Grouping of Tourism Locations in Indonesia Using Distance Variations in the K-Means Algorithm
Get PDFIndonesia is home to a diverse range of tourist destinations, yet the classification and mapping of these locations remain a challenge in tourism management. This study aims to cluster tourist destinations in Indonesia by applying the K-Means algorithm with three distance metric variations: Euclidean Distance, Manhattan Distance, and Canberra Distance. The dataset was sourced from public data repositories and underwent preprocessing steps, including data normalization. The optimal number of clusters was determined using the Elbow Method, while the clustering results were evaluated using the Silhouette Score and Davies-Bouldin Index. The findings indicate that Manhattan Distance produced the highest Silhouette Score (0.321463), suggesting superior clustering performance compared to the other two metrics. The results of this study provide valuable insights for stakeholders in formulating strategic tourism promotion and infrastructure development efforts

Get PDFThis study aims to discuss the types of copyright infringement of video content on the TikTok platform and law enforcement for copyright infringement of video content on TikTok. The method used is normative law used to juxtapose laws and conceptual, using data collection in the form of secondary data. The results found that violations of property rights by sharing Korean dramas in the form of unauthorized video cuts through creators or copyright holders resulted in a decrease in ratings on legal streaming platforms and uploading Korean dramas that were watched by thousands of people without any royalties. Regulations to protect creators and copyright holders of their creations Law No. 28 of 2014, but in the complaint using a complaint offense so that the creator and copyright holder must directly report that there is a copyright infringement, as well as TikTok must first have a user report reporting that the content contains copyright infringement, this makes the freedom of irresponsible individuals increasingly free because the creators and copyright holders do not report it, so that copyright infringement committed on TikTok is considered commonplace

Get PDFThe purpose of this study is to discuss the law enforcement against immigration violations in the area of the Class II Non-TPI Immigration Office in Agam and the factors that hinder law enforcement against immigration violations. The method used in this research is descriptive with an empirical juridical type of research, using a qualitative approach. The data was obtained through interviews with the Head of the Intelligence and Immigration Enforcement Section (INTELDAKIM) at the Class II Non-TPI Immigration Office in Agam. The research findings indicate that there are difficulties faced by the INTELDAKIM division in processing law enforcement against violations committed by foreign nationals. These difficulties include a lack of personnel in the INTELDAKIM division to handle the cases, as one of the members is currently undergoing training as an investigator, which creates an imbalance between law enforcement and the number of foreign nationals entering the jurisdiction of the Class II Non-TPI Immigration Office in Agam. But unfortunately, the level of interest in reading in Indonesia is still relatively low. This can be seen from the less optimal use of the library by the community. One of the factors causing low interest in reading in Indonesia is inadequate library facilities, incomplete collection of books, and inadequate spatial atmosphere. The interior design of the library is quite important because it will improve the function and aesthetic value which will increase the comfort aspect of its users so that they feel at home in the library for long. Therefore, this study aims to analyze in more detail related to the elements in interior design which consists of 6 elements, namely layout, variation, coloring, air temperature, and lighting. Kajian Arsitektur Neo Vernakular pada Bangunan di Taman Krida Budaya Kota Malang
Get PDFIndonesia is a country with various ethnicities and cultures. Each region of Indonesia has its own culture and uniqueness. As modern times become more modern, many local wisdoms and characteristics are starting to disappear. One way to ensure that local wisdom remains is by implementing neo vernacular architecture. Neo vernacular architecture is a form of applying architectural components to buildings in the form of shapes, structures and/or elements that are not in physical form such as concepts, thought patterns and spatial planning, which has the aim of using local components created from community culture to be futuristic and modern without reducing existing traditional elements. Research was carried out to look for the characteristics of Neo Vernacular Architecture in the cultural park area. The method used is qualitative description, by conducting literature studies and field observations. The place used as the object is the Krida Budaya Park in Lowokwaru District, Malang City. From the observations that have been made, it was found that Taman Krida Budaya applies the concept of neo vernacular architecture in several parts of the building, both in the main building and in supporting buildings

Get PDFAs a form of cultural heritage in Indonesia, Pendopo Agung Trowulan is located in the Trowulan archaeological site which has extraordinary historical value and is an important representation of traditional Javanese architecture. This study aims to identify the main characteristics of vernacular architectural elements integrated in the building's design, as well as analyze the vernacular architectural elements that influence the building's form and space. The method used was descriptive qualitative involving literature review, field observations, and interviews with local residents. The analysis was focused on various physical aspects such as the form and space in the Trowulan Great Hall building. With all its functions and meanings, Pendopo Agung Trowulan is a clear evidence of how vernacular architecture can play an important role in preserving and promoting local wisdom and enriching the social and cultural life of the community

Get PDFThis paper aims to reflect on the transformation of roofs from merely providing shelter to becoming active thematic spaces in cafe architecture. This study responds to the phenomenon of uniquely designed cafes, which leverage various spatial aspects, including roofs, to enhance the outdoor spatial experience. Roofs are no longer just protective coverings against the weather, but have the potential to be reimagined as imaginative, explorative active spaces. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach based on case studies in Indonesia within a tropical context to illustrate the diverse roles and functions of roofs. The analysis is conducted by identifying the configuration of roofs as active spaces. The primary objective is to uncover how the application of roofs as active spaces involves various responsive design operations and strategies. The findings of this study highlight three key aspects of the new role of roofs: extended functionality, creative configurations, and functional construction. It is hoped that these insights will inspire cafe architectural designs to explore various other architectural aspects, beyond the traditionally understood limitations of roof functions

To improve the quality of urban facilities, the city plans to construct Pondok Aren Squarety in 2024. However, a thorough evaluation is needed to ensure that the square is built and designed according to standards and meets the expectations and needs of visitors. As part of this effort, a comprehensive evaluation of Pondok Aren Square will be conducted. The study aims to address the challenges faced by local governments in providing 20% of green open space in urban areas, which is crucial for mitigating climate change and achieving the mission of net-zero emissions to develop its urban planning and the construction of Pondok Aren Square is one of the steps taken to improve the quality of urban facilities. This research will take a quantitative approach involving measurements based on relevant standards as well as the collection of visitor perception data

Get PDFThe building envelope plays a very important role in determining occupant comfort and building energy efficiency. One factor that needs to be considered in building envelope design is the influence of solar radiation. Solar radiation entering a building can affect indoor temperature, lighting quality, and energy consumption for cooling and heating. Therefore, proper building envelope design can minimize the negative impacts of solar radiation, such as excessive heating and increase indoor thermal comfort. This study aims to analyze various building envelope design strategies that can reduce the impact of solar radiation. Various influencing factors such as building orientation, materials, facade surface color, shading systems, and use of glass will be discussed in this study. Through a quantitative research approach, this study aims to provide recommendations for building envelope design that not only consider aesthetic and functional aspects, but also energy efficiency and occupant comfort. Proper envelope design can reduce the need for artificial energy for lighting and cooling, and contribute to reducing carbon emissions to improve the overall sustainability of the building
