Development of Green Building Evaluation for Capacity Building of Civil Engineering Students to Realize Sustainable Development
The purpose of writing this article is to determine the level of Civil Engineering capacity in the development of green buildings to realize sustainable development. Civil engineering really considers advances in transportation technology, environmental changes such as climate, soil structure and natural disasters as well as the development of green buildings to realize sustainable development. Civil engineering is used to design and oversee the construction of infrastructure. However, the facts on the ground show that there are still many who think that the construction of green buildings is not the responsibility of civil engineering personnel but the responsibility of spatial planning personnel. Constraints from the unaccommodated green building by civil engineering personnel of UPI Bandung gave rise to the author's idea to conduct an evaluation of green building development to increase the capacity of Civil Engineering in realizing sustainable development. The activity method is descriptive activity through online and offline face-to-face activities, discussions, practicum, pre-test and post-test. The population is civil engineering students of FPTK UPI Bandung who are still active as students. The sampling technique was done randomly. The tools used are computer hardware and software, tests, questionnaires and observation sheets. Data The primary data taken is data from activity participants and secondary data in the form of satellite images of housing locations. The data analysis technique used is understanding analysis, participants' attitudes and skills as well as spatial analysis. Based on the results and discussion of the research, some research findings that can be concluded regarding the level of understanding of respondents in analyzing green building development to realize sustainable development are that the implementation of appropriate standard operating procedures to explain the analysis of green building evaluation development to realize sustainable development can increase the capacity of Civil Engineering
PENGARUH TEMPERATUR DAN WAKTU PENAHANAN ARTIFICIAL AGING PADA PROSES AGE HARDENING TERHADAP TINGKAT KEKERASAN LOGAM PADUAN ALUMUNIUM
A method used to improve the hardness of aluminium alloy is by applying age hardening process. The process in age hardening were solution heat treatmen, quenching, and artificial aging. At phase of artificial aging can be conducted by some variation. The variation able to influence the result from process of age hardening. The aim of the research was to analyze the effect of temperature and holding time artificial aging to hardness of alumunium alloy. The alumunium alloy used for the research was ASSAB Prodax. The method used in the research was experiment method. The independen variables were temperature artificial aging and holding time artificial aging. The dependent variable was hardness of alumunium alloy. Variation temperature of artificial aging at 1200C, 1500C, and 1800C. Variation holding time of artificial aging at 2 , 4, and 6 hours. Based of the statistic analysis with anava two way to the data gathered from the research, it can be stated that the temperature artificial aging at 1200C and holding time artificial aging at 6 hours resulted in improving hardness (78,98 HRB)
Utilizing Video Graphics as a Digital Learning Media to Improve Students' Green Skills
This study aims to explain how video graphics-based digital learning media can be an alternative in the learning process that can meet the needs of green skills and support the concept of SDGs. The research used a literature review by collecting data from several articles, proceedings, and books from 2013-2022. The results showed that green skills could be applied in education by using environmentally friendly learning media. One of the learning media that can be used is videography. The use of videography can support the application of green skills by using the paperless principle in every learning activity. So, applying green skills in everyday life can attain several SDGs goals, such as innovation and climate action
PERBEDAAN KUAT TEKAN SEGMEN KOLOM MODULER BETON PECAHAN GENTENG DENGAN SEGMEN KOLOM MODULER BETON PECAHAN BATA MERAH PADA RUMAH TUMBUH
The objectives of this research were: (1) is there any difference between compressive strength the moduler column segment of tile fraction concrete with the moduler column segment of red brick fraction concrete (2) is there any difference between specific gravity the moduler column segment of tile fraction concrete with the moduler column segment of red brick fraction concrete (3) percentage of clay fulfilling of optimal quality moduler column segment. This research used the quantitative method experiment by compression test. Population used by 33 moduler column segment 150 mm x 150 mm x 300 mm with variation of the percentage of red brick fraction and tile fraction replacement 0%, 20%, 40%, 65%, 80%, 100%. Data Technique analyzes used was the equations mark with lines the regression with the level significance 1%. Conclusion from this research is: (1) There was difference between compressive strength the moduler column segment of tile fraction concrete with the moduler column segment of red brick fraction concrete. On the moduler column segment of tile fraction concrete with percentage of 40%, 60% compressive strength equal to 15.81 Mpa and 15.04 Mpa fulfill the structure standard and the moduler column segment of red brick fraction concrete with percentage of 40%, 60% compressive strength equal to 8.92 Mpa, and 6.56 Mpa not fulfill the structure standard (2) There was difference between specific gravity the moduler column segment of tile fraction concrete with the moduler column segment of red brick fraction concrete at variation of percentage of 40% and 100%. (3) Optimal quality of moduler column segment of tile fraction concrete with percentage of 40%, compressive strength 15.81 Mpa, specific gravity 2217.05 kg/ m³
Perancangan Meja Las yang Ergonomis berdasarkan Analysis REBA di Universitas Sebelas Maret
Welding practice is one type of practice with a fairly long duration. Therefore, an ergonomic welding table design is needed so that the practice can practice safely and comfortably. The purpose of this study was to evaluate existing designs with the REBA analysis approach and then redesign the more ergonomic welding table. Data collection technique using purposive sampling technique. The proposed welding table design is based on anthropometric data of 30 UNS Mechanical Engineering Education students class of 2018, 2019, and 2020. The design design of this welding table uses SolidWork 2019 software. The calculation of ergonomic risk evaluation with REBA resulted in a score of 6 meaning that immediate improvement is needed and requires further investigation. The results of this study obtained a new welding table design design that has dimensions: 42 cm in length, 40 cm in width, and 2,010 cm in height. This welding table also provides space to put the welding machine under the welding table. Thus, the improvement of the design of the welding table will increase the efficiency of the implementation of the practice. In addition, the practice will be safer and more comfortable because the welding table has adjusted to the posture of the average student
