Integrasi Infrastruktur Sepeda dan Zona Selamat Sekolah
The purpose of this study was to investigate the pedestrian behavior of school children when crossing the road and to review the road design factors from the student's house to the school, such as consistency, continuity, attractiveness, safety, comfort, spatial integration, experience, and socio-economic value, in order to integrate bicycle infrastructure designs with school safety zones. This study was designed qualitatively with data from the experiences of 100 child participants aged 12-15 years following the flow and route to school. Participants was asked to fulfill questionnaire consisted of 10 points of system reports and 41 points of audit statements on road infrastructure factors that were traversed to school. Data analysis used the school safety zone theory (ZoSS) and eight levels of bicycle service. The findings of investigative research that participants understood the standard 4T guarding, but inconsistent with the right-looking procedure. This makes the front area of the school requires a school safety zone (ZoSS) as a reminder for students to apply the correct traversing procedure In addition, the findings of the audit of infrastructure factors that support well-planned infrastructure. The result contains recommendations to improve and enhance road infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists for school children with the integration of bicycle service levels into school safety zones (ZoSS)
Kendala Transit Time Performance Pada Proses Pengiriman Barang
This study aims to determine the constraints on the Transit Time Performance at the DHL Express Service Center Karawaci. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The samples studied were 27 respondents. In this study, using 17 types of main categories (types of causative factors). The results of the factor analysis test show that of the 17 types of main categories that survive in the model and group them into 5 factors, the factors that affect the constraints on Transit Time Performance. These factors are the number of employees with a percentage of 40%, the work hours factor of employees with a percentage of 30%, the scanner performance factor with a percentage of 20% and the bonus factor with a percentage of 10%. The dominating factor is the number of employees which has a percentage of 40%. The factors that are formed are then analyzed using the Fishbone Diagram method to determine the causative factors graphically, so that the company can take preventive and corrective actions to reduce the error rate in service quality.
Persepsi Penjaga Perlintasan Kereta Terhadap Shift Jaga Di Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Pada Daop 1 Jakarta
This study discusses about train traffic and guard shifts in the covid-19 pandemic era whether it affects the perception of the train crossing guard (PJL) performance in the work area. This reseach used quantitative and qualitative method where the questionnaire distributed to the train crossing guard (PJL) in the working area of Daop 1 Jakarta. The result of the study showed that Partial t test of calculated values and tables then the value t calculate > t table where the guard shift (X2) gives a positive influence on perception (Y), while train traffic (X1) has no influence on perception (Y). Simultaneous F test if the value of F calculates > F where F calculates = 15,683 is greater than F table 3.04 meaning that train traffic (X1) and guard shift (X2) simultaneously affect perception (Y) with a value of 14.4%
Studi Perbandingan Prosedur Penanganan Barang Perishable untuk Cold Storage di Pelabuhan dan Bandara Internasional di Jakarta
This study aims to analyze the different handling procedures of Perishable goods in the cold storage area at the seaport and airport in Jakarta, as well as to increase the efficiency, benefits of more effective and efficient warehousing in the flow of the handling process. The location of this research is at Tanjung Priok Port and Soekarno Hatta Airport. The research's focus on surveying the location where observation is carried out in closed and open warehouses also conducts layout analysis and observes, studies the process of receiving and storing goods in the warehouse. This research is descriptive qualitative to describe in-depth about the different procedures for handling perishable goods at seaports and airports in Jakarta. The data are primary and secondary. Primary data from interviews and surveys, secondary data from the company, and various supporting literature. The research informants were Cold Storage business players at ports and airports as well as from the Indonesian Cold Chain Association. The data analysis technique used the approach developed by Miles and Huberman. The results showed the differences in both procedures, capacities, and reference standards, although the type of goods handled was the same as perishable goods
Evaluation of the Implementation of Traffic on the Road in the School Safe Zone (ZoSS) in Depok
The implementation of the School Safe Zone (ZoSS) provision program in the Depok City area for early childhood education, basic education and education that has not been implemented optimally is in accordance with the objectives of implementing the ZoSS program. The purpose of this research is to increase traffic awareness in the area to school, where many parents, teachers and children do not care about good driving and care for the safety of themselves and others. The problem in this study is the lack of public awareness of how to get to the school area safely. The research method uses descriptive qualitative data collection methods by interviewing children who go to school in Depok and secondary data from journals. The results showed that the application of ZoSS in the city of Depok has been implemented with priority in 7 elementary schools (SD) with traffic signs and officers optimally
Efektivitas Penerapan Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) di Selat Sunda terhadap Keselamatan Pelayaran
