The Optimization of Savonius Helix Wind Turbine Cut-in Speed with the Variation of Blades-twist Rotor and Number of Blades

Wind turbines are typically classified as Horizontal Axis Wind Turbines (HAWT) or Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWT). VAWT has a superior ability to accelerate from rest to rotation than HAWT, allowing it to rotate the rotor even when the wind speed is low; additionally, the produced torque is relatively high. Using the Savonius helix VAWT is one of the numerous methods for enhancing VAWT performance. The effect of the number of blades and the blade twist of the rotor or the angle of rotation of the blades on the rotor from the bottom end to the top end on the speed cut generated by the VAWT Savonius helix was investigated experimentally. Variations in the number of blades used in the study included 2 and 3 blades, as well as 90°, 180°, 270°, and 360° for the rotor twist blades. In a wind tunnel, data was collected at wind speeds ranging from 0 to 5 m/s. The best performance research results were obtained With three blades, a twist angle of 180 degrees, and a cutting speed of 1.51 m/s. By modifying the Savonius Helix VAWT design in this study, it is possible to increase the efficiency and performance of turbines, mainly when used at low wind speeds, and the potential for using wind energy as a more efficient and sustainable alternative energy source

Career uncertainty and unpreparedness of Vocational High School students in the face of the world of work are often associated with career choice factors (career choice). This causes many students who are not confident in choosing available job opportunities and some even choose not to work or become unemployed. This study aims to identify the factors that influence students' career decisions. This study applied the systematic literature review methodology to articles published in foreign journals. The researchers applied predetermined search parameters to locate ten pertinent articles published between 2019 and 2021. The study concluded that it is essential to recognize the factors that influence career decisions. It is crucial to assist students in concentrating more on the job search process and obtaining their desired positions. Employability, as determined by personal traits such as a proactive personality, self-reported education, personal preferences, performance expectations, days worked, industry experience, and years of study, was the most significant factor, followed by social status and prior work experience. This research also has educational and professional applications. Advisors who develop the personal potential of graduates can assist students and job seekers in adopting and exploring career strategies

This study aims to analyze the results of developing project-based learning methods for solving problems. Development is carried out by adding Project Based Learning syntax to the Learning Implementation Plan. This research method uses a Research and Development approach. The steps taken in this study include 1) needs analysis, 2) model development, 3) model validation, 4) limited trials, and 5) extended trials. The population and sample studied were vocational school students, with a total sample of 32 students. Sample selection using simple random sampling (simple random) and purposive random sampling. The analytical tools used are the normality test, homogeneity test and difference test. Based on the analysis results, it is known that the data on learning outcomes before the PjBL action averaged 79.66 with a deviation of 3.2. The lowest score is 77, and the highest score is 89. The average learning outcome data after the PjBL action is 87.58, with a deviation of 4.2. The lowest score is 77, and the highest score is 99. Based on the analysis results, it is known that the average learning outcome data before the PjBL action is 77.19, with a deviation of 1.5. The lowest score is 75, and the highest score is 80. The average learning outcome data after the PjBL action is 82.18, with a deviation of 3.7. The lowest score was 77, and the highest score was 97. The Wilcoxon Test analysis results showed differences in the score before project-based learning and the score after project-based learning. There is an influence of project-based learning on student learning values. Based on the analysis of learning development trials outlined in the lesson plan, project-based learning is feasible to use in improving student learning outcomes

Early exposure to various professions is essential. The effects can make it easier for children to recognize what they want for the future. It is also essential to teach them the value of the profession. The study studied the concept of grade iv elementary school students in the South Petojo region's profession. The study was conducted to discover misconceptions about the architectural profession among elementary school students in the research environment. This study aims to know if students understand the differences in the professions of architects, interior design, and construction workers. The method used in this study is qualitative. In all, the study of the fourth-grade architect's conception of 14 students suggests that most students already understand the difference between the profession of architect, builder, and interior design. The finds indicate that students already understand the third order of professions within construction (development). Students understood that the first order in the construction sphere was the architect, the second order was the construction worker, and the last order was interior design. The benefits of this study are that students can distinguish between architecture, interior design, and construction workers through the construction applications which belong to the ICT students' literacy

Implementation of Low-Cost Laboratory in Education: A Systematic Literature Review

The availability of educational facilities is still a problem in many countries. Inadequate laboratory equipment will affect student learning outcomes and the quality of graduates. Therefore, many studies have developed low-cost laboratories as an alternative solution. This article aims to study the development of low-cost laboratories and their implementation in learning. This study used the systematic literature review (SLR) method. The articles used in this study were published from 2017–2021 and obtained from the IEEE Xplore database. After the papers were accepted, we were selected using inclusion and exclusion criteria. Thirty-two articles were used. The results show that a low-cost laboratory can be an alternative solution to the high price of commercial equipment and a learning tool to improve learning outcomes. The methods used in implementing low-cost laboratories are design, research and development, and experimentation. Using low-cost laboratories in learning activities improves the quality of learning outcomes