Digital Assessment Model of Industrial Practice On-the-job Performance of Social Workers at a Family Learning Center
The industrial practice assessment tool that can objectively measure the competency achievements of students of the Family Welfare Education Study Program during Industrial Practice at the Family Learning Center (PUSPAGA) is essential. The research objectiveis to produce a digital assessment model for Industrial Practices on the job performance of the social worker. The study used a qualitative descriptive method through expert judgment and the limited availability of exams and responses. Participants are industry practitioners, PUSPAGA external consultants, and a team of government agency experts. Researchers collect data Research results show that a digital assessment model on the job performance of social workers is very feasible to implement and achieve student performancein the implementation of Industrial Practices at PUSPAGA; all of them are declared competent.External Mentors on Industry Practice as a digital assessment user t responds strongly agree thatthe digital assessment model on the job performance of socialworkers is the application: (a) which makes it easier to assess student performance objectively online; (b) more practical, systematic, and efficient in assessing practicum performance; (c) who helps and provides user satisfaction in providing an objective assessment of practicum performance
The Effect of Delay on the Implementation Cost: Case Study on The West Java Government Office Building Project
The delay of work in the project will affect the duration and cost of project implementation. So far, the effect of delays on project implementation costs has not been applied in project control. The majority of project control is only carried out with the S curve of the project cost weights, which only observes the costs that have been implemented in the project but cannot observe the effect of the implementation and delay of work activity on the cost of project implementation. This study, Tracking Progress on the Microsoft project on the duration of work every week from the first week to the last week on the West Java Government Office Building Construction Project. Simulation tracking will show the increase or decrease in costs due to a project activity. The Development of SketchCa-based Animated Video Learning Media for Building Utility Construction Learning
The development of digital technology today is increasingly opening up opportunities for teachers to develop interactive learning media. So far, the use of learning media that utilises various digital applications has not been widely developed to assist students in understanding teaching materials and maximising digital literacy. This study aims to develop a SketchCa-based animated video learning media on cut-out image material in the Building Utility Construction subject in class XI, Department of Building Modeling and Information Design. The research method used is research and development (R & D). The development of this animated video learning media uses SketchUp and Canva software applications. The data collection technique in this study used a media and technology expert validation sheet. This research is still developing to obtain relevant media results from product feasibility tests by media and technology experts. Pengembangan Model Discovery Learning Berbasis Mobile untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Abad 21 pada Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan
Tuntutan keterampilan abad 21 telah mendorong pendidik untuk terus melakukan inovasi pembelajaran, salah satunya adalah mengembangkan model pembelajaran berbasis mobile. Penelitian yang dilakukan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk mobile learning berbasis Google Site yang dipadukan dengan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning. Model pengembangan yang digunakan berdasarkan prosedur pengembangan Gall, Gall dan Borg yang terdiri dari 10 tahap dan dilakukan sampai tahap akhir dengan menghasilkan produk final mobile learning berbasis Google Site. Validasi oleh ahli materi mendapatkan nilai 90% dengan predikat sangat layak. Validasi oleh ahli media memperoleh nilai 97,5 % dengan predikat sangat layak. Media telah diujicobakan secara terbatas kepada 15 dan 30 peserta didik yang duduk di kelas XI Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Pemesinan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Setelah memperbaiki produk hasil dari ujicoba terbatas, produk di uji lapangan diperluas ke-3 sekolah dengan total 78 responden. Respon peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran secara garis besar sangat positif dengan nilai 87,17%. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran mobile learning berbasis Google Site pada mata pelajaran Teknik Pemesinan Bubut kelas XI Teknik Pemesinan SMK ini tergolong dalam kategori sangat layak dan dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan abad 21 peserta didik di SM
Evaluation of The Facilities and Infrastructure in UPI Kindergarten Lab School based on The Principles of Child-Friendly School Design
This study aims to describe the criteria for the principles of child-friendly school design in the kindergarten environment, explain the condition of the facilities and infrastructure in the UPI Kindergarten Lab School, and the suitability of the facilities and infrastructure owned by the UPI Kindergarten Lab School with the principles of child-friendly school design. This uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive-evaluative method. Data collection techniques are in the form of observation and documentation. The research results related to the criteria for the principles of child-friendly school design in the kindergarten environment are known to have five aspects: security, health, comfort, safety, and convenience. The results of evaluating the suitability between the facilities and infrastructure of the UPI Kindergarten Lab School with the principles of child-friendly school design are 72.66% with good assessment criteria. The most superior and appropriate assessment is found in the assessment of health requirements and is less suitable for safety requirements
