Students’values and their Mental Health During Pandemic
Values are widely studied concept by many researchers trying to explore how basic values influence the way individuals think, feel and behave (Durkheim, 1964; Weber, 1958; Hitlin & Piliavin, 2004; Rohan, 2000; Schwartz, 1992; Smith & Schwartz, 1997; Schwartz, 2006; Williams, 1968). Values are playing crucial role in the formation of individuals’ personality and this influence can be better explained by the components of these values which consist of how student perceive the reality, what they know, how they feel and the way they react to various situations. Taken together these components help to form certain attitudes toward different objects, other people and situations and serve as a basis for students’ motivation. Therefore, by influencing the attitudes and motivations of individuals values are having various consequences. The current study attempted to understand some of the psychological consequences of values on students’ mental health. The results of the study show that there are value differences for male and female students. In addition, the degree of anxiety and depression was assessed, and statistical analysis of the data shows that females are more anxious (F=0.24, p < 0.001) and depressed F=8.04 (p< 0.001) compared to male students and these differences were found to be statistically significant.Conformity, tradition, universalism, and power values were greater for females compared to males and these differences were statistically significant. Self-direction value was found to be more important to male students compared to female students and the difference was statistically significant. These findings lead to the conclusion that values that are having greater importance for females could be one of the factors contributing to their level of anxiety and depression while values being important for male students could be the factor helping them to cope with stressful situations. The development of further research would be suggested to explore the contribution of certain values to the level of anxiety and depression for students with more diverse and large sample
Typology and Factorial Conditioning of Suicidal Behavior of Adolescents
The problem of suicidal behavior of an individual continues to remain relevant, due to the increase in the number of suicides among people of different ages, on the one hand, and insufficient information about the factors of suicidal behavior of an individual. The purpose of the study is to identify the factors that determine the formation of a certain type of personality who committed suicidal attempts in adolescence. In order to identify the types of adolescent suicides, there was conducted a survey of 20 doctors in psychiatric clinical hospitals in Moscow. The survey results were processed using cluster analysis. To identify the factorial conditioning of suicidal behavior of each personality type, a complex of psychodiagnostic techniques was used, focused on the study of the characteristics of the emotional, value-semantic and behavioral spheres of the personality. The obtained empirical data were processed with the help of factor analysis. Three clusters have been identified that combine similar personality characteristics of suicides. It was specified that among adolescents there are the following personality types: “militant” (22%), “sacrifice” (54%) and “self-deprecating” (24%). Each type of adolescent suicide is due to the characteristics of the emotional, value-semantic and behavioral spheres of their personality. To develop targeted programs for the prevention of suicidal behavior among adolescents, it is necessary to take into account the results of the study, since such programs should be aimed at blocking the factors that form a certain type of suicide

Social Networks as Zones of Digital Personality Construction: Current Problems and Prospects
At present, the Internet and its mediated communication are an integral part of everyday life and social networks are becoming the main platform for self-presentation these days. The main tool for such self-expression in social networks is the selfie. The rapid rise in the popularity of selfies suggests that the very practices of self-representation are undergoing a major historical transformation. Research purpose is to study the features of selfies construction. Research methods: as a research method, a questionnaire survey was used as a method that allows quickly and effectively to investigate the features of using selfies as a way of constructing a digital personality. Research results: the article considers the forms of body control in social networks in the practice of constructing selfies. Research novelty and originality lies in the fact that for the first time the practice of selfies as a way of constructing a digital personality is considered. It is shown that self-identification is based on how the body is evaluated, and not on what it is actually. It is revealed that the body has become a carrier of meaning and a platform for communication with feedback, and the Internet, which has become the main repository of global data sets, has assumed the role of this communication control over the body. It is determined that in understanding the essence of the selfie phenomenon, there are two points of view: the selfie, as a continuation of the tradition of self-portrait and the selfie, as a special unique phenomenon associated to a greater extent with