    The Implementation of International Standardization Organization (ISO) 9001 in Educational Institutions

    Background Related to business, including introducing products and services to the world community. Quality refers to a dynamic condition related to products, services, individuals, processes, and environments that meet or exceed established expectations. The main focus is on continuous improvement to create products and services that have competitive quality at the global level. Purpose The purpose of this study is to explore and understand the concept of ISO (International Organization for Standardization), including its history, types, and significance, particularly in the context of educational institutions. Design/method/approach This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, focusing on literature study as the primary method. The data were collected through the review and analysis of various sources such as scientific journals, books, and credible internet articles related to ISO standards, particularly ISO 9001, and their implementation in educational institutions. Results The results of this study indicate that ISO, particularly ISO 9001, plays a vital role in enhancing the quality management systems within educational institutions. Schools that implement ISO standards show improved organizational structure, clearer documentation processes, and increased stakeholder satisfaction. The study also finds that ISO certification encourages continuous improvement and helps schools gain greater credibility and competitiveness on both national and global levels. Contribution/value This research contributes to the understanding of how ISO 9001 certification impacts the quality management systems in educational institutions. The study provides valuable insights into how schools can align their internal quality assurance systems with international standards, thereby enhancing educational service delivery

    Organizational Culture as A Determinant of Effective Leadership in Elementary Schools

    Background In Indonesia, only 58% of principals meet managerial competency standards, fostering a supportive culture is essential to bridge leadership gaps and align with national education goals. Purpose This study explores how organizational culture enhances the performance effectiveness of elementary school principals, focusing on core values like collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity. Design/method/approach A qualitative case study design was employed, with data collected through semi-structured interviews involving principals and teachers from diverse elementary schools. Purposive sampling ensured representation of urban and rural contexts. Thematic analysis identified patterns in cultural practices and their impact on leadership effectiveness. Results Organizational culture, characterized by trust and shared decision-making, plays a crucial role in enhancing principal performance by fostering motivation and minimizing resistance to change. In this context, principals function as “cultural architects,” employing transformational leadership practicessuch as mentoring and participatory meetings to instill and strengthen core values within the school environment. However, contextual challenges, including resource disparities, demand adaptive cultural strategies, particularly in rural schools where emphasizing mutual cooperation becomes essential for sustaining progress and achieving shared goals. Contribution/value The study contributes by highlighting how organizational culture grounded in trust and shared decision-making significantly enhances principal performance through transformational leadership practices

    Optimization Of Student Management As A Pillar Of Educational Institutions In Indonesia

    Background Student management plays a very crucial role in supporting the success of educational institutions in Indonesia. Effective management will create a conducive learning environment, strengthen character formation, and support the development of students' overall potential. Purpose The purpose of this study is to analyze educational conflict in Islamic boarding schools. The research methodology used is a literature review. Design/method/approach The research methodology used is a literature review. Results The research results show that student management that is structured and based on good management principles, such as planning, organizing and evaluating can strengthen the capacity of educational institutions to achieve their goals. In the context of Indonesian education, the role of student management is becoming increasingly important in line with social, cultural changes and the increasingly complex needs of the world of work. This article aims to examine how student management can support the quality of educational institutions, especially in improving the quality of the learning process and student welfare. Contribution/value This article also highlights the importance of collaboration between schools, parents and the community in carrying out effective student management, in order to create quality education that is relevant to the needs of the times

    The Effectiveness of Teacher Competition Analysis in Improving Insurance Literacy at National Level

    Background Insurance literacy remains a critical component of financial education, particularly in developing nations where public understanding of insurance principles is often limited. Purpose This study aimed to determine the insurance literacy of teachers who had participated in the competition. Design/method/approach The method used was descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through questionnaires. Results The study results were: (1). The teacher insurance knowledge level was already at a high level, well literate, with a score of 240 the interval of 160-240. This meant that the respondents had already understood the basic concepts of risk and insurance well. (2). The insurance skills level was at the level of quite literate with a score of 235. This meant that the respondents were skilled enough in managing risk and insurance. Contribution/value the respondents had already understood the basic concepts of risk and the concept of insurance well, but they were still not quite skilled in managing the risk and insurance; respondents were also still hesitant about insurance and insurance capabilities

    Background The problem of education quality in Indonesia is a complex challenge that requires a multifaceted approach. By improving access and quality of education, increasing teacher professionalism, and developing a relevant curriculum, it is hoped that the quality of education in Indonesia can improve significantly. Purpose The purpose of writing this article is to analyze various problems that affect the quality of education in Indonesia in the era of the independent curriculum and identify potential solutions to overcome these problems. Design/method/approach The method used in this article is literature study. Results The results of this research explain that from various problems with the quality of education in the era of the independent curriculum, the government continues to strive to improve and improve the quality of education, unequal access and quality of education, improving teacher quality and professionalism, improving educational infrastructure and facilities so as to achieve the goal of national education to create the next generation. superior and integrated successor. Contribution/value To overcome this problem, the government needs to increase teacher training programs, especially in hard-to-reach areas, apart from that, there needs to be a larger budget allocation for improving educational facilities, and educational equality policies must be a priority.

