In Jakarta, the sidewalks for pedestrians, are not only bad but also switched functionally. With that being said, sidewalks and zebra cross have become meaningless. PELANGI, one of the Non-Governmental Organization (LSM) that works dominately on the urban studies, mentioned that 65% of the accident on main roads, sadly involved the death of pedestrians, whereas 35% of the victims are underaged kids. These facts, though, have to be considered as our motivation to work on the sidewalks, making it suitable and comfortable to be walked through (walkable). Being supported and encouraged by the qualitative method and literature, indeed, pedestrians also have the same rights in using the roads

In the last 10 years, the practice of logistics in the industry changing very remarkable. Global competition in the market of products and services to encourage the diversity of products to meet the needs of market segments are also diverse, high standard of product quality, timely delivery of goods is very dependent on the condition of public infrastructure provided by the government of a country. As a result, the demands of efficiency in higher logistics activities, including the level of security quality, safety and service. The lack of infrastructure support and the absence of "hub port" nationwide; poor management of interconnection or intermodal system between port infrastructure, transportation and warehousing as well as lower network capability, information technology led to the position of Indonesia is low in terms of competition and the logistics performance index compared with many countries in dunia.Tujuan research is to formulate the concept of multimodal transport role in realizing the Vision Logistics Indonesia 2025. The data was collected through a literature review, research results, and related scientific publications. The analysis uses qualitative descriptive approach, as well as to evaluate the public policy analysis to formulate the concept of multimodal transport role in realizing the vision of Indonesian Logistics 2025. ANALISIS LEVERAGE KENAIKAN TARIF PROGRESIF DAN JAMINAN COMMUTER LINE TERHADAP TINGKAT OKUPANSI PENUMPANG (STUDI KASUS JALUR BOGOR – MANGGARAI)
Aim of the research is to review and analyse the impact of changed fares scheme in Commuter Line’s passengers. The changed fare is based on progressive tariff scheme and increment of the ticket deposit (additional amount of money will be levied on top of the fare to be paid). The sampling is taken from the densest Bogor to Manggarai service as a main transit hub to the passengers who entering Jakarta. The research is based on associative analysis with the usage of the secondary data. The secondary data in form of time series data has been collected from PT. KAI COMMUTER JABODETABEK with research period is 1 (one) month before and 1 (one) month after the new changed fares scheme is implemented. The use of price elasticity of demand (PED) model has been chosen in order to measure the effect of law of demand on the Commuter Line’s passengers. The result of the research shown that the implementation of a new changed fares scheme has impacted on the number of Commuter Line’s passengers with the price elasticity value is 1.22. The new changed fares scheme will give significant change in demand and tend to be a perfectly elastic demand that consumers have an infinite ability to switch to alternatives if the price increases. However, the influence of the new tariff scheme is much higher compare to increment of the ticket deposit. Public transportation is a derived demand which the demand is influenced to products that carried (e.g. passengers), it forced PT. KAI to do improvement and taken into consideration of new policy issuance. Despite on tariff issue, there are factors contributed such as on-time schedule, density in each railcar with the passengers, tidiness, security, service and customer satisfaction. These factors will improve service level of the commuter line service as a main alternative for public transport services that relieve road congestion
G-TRANE INFORMATION SYSTEM AND EMPLOYEES’ PERFORMANCE AIR FREIGHT DEPARTMENT OF PT NISSIN TRANSPORT INDONESIA
PT Nissin Transport Indonesia is a freight forwarding company in export and import sector. The main problem of the study is whether G-Trane information system and the employees’ performance influence the productivity of air freight department. The aim of this study is to acknowledge and to analyse the influence of the used information system and the employees’ performance towards the productivity of air freight department. The writer used three methods of collecting data; field research, questionnaire, and library research. Multiple regression analysis, multiple correlation, coefficient determining, as well as hypothesis testing research are used in this study. The result of this study is shown by the multiple linear regression equation of Y= 13.403+0.319 +0.224. , with the coefficient correlation of 0, 64 and determining coefficient of 40,96%. The result of the hypothesis testing research also shows that Fhitung > Ftabel or 4,55 > 3,8, which means Ho is rejected but Ha is accepted. It means there is a positive and significant influence of the G-Trane information system and the employees’ performance towards Air Freight department’s productivity

PT. DHL Global Forwarding is a freight forwarder company, which is engaged in freight forwarding, logistics and deliver exported and imported goods. The problem in this research is the influence of the data repair (redress) to the on-time clearance at PT. DHL Global Forwarding Indonesia in 2015. The purpose of the study was to determine the influence of the data repair (redress) to the clearance on time. To solve this problem, the authors use qualitative methods of Logical Framework Approach (LFA). Authors collected data through observation and interviews to 5 employees as a sampel. By using the LFA analysis, showed that the improvement of data (redress) greatly affect on-time clearance, due to the improvement of data (redress) indicates that the data are subject to rejection or reject so it takes 1-5 days to process correction means exceeds Key Performance Indicator (KPI

PT. Multi Terminal Indonesia is a terminal operator specialized in loading and unloading goods in containers and bulk cargo. The purpose of this research is to find out the factors created the obtacles when loading and unloading scrap, the real problems and effective solutions need to be taken by the company. The research is using fishbone diagram. Using the questionnaire response, the researchers get the factors which are: 1. Materials (the on time performance of trucking part), 2. Machines (loading and unloading complete facilities and equipment), 3. Facilities (Back up area), 4. Machines (the number of loading and unloading scrap), 5. Materials (the number of trucking for each shift). The effective solutions are the company should provide some armadas to be used when in need and ask the owner to prepare everytime in need
AN ANALYSIS OF THE LACK OF SOCIAL MEDIA ACCESS AND INFORMATION SERVICE BY CTC (CAWANG- TOMANG-CENGKARENG) TOLL WAY USERS IN PT JASA MARGA (PERSERO) TBK
PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk is a toll way developer in Indonesia. Jasa Marga has built and opened thirteen toll ways managed by nine branches and one subsidiary company, PT. Jakarta Outer Ring Road. The length of the toll ways is 496 km or 78% of the length of toll ways in Indonesia which reached 630 km. PT. Jasa Marga, Tbk has 102 CCTV cameras and 19 cameras on Cawang-Tomang-Cengkareng toll way. Knowing the influence of social media and information service on Cawang-Tomang-Cengkareng toll way that provided by PT. Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk was the purpose of this research. Questionnaire and field research were used in this research. The fishbone analysis was used to analyze the data. The result of this research showed that the socialization about toll road condition by social media and information service for user was not optimal. There were 14 of 30 respondents or 46.67% said Yes that they knew about the current traffic condition by social media and 13 of 30 respondent or 43.33% said Yes that they knew about the current traffic conditions by information service. Due to the lack of socialization and cooperation with mass media caused toll way users did not know about current traffic condition that made congetion on the toll way
