptive correlational quantitative method. Purposive sampling was used in the sampling technique in this study, where there were 20 pairs of career parents and 20 children who were currently in elementary school education who lived in Villa Nusa Indah 2 Palembang. Data collection instruments used questionnaires, Likert scales of religious commitment and children\u27s religious education methods. The data in this study were analysed using descriptive analysis techniques with statistical calculations in the form of frequencies and percentages and correlation analysis techniques using the Pearson Product-Moment correlation formula which was processed with the help of the SPSS version 25.0 for Windows computer program. Based on the results of data processing, there is a significant positive correlation between the religious commitment of career parents and the method of religious education given to children in Villa Nusa Indah 2 Palembang Housing with a correlation coefficient of 0.859. The positive coefficient number shows that the relationship between the two variables is unidirectional (unidirectional type of relationship), thus it can be interpreted that the higher the level of religious commitment of career parents, the more religious education is given to their children

    ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION LEARNING POLICY AFTER COVID 19 IN MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

    The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the education paradigm around the world, including in Indonesia. The focus of this journal is to investigate post-pandemic Islamic religious education learning policies in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and Primary Schools. This study aims to analyse the strategies and policies adopted by these educational institutions in facing the challenges of distance learning and the implementation of health protocols. The research methods used were case studies and in-depth interviews with key stakeholders such as school principals, teachers, parents and students themselves. Data was analysed using a qualitative approach to describe the changes in learning strategies, the role of technology in teaching Islam, and the challenges and opportunities faced in the adaptation process. The results show variations in the implementation of learning policies, depending on technological infrastructure, availability of human resources and parental support. Nonetheless, Islamic religious education remains a top priority with an emphasis on religious and moral values amid the global health crisis. The implications of this study are the need for improved technological infrastructure, more intensive teacher training in online learning and the important role of families in supporting religious education at home

    INTERNALIZATION OF MULTICULTURAL VALUES OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION IN FOSTERING STUDENT TOLERANCE CHARACTER IN SMK NEGERI 3 SINGKAWANG CITY

    This research aims to explore the internalization of multicultural values in Islamic Religious Education in fostering students\u27 tolerance character. This research uses a qualitative approach with observation, interview and documentation methods. Primary data sources; Islamic Education Teacher, Principal, Waka Kesiswaan, BK Teacher and Students of SMK Negeri 3 Singkawang. The analysis technique used; data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing/verification to identify the value transformation process applied. The results showed that the active involvement of students in joint religious activities, initiatives such as Joint Infaq every Friday, and cultural exchange activities has encouraged the creation of mutual respect without religious or ethnic discrimination. In addition, the zero tolerance policy against discrimination fosters an inclusive and harmonious environment at school. This internalization process can also be seen from the students\u27 ability to resolve conflicts effectively and establish constructive cooperation. The implication of this research emphasizes the importance of the teacher\u27s role in transforming multicultural values to strengthen the character of tolerance, which in turn can contribute positively to building social harmony in a plural society

    Globalisation has both positive and negative impacts on the development of pesantren. Pesantren is an Islamic educational institution in Indonesia. The role of Islamic education, especially in pesantren in this era of globalisation, is to be ready to accept and face technological developments and advances that mostly come from foreign countries. Pesantren must make reforms and changes in order to create strong generations, generations that have broad knowledge and are able to develop knowledge derived from the Qur\u27an and Hadith. So as to be able to make a generation that is not only successful in religious matters, but is able to face the advancement of science and technology in the era of globalisation. Pesantren must be able to face the era of globalisation, which was originally a challenge and obstacle to become a golden opportunity for the development of Indonesian society. Of course, pesantren must process and change according to the needs of global society by not leaving old traditions that are still considered good

    STUDENTS\u27 APPRECIATION OFIMPLEMENTATION OF TECHNOLOGY-BASED PAI LECTURESAT SRIWIJAYA UNIVERSITY

    This study aims to determine the appreciation given by students to the implementation of technology-based PAI lectures, especially during the pandemic.  The implementation of PAI lectures, especially at this time, cannot be separated from the utilisation of technological advances. Learning activities like this, of course, cause a lot of problems, both for educators and students. It does not rule out the possibility of complaints arising from students regarding the learning process like this. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method, by providing a closed questionnaire with a Likert scale used for data collection.  The results of this study show that the appreciation given by students to the implementation of technology-based PAI lectures is diverse; including very good, good, quite good, and less good.  The response was very good for the material component of PAI lectures and the ability/competence of lecturers in delivering the material. As for the other eight components, most students stated that it was good, although there were also those who stated that it was quite good with a small number, and there was even one student who stated that it was not good for the component of how to overcome problems that arise in PAI lectures