    The Role of Leadership, Work Climate, and Motivation in Enhancing Teacher Performance

    Background Teacher performance plays a crucial role in enhancing educational quality, and several factors such as leadership, work climate, and work motivation may influence it. Understanding how these variables interact can inform educational practices and improve overall teaching effectiveness. Purpose The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of leadership, work climate, and work motivation on teacher performance in an educational setting. Design/Method/Approach This research uses a quantitative approach with a hypothesis testing methodology. Data were collected through surveys from a sample of teachers, and statistical analyses, including t-tests and p-value calculations, were employed to test the hypotheses. Results The findings reveal that all three variables leadership, work climate, and work motivation significantly influence teacher performance. Specifically, the t-test results for leadership, work climate, and work motivation were 2.058, 2.242, and 3.958, respectively, and the corresponding p-values were 0.029, 0.025, and 0.000, all indicating statistical significance. Contribution/Value This study contributes to the literature by providing empirical evidence on the relationship between leadership, work climate, work motivation, and teacher performance. The results offer valuable insights for educational policymakers and school leaders aiming to enhance teacher performance and overall school effectiveness

    The Effect of Self Efficacy and Workload on Work Stress of Public Elementary School Teachers in Bekasi

    Background Work stress is one of the main challenges faced by teachers in carrying out their professional duties, especially in the elementary school environment which has high dynamics. Factors such as heavy workload and  low levels of self-efficacy are believed to contribute to increased psychological stress in carrying out the role of educator. Purpose This study was conducted to find out the extent of the level of work stress of classroom teachers in public elementary schools spread throughout the North Bekasi District, Bekasi City. This study also aims to examine the influence of self-efficacy and workload on work stress, as well as the relationship between self-efficacy and the workload itself. Method This study involved 172 elementary school teachers in the North Bekasi District area. The instrument used was a survey, and the data was analyzed using the path analysis method. This method was chosen because it is able to simplify the process of analyzing the causal relationship between the variables studied. Result The results showed that: 1) There was a significant influence between self-efficacy on work stress, 2) There was a significant influence between workload on work stress, and 3) There was an influence between self-efficacy on workload. Value This research makes an important contribution to the understanding of the factors that affect teachers' work stress. These findings can be used as a basis for designing interventions aimed at improving self-efficacy and workload management, in order to reduce teachers' work stress and support their well-being in the primary education environment

Without a leader, an organization would only b e a group of people and equipment without direction In Islam, leadership is of great concern, this is explained in a hadith that requires that each group have a lead er, even in small numbers. Purpose This study aims to find out a bout the leadership of the Rasulullah SAW that is often implemented in educational leadership Design/method/approach This method research used a qualitative descriptive approach. And the data collection technique in this study uses library techniques (Research Library) such as journals, books, and websites that are used as references. Results The Results show that The application of Rasulullah SAW leadership In Educational Leadership The research results identify the leadership of the Prophet Muhammad SAW as applied in educational leadership through: honesty, trustworthiness, justice, communicativeness, consultation, and exemplary behavior. These points are the keys to carrying the trust of leadership. From the many leadership models, it shows that the success of a leader lies in their ability to adapt to situations, motivate, and empower the people they lead. Contribution/value             This concept illustrates how the leadership of Rasulullah SAW in educational leadership shapes a character of leadership that is honest, trustworthy, and reliable, serving as a role model for all of humanity. This should be a crucial point for future educational leadership to create an effective and efficient environment

Design/method/approach This research uses a literature study method by reviewing various journals, books, and previous research results relevant to this discussion. Results It can be found that there is a wide range of theories related to leadership, with each theory offering its own perspective to explain the concept of leadership styles. In the context of Islamic educational management, leadership styles are also a key point of discussion, particularly in their implementation in schools and institutions. Islamic educational management plays an important role in leadership styles, which can be adapted to different situations and conditions.     The Contribution of Organizational Culture and Leadership to Improving Work Behavior in Nagari IX Koto Sungai Lasi

    Background By knowing the influence of organizational culture and leadership style, the nagari government can take strategic steps in managing these two factors to create a conducive work environment and encourage positive work behavior from nagari officials. Purpose The purpose of this research is to determine the contribution of organizational culture and leadership to improving work behavior in the Nagari IX Koto Sungai Lasi apparatus. Design/method/approach The research method used was survey with total population was 40 respondents, the data collection method used a questionnaire. Results The results of the coefficient of determination obtained a value of 0.329, that the contribution between the variables Organizational Culture and Leadership Style was 0.329 or 32.9% and influenced by other variables was 67.1%. The t-calculated result of Organizational Culture 0.753 > 2.024 has an influence and is not significant on the Work Behavior. The t-calculated results of Leadership Style < 3.699 < 2.024 have an influence and significance on the Work Behavior and the results of the f test are 9.072 > ftable 3.24 with a significance level of 0.001 < 0.05. The large fcount value of the ftable value and the significant value is smaller than 0.05 indicates that Organizational Culture and Leadership Style simultaneously or together have a significant and significant influence on the Work Behavior. Contribution/value This study concludes that organizational culture dan leadership is a key factor in the successful of work behavior
