The Influence of Interaction and Entertainment Gratification through Ronal Surapradja's Image Perception on the Intention to Vote for West Java Students in the 2024 Regional Elections
This article examines the influence of entertainment and interaction through the perception of candidate image on the intention to choose students in West Java in the 2024 Regional Elections, with Ronal Surapradja as the research subject. This research focuses on evaluating social media's effectiveness as an effective campaign strategy in shaping voting intentions, especially in building a candidate's image. This study uses the theory of uses and gratifications with a quantitative approach. Data was collected through a questionnaire, distributed to West Java students, and then analyzed using the PLS-SEM method. The study's results showed that entertainment did not significantly affect the intention to choose Ronal Surapradja, while interaction had a significant negative influence. In addition, the perception of Ronal Surapradja's image was proven to mediate the impact of entertainment on the intention to choose. Still, it did not mediate the effect of interaction on the intention to choose. These findings show the importance of the right communication strategy in building a candidate's image on social media. Thus, it is essential to know the sound management of candidate image and the implementation of effective digital communication strategies to increase connectivity with voters, especially Generation Z, who are active on social media
Implementation of the Pepeling Program Policy (Mobile Tax Payment Service) in Increasing Regional Original Revenue in Serang City
Serang City, as the capital of Banten Province, recorded the lowest regional revenue (PAD) among other cities/regencies in the province from 2018 to 2020. The low understanding of taxpayers regarding tax obligations and limited investment in Serang City have contributed to its low PAD. This condition urged the Serang City Government to innovate and implement the Pipeline Program (Mobile Tax Payment Services) initiated by the Regional Revenue Agency to enhance regional revenue. However, challenges persist in its implementation, including limited infrastructure and human resource capacity. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Pipeline Program policy in increasing regional revenue in Serang City. Using a qualitative research design with a descriptive and inductive approach, data collection methods included interviews, observations, and documentation. The study applies Van Metter and Van Horn's theory, focusing on six indicators: policy standards and objectives, resources, inter-organizational communication and implementing activities, characteristics of implementing agencies, socio-economic and political conditions, and implementers' dispositions. The Pipeline Program is a payment channel designed to optimize public service delivery and provide tax education, especially for taxpayers in remote areas. The program contributed to PAD growth by 0.3% in 2021, 0.5% in 2022, and 2.4% in 2023. Enhancing operational vehicles, human resource quality and quantity, and continuous optimism are necessary to ensure Serang City's PAD steadily increases, removing its status as one of the lowest PAD contributors in Banten Province
Factors Influencing Youth Decision-Making to Join Military Organizations in Indonesia
This article investigates the factors influencing young people's decisions to join military organizations in Indonesia, focusing on their motives, experiences, and the perceived Meaning of military service. To approach this problem, a theoretical reference is used to frame and explain the interplay of individual motives, lived experiences, and the perceived Meaning of military service in shaping enlistment decisions. The data is collected through structured surveys administered to young individuals who enlisted in military organizations during 2024 and analyzed quantitatively using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with second-order constructs to assess the relationships and hierarchies among the latent variables. This study concludes that motives, experiences, and perceived meaning significantly influence the decision-making process. Motive is the dominant factor, and ideals and economic dimensions best reflect the motive factor. This study provides valuable insights into the dynamics underlying military enlistment in Indonesia, offering implications for policy development, recruitment strategies, and understanding youth behavior in military contexts
Analysis of PT RSI's Instagram Promotion Strategy Based on the AISAS Model
Instagram is widely used as a promotional medium by service companies, including PT Ravycool Sinergi Indonesia (PT RSI) which offers air conditioning cleaning services. However, the effectiveness of its promotion has not been optimized. This research analyzes PT RSI's Instagram promotion strategy using the AISAS model (Attention, Interest, Search, Action, Share). The method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach through observation of the @jasacuciacjakarta account, interviews, and analysis of Instagram Insights for the period August-October 2024. The results show a decrease in user engagement from the Attention stage (844 accounts) to Search (114 accounts), and only 5 accounts shared the content. The Action stage recorded 518 customers, but most of them were existing customers. The Share stages are the weak points of PT RSI's marketing strategy. It is recommended to strengthen educational content, Call to Action (CTA), and customer testimonials to increase promotional effectiveness
Classification of Hepatitis Disease Using The Fuzzy Mamdani Method
In the modern world, almost everyone uses technology and information. This is evident in various fields, ranging from education and employment to entertainment. Society is too dependent on technology and information, to the point of neglecting their own health. There are many diseases caused by neglecting one's own health, one of which is hepatitis. This is because some people pay little attention and are reluctant to get it checked. Because hepatitis is very dangerous for human survival, treatment must begin as soon as the first symptoms appear and assist in the early diagnosis of hepatitis. This will allow for the identification of the type of hepatitis disease. The aim of this research is to apply the Mamdani fuzzy method for the classification of hepatitis diseases. The Mamdani fuzzy method has been successfully utilized in systems for diagnosing hepatitis diseases. In this system, it will provide instructions, namely to select which symptoms are experienced, then you can choose those symptoms by checking them off, and this system will provide a diagnosis based on the symptoms experienced. The diagnosis results include the type of hepatitis disease experienced, as well as treatment solutions. The results obtained for diagnosing hepatitis A disease using fuzzy Mamdani calculation shows that 68% , and the diagnosis of hepatitis B disease using fuzzy mamdani calculations shows 53% , and the diagnosis of hepatitis C disease using fuzzy mamdani calculations shows 59%
Coffee Quality Classification Based on Customer Reviews Using C4.5 Algorithm
Coffee is a very popular commodity throughout the world, and its quality is oken evaluated through customer reviews. This research aims to classify coffee quality based on reviews given by consumers using the C4.5 algorithm. C4.5 is a machine learning algorithm used to generate decision trees, which allows decision making based on relevant attributes. In this research, the data used consists of customer reviews taken from e-commerce plaVorms and coffee discussion forums. The data is then processed with natural language processing (NLP) techniques to extract important features such as sentiment, keywords and term frequency. These features are used as input for the C4.5 algorithm, which builds a classification model based on patterns contained in the data. The results of the research show that the C4.5 model is able to classify coffee quality with high accuracy, reaching up to 85%. The factors that most influence quality classification include taste, aroma, and packaging, which are frequently mentioned in reviews. In addition, the analysis also shows significant differences in the quality of coffee produced from different coffee producing regions, which can provide insight for producers to improve their products
