Evaluating Airport Passenger Terminal Service: Type A Standards
Terminal is a major node in a network which are collections of the overall trajectory. But now the existence of a passenger terminal does not function effectively, it is seen from the low utilization by the user terminal transport services. Hence, the aim in this study was to evaluate airport terminal service against type A standards. This study was conducted at the Passenger Terminal Type A Tirtonadi Surakarta using descriptive and quantitative research methods, with a sample size of 355 people. Data were collected through an instrument in the form of sheets of questions with Likert scale models that have been tested. The study used the analytical techniques Importance Performance Analysis. Results of the first study, it was concluded that the quality of service in Terminal Tirtonadi ie 81.41 are on service quality category B with satisfactorily. Second, the level of conformity Terminal services Tirtonadi not met the expectations of service users. Thirdly, it was concluded that the services are a top priority for improvement is the safety information that is easy and clear, the Internet network facilities, battery charging facilities, waiting room, and the arrival and departure of vehicles as well as the tariffs of public vehicles
Pengaruh Brand Image, Harga, Dan Ketepatan Waktu Pengiriman Terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Pada Jasa Pengiriman J&T Express Cabang Bekasi Tahun 2021
This study aims to determine the effect of brand image, price, and timeliness of delivery on purchasing decisions at J&T Express Bekasi branch in 2021. The research method used is quantitative methods and data collection methods using a survey method with a questionnaire. The sampling technique in this study used probability sampling with a simple random sampling approach, using 100 respondents. The test was carried out using the SPSS version 21 program. The result of this study indicates that brand image has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions where the results of the partial test show that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meanwhile the price did not have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions whereas the results of the partial test show that Ho is accepted. and Ha is rejected, and timeliness of delivery has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions where the results of the partial test showed that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. As a simultaneous test results showed that brand image, price, and timeliness of delivery have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions where the results of the simultaneous test show that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Suggestions given in this study include the company is expected to always improve the quality of service related to company employees in serving consumers and improve the quality of delivery of goods so that there are no delays
Faktor-Faktor Penyebab Terjadinya Kecelakaan Kerja Saat Mengelas di Atas Kapal
The purpose of this study is to determine the causes of welding accidents on-board. The problem of work accidents is caused by the lack of the ship’s crew discipline to use the safety equipment while working. The data processing method was using descriptive method. The researchers tried to observe the cases that often occur on the ship related to the previous problem and note the causes and solutions to improve the ship’s crew discipline while working. The main potential hazards for hot work activities on vessels are fire and explosion. The implementation of the hot work permit system at Merak, Banten Port is in accordance with NFPA 51 B 2009 of Standard Fire Prevention during Welding, Cutting, and other Hot Work
Tingkat Kesesuaian Kinerja dan Harapan Pelanggan pada Terminal Peti Kemas Tanjung Priok
Tanjung Priok Container Terminal is a terminal that serves the loading and unloading process of containers with high service performance standards. Termnal Container customers expect the performance of the services provided by the company to meet their satisfaction or expectations. This study aims to determine the level of conformity between service performance and customer satisfaction or expectations at the container terminal. This study analyzed the data of 67 Container Terminal customers obtained by providing a questionnaire to the customers. The results of the suitability level analysis show that the service performance provided by the container terminal management is satisfied or very satisfied because it has a conformity percentage of 91.93%, besides that the index value of the gap or gap between performance and customer satisfaction / expectations is at -0.28. Where at this value, Container Terminals generally have met customer expectations, but in terms of reliability and assurance, it is still necessary to improve so that it is expected to increase the number and loyalty of Container Terminal customers
Pelaksanaan Keselamatan Dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3)Terhadap Upaya Zero Accident
The purpose of this study was to determine how the effect of the implementation of occupational safety and health (K3) and behavioral awareness (K3) of the depok-antasari toll road service operational officers on zero accident efforts at PT Citra Waspphutowa. This research was conducted on 48 respondents using a quantitative descriptive approach. By using two independent variables, namely the implementation of occupational safety and health (K3), awareness of behavior (K3) and one dependent variable, namely zero accident efforts. This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of occupational safety and health (K3) (X₁) and awareness of behavior (K3) (X₂) on efforts to zero accident (Y). The results of this study show simultaneously (F test) the variables of the implementation of occupational safety and health. (K3) and awareness of behavior (K3) together have a positive and significant effect on zero accident efforts with a contribution value of 67.3%. Partially (T test) awareness of behavior (K3) has a positive and significant effect on zero accident efforts.