network media content. It is revealed that the main motive of self-presentation is the desire to be socially approved, to get the highest rating and the most flattering or loud comment. It is revealed that the hashtag is one of the structural elements of the selfie, through which the process of constructing the image is carried out. It is shown that an important motive for constructing a selfie is the user's need for a certain visual statement, self-expression. It is determined that in the production of selfies, the user is often guided by fashion trends and ready-made templates, which means that by regulating the real body in space, a successful representation of the digital body in the network is formed. The practical significance of the data obtained in this work lies in their use in social psychology, age psychology, marketing, as well as for further theoretical development of this issue
Predicting Academic Emotions based on Spiritual Well-being and Life Satisfaction in Students of Shahrekord Girls' Technical and Vocational School
The aim of this study was to predict the academic emotions based on spiritual well-being and life satisfaction in students of Shahrekord Girls' Technical and Vocational School. This was a descriptive correlational study. The study population consisted of all students of Shahrekord Girls' Technical and Vocational School in the 2018-2019 school year. A total of 210 students were selected by the stratified random sampling. The data were collected using the achievement emotions questionnaire (AEQ) (Pekrun, 2005), the spiritual well-being (SWB) scale (Paloutzian and Ellison, 1983) and The Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) (Diener, 1985). Statistical methods and multivariate regression analysis were applied to analyze the data. The results showed that spiritual well-being could predict the academic emotions like pride (β = 20%) and life satisfaction could predict the academic emotions such as enjoyment (β = 26%), anxiety (β = 24%), anger (β = 20%), hopelessness (Β = 31%) and boredom (β = 41%)
Media Consumption and Media Behavior of Contemporary Russian Youth as Constructs of Protest Identity
The relevance of the study topic is not only due to the very fact of the unauthorized gatherings in Russia on 24 and 31 January and 2 February, in which many young people, including minors, took part. The protests were inspired by the "Western mentors" of the Russian non-systemic opposition. It is equally important to understand the underlying reasons for the high involvement of young people in the protests in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and the Western sanctions regime that has been running for seven years. The objective of the study is to analyze the causes, anatomy, technologies, and forms of protest representations of contemporary youth in Russia. The authors focus on the behavioral patterns of young people, the mechanism and content of which are now forming in the Internet space with the help of social networks. The means of recognizing social reality, markers of evaluation and its interpretation by the youth audience, and an algorithm for action are set by the Internet and social networks. Today, in many ways, Western digital giants determine the media consumption patterns, media behavior, and social practices of Russian youth. In this situation, it is important for the Russian state not to restrict access to the Internet but rather to shape a high political media culture among modern youth
Does educational aspect solve immigration problems in France?
International immigration with different reasons such as education and citizenship is by no means a new phenomenon in the modern global world. Nevertheless, intense immigration was sparked and had serious implications, especially for European countries like France after the year 2010, which marked the start of the revolution in Tunisia and the birth of such a phenomenon as the Arab spring. After the end of the colonial era and the loss of colonial possessions by France, the French state encountered the problem of the influx of an infinite number of Arab and African immigrants who had considerable ethnic, religious and cultural-historical characteristics. Exacerbating the problem was that the distinctions seemed essential even when compared with immigrants from other countries, for example, Eastern and Southern Europe. The latter had a relatively similar culture and mentality to the French, and what is the main – a common Christian value matrix. As such, they did not become a problem for the governmental policy of integrating into the cultural space of the host country. European immigrants easily sipped republican values, legal norms, traditions and customs, while making a break with their tradition of the past. However, the growth of immigrant population belonging to a different culture and religious heritage led to the fact that the strategy of the French state in this direction began to become ineffective. It is obvious that the old mechanisms of adaptation, such as obtaining French citizenship and education, do not solve emerging problems, but only generate new ones. As a result, a mutual rejection of the indigenous population and the newcomers intensified, stimulating a buildup of tension in society. As a result, this gradually turned into a matter of preserving national identity for the former, while into a matter of ensuring the survival of themselves and their children for the latter
