Get PDFThe Objective of the research is to obtain information about the effect of personality, emotional intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior on principal’s performance of senior high school. The research was conducted to all of senior high schools principals in The City of Tangerang by using a survey method with path analysis applied in testing hypothesis. The number of 124 school Principal’s as sample was selected by proportional random sampling. The research conclude: (1). there is direct effect of personality on principal’s performance. (2). there is direct effect of emotional intelligence on principal’s performance. (3). there is direct effect of organizational citizenship behavior on principal’s performance. (4). there is direct effect of personality on principal’s organizational citizenship behavior. (5). there is direct effect of emotional intelligence on principal’s organizational citizenship behaviour. Therefore to enhance schools principal’s performance can be carried out by personality, emotional intelligence, and the organizational citizenship behaviour

Get PDFThis study aims to analyze needs, plan, develop, and test a model of management information systems at the Department of Master of Educational Management, Post Graduate Studies State University of Jakarta. This study used a qualitative approach. The method used is the research and development. Researchers developed a model of driver's license through the ten steps (borg and Gall) were then categorized into four stages (the initial data collection and needs analysis, planning, development, and testing). Data collected and analyzed in a qualitative (Creswell). Through the process of library research, observation, interviews, and documentation study obtained data on student opinion of the service of information, setting conditions, and analysis of information system requirements on the Department. The results showed that the system is still used convensional information and technology-based information system is needed. In the testing phase the chairman of the Department declared feasible for use. From the results obtained, conclude that the management of data and infoemation is still conventional, technology-based information system is needed, planning and development accordance with aspects of management education in the Departement, and the products have passed testing by the Chairman. Provision of human resources, tools, policy support, and student participation is an important factor for the development of subsequent system

Get PDFThe study aims to obtain empirical data about the presence or absence of a strong and weak linkage between the independent variable authority and decicion making with the dependent variable managerial effectiveness principle on senior high school North Jakarta. The research method used in this research is survey. The sample is 52 respondents taken by proporsional random sampling. The study was conducted to senior high school principlals in North Jakarta. The result of the study pointed out that: (1) there is a direct and significant influence of Authority with managerial effectiveness, (2) there is a direct and significant influence of decision making with managerial effectiveness and (3) there is a direct and significant influence authority with decision making

Get PDFThis Research is made to determine (1) the relationship between managerial skills with Head of Competence Skills productivity (2) the relationship of control activity to the Head of Competence Skills productivity (3) the relationship between managerial and control skills along with the Head of Competence Skills productivity. The research methodology that has been used was correlation approach survey. In this study, 145 Head of Skill Competency in selected SMK have been used as a sample by using simple random sampling techniques (simple random sampling). This research conducted in Jakarta area. Based on the description to hypothesis test, the research findings can be outlined as followed: (1) there is a positive relationship between managerial skills with the productivityof the Head of Competence Skills (2) there is a control relationship with the productivity of Head Competency Skills (3) there is a positive relationship between managerial ability andcontrol alongwith the Head of Competence Skills productivity. The implication of this study is an attempt of improving the productivity of the Head of Skill Competency that can be done through improved managerial and controlskills
HUBUNGAN ANTARA KOMUNIKASI DAN PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN DENGAN KINERJA KEPALA SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI DI WILAYAH JAKARTA TIMUR
Get PDFThe objective of the research is to obtain the relationship between communication with the headmasters’ performance, decision making with the headmasters’ performance, communication and decision making with the headmasters’ performance in subdistrict Kramat Jati East Jakarta. The research method used is survey method with correlation and regression approach. The respondents were elementary headmasters’ who are at subdistrict Kramat Jati East Jakarta as many as 75 samples selected by simple random sampling technique. The finding of the research are: (1) there is a positive relationship between communication with performance; (2) there is a positive relationship between decision making with performance; and (3) there is a positive relationship between communication and decision making with performance.Based on these findings, it could be concluded that any changing or variation occured at headmasters’ performance might have been associate with communication and decision making. To minimaze the variation which occurred in headmasters’ performance, these factors such as communication and decision making are necessary to be taken into account

