Infernal ride [version for brass band]
For brass band, duration 7 minutes. This work was inspired by Ichabod Crane’s final ride on his horse, Gunpowder, in the story 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow' by Washington Irving.
It was first performed by the Leyland Band conducted by Howard Evans on 27 January 2008 at the Royal Northern College of Music Festival of Brass.
