Peningkatan Retensi dan Hasil Belajar Siswa melalui Penerapan Guided Discovery Berbantu Puzzle Word Game untuk Kelas X SMA
This study was aimed to improve retension and achievement student in X IMERSI IPA 2 class of SMA Negeri I Karanganyar through the implementation of Guided Discovery by the use Puzzle Word Game. This research was a classroom action research that divided into several cycles, each cycle includes four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research is the students of X Imersi IPA 2 class of SMA Negeri I Karanganyar in academic year of 2013/2014. The data are obtained through the test ( essay ) and non test (observation, interview and documentation). The data are analyzed through descriptive analytical techniques and validated through triangulation techniques.The results show that retension and students achievement is increased in Pre-cycle, Cycle I, and cycle II. The average of retension the improvement in Pre-cycle, Cycle I, and cycle II sequently are (66,67%;85,47%;96,47%). Students achievement is viewed from the increase of students learning completeness consisting of cognitive, psychomotor, and affective. The result of percentage attainment average from cognitive aspects in Pre-cycle, Cycle I, and cycle II sequently are (44,44%;61,11%;89%). Pshycomotor students achievement consist of three aspects, those are communicating the results of experiments and worksheets in the presentation, arranging porthopolio from the result of experiment and the benefit of Echinodermata and Mollusca in life, and observing the specimen as experiment object. The result of percentage attainment average from Pshycomotor aspects in Cycle I and cycle II sequently are (64,12%;81,01%). Affective students achievement include of three aspects which are being meticulous in observing object from results of the experiment, being discipline in collecting worksheets, and being cooperative in a group of discussion. The result of percentage attainment average from Affective aspects in Cycle I and cycle II sequently are (61,80%; 76,23%). Based on the results of the research it can be concluded that the implementation of Guided Discovery model assisted by the use of Puzzle Word Game can improve the students retension and achievement of X Imersi IPA 2 at SMA Negeri I Karanganya
PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BLENDED LEARNING MELALUI MEDIA GAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 1 BRONDONG TAHUN PELAJARAN 2017/2018
Education is the most important in human life especially with the development of science and technology as a supporter in education. The main problem faced by the world of education is the low level of student learning outcomes. Based on the results of field observations obtained data, that the average score achieved in grade VIII students less than KKM. So need to do research by using blended learning model. This study aims to determine the effect of blended learning model of learning outcomes of students of SMP Negeri I Brondong academic year 2017/2018. This research belongs to Quasi experimental research by using pretest-post test. The instruments used in this study are pretest and posttest test. The data obtained from this research is then analyzed using t-test. Based on the results of research on the effect of learning model of blended learning through the media of image on the students of class VIII SMPN I Brondong Lamongan Year 2017/2018 that is the influence of learning model blended learning through the media images of student learning outcomes on the subject of excretory system. The result of the research shows that there are significant differences in the results of the class biology study which are studied using the conventional model and the class that is taught using the blended learning model through the media of the picture in the VIII students of SMP Negeri I Brondong. The result of data analysis of student learning result showed that the average value of cognitive domain of experimental class is 76.2 while control class is 72,4%. From the analysis of data can be concluded the average value of the experimental class is higher than the control class. It is there influence the learning model blended learning through the media images of student learning outcomes.
Pengaruh Guided Discovery berbasis Lingkungan terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Siswa SMA
The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Guided Discovery Based on Environment method application toward students’ creative thinking skill. This study was a quasi-experimental study using Posttest Only Control Design as a research design. The population in this study was the students of tenth grade in the second semester of SMA N 1 Sukoharjo In The Academic Year 2013/2014. The sampling technique used Cluster Random Sampling. The experiment class is X IPA 1 and the control class is X IPA 2. The data were collected by test and non test. The datas were analysed by t-test. The result of the research showed that the Guided Discovery application method has an effect on students' science process skill. The highest aspect average of creative thinking skill in the experiment class was obtained in fluency aspect that is 95%, while the lowest in originality aspect is 80%. Based on the sequence of the aspects of creative thinking skill from the highest to the lowest. In details, the creative thinking skill was measured by flexibility : 95%, fluency : 87%, elaboration : 82%, originality: 80%. Whereas in the control class, the sequence from the highest to the lowest is flexibility : 93%, fluency : 82%, originality : 69%, elaboration : 65%. The conclusion of this research was Guided Discovery learning method was had significantly affecting the students’ creative thinking skill
Perbandingan Hasil Belajar Materi Sistem Pencernaan Makanan Pada Model Pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching yang Menggunakan Game Smart Case Dengan yang Tidak Menggunakan Game Smart Case Peserta Didik SMA Negeri 1 Barru
This study aims to determine the comparison learning outcomes digestive system material in reciprocal teaching learning model used game smart case with not used game smart case students SMA Negeri 1 Barru. The sample in this research is the students of class XI MIA 4 as experiment class 1 and class XI MIA 7 as experiment class 2 which amounts to 70 students obtained by using simple purposive sampling technique. This research uses quasi experimental research design pretest-posttest non equivalen comparison group design. The cognitive learning outcomes were measured using a multiple choice test of 30 numbers and a description test of 5 numbers on the dietary material of the digestive system. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive statistic and inferential statistic using paired sample anacova test with significance level 0,05. The result of t test statistic for students' cognitive learning result is 0,004 means Ho is rejected and H1 accepted so that it can be concluded that there is a comparison learning outcomes digestive system material in reciprocal teaching learning model used game smart case with not used game smart case students
