Absorbing risk related to criminal entrepreneurship
U velikom delu savremene akademske literature o organizovanom
mogao longitudinalno delovati bez korupcije. Koristeći razne oblike
korupcije organizovani kriminal se infiltrira i integriše na ekonomskom
nivou, a svoj profit i moć uvećava u okvirima celokupnog finansijskog i
privrednog sistema.
funkcionalnosti imaju vrednost indikatora prisustva i jačine
organizovanog kriminaliteta. The majority of contemporary authors evaluates organized crime as longitudinally
dependant from corruption. Using various forms of corruption, organized crime infiltrates
and integrates in legal economy, and increases its profits and influence within overall
framework of financial and economic systems.
Organized crime is embedded in logic of profit and, like a multinational corporation, in search
for profit, assesses the risks and analyzes the market. Money laundering is a specific criminal
activity, essential to any criminal activity resulting with profits and by its nature, a part of a
corruption scheme. Money laundering facilitated by corruption is substantial part of organized
crime activities, as it absorbs risks involved with criminal entrepreneurship. The harmful
consequences of manipulating economic interests via criminal activities such as corruption and
money laundering are presented in this article to support the conclusion that these
consequences, functionally, have the value of indicators that point towards presence and
intensity of organized crime

This paper discusses the phenomenon of misleading about “the game
you are in.” Individuals who mislead others in this way draw on the fact that we
rely on social norms for regulating the levels of alertness, openness, and trust we
use in different epistemic situations. By pretending to be in a certain game with
a certain epistemic situation, they can entice others to reveal information or to
exhibit low levels of alertness, thereby acting against their own interests. I delineate
this phenomenon from direct lies and acts of misleading by implication, and
discuss some variations of it. I then ask why and under what conditions it is morally
wrong to mislead others about the game they are in. I distinguish three normative
angles for understanding the phenomenon: deontological constraints, free-riding
on a shared cultural infrastructure, and implicit discrimination against outsiders
and atypical candidates. I conclude by briefly discussing some practical implications.U članku se razmatra fenomen obmanjivanja u vezi sa „igrom u kojoj jesi“. Indi-
Razlikujem tri normativna ugla za razumevanje tog fenomena: deontološka ograničenja, iskorišćavanje zajedničke kulturne infrastrukture i implicitnu diskriminaciju stranaca i atipičnih aspiranata.
Powerful and influential parliament is the cornerstone of the rule of law and the rule of law and one of the basic preconditions for a stable democracy. In this sense, a functioning parliament that effectively monitors and controls the work of the executive, in general and in the process of EU accession particularly, is one of the basic preconditions for preserving the balance of power and the rule of law. However, the ongoing tendencies of increased concentration of power in the hands of the executive and political parties influencing the (in)effective implementation of the basic functions of the parliament in Serbia are threatening to further degrade the position, role and influence of the parliament in Serbia. This paper reviews the power and influence that the parliament has de jure and de facto in the political system of Serbia, with a special focus on its effectiveness in exercising oversight and control over the executive. The paper concludes that it is necessary to reinstate the position and influence of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, as well as substantial and effective exercising of its control function
All in all’ (1 Cor 15:28): Aspects of the Unity between God and Creation according to St Maximus the Confessor
This paper investigates three types of unity between God and creation in the works of St Maximus the
Confessor. Following Maximus’ claim that God is beginning as creator, middle as provider, and end as
goal, this paper argues that, in each of these three stages, God forms different kinds of unity with created beings. I will show that the first type of unity, between God as creator and created beings, is based on the relationship between the Logos and the logoi of beings, in which the Logos serves as the centre of all logoi. The second kind of unity, between God as provider and created beings, is established on divine providence, which causes created beings to converge towardss each other by the singular force of their relationship to God as both their origin and their final goal. Finally, the unity between God as end and created beings, based on full participation, presupposes the ceasing of the natural activities of created beings, and liberation from the constraints of their natural definition or horos
Violenza e Male. Le azioni violente e malvagie in Hannah Arendt
My intention is to reconstruct the origin of these two terms in Arendt in relation to
various parallel endeavors that she took into account as well as neglected. I am interested in parsing out what «belongs» to whom in her reflection on violence and evil (what
comes from Benjamin, Kant, Schmitt and Heidegger?) and what precisely is «new».
When speaking of violence, does Arendt in fact emphasize «something» never interpreted in such a way before
