Analisis Efisiensi Produksi Usahatani Sagu di Provinsi Riau: Pendekatan Stokastik dan Deterministik
Sago is one of the potential commodities in Indonesia as a food reserve. The main issue with sago production is that it is still managed traditionally, without the application of proper cultivation techniques. Generally, sago farmers in Riau Province do not conduct adequate care and maintenance of sago plants, which affects sago productivity. This study aims to analyze the production efficiency of sago farming in Riau Province. The sampling method used was non-probability sampling with purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis was carried out using a stochastic approach with the Cobb-Douglas production function model. The results of the study show that technically, sago farmers in Riau Province are efficient in labor use but inefficient in utilizing harvest area. Therefore, it is necessary to expand the harvest area and adopt a regular planting distance using an equilateral triangle system to increase the number of clumps per harvest area. Meanwhile, allocative and economic efficiency in sago farming in Riau Province has not been achieved. The relatively small number of plant clumps and the high land prices make harvest area utilization allocatively inefficient. Although labor allocation is technically efficient, it is not efficient in terms of allocation and economics. Labor costs are relatively high; thus, to achieve efficiency, it is necessary to reduce labor cost allocation.Provinsi Riau memiliki luas areal, produksi dan produktivitas sagu tertinggi dibandingkan provinsi penghasil sagu lainnya di Indonesia. Namun usahatani sagu di Provinsi Riau pada umumnya dilakukan secara turun temurun. Sebagian besar petani sagu tidak melakukan perawatan dan pemeliharaan, sehingga berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas sagu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efisiensi produksi usahatani sagu di Provinsi Riau dengan pendekatan stokastik dan deterministik. Metode analisis yang digunakan pada pendekatan stokastik adalah model fungsi produksi Cobb-douglas. Sedangkan pendekatan determenistik menggunakan metode Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan faktor-faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi produksi sagu adalah luas panen dan jumlah tenaga kerja. Sedangkan analisis efisiensi menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar petani sagu belum efisien secara teknis dan tidak efisien secara alokatif dan ekonomi. Hal ini disebabkan oleh penggunaan input yang berlebih serta penerapan teknik budidaya sagu yang belum optimal. Selain itu, juga belum mampu mengkombinasikan input dengan harga input minimal. Pentingnya mencapai efisiensi ekonomis menekankan petani untuk mencapai efisiensi baik secara teknis maupun alokatif. Dengan demikian, petani dapat menghasilkan output yang optimal dengan penggunaan input yang minimal, sehingga menciptakan kondisi usahatani yang efisien
ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN PERILAKU STRUKTUR BETON BERTULANG DENGAN SISTEM STRUKTUR OPEN FRAME DAN INFILLED FRAME
Dinding umumnya dianggap sebagai elemen nonstruktural dan beban dalam sebuah bangunan, namun memiliki kecenderungan untuk berinteraksi dengan struktur rangka utama saat terjadi beban lateral. Penelitian ini menganalisis bangunan ruko empat lantai dengan dua pemodelan struktur yaitu struktur rangka terbuka (open frame) dan struktur rangka dengan dinding pengisi sebagai shell element (Infilled frame) menggunakan bantuan program aplikasi SAP2000. Parameter pembanding adalah simpangan antar tingkat dan gaya-gaya dalam struktur. Hasil analisis menunjukkan simpangan arah X dan Y pada struktur OF masing-masing 83% dan 93% lebih besar dibandingkan struktur IF. Nilai momen, gaya lintang dan gaya aksial struktur IF lebih kecil dibandingkan struktur OF. Effectiveness of the Implementation of Local Government Information Systems in Financial Administration
This study aims to explain the effectiveness of implementing local government information systems in financial administration at the Baubau City DPRD Secretariat. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation and analyzed by reducing the presentation and conclusion. The study results show that the implementation of SIPD in the Baubau City DPRD Secretariat effectively understands the program, the accuracy of the targets, the timeliness, and the achievement of goals. The transparency resulting from implementing SIPD strengthens financial accountability, reduces the potential for corruption, and makes the reporting process more efficient. However, it is necessary to increase the capacity of human resources, improve infrastructure, and strengthen coordination between the agencies involved to overcome delays and errors in input and reporting and improve the effectiveness of the overall implementation of SIPD
Improving Social Justice: A Comprehensive Evaluation of the KPM Assistance Program in Poverty Reduction
