    Peningkatan Minat Penggunaan Produk Keuangan Syariah Melalui Islamic Branding dan Literasi Keuangan Syariah

    This research is motivated by the importance of interest in using Islamic financial products. This study aims to identify and analyze the increased interest in using Islamic financial products through Islamic branding and Islamic financial literacy. The research method used in this research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 98 people with a random sampling technique. Data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires and questionnaires. The instruments used have been tested for validity, reliability and classic assumption tests. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS and Excel. The results of this study indicate that 1) Islamic branding has a positive and significant effect on increasing interest in using Islamic financial products, 2) Islamic financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on increasing interest in using Islamic financial products, and 3) Islamic branding and Islamic financial literacy together the same positive and significant effect on increasing interest in the use of Islamic financial products. The findings of this study indicate that if you want to increase interest in using Islamic financial products, Indonesian Sharia Banks must increase Islamic branding and Islamic financial literacy

    This research was conducted to test the effect of sharia financing contracts (Murabaha, Mudharabah, and Musyarakah Financing) on Profitability (ROA) of Harta Insan Karimah Sharia Rural Banks in 2018-2022. The data of Financial Services Authority (OJK) is used as the population with a sample of the financial statements of the Harta Insan Karimah Sharia Rural Bank for the period 2018-2022 (17 samples). The research method in this study is the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method with quantitative research using multiple linear regression analysis techniques using SPSS version 25 software. The independent variable (X) tested in this study consists of Murabahah, Mudharabah, and Musyarakah Financing. The dependent variable (Y) used in this study is Return on Assets (ROA). The results of the study show that simultaneously, X variables (Murabaha, Mudharabah, and Musyarakah Financing) has no effect on variable Y, namely profitability (ROA) of BPRS Harta Insan Karimah in 2018-2022. Partially, Musyarakah Financing has a positive and significant impact on the profitability (ROA) of Harta Insan Karimah Sharia Rural Banks in 2018–2022, whereas Murabahah Financing and Mudharabah Financing each have a positive and insignificant impact on the Return on Assets (ROA) of BPRS Harta Insan Karimah in 2018–2022

    Studies on the history of Islamic economics are still very rare, especially the study of Islamic economics before the Nubuwah period or the time of the appointment of the Prophet Muhammad as a Prophet and Apostle. The purpose of this study is to prove that Islamic economic civilization has existed since the time of the Prophet Adam sent by Allah to the earth. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a research library, with a historical methodology approach. The results of the study said that Islamic economic civilization existed long before the Nubuwah era or the time of the appointment of the Prophet Muhammad SAW as a prophet and apostle. At the time of the Prophet Adam, there were very simple economic activities to meet their basic or primary needs. These economic activities are consumption, distribution and production. More and more economic functions were practiced during the time of Noah and Yunus, including the functions of transportation and trade. Even at the time of the Prophet Yusuf, there was already a supply and warehousing function. The time when Prophet Musa carried out economic activities more fully and in detail, namely when Prophet Musa a.s. met with two girls who were queuing to get their cattle to drink and then Prophet Musa offered himself as a representative (wakalah contract) to carry out the duties of the two girls. Furthermore, more intense cooperation in the field of livestock maintenance and development as employees (managers) and shahibul Maal (livestock owners). The economic functions at the time of the Prophet Muhammad were more complete, namely the functions of production, consumption, distribution, human resources and investment. Almost everything was lived by the Prophet Muhammad himself since the age of 8 years. The initial journey that the Prophet Muhammad had carried out was as a deputy at the beginning as a shepherd with a salary system, then as a mudharib in a trading business when the prophet Muhammad was not married, and then after marrying Khadijah the Prophet acted as a shahibul mall and at the same time an investor and this is when the Prophet Muhammad have a lot of time to think about the condition of society, at this time the Prophet had achieved financial freedom or freedom of mone

