    Technology-Based Learning Models and Project-Based Learning Models Work Together to Boost Student Motivation and Abilities

    The modern industrial era demands more practical and innovative skills from school graduates. As a result, there is a need for educational reform that emphasizes helping students acquire competencies relevant to the demands of the labor market. Technology-based learning (TBL) and project-based learning (PjBL) are two learning strategies that could increase student motivation and proficiency. PjBL offers a project-based learning environment where students can gain knowledge through hands-on experiences closely linked to the business world. TBL provides access to tools, resources, and digital platforms that can enrich learning, increase student engagement, and facilitate wider access to information. An observational method was combined with a qualitative approach in this study. The research sample involved were students at the Vocational High School (SMK) level. The research data were obtained through direct observation of the learning process and student activities. The data were analyzed qualitatively descriptively to explore how integrating PjBL and TBL models can improve student motivation and competence. The study's findings demonstrated that by providing students with more engaging, useful, and pertinent learning material, the integration of PjBL and TBL models can boost their motivation to learn. In addition, active involvement in projects and the use of technology increased students' critical thinking skills, creativity, and ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment. The results of this study suggest that combining TBL and PjBL models could be a useful strategy for encouraging students to learn and develop the skills required in today's industrialized society. Combining these two models into instructional strategies promotes deeper student engagement and equips students with skills that will meet industry demands in the futur

    Analisis Persepsi Siswa SMK PGRI 1 Surakarta Dalam Pengelolaan Sampah Plastik Berdasarkan Theory of Planned Behavior

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh sikap perilaku, norma subjektif, dan perceived behavior control terhadap persepsi pengelolaan sampah plastik, serta mengevaluasi pengaruh pendidikan daur ulang terhadap perubahan persepsi tersebut pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode studi kasus dan desain one group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 21 siswa kelas X Teknik Otomotif di SMK PGRI 1 Surakarta. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner sebelum dan setelah sesi materi dan praktik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sikap perilaku tidak memengaruhi persepsi pengelolaan sampah plastik (Sig. 0,307 > 0,05). Norma subjektif memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap persepsi (Sig. 0,039 < 0,05; koefisien regresi 1,089). Perceived behavior control juga berpengaruh, namun dengan arah negatif (Sig. 0,039 < 0,05; koefisien regresi -1,132). Pendidikan daur ulang terbukti meningkatkan persepsi pengelolaan sampah plastik, dengan rata-rata nilai post-test (19,14) lebih tinggi dibandingkan pre-test (16,10).     Analysis of Game-Based Learning Models in the Motor Development Students 12th Grade Vocational High School in Surakarta

    This research is undermined by the need to understand the impact of Game-Based Learning (GBL) models on the motor development of 12th grade RPL Vocational High School in Surakarta. There is an analysis of the gaps associated with the application of GBL in the context of vocational education. The problem formula of this study covers the extent to which the game-based learning model contributes positively to the motor development of 12th grade students. The research method applied is qualitative, with qualitatively descriptive techniques involving the investigation of the motor development of the learners in the application of Game-Based Learning. Data collection on this research uses observation and interview.  The participants in this study were 12th grade RPL A pupils and one of RPL Vocational High School teacher in Surakarta. There are four games that are followed by the pupils: Crossword, Matching Pictures, Guess Letters, and Snake Stairs, which discuss Mobile Device Web Programming subjects related to Android Studio and Flutter materials. Research findings suggest that applying the GBL model to the motor development of 12th grade pupils can improve typing skills, training rigor, agility, and caution. The application of this model is very good because it invites students to learn while playing, which makes them feel happy because so much knowledge is acquired. In addition, the majority of Vocational High School students orientation after graduation is working, so they are more likely to do practice than theory. It can be concluded that the GBL model contributes positively to the motor development of 12th grade RPL Vocational High School students in Surakarta

    Efektivitas Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Berbasisi Mobile Sebagai Upaya Peningkatan Kecakapan Siswa di Abad 21 pada Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan

    Dalam menghadapi perkembangan teknologi dan komunikasi di era modern ini, penguasaan keterampilan abad ke-21 menjadi sangat penting, seperti berpikir kritis, pemecahan masalah, komunikasi, kolaborasi, serta kreativitas dan inovasi. Keterampilan ini diakui sebagai elemen kunci untuk menciptakan lulusan perguruan tinggi yang siap menghadapi tantangan global. Masalah ini sejalan dengan kebutuhan pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21, yang mencakup critical thinking and problem solving, communication, collaboration, dan creativity and innovation. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, diperlukan pengembangan kurikulum yang berfokus pada persiapan masa depan dan kebutuhan industri di abad ke-21. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan tersebut adalah discovery learning, yang mendorong pemikiran kritis, kreativitas, dan pemecahan masalah. Namun, terdapat kendala, seperti waktu pelaksanaan dan keterbatasan teknologi, yang harus diperhatikan. Dalam konteks pembelajaran akuntansi di SMK, penelitian ini mengusulkan pengembangan model pembelajaran daring berbasis discovery learning yang dapat mendukung pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21.     Pendeteksian dan Identifikasi Jenis Partial Discharge dengan Metode Analisa Pola Phase Resolved Partial Discharge (PRPD)

