Filozofiranje sa decom: priručnik
No full textPriručnik je zamišljen kao pomoć nastavnicima prilikom priprema za čas, sa idejom da inspiriše i učenike i nastavnike da promišljaju zadate teme na različite načine. Kao takav, on sledi problemski i razvojni pristup filozofiji: ne treba „naučiti” gradivo, već naučiti šta znači filozofirati. Promišljati, zalaziti iza prikazanog, iza zadatog, iza neposredno postojećeg i datog. Priručnik se sastoji od 20 pojmova. Autori su na sebi svojstvene načine pristupali prikazivanju pojmova dobra i zla, umetnosti, pravde, slobode, sreće, tolerancije, nasilja, istine i laži, života, vremena i prostora, prijateljstva, hrabrosti, boga, prirode i čoveka, mudrosti i znanja, sveta, jednakosti i različitosti, ljubavi i tišine. Priručnik nudi scenarije časova u zamišljenoj učionici, na kojima, zajedno sa autorima i decom, i čitaoci filozofiraju
Nationalization of the 2023 Provincial Elections in Vojvodina
No full textNa širem evropskom planu, pokrajinski ili regionalni izbori obično se smatraju izborima drugog ranga: na njima je niža izlaznost i neretko se javlja posebna politička dinamika koja uključuje gubitak glasova za nacionalne vladajuće stranke, uz porast rejtinga protestnih, regionalnih ili novih aktera. Međutim, to nije slučaj sa izborima drugog ranga koji se održavaju istoga dana kad i nacionalni parlamentarni izbori: u tom slučaju, nacionalna politička dinamika obično preuzima primat i kontaminira rezultate na nižem nivou glasanja. To je upravo slučaj sa izborima za Skupštinu Vojvodine, koji su poslednji put održani samostalno, bez glasanja za Narodnu skupštinu ili predsednika Republike istog dana, davne 2004. godine. Autor će u radu pokazati da faktori poput datuma izbora i izbornog sistema utiču prvo na ponašanje izbornih aktera, a zatim i na nacionalizaciju izbornih rezultata i njihovo preslikavanje na pokrajinski nivo, te da je to bio slučaj i na izborima održanim u decembru 2023.On a wider level, provincial or regional elections in Europe are usually considered second-order elections: they have lower turnout and often a special political dynamic that includes a loss of votes for national ruling parties, with an increase in the ratings of protest, regional or new actors. However, when second-order elections are held on the same day as national parliamentary elections: in that case, national political dynamics usually take precedence and contaminate the results at the second-order elections. This happened in the case of the elections for the Assembly of Vojvodina, which were last held independently, without voting for the National Assembly or the President of the Republic on the same day, back in 2004. The article will show how factors such as the date of the election and the electoral system influencethe behavior of electoral actors, the nationalization of election results, and their transfer to the provincial level, and that this occurred in the elections held in December 2023
“Normalcy” in Behavioral Philosophy and in Spiritual Practice
No full textThis paper introduces the concept of behavioral philosophy, discusses its relationship to philosophical counseling and psychotherapy, and focuses on the concept of normalcy as the normative foundation for a broader discussion on pathology versus philosophical dysfunctionality in life. Following the starting definitions, the argument proceeds to considering how normalcy as a normative foundation of both behavioral philosophy and philosophical counseling and of psychotherapy (along with pathology and pathologization) plays a role in the perspective of behavioral self-improvement sought by behavioral philosophy and by psychotherapy (for various reasons, depending on the psychotherapeutic school and methodology). The author concludes that normalcy, rather than pathology or mental disorder, is the focal concept to discuss in order to understand the role of spirituality and spiritual conviction and belief within the context of therapeutic change, whether it is interpreted philosophically or strictly psychotherapeutically

No full textThis paper spells out the ways in which we need to be pluralists about “human nature”. It discusses a conceptual pluralism about the concept of “human nature”, stemming from post-essentialist ontology and the semantic complexity of the term “nature”; a descriptive pluralism about the “descriptive nature” of human beings, which is a pluralism regarding our self-understanding as human beings that stems from the long list of typical features of, and relations between, human beings; a natural kind term pluralism, which is a pluralism that concerns the choices we have in deciding how to apply the kind term “human”; and an explanatory pluralism that results from the causal complexity of life. Because of the complexity of being human, which gives rise to these pluralisms, being human is, the paper claims, a kaleidoscopic affair, and one far from concerning the life sciences only.Ovaj rad opisuje načine na koje treba da budemo pluralisti u pogledu „ljudske prirode“. Forming Connections between Security Sector Reform and Sustainable Development: The Potential of the Human Security Paradigm
No full textMany interlinkages already exist between security and development, despite the fact they traditionally maintained separate bodies of literature and compartmentalized presence in policymaking. This article seeks to provide guidance on how to bridge the gap between the two. It focuses on the nexus between Security Sector Reform (SSR) and Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG-16 devoted to effective, accountable and inclusive institutions. It argues that the human security paradigm provides the most rewarding approach for bridging the gap between these two, as it centres the focus on the human element of these two endeavours. It first provides an overview of the security-development nexus, followed by a discussion of the commonalities and differences between SSR and SDG-16 specifically, outlining how human security provides a better connection between the two. It concludes that the bottom-up and multistakeholder approaches of the human security paradigm and its context-specific perspective ensure that the SSR missions and attainment of the SDG-16 targets will be more effective and efficient

Resistance as desubjectivation in Foucault
No full textThe article scrutinizes Foucault’s articulations of resistance, arguing against the entrenched understanding that resistance in Foucault is necessarily negative, or impossible. We concentrate on a specific period of his work, situated between the disciplinary phase and the beginning of the 1980s when Foucault began to develop the idea of the aesthetic of existence. We argue that in this period Foucault developed the notion of resistance as agentic, lived and possible, through three interrelated concepts. These are reverse discourse, counter-conduct and the critical attitude, elaborated in The History of Sexuality Vol. 1, the course Security, Territory, Population and the lecture ‘What is Critique?’. The link between these concepts is provided by the effect they produce, captured by Foucault’s understanding of desubjectivation. Our claim is that Foucault reorients his work towards studying subjectivity through articulating resistance as desubjectivation. The main claim of the article is that Foucault not only allows for the possibility of resistance, but that his attempts to calibrate what it may mean to resist led him to fine-tune his understanding of power.