The Performance of Aviation Security Personnel Services at Sentani Airport
Some of the efforts that can be made to improve aviation security performance are by implementing security screening and airport security programme. The study was conducted at Sentani Airport in 2019 using quantitative methods, with the number of research samples taken in total saturation of 50 personnel at Sentani Airport. Data collected through instruments in the form of statement sheets with ordinal scale models that have been tested, linear regression, partial or simultaneous. The research is using path analysis technique. Based on the results of the study show that security screening has a direct effect on flight aviation security of 2.224 and there is a direct influence of airport security programme on Aviation Security Performance of 4.186 and there is a significant positive effect of security screening on airport security programme is 5.491 and based on the results of the study shows that Security screening indirectly has an effect of 1320,879 on Aviation Security Performance through mediation of Airport Security Programme.
Efektivitas Perjanjian Kerja Laut Sebagai Syarat Kelaiklautan Dan Kesejahteraan Anak Buah Kapal Indonesia
Safety is one of the conditions that should be met for a ship to be seaworthy. Besides safety, the welfare of the ship’s crew (ABK) should be guaranteed. The aim of this research is to provide input to the Ministry of Transportation about the welfare conditions of ship’s crew on Indonesia flag state. The data analysis method used in this study was qualitative, means that the data collected was based on the problem on-board, in the form of a questionnaire to 400 Indonesian ship’s crew of Indonesian ships (size 300 GT above domestic shipping and size 500 GT above foreign shipping). The results of the analysis shows that the need for improvement of the Ship’s Articles documents in accordance with admiralty/nautical laws which are the ship’s crew gets salary without any benefits, the average work exceeds the specific working hours, minimum accommodation facilities, unfulfilled full compliment of health insurance and employment, as well as the absence of compliance with national sea transportation companies to fulfill the contents of the ship’s articles
Analisis Kualitas SDM dan Layanan Keagenan Perusahaan Pelayaran Nasional di Indonesia
This study aims to analyze the quality of domestic ship agency human resources at PT PELNI (Persero) Tanjung Priok Branch using descriptive methods and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques and reliable questionnaires. The results of the research data above, namely the variable X regarding the quality of human resources owned by PT PELNI (Persero) Tanjung Priok Branch as many as 53% answered doubt, while in the Y variable regarding Agency Services for ship agency customers, 30% answered. So it can be denied that the quality of human resources affects the agency services of domestic vessels at PT Pelni (Persero) Tanjung Priok Branch. The performance of the agency service quality of PT PELNI (Persero) Tanjung Priok Branch has decreased due to the lack of expertise possessed by the employees who serve it. So that to improve the quality of the agency owned by the company, it is necessary to pay attention to things such as: Training aimed at increasing knowledge, skills and attitudes, good communication coordination between colleagues, superiors, subordinates and customers, division of job duties, speed of agency services and accuracy of reporting and Network marketing enhancement
Analysis of Processing Rare Earth Elements from Monazite as Tin by Product Mineral
This paper focuses on industry attractiveness of processing monazite into Rare Earth Elements (REE). The analysis is using Porter’s Five Forces (PFF). PFF is a framework for the industry analysis and business strategy development developed by Michael E. Porter. In addition, we took four of the six Politics Economic Social Technology Environment and Legal (PESTEL) analyzes to see if there is an impact of these four factors in deriving the conclusion. With combined factors of increasing demand on China’s domestic and the soaring world consumption of growing-demand products have impacted to shortfall of supply. The total demand for selected REE in 2040 is projected to increase around 300% compared to 2010. With current supply unless new Rare Earth Oxides (REO) production is developed, the shortage will become even wider. Based on PFF analysis the Rare Earth (RE) Processing Industry is currently attractive. It indicates that the existing players are enjoying healthy margin. Three factors are showing weak, they are: threat of entrance, rivalry amongst existing player and threat of substitution. The bargaining Power of supplier and bargaining power of buyers are both classified as moderate. In general, the industry outlook is promising as it is predicted the demand still outstrip the supply for the next 5-10 years
Produktivitas Combined Terminal Trailer Bongkar Muat Petikemas di Teluk Lamong
PT Terminal Teluk Lamong is a subsidiary of Pelindo III which is an expansion of Tanjung Perak Port which is engaged in container services. The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of the availability and waiting time of a combined terminal trailer on the loading and unloading productivity of PT Terminal Teluk Lamong. The problem of this research is the inadequate number of combined terminal trailers, the occurrence of waiting trucks, inadequate number of combined terminal trailers, changes in location, weight of containers transported by CTT, the high level of damage to the combined terminal trailer, difficulty in spare parts or spare parts. The results showed that there was a significant effect between the availability and waiting time of CTT on loading and unloading productivity where the correlation coefficient test showed 0.848 which means that there is a very strong influence. Meanwhile, the correlation coefficient of determination test shows that the influence between the availability and waiting time of CTT and loading and unloading productivity is 71.9% while the remaining 28.1% is influenced by other factors