The purpose of this research is to identify the effectiveness of VTS implementation in Sunda Strait and to determine the factors of VTS Merak Station operational staff obstacles in carrying out the work instructions for monitoring and identifying ships disturbances to formulate immediate action in order to ensure the shipping safety. This descriptive method research used qualitative approach by conducting an analysis of the VTS implementation suitability with the regulations at Merak Station. The regulations have been set by the Directorate General of Sea Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation in terms of VTS service SOP documents congruence with operational staff qualifications. The results show that the implementation of the VTS service at Merak Station has been carried out in accordance to the SOP though it is still facing obstacles; shipping companies and ship’s crew who do not fully understand the purpose of applying VTS in Sunda Strait. Moreover, not all VTS staff are certified related to navigational knowledge/skills (eg. VTS certificates) and to Nautical/Technical knowledge/skills (eg. ANT Certificate). Based on the research results, it is recommended that a system to communicate and coordinate should be built between regulators; the Navigation Directorate of the Directorate General of Sea Transportation and stakeholders, to ensure that VTS services at Merak Station could be implemented based on the regulations
Keselamatan Kerja Dan Penanganan Peti Kemas Terhadap Kinerja Operasional Pada Perusahaan Pelayaran
Services offered by logistics companies cover shipping expedition and airship expedition as well as warehousing. One of the services is called Moving Storing Location (PLP), and hoarding them at Temporary Storage (TPS). The purpose of this study iss to identify the problem at the regulation of container stacking and to improve good operational performance during the loading and unloading process and container handling in the stacking yard. This research used 2 methods. The first method was field research with 100 population and 80 samples. The second method employed multiple regression analysis, validity, reliability, F, and T test, and coefficient of determination to analyze the data. Based on the product moment correlation analysis, it is found that r = 0,853. It shows that the level of correlation between these variables is in the strong and moderate category. The inter-variable correlation test (hypothesis testing 1) or tcount resulted in 12,447 > ttable 1,991 whereas the hypothesis testing 2 obtained 13,088 > ttable 1,991. Based on the result, Ho is rejected and Ha iss accepted which means both variables affect occupational safety significantly
Fungsi Gudang Transit dan Pendistribusian Barang Kebutuhan Kapal Charter
The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of Freight Forwarding and warehouse services on the distribution of goods needed for vessels to chartered vessels. The method used a quantitative method with the data analysis of multiple linear regression, coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing (t-test and f-test). From the analysis and discussion results, there is a proportional relationship between Freight Forwarding services and Transit Warehouse to the distribution of goods which is indicated by the multiple linear regression equation of Y = 6.972 + 0.917 X1 + 0.083 X2. The coefficient determination is 67.9%. The result of the hypothesis test simultaneously shows that the value of F_count = 28.546 is more than F_table = 3.35 because F_count is greater than F_table. It means, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. In conclusion, there is a positive influence between Freight Forwarding services and Transit Warehouse on the distribution of goods
PENGARUH KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE GO-JEK INDONESIA TERHADAP LOYALITAS PELANGGAN DI JABODETABEK
Interpersonal communication is one important aspect for customer service in a company which engaged in services. This research was conducted to observe the influence of interpersonal communication of Go-Jek Indonesia’s customer service on customer loyalty in Jabodetabek and what other factors may come into play to achieve such result. The principle theory used in this research is the theory of interpersonal communication with customer loyalty as the supporting theory. The research method used is the quantitative explanative method, by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents of Go-Jek Indonesia’s users who have contacted the customer service. This research uses the Likert scale as the measurement scale. From the results of research found the contribution of interpersonal communication of Go-Jek Indonesia’s customer service value equals to 37,3% on customer loyalty in Jabodetabek, with result of regression coefficient value equal to 0,552 and constant value equal to 32,444.Keywords: Interpersonal communication, customer service, customer loyalt
HUBUNGAN KOMPETENSI DAN DISIPLIN DENGAN KINERJA AWAK ARMADA KAPAL SUNGAI
Performance and quality of the river fleet crew and productivity can be achieved if the crew has high discipline. Discipline is an aspect which contributes to decide things to be done in order to achieve certain goals.Continuous training indicates a level of responsibility to carry out the work in accordance with the abilities, skills and knowledge (initiative). A high discipline on a river flotilla crew will have a positive impact on performance. It means more training a river flotilla crew have more work can be completed and maintained. Based on the hypothesist, there is a significant positive relationship between the performance and competence of river fleet crew. It shows H1 is accepted. The second one, there is a significant positive relationship between the performance and discipline of river fleet crew, shown by H2 is accepted. The last one, there is a significant relationship between both competence and discipline and performance of river fleet crew that H3 is accepted
