What does Sublation of Moral Consciousness Mean for the Philosophical Practice? On Institutional Dimension of Therapy in Hegel’s Philosophy
This volume presents the state of the art of philosophical practice worldwide from the perspectives of leading philosophical practitioners, both counselors and institutional consultants. Philosophical practice has developed in different directions in different parts of the world, with the focus in Europe and North America being mostly on client counseling and corporate consultancy, while in Asia it is more community-based and more closely aligned with psychotherapy. In all cases, philosophical practitioners strive to transcend the boundaries of academic philosophy and reach out to the public, to corporations, to the policy makers, to the medical, legal and many other professions. The chapters of this book illustrate both the breadth of philosophical practice and its various methodological directions, while, at the same time, showing how philosophy can be relevant to everyday life, not just for individuals, but for the economy, the government, international organizations, the helping and therapeutic professions, and the educational system. The volume is primarily a companion for students of applied philosophy on all levels, as well as for modern psychotherapists, educational professionals and academics. It is designed to support a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in philosophy and applied psychology, ranging from ancient ethics to philosophical practice sui generis, or to the philosophy of psychology

Serbian-Albanian Relations in Socialist Yugoslavia: Protests in Kosovo and the Burden of Systemic Legitimization
tokom 1968, 1981. i 1988 godine.
Krajnje posledice
In this paper we examine to which extent was egalitarian vocabulary of Yugoslav socialism
able to provide an alternative framework for interpretation of Serbian-Albanian
relations. Our initial hypothesis is that – due to the experimental nature of Yugoslav
self-management socialism, which implied certain compromises with liberal
capitalism – the Yugoslav elite was structurally bound to systematically negate the
social aspect of protests that took place in Kosovo in 1968, 1981 and 1988. Using critical
discourse analysis on daily newspapers (Politika, Večernje novosti and Borba), we
show how the nomenclature treated the complex social-political aspects of the social
uprisings exclusively as a manifestation of nationalism. To the actors involved, this
discursive strategy suggested that nationalism is a common denominator for economic,
political and ethnic equality. Final consequences of these discursive strategies will
be shown through analysis of media coverage of protests in Kosovo and the “Brotherhood
and Unity” meeting that took place Belgrade in 1988, wherein we can see that
there is little space left for non-nationalistic interpretation of any kind of social uprising,
both in media and actors’ perspective
The transactional nature of philosophical counseling
The counseling situation is a kind of exchange. There is an underlying transaction which takes place in counseling as a professional activity. However the nature of this transaction is not simple: it involves not just the transaction of expertise, experience and advice, but also a particular human interaction which makes the transaction part of the identity of both the client and the counselor. The paper explores this particular dialectic of exchange and transactional agreements in psychotherapy
Rod i siromaštvo: Pristup žena i devojčica socijalnim uslugama u ruralnim područjima Srbije