    Accounting information is a computer-based system and determines performance appraisal, performance, and usage. Accounting information is very important to use in BAZNAS, because if you don't use an accounting information system, the reporting system or budget arrangement will not be optimal. Based on the acceptance data for the last 5 years from the results of interviews, it was found that the data on receipt of zakat funds at BAZNAS has experienced ups and downs or is unstable, so this will affect public confidence in giving zakat at BAZNAS. Zakat funds are trust funds that are paid by the community to be distributed to mustahik. This study aims to analyze the application of accounting information and assess the level of acceptance of zakat funds at the Medan City National Amil Zakat Agency. This research method uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and the research data consists of primary data and secondary data. In this study, the primary data was obtained from direct observations and interviews with informants, while the secondary data in this study were in the form of research supporting data, such as documents owned by BAZNAS in the city of Medan. The results showed that the implementation of the Medan City BAZNAS information system was in accordance with PSAK no 109 in the sense of Statement of Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) no 109 regarding zakat and infaq/alms accounting issued by the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI). PSAK no. 109 is used as a guideline for OPZ (zakat management organization) in the recognition, measurement, presentation and disclosure of zakat and infaq/alms transactions. The level of receipt of BAZNAS zakat funds in Medan City shows an unstable condition, where there are changes every year, it can go up or down. Judging from the report on changes in zakat funds in 2018 Rp. 709,759,592, in 2019 Rp. 310,816,859, in 2020 Rp. 653,352,697, in 2021 Rp. 738,399,810, and in 2022 Rp. 1,737,062,598

    This article examines the social media-based Islamic philanthropy movement in managing donations in Indonesia. This type of research is a field research through a qualitative-descriptive approach with the research objects being Sedekah Rombongan, Sedekah Bergerak, Laskar Sedekah, Sedekah Kreatif Edukatif, and Kitabisa.com. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that social media-based Islamic philanthropic institutions/ communities creatively optimize websites and social media to collect donations in the form of health, social, and educational service programs. The distribution of donations is mostly for charity activities due to the priority scale for the needs of the poor, then followed up with empowerment programs in the form of providing working capital, training, and business assistance. This Islamic philanthropic movement is able to provide additional understanding, change in behavior, and change attitudes toward the poor to be more productive and empowered. To measure the success of the program, namely by providing two indicators, first, donors donate through the provision of funds, and goods, and are actively involved in program implementation.     Macroeconomic Sensitivity and Financial Performance on Islamic Banks Profitability

    This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of NOM sensitivity on inflation, CAR, NPF, FDR, OER, and company size (Size) on profitability in Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia from 2017 to 2022. The population in this study are all Islamic Banks in Indonesia. The sample used is purposive sampling. There are 7 Islamic Banks that are the sample in this research object. The method used is linear regression, where this method is used for hypothesis testing. In this study, the measurement of the coefficient of determination, the F significance test, and the t significance test were used. This measurement is done to determine how much influence between variables. The test results show that simultaneously NOM sensitivity on inflation, CAR, NPF, FDR, OER, effect on profitability. However, the t significance test shows only OER has a significant negative effect on the profitability of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. Meanwhile, NOM's sensitivity to inflation, CAR, NPF, and firm size (Size) have no significant effect on the profitability of Islamic Banks in Indonesia. The hypothesis regarding the Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) has a positive effect on the profitability of Islamic banks has not been proven

    Integrated Quality Management toward Community Economic Empowerment at Micro Waqf Bank