This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Keluarga Penerima Manfaat (KPM) social assistance program in alleviating poverty in Sumengko Village, Kalitidu District, Bojonegoro Regency, in 2023. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving six respondents. The evaluation utilized William N. Dunn's framework, focusing on effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness, and accuracy, to ensure credible conclusions. The findings indicate that while the program effectively addresses basic needs by distributing 10 kg of rice per household, limitations in rice availability hinder its adequacy and equity. Uneven socialization and misallocation to ineligible households also impact program accuracy. These findings provide a basis for comparing similar programs in other rural settings and highlight the need for improved coordination and oversight. Beyond poverty alleviation, the program has potential broader impacts on community health and education by enhancing food security and reducing economic stress. This comprehensive evaluation emphasizes the importance of addressing logistical and social challenges to optimize the benefits of social assistance programs
Strategy of the Samosir Regency KPU in Holding Candidate Debates in the 2020 Regent and Deputy Regent Elections
The researcher raised this Thesis because of the researcher's interest in the strategy carried out by the Samosir Regency KPU to hold a Candidate Debate in the 2020 Samosir Regent and Deputy Regent elections. The Candidate Debate is a stage of the campaign that is highly anticipated by the community to be able to assess the candidate for the leader before giving his choice at the time of voting. The ResearcherResearcher wants to know the strategy for holding candidate debates in the 2020 Samosir regional election. In addition, what are the obstacles for the Samosir Regency KPU in holding a candidate debate event in the 2020 Samosir Regional Election? This research method is qualitative descriptive by presenting the data found comprehensively through in-depth analysis.
Meanwhile, data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions drawn. The research results show that the community has not optimally felt the strategy for implementing candidate debates in the 2020 Samosir regional election because the approach of selecting the venue for the implementation and determining the invitation limits public participation. Likewise, the broadcasting strategy of debate events is considered not to be optimal for disseminating the profile, vision, and Mission, as well as the work program of the Candidate Pairs to the Voters by providing comprehensive information to the Voters as one of the Voters' considerations in making their choices
Strategy of Melati II Tourism Village, Perbaungan District in Increasing Tourist Visits in Serdang Bedagai Regency
This article aims to analyze the strategies carried out by the village government and tourism office, as well as the role of actors in increasing tourist visits to Melati II Village. The research problem focuses on efforts to optimize local tourism potential to attract tourists. To overcome this problem, theoretical references are used as the basis for analysis. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis, then analyzed qualitatively using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the village government utilizes local potential by organizing cultural attractions such as Kuda Kepang, developing Kebun Jeruk Petik Sendiri and Palungguhan To Joyo, and increasing the accessibility of tourist locations despite budget constraints. The Serdang Bedagai Regency Tourism Office supports tourism promotion and development through training and innovation of unique attractions. In addition, actors such as village officials, local business actors, the community, and tourists collaborate in maintaining the environment, improving service quality, and promoting the village through social media. This study concludes that collaboration between the government, community, and tourists can make Melati II Village a leading tourist destination
Evaluation of Student Satisfaction with Computer Laboratory Facilities at UIN Sumatera Utara Using the C5.0 Algorithm
The evaluation of student satisfaction with the computer laboratory facilities at UIN Sumatera Utara is crucial for improving the quality of educational services provided by the institution. The main issue faced is the lack of accurate data regarding student satisfaction with the facilities available in the laboratory. This study aims to analyze the level of student satisfaction using the C5.0 algorithm, which is known for its effectiveness in data classification. The research methodology involves collecting data through a comprehensive survey covering various aspects of laboratory facilities, such as reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles. The survey was conducted with a number of students to obtain representative information