Pengembangan Model Pembelajaran Group Investigation Media Vido Story Pokok Bahasan Keseimbangan Lingkungan Untuk Meningkatkan Berpikir Kritis Siswa
Tuban Regency is one of the areas that holds the potential of nature, this can be seen from the number of large factories established in Tuban Regency. The existence of this large factory causes changes in the surrounding environmental balance. Based on the results of observation of learning in SMA Muhammadiyah 03 Bancar class X on the subject of environmental balance is still conventional with the lecture method and discussion of this matter leads to less interesting and boring learning therefore there needs to be a development of learning models where students can engage in a social solution Namely the Group Investigation learning model (GI). The purpose of this research is to develop a model of learning by using the environment as a learning medium that is packaged in the form of video story to cultivate students' critical thinking skills. The students' critical thinking ability can be measured from aspects of identifying problems, interpreting, giving relevant ideas and drawing conclusions. This type of research is a research development, which is the development of a learning model that is very appropriate for the material of environmental balance class X semester even, the resulting draft then validated by two experts and one teacher as a user. The results showed the average validation of two experts and one user is 83.529% which indicates valid criteria and is worthy of use. From the results of small-scale test results amounted to 15 students who analyzed with the normalized gain obtained N gain> 0.7. These results indicate that there is a significant improvement in critical thinking of the students so that it can be concluded that the development of this learning model is very valid and feasible to be applied to improve critical thinking of the students
Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar menggunakan Tipe Jigsaw pada Materi Jaringan Tumbuhan Siswa Kelas VIII SMPN 2 Pematang Karau dengan Media Leaflet
Classroom action research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Pematang Karau Pematang Karau Subdistrict, East Barito Regency. Problems experienced by teachers is on the learning process has not been maximized. There are 33 students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Pematang Karau, 8 students of whom are willing to interact actively. Learning outcomes average grade VIII students was 45. Whereas Minimum Competence Score is 75. This study result to improve learning outcomes using Jigsaw Type cooperative model on the topic of Plant systematics. The study was conducted two cycles. Based on the results it can be concuded that the implementation of Jigsaw cooperative learning can improve learning outcome
Analisis Kemampuan Berfikir Kritis Siswa yang Bergaya Kognitif Reflektif dan Impulsif pada Pembelajaran Biologi melalui Model SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Review, Recite) dengan Media Kartu Bergambar
In the curriculum of 2013 critical thinking ability is a demand that must be implemented, but in reality the process of learning in the class has not been empowering students' critical thinking skills. Then besides critical thinking another aspect to note is the aspect of cognitive style. This study aims to determine the ability of critical thinking students’ cognitive reflective and impulsive style. The subjects of this study are the students of class VII A SMP Negeri 4 Tuban as many as 23 students, with 13 students with reflective cognitive style, and 10 students with cognitive impulsive style. Data collection technique in this research is MFFT (Matching Familiar Figures Test) developed by warli (2010) to know cognitive style and critical thinking test based on Ennis indicator (2011), then data about critical thinking of cognitive-style students Reflective and impulsive, was analyzed using nonparametric statistics through the Mann-Whitney test. The results in this study show the similarities between students who are reflective cognitive style with students who have cognitive impulsive style in students' critical thinking ability, because the result of the students in the same reflective style with impulsive students is because this subject is taken from the sample Class VII A where the class is the preferred class (superior). Thus it can be concluded that students' critical thinking ability with reflective cognitive style does not differ with cognitive impulsive students in Biology learning through SQ3R model (Survay, Question, Read, Recite, And Review) with pictorial card media
Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar dan Keterampilan Berfikir Kritis Siswa melalui Pendekatan Inkuiri pada Konsep Ekosistem Kelas VII A SMP Negeri 3 Kusan Hilir
Based on the results of science learning process in SMP Negeri 3 Kusan Hilir, in the learning process especially KD 7.2 and KD. 7.4 on Ecosystems, learners are always given conceptual learning and teachers are reluctant to invite directly to the environment to learn, learners do not do the learning in groups so that learning is still centered on the teacher. Such learning leads to the lack of creativity and involvement of learners in the learning process that impacts on the classical completeness of only 60%. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability to think critically about what is happening in their environment and to instill environmental ethics in their minds, that the importance of environmental sustainability for the present to the future by using Inquiry approach. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). This study was conducted 2 cycles in accordance with the effective learning time of 8 hours lesson. Cycle I as much as 2 meetings and cycle II as much as 2 times meetings. Subjects in this study were students class VII A SMP Negeri 3 Kusan Hilir which amounted to 22 students consisting of 10 women and 12 men. The results showed that by using the Inkuiri approach can improve students' critical thinking skills from classical mastery 13.63% in the first cycle of meeting 1 to 45.50% at the 2nd meeting and 68% in the second cycle of meeting 1 to 95% At the meeting 2. The cognitive learning outcomes of learners have increased from classical completeness 22.72% in the first cycle of meeting 1 to 55% at meetings 2 and 77% in cycle II meeting 1 to 95% at the meeting 2. The implementation process Lessons from the less category in the first cycle of meeting 1 become sufficient category at the 2nd meeting and from the good category in the second cycle of meeting 1 become very good category at the meeting 2. Positive student response to the learning process using Inquiry approach