    This study discusses the concept of prenatal education from the perspective of Islamic education. Prenatal education is an early stage of education that begins during pregnancy, which has an important role in shaping the character and personality of children. From the perspective of Islamic education, prenatal education is considered an important foundation for the spiritual, moral, and intellectual development of children. Islam teaches that attention to children\u27s education begins in the womb, through the behaviour, prayers, and practices of parents, especially mothers. The research method used is a literature review by analysing various literature related to prenatal education and Islamic education. The results of the study show that prenatal education in Islam involves various aspects such as the physical and mental health of the mother, reading the Qur\u27an, prayers, and an environment that supports positive fetal development. Good prenatal education is expected to produce a generation that is noble, intelligent, and faithful

    This research explores the perceptions of upper-class society towards Madrasah as a place for children\u27s education, focusing on Madrasah Tsanawiyah Islamiyah Bumi Agung in Indonesia. The study aims to identify factors influencing their decisions and how Madrasah can enhance their appeal. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data was collected through interviews with parents from the upper class whose children attend the Madrasah. Secondary data was gathered through literature studies. Thematic analysis was used to identify patterns and themes in the data.The findings reveal that several factors influence the perception of upper-class society towards Madrasah. These include the quality of education, educational facilities, reputation and accreditation, the learning environment, educational costs, extracurricular programs, and socio-cultural factors. Despite public schools offering advantages in educational quality and facilities, upper-class families choose Madrasah for reasons related to religious education, moral values, social environment, and family traditions. Madrasah that maintain and improve these aspects are more likely to attract upper-class students

    ANALYSIS OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CURRICULUM IN CLASS VI OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 07 BENGKULU CITY

    This study was to determine and examine the "Analysis of Islamic Religious Education Curriculum grade VI at SD Negeri 07 Bengkulu City. This research was conducted using a phenomenological approach. This type of research is qualitative research that looks and listens more closely and in detail to individual explanations and understandings of their experiences. The phenomenological approach is based on the researcher\u27s interest in examining more deeply the phenomena experienced by key informants. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 07 Bengkulu City. The informants in this study were the principal, Islamic Religious Education teacher, and grade VI students. Data collection was conducted using several techniques, namely; (a) observation; (b) interviews; and (c) documentation studies. To ensure the validity of the data, several efforts were made as follows: (a) extending the data collection period, (b) making continuous and careful observations, (c) triangulating, and (d) involving peers to discuss. From the results of the review in this study, it was found that there is an independent curriculum which is a reference in implementing Islamic religious education subjects, which produces students who have noble character, independence, critical reasoning, creativity, mutual cooperation, a sense of diversity in accordance with the objectives of the independent curriculum integrated in Islamic religious education learning

    THE CONTRIBUTION OF DIGITAL PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITY ACTIVITY STAGES TO TEACHER LEARNING PERFORMANCE COMPONENTS IN JAKARTA HIGH SCHOOLS

    This study aims to analyse the contribution of digital Professional Learning Community (PLC) activity stages to the components of teacher learning performance in Senior High Schools (SMA) in DKI Jakarta. The three aspects of performance studied include: teacher learning performance (jargu), peer learning (jarse), and professional development (karpro). This study used a quantitative method with multiple regression design, involving 133 teachers from seven schools in five areas of Jakarta. The analysis showed that the implementation stage of digital PLC contributed the most to teachers\u27 learning performance by 58.7%, while evaluation affected professional development by 58.2%, and planning contributed to peer learning by 40.6%. Overall, the regression model shows that all the variables of the digital PLC activity stages simultaneously have a significant positive effect on improving teacher learning performance, with a coefficient of determination of 79.2%. These findings highlight the importance of school support in facilitating digital PLC activities to improve teaching quality and teacher professionalism.

    The aim of this research is to examine how multicultural education is incorporated into PAI learning in vocational schools. This research was conducted at SMKN 4 Cilegon City. The research method uses a qualitative approach. The first data collection method was interviews with school principals, PAI subject teachers and students. The second is documentation and observation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The results of the author\u27s research show that multicultural education in PAI learning: 1) Applying knowledge that upholds the principles of love, openness and respect for each other 2) Recognizing religious tolerance among all members of society in the context of multicultural education in school life
