KEBIJAKAN NASIONAL TENTANG MUTU PEKERJA SOSIAL: Studi Evaluasi Tentang Implementasi Kebijakan Pekerja Sosial Pemerintah Pusat dan Daerah
This research is aimed to analyse : (1) Policy substance which is guiding the social workers, especially related to the quality of the social workers, (2) The policy implementation which is implemented by the stakeholders of the social ministry (The directorate General of social rehabilitation services, The head of Research and training Board, The head of Employee and organization Biro, All directors and heads of Training and education centers, (3) and the result of policy implementation which is done in the operational level. The resources of the primary data as an anlysis unit is the stakeholders of social ministry, social workers and the head of care management centers in the local and central government. The conclussion of this research is : (1) The National Policy in the form of regulation (Constitution, government President and Minister regulation), (2) In the policy implementation of the social workers’ quality, during the five year period (2004-2009) has not been implemented well. (3) The Evaluation of national policy implementation about the quality of the social workers in providing social services is : (a) 40% of the social workers who are competence in providing social services, (b) the qualification of social workers mostly in the skilled level ( 65 %) and the small part is in the expert level (35 %), (c) The ratio of social workers to the clients is about 1 : 22 (1156 social workers handle 25.000 clients), (d) the limited number of social workers and budget, lack of training and education are regarded as the causes of the low target of social services and the low quality of the the PMKS output, (4) There are some head of the care management center who do not give the sufficient opportunities for the social workers to implement their main job and function. This problem brings bad impact to the performance and competencies of the social workers in developping their profession
MANAJEMEN MUTU TERPADU PADA PROGRAM STUDI MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN S2 PASCASARJANA UNIVERSITAS NEGERI JAKARTA
At present more directional orientation of the organization to fulfill the needs of customers, both existing customers within and outside the organization. So also with the quality of higher education orientation, which is directed at the needs of the community college (faculty, students, staff) as well as general community needs. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation process of teaching and learning in higher education, service to students and the system of supervision of learning activities. While the methods used in this research is descriptive method with population research masters student educational management force from 2009 to 2010. The results of the research are as follows : 1) Implementation of the learning process in educational management department have been met, 2) Information on educational management department have also been fulfilled, 3) Service learning resources on educational management department are not entirely satisfied, including the availability of laboratory educational management, 4) Monitoring learning educational management department have been run well
PENGARUH GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN, LINGKUNGAN KERJA, DAN HARAPAN DOSEN TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA
The objectives of this research is to find out the effects of leadership style, work environment, and the lecturers or teaching staff satisfaction. The research has been conducted at Pakuan University, Bogor. The method used was a survey with data analysis of path analysis. The respondents were 72 out of 264 total teaching staff in the university. They were selected at random. The research finding are as the followings: (1) leadership style has a direct effect on the lecturer’s satisfaction, (2) and also on the work environment has a direct effect on the job satisfaction, (3) the expectation gives a direct effect on job satisfaction, but the leadership style gives and indirect effect on job satisfaction, but the leadership style gives an indirect effect on job satisfaction through expectation, and (4) the working environment has also indirect effect on the job satisfaction through expectation. The conclusion is that the lecturer’s satisfaction is affected by the leadership style, work environment and the lecturer’s expectation
APLIKASI TOTAL QUALITY MANGEMENT (TQM) PENDIDIKAN TINGGI DALAM RANGKA PELAYANAN PELANGGAN MAHASISWA ASING DI INTERNATIONAL ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY MALAYSIA (IIUM)
This study aims to describe the role of Total Quality Management in order to increase foreign student customers.The method used is qualitative descriptive method. The selection of this method is to obtain an overall picture of the problem being studied. As for the unit of analysis or research subject as a source of data are the leaders, lecturers, staff, technical supervisors, and the students of International University of Malaysia (IIUM).The data was collected by using questionnaires. Interview method is used to support the research, and the obtained-data was analyzed through triangulation. In general, the results of this study show that continuously improvement and involve all elements of the organization starting from the rector of IIUM to personnel at the technical level in order to improve customer service quality of foreign students. This worked well and coordinated according to the system that has been applied and has been in accordance with international standards. Based on data analysis, it is known that in general, Total Quality Management (TQM) that is applied by the rector of the International Islamic University (IIUM) has reached an optimal point, whether it in terms of Customer Satisfaction, Continuous Improvement, Speaking with Fact, and Respect for People. Thus, it can be concluded that TQM applications in order to improve Customer Service Foreign Students at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) was a great influence in improving customer service quality of foreign students in accordance with the vision, mission and objectives of the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM)
PENGARUH KOMUNIKASI DAN MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI TERHADAP KEPUASAN PELANGGAN di PPs UNJ
The objective of this causal research is to obtain information concerning the effect of communication and achievement motivation on PPs UNJ student satisfaction. The research was conducted by using a survey method with path analysis in testing hypothesis. In this research, PPs UNJ students of the school year 2009/2010 has been choosen as a unit analysis and 211 samples of student were selected in random. The results of the research are as follows: (1) there is a direct positive effect of communication on achievement motivation indicated by the value of the path coefficient = 0.404; (2) there is a direct positive effect of communication on PPs UNJ student satisfaction indicated by the value of the path coefficient = 0,223; (3) there is a direct positive effect of achievement motivation on PPs UNJ student satisfaction indicated by the value of the path coefficient = 0,304. Therefore, student satisfaction can be improved by optimizing the communication made by the director and staff, lecturers and administrative staff to students using a variety of appropriate media to get positive feedback from students.
