POLE OF INTERNALISATION OF RELIGIOUS CHARACTER VALUES IN YOUTH:: Study on the Assembly of Laskar Lovers of the Prophet and Al-➯ifiyyah Assembly

This study aims to explore the patterns of internalising religious character values implemented by two Islamic assemblies in Pemulutan District, Ogan Ilir Regency: the Laskar Pecinta Rasulullah (PCR) Assembly, which includes both male and female youth participants, and the Al-➯ifiyyah Assembly, which is exclusively for young women. Employing a qualitative field research approach, the primary instrument used was the researcher themselves, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis process included data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The findings indicate that the internalisation of religious character values in the PCR Assembly involves three stages: value transformation (through lectures, Q&A sessions, and da\u27wah video screenings), value transaction (through engagement and dialogue between instructors and participants), and value internalisation (through habituation and socialisation). In the Al-➯ifiyyah Assembly, value transformation is delivered via lectures, readings, and advice; value transactions occur through both direct communication and social media; and value internalisation is achieved through role modelling and consistent practices. Theoretically, this study contributes to expanding the discourse on religious character education within informal Islamic settings. Practically, it offers guidance for religious institutions and educators to develop effective strategies for enhancing youth religious character through structured, contextualised community-based programs

This study aims to explore the implementation of life skills-based education in Islamic Junior High Schools in the Semarang Regency and to identify the associated challenges and potential solutions. Using an exploratory descriptive qualitative design, the research was conducted at selected Islamic Junior High Schools in the region. Data were gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation. The researchers conducted interviews with key informants, observed the implementation of life skills education, documented relevant activities and materials, and ensured the validity and reliability of the data through source and method triangulation. The findings reveal that the implementation of life skills education involves three key stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. During the planning phase, schools developed operational curriculum guidelines, strategic plans, and supporting documents such as syllabi, teaching modules, and instructional materials. In the implementation phase, two schools adopted a variety of strategies including: (1) the Reflect-Practice-Study (RTL) strategy, (2) learner-centered approaches, (3) contextually relevant life skills techniques, and (4) enhanced extracurricular activities as part of a community-based education approach. In the evaluation phase, schools employed the Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) evaluation model to assess program effectiveness. This research provides valuable insights for schools and policymakers on the importance of developing life skills-oriented curricula and underscores the need to continuously evaluate educational programs. It also contributes to the broader understanding of life skills education within the context of Islamic Junior High Schools

This study aims to analyze the implementation of a holistic approach in an Islamic education-based post-marital guidance program and its effectiveness in preventing divorce in the Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir (PALI) District. The holistic approach integrates Islamic values with psychological, social, and economic perspectives in supporting married couples. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving the head of the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA), village heads, religious counselors, and couples who had participated in the program. The findings indicate that the implementation of the holistic approach has improved communication quality, conflict management skills, and couples’ understanding of their marital rights and responsibilities in accordance with Islamic educational principles. However, the program faces several challenges, including limited human resources, restricted implementation time, and low levels of active participation among couples in the guidance process. The contribution of this study lies in its presentation of a comprehensive post-marital guidance model grounded in Islamic values, which can serve as a reference for policy formulation aimed at strengthening family resilience at both local and national levels

ISLAMIC MARRIAGE COUNSELLING MODEL FOR STUNTING PREVENTION AND FAMILY EDUCATION

Stunting prevention requires a preventive educational approach grounded in Islamic values, particularly through premarital family preparation. This study examines an Islamic marriage counselling model implemented by the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) as a form of preventive Islamic education aimed at strengthening family education and reducing the risk of stunting. The counselling model positions premarital guidance (bimbingan perkawinan) as an early dakwah based educational strategy that integrates Islamic teachings, moral responsibility, and practical knowledge for building healthy families. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving religious counsellors, KUA officials, prospective brides and grooms, and related stakeholders in Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir District. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis, including data reduction, categorization, interpretation, and triangulation to ensure validity. The findings show that Islamic marriage counselling functions as an effective preventive tool in Islamic education by embedding values of maslahah, parental responsibility, reproductive ethics, balanced nutrition, and family planning within a religious framework. This approach enhances couples’ awareness and readiness to establish healthy, resilient, and child-friendly families. However, the programme faces challenges related to limited counselling duration, varying levels of understanding of stunting, and insufficient human resources and facilities. The study concludes that strengthening Islamic marriage counselling as a structured educational intervention is essential for effective stunting prevention and sustainable family education

