    Get PDF
This work analyzes the influence and efficiency of BYOD for learning students and academic perfection. The relevance of mobile technologies for learning has been substantiated. The influence of BYOD on academic performance of undergraduate students in terms of their test scores and final course marks, as well as on quality of work on selected course projects and on level of satisfaction with the BYOD course, has been experimentally studied. It has been proved that BYOD exerts positive influence on learning and academic achievements of students measured by their academic test scores, by their final marks and quality of their classroom work, as well as that the implementation of BYOD will stimulate and motivate students, thus affecting their level of involvement and creation of independent learning. The experimental results should be used as a guide for persons making decisions as well as for practical specialists in the field of education, especially in the area of BYOD and mobile learning, which will save significant expenses for stationary learning (for instance, concerning desktop computers, projectors, etc.). Scientific novelty of the studies is that the influence of BYOD on academic performance of students in terms of their test scores and final course marks, as well as on quality of students’ work on selected course projects and on level of satisfaction with the BYOD course, has been comprehensively analyzed

Academic self-efficacy is a powerful predictor of academic success, yet there are several factors that predispose it. Because of this, an explanatory model is proposed using the self-regulation of academic activities, positive affection, and personality. Hierarchical multiple linear regression was used to support the predictive proposal of the model. The Specific Perceived Self-Efficacy Scale of Academic Situations, The Scale of Positive and Negative Experience, Subscale Self-Regulation of Activities of the Academic Procrastination Scale, and Mini International Personality Item Pool (MINI-IPIP) were used. High correlations were obtained in the self-regulation of activities, positive affection, and personality (extraversion, concientousness and openness to experience) to academic self-efficacy. The final predictive model explained 30.1% of the total variance of academic self-efficacy. In conclusion, the model proposed through literature review is a strong predictor of academic self-efficacy and promotes the development of self-effective beliefs.

The required quantitative data was extracted and classified based on census and housing results during 2006- 2017 and after quantitative calculations, they were analyzed in order to adjust with the 1404 goals. In order to analyze the information, time series and factor analysis methods and central tendencies and dispersion were used. SPSS version 24, MINTAB version 17, AMOS version 24 and excel were used for data analysis. Based on the results, considering that there was a significant difference between the value of the mean calculated for each of the factors of the administrative system structure during 2006-2017 (the current administrative system of Hormozgan) and the values related to the administrative system of perspective 1404, so it can be said that there is a difference between the current administrative system of Hormozgan and the perspective of 1404 with the land use planning approach

Investigating the Financial Crisis of the Iranian Stock Exchange Using Transfer Entropy Method and comparing it with the Dow Jones Financial Market

    Get PDF
The focus of the present study is on the financial markets of Iran. In fact, the purpose of the present study is to examine the critical state of the Iranian stock market and compare it with one of the famous American markets called Dow Jones. The purpose of the financial crisis is to examine the effect of the interaction of companies within a market. According to modern financial theory, crisis is a phenomenon of market orientation and finding a negative preferred direction among companies. The stock market data of 180 companies of this market that were active during the period of 2008 to 2019 were used to investigate the financial crisis of the Iranian Stock Exchange. The results show that the average transfer entropy for 180 firms in the Iranian stock market is more random. That is to say, the observed declines do not correspond to the time periods of the crisis in the stock market. Although transfer entropy seems to be a good indicator for determining the period of crisis in the US Dow Jones market, it cannot be an indicator for determining the financial crisis for the Iranian stock market

    Get PDF
Nowadays, the importance of human resource risk in organizations has greatly increased, and some thinkers refer to it as a core competency and a key responsibility for any human resource professional. Thus, given the importance of the subject of the present article, the aim of this study is to analyze the human resource risk management framework and the factors influencing it. In this regard, using the library method, human resource risk framework was analyzed from the perspective of management science thinkers of Paul and Milcher, Ernst and Young, Meyer, Maenpaa & Voutilainen, Rotarsko, Li and Zhang, Pandey.  Then, the factors influencing human resource risk management were identified and mentioned, and Stevens' human resource risk policies and procedures were presented. Then, the perception of risk and the factors influencing attention to risk and action for it were stated.  In the final section, theories related to risk perception were discussed in the form of the Wild risk-homeostasis theory (1982) and the Naatanen & Summak zero-risk theory (1976). Studies show that human resource risk management frameworks provide a conceptual model for the systematic development and planning of human resource risk management activities. They are also useful for assessing and evaluating the level of human resource risk. These frameworks provide the basis for planning, evaluating, and implementing human resource risk management