    Abstract The issue of poverty that occurred for years brings the government's attention until it appears breakthroughs. One of the breakthroughs in the economic sector is to establish Micro Waqf Bank (BWM) which is expected to improve community economic development surrounding the Islamic Boarding School. This research aims to describe Integrated Quality Management (IQM) theory toward the BWM management process, to explain the management of Micro Waqf Bank (BWM) Tebuireng in detail, and to show how the implementation of IQM in Micro Waqf Bank (BWM) Tebuireng. This research involved an empirical study with a qualitative approach. While the primary and secondary data sources were collected through interviews and documentation. The research results indicated that the concept of IQM can be used as a benchmark for whether the quality management of financial institutions has been linked to Islamic values or vice versa. The fund management of BWM Tebuireng is divided into three stages, such as fundraising, fund distribution to customers, and regular reports. Finally, the management has been based on the six principles of IQM which include a focus on customers, process improvement, total involvement, avoiding speculation (gharar), avoiding ambiguity, and no coercion. Abstrak Persoalan kemiskinan yang berlangsung selama bertahun-tahun selalu menjadi perhatian pemerintah sampai akhirnya dicetuskan terobosan-terobosan baru. Salah satu bentuk terobosan tersebut dilakukan pada sektor ekonomi melalui pendirian Bank Wakaf Mikro (BWM) yang diharapkan mampu meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat di sekitar pesantren. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan tawaran teori Integrated Quality Management (IQM) untuk proses pengelolaan BWM. Kemudian menjelaskan pengelolaan BWM Tebuireng secara rinci. Diakhir, akan ditunjukkan bagaimana implementasi IQM di BWM Tebuireng. Penelitian ini termasuk kajian penelitian empiris dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Lalu sumber data primer dan sekunder dikumpulkan melalui serangkaian proses wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konsep IQM dapat digunakan sebagai tolok ukur apakah pengelolaan lembaga keuangan sudah mempunyai kualitas mutu yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai ke-Islaman atau justru sebaliknya. Kemudian pengelolaan dana BWM Tebuireng dibagi menjadi tiga tahap, yaitu penghimpunan dana, penyaluran dana kepada nasabah, dan laporan rutin. Terakhir, pengelolaan tersebut sudah sesuai dengan enam prinsip IQM yang meliputi fokus kepada pelanggan (focus on customer), perbaikan proses (process improvement), keterlibatan total (total involvement), terhindar dari spekulasi (gharar), terhindar dari ketidakjelasan, dan tidak adanya paksaan

    Determinan Minat Penggunaan E-payment Syariah Dimoderasi Literasi Keuangan Syariah

    The potential for using e-payments is so large that it encourages people to meet the transaction needs of the Indonesian people by using sharia-based e-payments. Sharia e-payment has become a trend and is currently being discussed by people in Indonesia. This study aims to identify factors that can influence the interest of MSMEs in Malang City in using sharia e-payments with Islamic financial literacy as moderation. The research conducted is a quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The sample used was 108 respondents who are owners/top management of MSME owners in Malang City who have made transactions using sharia e-payments in the last 3 years. The data obtained was tested with Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results show that financial self-efficacy has an effect on perceived usefulness and intention to use sharia e-payment, perceived security has a significant effect on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use has an effect on intention to use sharia e-payment. Meanwhile, financial self-efficacy has no effect on perceived ease of us and perceived ease of use has no effect on perceived usefulness. Islamic financial literacy can moderate financial self-efficacy. But, not able to moderate perceived security, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use

    Flexing or a narcissistic behavior by showing off the wealth its really happened a lot lately on social media. Flexing is an interesting topic of conversation among the public. Sometimes flexing is the behavior to made a perspectives done by fake rich people. This study is aims to determine the flexing behavioral on Islamic economics perspective. The method in this study is qualitative, with the analysis on a phenomenological approach. In this study it was found that flexing is prohibited in Islam Economic perspective. Flexing is done by fake rich people to show their existence or to gain recognition from others. People who are truly wealthy tend to exhibit good financial behavior and are able to live simply without spending too much money. In Islam, it is recommended to live a simple and balanced life and not to waste wealth in order to fulfill desires. Islam also encourages its people to prioritize saving rather than using their finances to fulfill desires rather than needs, such as being more concerned with saving, investing, or helping people who are experiencing difficulties by zakah, infaq and sedekah. Therefore, financial intelligence is very important for every individual in order to avoid the behavior of showing off wealth. Financial intelligence is related to knowledge, behavior in managing, using assets so that they become more blessed and do not violate sharia provisions
