    Efekat Fuko u sociologiji znanja

    No full text
This research proposes that Foucault’s concepts of power/knowledge and genealogy constitute a significant turning point, not only in philosophical and historical terms but also in the research framework of the sociology of knowledge. The first level of Foucault’s contribution to the sociology of knowledge is widely recognized through the concept of discourse and its dimensions of materiality, power and knowledge. The second level is the analytical grid of power/knowledge itself, which focuses on the relays established between them. The third level, which we consider a crucial area open to further interpretation, is the concept of the history of the present. Although Foucault’s contribution has already been acknowledged in contemporary sociological research of knowledge, our objective is to expand on this recognition by highlighting the significance of genealogy’s dimensions to existing approaches, namely the historical sociology of knowledge and sociology of knowledge approach to discourse.U ovom istraživanju polazimo od hipoteze da Fukoovi koncepti moći/znanja i genealogije predstavljaju ne samo značajan zaokret u filozofskom i istorijskom smislu, već i kada je u pitanju istraživački okvir sociologije znanja. Prvi nivo Fukoovog doprinosa sociologiji znanja prepoznat je u njegovom konceptu diskursa i dimenzijama materijalnosti, moći i znanja.

    What is normalcy?

    No full text
Normalcy is a controversial concept in modern psychotherapy, which suffers from the postmodernist woes of seeking to question the very normative foundations of what is personal and collective wellbeing and thus, also, ‘mental health’. In this paper we reaffirm the concept of normalcy along the Lacanian psychoanalytic lines of socialization and internalization of projections of virtue and the underlying values adopted by the community. In the process, we distinguish between the constitutive elements of individual normalcy, resilience as an attribute of mental health (and, thus, of normalcy) that is associated with the propositional characteristics of individual normalcy, and institutional and social normalcy as parallel to individual normalcy.U ovom zborniku radova sabrani su tekstovi izlagani u sklopu 6. međunarodnog transdisciplinarnog simpozija Bioetika i aporije psihe, održanog od 4. do 6. svibnja 2022. u prostorima Fakulteta filozofije i religijskih znanosti Sveučilišta u Zagrebu i Sveučilišnog centra za integrativnu bioetiku.

Priroda kao mysterium tremendum: esej o poetici Blekvuda, Smita i Kembela

This paper is an attempt to analyze three horror classics – Algernon Blackwood’s “The Willows” (1907), Clark Ashton Smith’s “Genius Loci” (1936) and Ramsey Campbell’s “The Voice of the Beach” (1977) – in which the landscape is envisioned as the abode of supernatural power. The common thread between these stories is the concept of natural scenery which merges and blends the real and unreal, the mind, flesh and the phenomenal world. As landscape is a major component of the plot, rather than mere background to the stories, the authors use it to formulate certain metaphysical ideas about existence and the nature of reality itself. My objective is to historically and epistemologically contextualize these ideas, clarify them and relate them to particular recent developments in philosophy and social theory. My second aim is to examine the semantics of space particular to each narrative, the association and partition of its structural elements, and the latent level of meaning arising from the organization of the stories’ mise-en-scène.U ovom radu nastojaću da analiziram tri klasika horror književnosti – “The Willows” (1907) Aldžernona Blekvuda, “Genius Loci” Klarka Eštona Smita (1936) i “The Voice of the Beach” Remzija Kembela (1977) – u kojima je pejzaž zamišljen kao prebivalište natprirodnog.

    [A ∧ P ; P ∧ A] [A AND P ; P AND A]: Architecture and Philosophy, Philosophy and Architecture

    No full text
This reflection is an attempt to bridge Architecture Philosophy, supported by two main drives: a Wittgensteinian form and a Nietzschean intempestiveness. This means that the final re-sult, besides being fragile, fragmentary, and slightly unorthodox, will only make sense if the reader abandons himself to the proposals to think with the text, accompanying the challenges that each proposition entails, like a peripatetic dialog in a philosophical garden
