    Get PDF
This study finds that symbolism in memorial architecture plays a crucial role in shaping emotional experiences and fostering collective awareness of tragedy. The Aceh Tsunami Museum case studies and the Ground Zero Memorial reveal that design elements such as form, light, materials, and spatial arrangement are employed as meaningful symbolic media. In the Aceh Tsunami Museum, formal symbolism is evident in the spiral form and the façade inspired by traditional Acehnese houses, representing an emotional journey from fear to hope and a resilient local identity. Material and spiritual symbolism emerge through water, natural light, and reflective spaces like the Prayer Well. In the Ground Zero Memorial, symbolism is expressed through voids, flowing water, and the sunken plaza landscape, signifying loss and the healing process. The findings indicate that architectural symbolism reinforces historical narratives and cultural values and creates contemplative spaces that effectively evoke empathy and spiritual awareness

A mixed-method approach with multiple linear regression analysis was employed. The results show an average household income of IDR 7,657,162 per month, mainly from non-farm sources (51%), with food expenditure accounting for 33% of total spending and energy consumption reaching 82% (moderate level). Most households were classified as food secure. The regression model explained 94.8% of the variation in household food security (R² = 0.948), with food availability as the dominant factor, followed by accessibility, while utilization had a positive but insignificant effect. These findings highlight the critical role of food availability and accessibility as the main determinants of household food security, while utilization remains weak

    Get PDF
This study examines how technological innovation and financial technology support job creation in the MSME sector of Cilacap Regency, with digital entrepreneurship serving as a mediating variable. The re-search addresses the ongoing gap between strong MSME growth and limited employment absorption at both the national and regional levels. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study combines survey-based quantitative analysis using Structural Equation Modeling with qualitative insights from interviews that clarify technology adoption patterns, barriers to fintech use, and challenges in digital literacy. The find-ings indicate that innovation and fintech adoption positively affect job creation directly and through digital entrepreneurship, demonstrating the value of digital transformation for small business growth. However, these gains are constrained by unequal access to digital tools, limited technological readiness, and persistent literacy gaps among MSME actors. The study underscores the need for targeted digital em-powerment efforts, expanded access to technology, and stronger capacity-building programs to enhance MSME competitiveness. Strengthening digital skills and improving fintech utilization can support broa-der employment opportunities and contribute to regional economic resilience. These measures are essential for ensuring that digital transformation produces inclusive benefits, enables sustainable MSME development, and strengthens the overall capacity of local enterprises to generate stable employment in the region
