Vlažnost i temperatura vazduha predviđaju broj objava na Tviteru u 10 zemalja – vremenske promene i LIWC psihološke kategorije
There are many indications that weather conditions influence human life and well-being. Some of these indicators, such as the influence of weather on human health, have been explored in detail. On the other hand, the influence of daily fluctuations of different meteorological variables on the human psychological state still remains unknown. We apply combined methods from statistics, psychology, machine learning, and complex networks theory to explore the influence of weather parameters on different psychological categories of Twitter users in ten different countries. Our results show that the temperature, pressure, and humidity are highly correlated with Twitter users’ activity, sense, and affect. Our comparative analysis for different countries shows that the strongest correlation was found for the USA, Italy, and Portugal, indicating differences between countries. However, our results show that the level of activity of Twitter users, described as Post Count, is strongly connected to changes in temperature and humidity in all countries. We use complex networks theory to explore these connections and differences between countries further. Our findings suggest that weather parameters can be used to predict Twitter users’ activity and psychological manifestations, which can be beneficial to marketing and advertising.Postoje mnoge indikacije da vremenske prilike utiču na živote i dobrobit
ljudi.
S druge strane, uticaj dnevnih fluktuacija
različitih meteoroloških varijabli na psihičko stanje čoveka i dalje ostaje
nepoznat.
i vlažnosti u svim zemljama.
Habitus and Higher Order Desires: Going Beyond Determinism
In this paper, I will try to consider the usual allegations of determinism that are directed towards Bourdieu’s notion of habitus from a slightly different perspective. One of the most common arguments found in these types of charges is that Bourdieu unsuccessfully attempted to reconcile objective and subjective aspects of social life under one notion. According to critics, habitus is not a viable solution to structure vs. agency debate simply because it cannot be both determined by social structure and open to contingency of autonomous subjective interpretations of the social world. I will show that this critique of Bourdieu actually is inspired by incompatibilist philosophy which maintains that regarding human action either determinism or free will can be true. However, those sociologists who, in criticising Bourdieu’s understanding of habitus, follow the incompatibilist line of reasoning usually overlook the compatibilist side of this old debate in moral philosophy. In that regard, I will argue that Frankfurt and Taylor’s compatibilist account of second order desires and strong evaluations can help us to better understand how habitus can be determined by environmental social factors and, at the same, time not only foster free will, but also provide a theoretical insight into radical forms of social change

Post-patrijarhalno društvo i autoritet dijaloga – o slobodnoj veri, ateizmu i smislu jezika
The paper is an attempt at understanding the historic nature of the transition to postmodernity, metaphysically reflected in Nietzsche’s words “God is dead”, as it is, in its various aspects, manifested through the form of post-patriarchal society. Post-patriarchal society is interpreted here as an order of values anchored in the empty place previously held by original and ultimate authority. Within the context of the (un)certain end of metaphysics, it is, implicitly, necessary to explore the presuppositions on which religion and the meaning of language are based today. Thus, Nietzsche’s experience of the epoch will be considered in relation to Žižek’s perception of “a genealogical desert between man and God”, which provides a theoretical framework for the reinterpretation of our understanding of the relation between religion, atheism and modernity.
Vajthed o nestajanju
This article deals with the problem of cessation in Whitehead’s philosophy. By focusing on his Process and Reality, but also on his other works, different temporal, mereological and other aspects of perishing are analyzed, with special attention to the annihilation of subjective directness. The article also focuses on the complementary character of creation and cessation, by taking into consideration the various (subjective, objective, superjective or divine) layers of cessation. By relying upon the critical reception of Whitehead, the article formulates certain dilemmas with regard to the status of ceased events or entities, and also in relation to the general possibility and the discreet character of perishing.Članak se bavi pojmom nestajanja u Vajthetodovoj filozofiji.
Takođe, posvećujemo posebnu pažnju komplementarnom karakteru stvaranja i nestajanja,

“And” Anarchitectures
Architecture and Philosophy are so deeply entangled with each other that the “and” between them at once splits and rejoins a single common fabric. This enigmatic joint, and the mutual jealousies, clum-siness, and blindness it puts in motion, has a very long history. The in-terdependency it shapes made possible the emergence of both discourses in Ancient Greece. Architecture appeared as an exemplary theoretical art, yet already subordinated to the discourse of Philosophy that is co-vertly dependent on it. This essay explores the anarchitectural ecology that made both discourses possible, along with the implications for con-temporary theory, and possible unexpected architectures
Architecture and Philosophy: The Failure of Translation
In the connection between architecture and philosophy, the “and” connects and separates at the same time. In classical rhetoric, the concept and technique of ekphrasis stands for this. Ekphrasis means transfer from the medium of sensual experience into the medium of lan-guage and back into the realm of sensual imagination. As will be shown here, however, the “and” unfolds its full functionality only in the failure of ekphrasis. Only in failure does the “and” become the medium of in-tellectuality and sensuality, that is, when the “and” no longer designates a center and a place of symmetry, but when it describes a marginal con-dition, when it shifts the discourse toward the margins, when it clears the space and gives freedom a place. An example of the creative failure of ekphrasis is the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe in Berlin by Peter Eisenman. In the failed translation of sensory and cognitive ex-perience, Eisenman forces architecture and philosophy into a unity that cannot be resolved into a dialectical third. Thus, the memorial creates a void in the center of Berlin that becomes a trigger of sensual and intellec-tual imagination for the unimaginable of the Holocaust
Prospects for the Philosophy of Architecture
Philosophy deals with aspects of architecture that cannot be grasped by the established methods of history of art and theory of archi tecture, and proposes approaches which can help elucidate the key con cepts of architecture, including aesthetic, ethical or social dimensions. My paper tries to sketch the scope of the questions architectural philos-ophy asks and give a short genealogy of its emergence. Furthermore, it argues for a specifically materialist understanding of the way in which architecture and philosophy correlate
Architecture as the Housing of Life: Notes on Heidegger and Agamben
The paper begins with critical engagement with Agam-ben’s interpretation of the limits inherent in Heidegger’s thinking of the relationship between “dwelling” and “building.” The overall argument is that while the positions of Agamben and Heidegger differ they are both marked by a resistance to the presence of an original form of relationality. Acknowledging the presence of what is called anoriginal relationality ne-cessitates a rethinking of both building and dwelling. That rethinking, while indebted to Agamben and Heidegger, is equally a departure from the restrictions their positions impose
The Influence of Temporality: Exhibiting Architecture and the Prospect of Immediacy of Discipline at the Venice Biennale
Abstract: The state of architecture being exhibited and (re)exposed through formats of public display does not present the central framework of architectural production. However, the condition of exhibiting architecture is opening a set of valuable prospects for the discipline – it creates a specific temporal form of displacement for architecture in which a multifaceted set of connotations and views of this discipline is being provoked. The exhibition and its structure
are understood here primarily as a point in time; a specific temporal form with its own tactics of appearance that make the notion of contemporaneity occur.
Taking the context of the Venice Biennale of Architecture as the most prominent platform for global overview of architectural practice, this paper will reflect on today’s relevance of architecture as an aesthetic discipline related not only to designing (projection and production of architecture), but to its post-production (exhibiting architecture) as well. Claiming that architectural contemporaneity is motivated primarily by the urge for actuality – setting the new emerges as the formative property of the discipline. This paper aims to prove that the specific temporal form of exhibition reveals a proposition for regenerating the competency of architectural discipline. This proposition about being present
manifests itself as a prospect for the immediacy of the discipline, as the qualitative evidence of architecture’s immanency to continuously reconstitute and actualize, maintaining the passage to keep its influence in shaping our world
