Challenges and Strategies in Nigeria’s Fight Against Corruption: The Role of Public Administration and Anti-Corruption Agencies
This study examined the role of public administration in combating corruption in Nigeria, emphasizing the contributions of anti-corruption agencies. Adopting a historical study approach, the study traced the development and influence of key agencies, including the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC). The Institutional Theory was used to analyze the relationship between administrative frameworks and anti-corruption efforts. The study provides unique insights into the effectiveness of anti-corruption agencies, highlighting their achievements and the constraints they face, including limited resources and political challenges. The findings indicated that although these agencies have achieved significant progress, they face challenges such as political interference, insufficient institutional capacity, and poor coordination, which limit their effectiveness. The study concluded that public administration is essential in this fight, but more extensive reforms are necessary to enhance the strength and independence of these agencies. The study recommended the creation of an independent body to oversee the performance of anti-corruption agencies and ensure improved accountability in their operations. The study's practical contribution is found in its policy suggestions for enhancing anti-corruption frameworks. In contrast, its theoretical contribution adds depth to the discussion on institutional integrity and governance in societies prone to corruption
Alat Pengusir Hama Burung Otomatis Berbasis Arduino (Atmega328 ) Menggunakan Sensor PIR (Passive Infra Red)
Bird pests are a threat to agricultural crops, especially rice, corn, and fruit crops. This study designs an automatic bird repellent device based on Arduino (ATMega328) with a PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor to detect bird movement. When the PIR sensor detects birds, Arduino activates the sound module through a speaker to repel them. This device is designed to be energy efficient and works well in various weather conditions. Testing for 7 days in agricultural land showed the effectiveness of the device, with a significant decrease in the number of birds from an average of 30 birds per day on the first day to 5 birds per day on the seventh day. In addition, this device has low power consumption, around 0.5 kWh per day, which shows high efficiency in energy use

The results of this study aim to analyze shutdown testing using the Omicron CMC 356 test tool on the relay distance in the 150 kV Jantho bay line. Testing was carried out using the Test Advance Distance module to test the time characteristics and the State Sequencer module to simulate the automatic fault and trip functions on the PMT (Circuit Breaker). The test results show that the time characteristics for Zone 1, Zone 2, and Zone 3 are still in accordance with the SPLN T5.002:2021 standard with an error below the tolerance limit of ±5%. In the ground phase fault simulation (R-N), the measured secondary current was 13.67 A with an angle of -72.55°, which is close to the test tool injection result of 13.2 A with an angle of -72.27°. The LED indication on the relay shows a response according to the fault simulation, and the PMT successfully carries out the trip and reclose functions according to the set parameters. This study confirms that the results of maintenance and testing using the Omicron CMC 356 are effective in evaluating the performance of the relay distance and ensuring compliance with applicable standard parameter
The Design of Microstrip Antenna Using DGS and Series Parasitic Methods for C-Band Applications in Satellite Communications
This research proposes the design of a microstrip antenna for satellite communication that operates at C-Band frequency. The antenna is made of FR4 material with a thickness of 1.6 mm and has a permittivity of 4.4. The target C-Band frequency that can operate is in the range of 3.7 GHz - 8 GHz. To achieve this wide bandwidth, the defected ground structure (DGS) method is used which cuts the ground area under the substrate. Furthermore, to increase the antenna gain, the method of adding parasitic elements arranged in series (series parasitic) located at the top of the patch. The antenna design begins by designing the antenna in the DGS model and adding three parasitic elements where the basic shape of the parasitic elements has the same dimensions as the antenna patch. Then the development is created using a quarter of the patch dimensions which are added with nine parasitic elements. The simulation results show that the antenna with nine parasitic elements has an antenna bandwidth of 5.292 GHz in the range of 3.214 GHz - 8.506 GHz, where the maximum gain obtained is 8.6 dBi. While the development of an antenna with nine parasitic quarter-size patches has a bandwidth of 6.126 GHz in the frequency range of 3.344 GHz - 9.47 GHz with a maximum gain of 8.04 dBi. Therefore, it can be concluded that this research that designs antennas with the DGS method and series parasitic can operate at C-Band frequencies and can be applied to satellite communications

Application of Keyless Security System in Credenza Product Design