about their satisfaction with the provided facilities. After data collection, data cleaning and processing steps were carried out to build a classification model using the C5.0 algorithm. The results of the study showed that the C5.0 model achieved a very high accuracy rate of 99.25%, with precision of 99.72% and recall of 99.45% on the training data. Meanwhile, on the testing data, the accuracy reached 97%, precision was 100%, and recall was 96%. These findings indicate that the model has a very high ability to accurately classify student satisfaction levels. In conclusion, this model can provide useful recommendations for the university to identify areas that need improvement to meet student expectations. Performance Evaluation of CNN-LSTM and CNN-FNN Combinations for Pneumonia Classification Using Chest X-ray Images
Pneumonia is one of the deadliest infectious diseases worldwide, particularly affecting children under five years old and the elderly, with a significant mortality rate annually. This disease is caused by bacterial, viral, or fungal infections, leading to inflammation in the air sacs (alveoli) of the lungs, which disrupts respiratory function. A major challenge in diagnosing pneumonia lies in the reliance on radiological expertise to interpret chest X-ray images, a process that is time-consuming and prone to errors in interpretation. This study aims to compare the performance of deep learning models, specifically the combination of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) with Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and CNN with Feedforward Neural Networks (FNN), in classifying pneumonia based on chest X-ray images. The results indicate that the CNN & LSTM model achieved an accuracy of 96.59%, a loss of 9.95%, precision of 96%, recall of 95%, and F1-score of 96%, slightly outperforming the CNN & FNN model, which achieved an accuracy of 96.13%, a loss of 12.16%, precision of 96%, recall of 94%, and F1-score of 95%. The advantage of CNN & LSTM lies in its ability to capture sequential patterns through LSTM, making it more effective in detecting positive pneumonia cases. In conclusion, the CNN & LSTM model outperforms the CNN & FNN model in accuracy, recall, and F1-score, making it a more reliable choice for automatic pneumonia classification. Comparative Analysis of the Performance of Four Symmetric Algorithms on Digital File Security
Information security is crucial to prevent misuse that could harm others. Information can be accessed through various electronic devices such as mobile phones, computers, and tablets in the form of text, images, audio, and video, whether public or confidential. In the digital era, image files are highly susceptible to authenticity risks as they can be easily shared through various communication media. This facilitates unrestricted digital file exchange, raising concerns about authenticity and the risk of modifications before reaching the recipient. Therefore, digital file exchanges require a security system to ensure that transmitted data remains original and intact. Cryptography is a field of study that protects data security in communication. It consists of algorithms and keys, where algorithms perform encryption and decryption, while keys enhance security levels. This study examines image encryption by using different key lengths with the same image, as well as encrypting images of varying sizes using the same key length, employing AES, DES, 3DES, and RC6 algorithms. The results show that the DES algorithm is the fastest in encryption and decryption compared to the other three algorithms. DES is 13.3% faster than 3DES and 10.2% faster than RC6. Additionally, the key length used does not significantly impact processing time, but image size greatly affects encryption and decryption speed. Tanaman selada sebagai salah satu jenis sayuran yang memiliki kandungan gizi tinggi dan digemari masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh berbagai jenis komposisi media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan Desa Sidobunder, Kecamatan Puring, Kabupaten Kebumen pada bulan Januari sampai Maret 2025 menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Non faktorial dengan 10 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan yaitu P0 = tanah (Kontrol), P1 = Tanah + Pupuk kandang , P2 = tanah + Pupuk kandang + Arang sekam , P3 = Tanah + Pupuk kandang + Arang sekam + Cocopeat , P4 = Tanah + Arang sekam , P5 = Tanah +Arang sekam + Cocopeat , P6 = Tanah + Cocopeat , P7 = Arang sekam + Pupuk kandang , P8 = Cocopeat + Pupuk kandang , dan P9 = Arang sekam + Cocopeat + Pupuk Kandang. Hasil panelitian respon berbagai jenis komposisi media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun, diameter batang, berat segar akar, panjang akar, berat segar tajuk, pH, dan berat kering tajuk, serta tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap lebar tajuk dan berat kering akar. Media tanam terbaik yaitu arang sekam + cocopeat + pupuk kandang.