This study evaluates the policy integration of post-marriage counselling within Islamic family education in the District of Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir. The study is motivated by the increasing incidence of domestic conflict and divorce in the region, which highlights the need for preventive and educational family policies. Employing a qualitative research design, this study applies the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model to examine policy implementation and outcomes comprehensively. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis involving key stakeholders, including the Head of the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA), married couples participating in post-marital counselling programs, and local policymakers. Data analysis was conducted through thematic analysis, involving data reduction, categorization, and interpretation aligned with the CIPP components. The findings indicate that post-marital counselling contributes positively to enhancing couples’ understanding of marital rights and obligations, communication skills, and family conflict management from an Islamic educational perspective. Nevertheless, the program’s effectiveness remains limited by short implementation duration, inadequate human and institutional resources, and low participant engagement in follow-up sessions. This study recommends strengthening interactive counselling methods, enhancing facilitator capacity, and improving inter-institutional policy synergy to reinforce Islamic family resilience and ensure the sustainability of post-marital counselling integration

This study aims to map research trends and patterns on competitive advantage and educational branding within higher education institutions, particularly those related to Islamic education, from 2020 to 2025. Using a bibliometric research design, data were collected from the Scopus database with inclusion criteria covering journal articles published in the fields of educational management, Islamic education, and institutional development. A total of documents (to be filled based on actual data) were analyzed through VOSviewer and Bibliometrix to generate visual and quantitative insights regarding co-authorship networks, keyword co-occurrence, citation structures, and emerging thematic clusters. The findings reveal four dominant research themes: strategic branding and institutional competitiveness, globalization impacts on higher education including Islamic institutions, internal branding and human capital development in educational settings, and digital engagement through social media platforms to strengthen institutional reputation. These results highlight the increasing significance of digital branding and social marketing strategies in positioning Islamic educational institutions within a competitive global environment. The study concludes that strengthening competitive advantage requires an integration of external communication strategies and internal organizational capacity, aligned with contemporary branding theories such as brand equity, Resource-Based View (RBV), and Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC). This bibliometric analysis contributes to understanding how Islamic higher education institutions respond to global competition challenges and offers directions for future research and practical policymaking in educational branding

Instilling religious character in students constitutes an essential component of national education goals, particularly within the framework of Islamic education. Conventional approaches often fail to effectively cultivate students’ inner awareness of religious values. This study investigates the revitalization of hypnotherapy-based learning methods in fostering students’ religious character through Guidance and Counseling services in Karawang Regency. Employing a qualitative case study design, the research was conducted in three secondary schools and involved six Guidance and Counseling teachers, forty-five students, and three school principals as supporting informants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation at schools that had implemented hypnotherapy-based counseling services. Thematic analysis was applied through data reduction, categorization, and source triangulation. The findings reveal that hypnotherapy holds substantial potential in facilitating the deeper internalization of religious values, as it engages the subconscious dimension of students. The revitalization of this method includes integrating spiritual values into hypnotherapy scripts, providing intensive training for Guidance and Counseling teachers, and fostering collaboration with parents and local religious leaders. These results suggest that hypnotherapy can serve not only as a psychological intervention but also as an innovative and transformative strategy for character education. The implications of this study contribute to the formulation of Islamic education policies that are more responsive to the emotional and spiritual needs of students

Improving teacher performance is a critical component in efforts to enhance the overall quality of education, particularly for honorary teachers who often face economic disadvantages compared to their civil servant counterparts. This study aims to analyze the contribution of PT Suryabumi Agrolanggeng’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in supporting teacher performance at SDN 20 Talang Ubi. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving school principals, teachers, and company representatives. The findings reveal that the CSR program—which includes financial support, performance-based incentives, and professional development training—has had a positive impact on teacher welfare, motivation, and competence. The allowances provided improved economic stability for teachers, while training sessions organized by the company helped build their professional capacity. However, challenges such as the school’s dependence on external assistance and the lack of long-term program sustainability remain. The study concludes that CSR can serve as an alternative solution to enhance the performance of honorary teachers, provided there is strategic collaboration among companies, schools, and government bodies to ensure program continuity and relevance to educational needs. It recommends integrating CSR efforts into local education policy frameworks to ensure sustainable and long-lasting benefits