A credenza is a type of furniture commonly utilized as a storage unit for various items, typically equipped with conventional physical locks. These locks, often made from iron, metal, or brass, pose a high risk of theft and require more time to unlock. This study proposes an alternative solution for enhancing storage security systems by incorporating Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. The adoption of a keyless security system based on RFID aims to replace conventional physical locks, offering improved security and efficiency. The primary objective of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of RFID technology and its practical application in credenza furniture. Experimental results using Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) as the material indicate that the maximum functional door thickness is 50 mm, with an authentication time of 1.27 seconds. The production process yielded a credenza featuring an RFID Reader Box installed on the inner side of the door, positioned 100 mm from the top edge, and a locking component located on the inner left wall, 115 mm from its edge
Development of an Equivalent Carbon Monitoring System for ACT Students at PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia
PT Toyota Motor Manufakturing Indonesia (TMMIN) is a company with a production base for exporting vehicles and components in Asia Pacific. PT TMMIN has a vocational college called the Toyota Indonesia Community Academy (AKTI) so that it can help build the automotive industry in Indonesia. Toyota has a program called the Toyota Environmental Challenge 2050 which is a form of realization of the SDGs. AKTI as part of the Toyota business line has the initiative to play a role in this program by providing training to AKTI students in the form of a green curriculum. It is hoped that with the green curriculum AKTI students will be able to know the equivalent use of the carbon they produce in their daily activities. Therefore, AKTI needs to develop a website-based system, using the Agile methodology with the Extreme Programming (XP) framework, the PHP programming language with the Laravel 8 framework, and a MySQL database. In system development, functional modeling analysis is carried out which produces several diagrams such as use case diagrams, activity diagrams and class diagrams. The system can manage the process of using electrical devices by students, manage the process of student green activities, and monitor the equivalent value of carbon emissions for each student. This can be a reference for AKTI to prepare AKTI students who have environmental awareness values to support PT TMMIN's green program
THE EFFECT OF ORGANIC BIOFERTILIZER FROM BSF LARVAE (Hermetia illucens) AND LOCAL MICROORGANISM ON THE GROWTH OF CAISIM MUSTARD PLANTS
One of the solutions developed for utilizing organic materials in agriculture is the use of biological fertilizer. This research is different from previous fertilizer research, where the biofertilizer in this study came from empty palm oil bunches, animal waste by using maggots (BSF larvae, Hermetia illucens) and local microorganisms to degrade them. The aim of this research is to obtain the composition of organic biofertilizer from three wastes that have been processed using maggots and local microorganisms. This research method uses RAL with 12 treatments with 3 repetitions. The results of a study of organic biofertilizer from BSF larvae and a consortium of local microorganisms on white mustard plants (Brasica chinensis) showed that treatment with a combination of animal waste, microbes and BSF larvae showed good results on the growth of white mustard plants. This is proven by the results of measuring soil pH, the highest height of chicory plants and the highest number of leaves compared to other organic biological fertilizer treatments, which were produced at the end of the measurement on day 30, the pH in the treatment with that combination is 4, plant height is 33 cm, and the number of leaves is 20
EFFECT OF SYZYGIUM CUMINI AQUEOUS EXTRACT ON CARBON TETRACHLORIDE-INDUCED TESTICULAR DAMAGE IN MICE: A HISTOMORPHOMETRY
The juwet fruit (Syzygium cumini) is a type of fruit commonly found in Indonesia and is known to contain high levels of antioxidant compounds, potential for protecting reproductive organs from oxidative damage. This study aims to investigate the effects of juwet fruit in protecting the testes from damage caused by CCl4 toxicity in mice. A total of 30 mice were used and divided into six groups: distilled water, 12.5 mg/mL CCl₄, and S. cumini extract at doses of 5, 10, 20, and 40 mg/mL for three weeks. Parameters assessed included body weight, serum testosterone levels, sperm count, and histomorphometry (seminiferous tubule diameter, germinal epithelium height, and spermatogenic cell counts). The results showed that CCl₄ significantly reduced body weight, the number of spermatogenic cells in the seminiferous tubules, seminiferous tubule diameter, germ cell height, and serum testosterone levels in the mice. The treatment groups receiving extract of juwet fruit at doses of 20 mg/mL and 40 mg/mL showed improvements in testicular function that were not significantly different from the distilled water group. In conclusion, reproductive toxicity induced by CCl₄ in male mice can be ameliorated by administering aqueous extract of juwet fruit at doses of 20 mg/mL and 40 mg/mL