    Energi listrik merupakan energi yang paling utama digunakan oleh masyarakat. Permasalahan yang timbul dalam proses penyaluran energi listrik harus dihindari salah satunya adalah kegagalan isolasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya partial disharge di dalam isolator transformator dan menganalisis jenis-jenis partial discharge dengan metode analisis pola  Phase Resolved Partial Discharge (PRPD). Partial discharge dideteksi dengan menggunakan sensor fractal Hilbert dan output dari sinyal yang direkam ditampilkan oleh spectrum analyzer, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan setiap partial discharge memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda-beda, yaitu karakteristik sinyal pada pengujian corona 3 kV diperoleh lebar phasa peluahan korona adalah 0º. Karakteristik partial discarge surface adalah pola ritas positif memiliki lebar phase yang lebih besar dari polaritas negatif. Pada penelitian lebar phase peluahan rata-rata di polaritas positif adalah 53º dan di polaritas negatif 29º. Karakteristik partial discharge void adalah pada polaritas negatif memiliki besar sudut peluahan yang lebih besar dari polaritas positif. Pada polaritas positif lebar phasa peluahan rata-rata adalah sebesar 25º dan polaritas negatif adalah 52º. Metode PRPD dapat digunakan untuk pengenalan sinyal partial discharge di dalam isolasi transformator

    Karakteristik Minyak Pirolisis Campuran Biomassa Tongkol Jagung dan Sabut Kelapa dengan Plastik Polyprophylene

    Kebutuhan energi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari terus meningkat seiring waktu, sementara cadangan bahan bakar fosil semakin menipis. Salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi masalah ini adalah pengembangan energi terbarukan, termasuk pemanfaatan limbah tongkol jagung, sabut kelapa, dan plastik PP (polypropylene) sebagai bahan bakar melalui proses pirolisis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh variasi rasio campuran limbah tongkol jagung dan sabut kelapa dengan plastik PP terhadap massa jenis minyak yang dihasilkan. Proses pirolisis dilakukan dengan mencampur biomassa dalam bentuk RDF-3 dengan lima rasio komposisi: 0%:100%, 25%:75%, 50%:50%, 75%:25%, dan 100%:0%. Pirolisis berlangsung selama 60 menit menggunakan kompor biomassa berbahan bakar briket batok kelapa, diikuti dengan pengukuran kuantitas minyak yang dihasilkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rasio campuran memengaruhi kuantitas dan kualitas minyak hasil pirolisis. Rasio 100% plastik PP menghasilkan kuantitas minyak tertinggi, dipengaruhi oleh suhu pembakaran, jenis, dan jumlah bahan baku. Temuan ini menunjukkan potensi limbah biomassa dan plastik sebagai sumber bahan bakar alternatif yang berkelanjutan

    Pengembangan e-Modul Panel Surya dengan Solar Tracker Single Axis pada Mata Kuliah Energi Baru dan Terbarukan Universitas Sebelas Maret

    The Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program FKIP Universitas Sebelas Maret, there is one of the new courses in the 2021 curriculum (independent curriculum, independent campus learning), namely New and Renewable Energy. The learning tools in the course are not yet fully available. Learning tools continue to progress with the times, and e-modules are one of them.  In this research developed a new and renewable energy learning e-module with a focus on utilizing solar energy using solar panels. Solar panels used are static solar panels and solar panels with a single axis solar tracker. The purpose of this study is to develop learning e-modules and find out the feasibility to be used in New and Renewable Energy courses. This study uses the Research and Development research method, with a 4-D model research model (Four D model), namely Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. The Define stage results that the New and Renewable Energy course requires supporting learning tools, in the form of e-modules, e-module users are students of Mechanical Engineering Education class of 2021, with theoretical and practical learning concepts. The Design stage selects the format, drafts, and makes the initial draft. The Development stage tested the design results to two material expert lecturers, and the validation test of two media expert lecturers, then tested to 11 students. In the Disseminate stage, the e-module is submitted to the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. For the results of this development research, in the expert test this e-module material obtained a score of 90.52% with a very decent category, in the media expert test a score of 88.88% was obtained with a very decent category.     Pembelajaran Kooperatif Model Make A Match Untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa pada Materi Pengolahan Rumput Laut

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar materi pengolahan rumput laut menggunakan metode make a match pada siswa kelas XI APHPI . Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan di salah satu SMK kelas XI Jurusan APHPI. Data pada penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan skala motivasi belajar siswa, lembar observasi dan catatan lapangan. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui model pembelajaran make a match dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI APHPI SMK. Hasil data skala motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI APHPI mengalami peningkatan pada setiap indikatornya di setiap siklus. Perolehan presentase rata-rata pada setiap indikator yaitu sebesar 84 % atau termasuk dalam katagori baik. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan semua siswa dapat memasangkan kartu pertanyaan dan jawaban dengan benar. Meskipun untuk memasangkan antara kartu pertanyaan dan kartu jawaban siswa mengalami kesulitan, namun siswa tetap bersemangat dan tidak mudah putus asa untuk menemukan pasangan kartu tersebut

    The Effect of Project Based Learning Model on Learning Interest of Vocational Students in Surakarta

    The background of the study was to determine the effect of Project Based Learning model on learning interest of vocational students in Surakarta. The purpose of this study is to increase the learning interest of vocational students by applying the Project Based Learning model. This research uses qualitative methods with methods for gathering data through surveys and observations. The research subjects were vocational students and teachers of public vocational schools in Surakarta. Which consisted of 36 students and 1 subject teacher. The results showed that 75% of students liked the learning process with the Project Based Learning model, while 25% liked other learning models. From these results it can be seen that the majority of students like the Project Based Learning model.
