BUSINESS STRATEGY OF PT MONANG SIANIPAR ABADI (MSA) CARGO SOEKARNO HATTA CENGKARENG IN 2015
Get PDFPT Monang Sianipar Abadi (MSA) Cargo is freight forwarding company that serve in shipping goods domestically and internationally, customs clearance and imported warehouse sales or warehousing. MSA Cargo has some branches that focus more on import division to increase imported warehouse space. The objective of this study is to find out the exact business strategy of this company by using SWOT analysis method. The result of the study shows that the company strategy is horizontal strategy. This strategy is gained from 2 SWOT matrix methods, which are IE matrix and SPACE matrix whose data are produced from the result of IE evaluation Matrix with the internal factor of (3.01) and the external factor of (2.98) for IE matrix data and for SPACE matrix, the data are gained from IE evaluation matrix balanced total with the horizontal X axis of (0.63) and vertical Y axis of (0.84). Therefore, by using the integration of horizontal strategy, the company will have a big control of the competitor companies
EVALUATING TIME OPERATION OF FLOATING CRANE ON COAL’S LOADING OF PT HANDIL BHAKTI PERSADA IN TABONEO HARBOUR SOUTH KALIMANTAN
Get PDFPT Handil Bhakti Persada, a coal mining company catering its domestic and international customers, owns a terminal to support its sales operation. This study was focusing on the time operation of floating crane on coal’s loading in Taboneo Harbour, South Kalimantan in 2013. The objectives of this study were (1) to know the real time floating crane operation (2) to know time operation’s planning of floating crane (3) to know the efforts done by the company on real time operation of floating crane. This study used descriptive qualitative approach to find out the loading level of coal. Horizontal and vertical analyses are used in this study. The horizontal analysis was used to compare real time activities both absolute and relative on certain time achievement. Whilst vertical analysis was used to describe activities trends on certain time achievement. This study showed that the real time coal’s loading production on 2011, 2012, 2013 did not reach the target. This study recommended PT Handil Bhakti Persada to (1) make schedule for the operators (2) maintain loading equipment (3) supervise operational budget

To find out the procedure of services and containers supply, to analyze the number of containers achieved based on the target, and to fulfill the containers availability, the researcher is using descriptive evaluative method. The result shows that the number of export containers’ availability in PT. JSS is 61 % based on the coming order and daily update which are informed by the containers’ depo of logistics division. Some efforts need to be done to fulfill the needs of containers which are borrowing from the same principal shipping agency and/or moving to the other principal which has the same purpose and containers’ availability

Get PDFThe international trade and activities have elevated the bustles in Husein Sastranegara International Airport, Bandung. Therefore, it needs more control in apron administered by the Apron Movement Control (AMC) that has licenses and ratings to do the job as the supervisor of flight operation activities, control, aircraft movements, traffic, and cleanliness control in the apron areas. The objectiveof this study is to analyze the relationships between control unit in Apron Movement Control (AMC) and the discipline of apron service users in Husein Sastranegara International Airport. The research method used in this study is qualitative design. The result of the study based on the hypothesis shows that the value of t count = 6.71 while t table = 1.734 in level of significance is 5% . Since t count > t table (6.71>1.734) consequently, Ha is accepted and Ho is denied. This study shows that the hypothesis is proved to be true that there is a relationship between the control unit of Apron Movement Control (AMC) and the discipline of apron service users in Husein Sastranegara International Airport, Bandung in 2014
ANALISIS PENGENDALIAN PERSEDIAAN RAW MATERIAL SPARK PLUGS PADA PT DENSO INDONESIA JAKARTA TAHUN 2014

One of the products is spark plugs that contain insulator, housing, talk ring, ring form, gasket ring, nut lathe terminal, washer, and cup cutting. The questions formulated are how the company controlled the spark plugs productions, how the company arranged the economic order quantity / EOQ, safety stock, re-order point, maximum inventory, and total inventory cost, and how effective EOQ in controlling the company’s stock. The analysis method used in this study is EOQ. Based on the result, the EOQ set by the company was 12.560 units, the safety stock was 34.927 units, the spark plugs ordered 170 times in a year with 46.615 units of the stock, and maximum inventory was 47.487 units

The researcher is using quantitative and simple linear regression analysis (Sugiyono, 20018: 272) to find out the effect of terminal facilities services for the passengers. The result shows that there is an effect of terminal facilities services for the passengers in Husein Sastranegara airport from March to May 2014. The –t count > -t table (5.177 > 1.833) which means Ho is rejected. If Ho is rejected, then there is a significant effect between the services quality to the passengers