Get PDFThis research aims to determine the relationship between: (1) organizational climate with achievement; (2) knowledge of communication with achievement; and (3) the relation between organizational climate and knowledge of communication with achievement. The research method using survey by correlation approach. This research used as a sample of 80 employees, and 20 employees for testing, and selected based on a simple random technique (simple random sampling). The study was conducted at Depok Local Office Education.Technique data collecting was using the instrument in the form of questionnaire. This instrument is calibrated with the test item validity and reliability coefficients. To test the validity of using Pearson Product Moment correlation, while the reliability coefficient is calculated using the formula of Cronbach Alpha.
The results showed that: first, there were positive relationship between organizational climate and achievement; secondly, there is a positive relationship between knowledge of communication with achievement; thirdly, there is a positive relationship between organizational climate and knowledge of communication together with achievement.The implication of this research is an effort in improving the achievement can be done through organizational climate and knowledge of communication

Get PDFThis research aims to determine the relationship between (1) control with teacher’s performance at public SMA in Bekasi,Districk (2) compensation with teacher’s performance at public SMA in Bekasi,Districk, (3) control and compensation together with teacher’s performance at public SMA in Bekasi Districk.The research method using survey by correlational approach. This research used sample of 90 employees (teachers and principals), and 20 employees (teachers and principals) for trial, and selected based on a simple random technique (Simple Random Sampling). Study toward in public Senior High School in Bekasi Districk. Technique data collecting was using the instrument in the form of questionnaire. This instrument is calibrated with the test item validity and reliability coefficients. To test the validity of using Pearson Product Moment correlation, while the reliability coefficient is calculated using the formula of Cronbach Alpha.
The results showed that: First, there is a positive relationship between control with performance. Secondly, there is a positive relationship between compensation with the performance. Third, there is a positive relationship between control and compensation together with performance. The implications of this research is teacher’s performance in Bekasi can be enhanced through control of the Principal and an increase in compensation

The purpose of this study is to determine the condition of the management of primary school libraries in East Jakarta and to obtain information about the strategic development plan for elementary school library in accordance with the standard of school facilities and infrastructure. This study is a survey research using exploratory and descriptive methods. Descriptive method used to analyze the results of questionnaires from respondents about the real conditions of primary school libraries in DKI Jakarta Province in terms of availability of facilities and utilization of library materials and library management. Exploratory method used to analyze the results of interviews from respondents about the development of elementary school library to National Standard of Education. Results of this study are : First, elementary School Library in DKI Jakarta Province has not been managed well. Second, not all state primary school in the provinces of DKI Jakarta has a school library standards. Third, Schools that have a library was not supported by adequate facilities
PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN, DISAIN PEKERJAAN, DAN IKLIM ORGANISASI TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA TENAGA PENUNJANG AKADEMIK DI UNIVERSITAS NEGERI MEDAN
Get PDFThe objectives of this research were to find out: (1) the effect of leadership on job satisfaction, (2) the effect of job design job satisfaction, (3) the effect of organizational climate on job satisfaction; (4) the effect of leadership on organizational climate; and (5) the effect of job design on organizational climate. The study was a survey conducted in Medan with 79 sample of Medan University employees, selected randomly. The data were analyzed by using path analysis. The result of this research were as follows: (1) there was a positive effect of leadership on job satisfaction; (2) there was a positive affect of job design on job satisfaction; (3) there was a positive effect of organizational climate on job satisfaction; (4) there was a positive effect of leadership on organizational climate; and (5) there was a positive effect of job design on organizational climate. In order to improved job satisfaction, leadership in line with context and situation, the relevant job design, and the conducive organizational climate should be put into human capital management; however other variables were necessary to be taken into account by next job satisfaction research

In this study, the method applied is descriptive quantitative method. Analysis unit refers lecture's job satisfaction at Raudhatul Athfal of Duren Sawit region east Jakarta . Instrument applied in collecting of data it is questioner.This study covers: (1) is the work Environment lecture's job satisfaction teacher's at Raudhatul Athfal (2). Is the Teamwork in improving to lecture's job satisfaction teacher's at Raudhatul Athfal and (3) Are the work Environment and Teamwork in collective improving to lecture's job satisfaction teacher's at Raudhatul Athfal. The result of this study indication thatcorrelation between work Environment and job satisfaction are very significant, correlation between Teamwork and job satisfaction is significant and finally correlation between work Environment and Teamwork in collective to lecture's job satisfaction have regression line equation and it is able to test in corrective. Therefore, this correalation should be maintained and developed to achieve better than relations so as to provide benefits for teachers and Raudhatul Athfal, as more and better relationship, so higher the job satisfaction
