What Shapes User Expectations? Exploring Reliability, Simplicity, and Security in Digital Payments
As digital payment systems become increasingly integrated into everyday transactions, understanding user expectations and perceptions has become critical for service innovation and adoption. This study investigates how perceptions of benefits, convenience, and risk influence user expectations of digital payment systems among university students. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected via questionnaires from 96 accounting students at the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar, selected from a population of 2,770 using Slovin’s formula. SmartPLS 3.0 software was employed to analyze the structural model through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that perceptions of benefits, convenience, and risk all have significant positive effects on digital payment expectations. Additionally, the study examines the moderating role of user experience duration. Results show that user experience significantly moderates the relationship between benefit perception and expectations, as well as between risk perception and expectations, but does not moderate the relationship between convenience perception and expectations. These insights underscore the importance of trust and familiarity in shaping digital payment expectations, particularly among experienced users. The study contributes theoretically by integrating trust and perception frameworks, and methodologically by offering a structured approach to analyzing expectation formation in digital financial services
The Principle Pacta Sunt Servanda: The Alliance of Sahel States and Treaty Termination with France
The concept of Pacta Sunt Servanda is crucial for maintaining the stability of the international legal system, as it requires agreements to be respected and upheld as legally binding. However, the changing socio-political dynamics between former colonial powers and post-colonial states create difficulties in directly implementing this principle. This study explores this principle focusing on Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger (AES)'s ability to terminate the security and economic treaties with France unilaterally. Adopting a mixed method, which entails a triangulation between doctrinal and case study research approaches, this study investigates the sustainability of this international law principle in the face of Africa's awakening in the changing global power landscape. The aim is to uncover the patterns and motivations behind these states' disengagement decisions. The findings reveal that while Pacta Sunt Servanda supports respecting treaties, exceptions based on changes in circumstances may provide legal grounds for termination. The conclusion emphasizes that while the AES's unilateral terminations present economic and legal challenges, specific conditions could justify such actions within the framework of international law, hence the need for a careful and comprehensive interpretation of treaty obligations and rights

Damage Analysis and Repair of a Small-Scale ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle) Prototype Turbine During Testing
This research discusses the damage analysis and repair of an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) prototype turbine that experienced failure during testing. The damage occurred due to a collision between the rotor blades and stator blades, causing the rotor blade to break. The primary cause was identified as a manufacturing error in the turbine stator, where the flange holes were misaligned with the shaft. Additionally, the use of improper locking flange bolts and loose fitting on the coupling and stator shaft contributed to this issue. The research methodology included failure analysis using Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify potential failures and prioritize corrective actions. The results indicate that adjustments in the manufacturing process, the use of high-precision measurement technology, improved material quality control, and better technician training can significantly reduce the risk of future failures. Furthermore, evaluating operational conditions and conducting regular inspections are recommended to ensure optimal turbine performance. With the implementation of these corrective actions, the ORC turbine prototype is expected to operate more reliably and efficiently during testing and use. This research is expected to make a significant contribution to enhancing the reliability and efficiency of ORC system turbines, and provide guidance for the future development and testing of turbines
Meningkatkan Stimulasi Anak Usia Dini pada Olifant School Yogyakarta melalui Indra Penglihatan dan Peraba
In every child's developmental process, parents must consistently accompany and support them for optimal growth. However, with the changing times, many mothers are now compelled to work outside the home to meet family needs. The phenomenon of mothers working outside the home can have detrimental effects on the family, especially children in their crucial developmental phase from ages 0 to 6. In response to this concern, there is a need for childcare and schools that provide an environment tailored to children's needs, helping to stimulate their brains. Doktrin Kelalaian Kontribusi (Contributory Negligence) Terhadap Tanggung Jawab Bank Atas Kerugian Nasabah Akibat Kesalahan Atau Kelalaian Pegawai Bank
This study aims to examine in depth the application of the doctrine of contributory negligence in the context of bank legal liability for losses experienced by customers due to errors or negligence committed by bank employees. The issues raised focus on the extent to which banks can be exempted from legal liability by postulating the existence of contributory negligence from the customer, as well as the relevance of the application of this doctrine in the current legal system and banking practices in Indonesia. This study uses a normative legal approach with a literature study method and analysis of laws and regulations, especially referring to the provisions of Article 10 of the Financial Services Authority Regulation Number 22 of 2023 concerning Consumer and Community Protection in the Financial Services Sector. The results of the study show that in practice, banks as financial service business actors must still be responsible for customer losses arising from the negligence of their employees, regardless of whether or not there is a contribution of error from the customer. In addition, the doctrine of contributory negligence which is "all or nothing" is considered no longer relevant to be applied in a modern accountability system that emphasizes the principles of justice and consumer protection. Therefore, a review of the provisions that adopt the principle of contributory negligence in Indonesian banking regulations is urgent
