    STRATEGI PEMASARAN JASA FREIGHT FORWARDING JAKARTA

    The aim of this research is to find out the external and internal factors and to analyze strategy formulation to increase freight forwarding marketing services. This research used SWOT analysis, internal and external matrixes. The results based on the SWOT analysis are the strength 3.83, the weaknesses 3.40, with the margin 0.43, and the opportunity 3.57, the threat 3.18, with the margin 0.39. The company takes place in quadrant I of SWOT in which the company has big strength and opportunity, so that the company is in SO strategy. Based on IE matrix, it is found that the internal factor 3.13, external factor 3.00, so that the company is in cell I which is in growing and developing position. So, the strategies that can be applied are market penetration, market development, and product development or the strategy of integration backwards, forwards and horizontal. Moreover, the results based on SWOT analysis diagram and IE matrix also found that alternative strategies are market penetration, market development, product development, backward integration, forward integration, horizontal integration

    Undang-undang Republik Indonesia No. 1 tahun 2009 tentang penerbangan yang disyahkan oleh Dewan Perwakilan rayat dan Presiden Republik Indonesia merupakan acuan dan standar keselamatan penerbangan sipil yang harus dipatuhi dan dilaksanakan oleh seluruh perusahaan penerbangan yang beroperasi di di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman, kepatuhan dan tanggung jawab konsumen penerbangan domestik di Indonesia terhadap Undang-undang Republik Indonesia No. 1 tahun 2009 tentang penerbangan. Kenyataannya masyarakat pengguna jasa penerbangan masih ada yang belum memahami, patuh dan tanggung jawab terhadap peraturan tentang keamanan  dan keselamatan penerbangan yang berlaku di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan berbagai asumsi yang mendasarinya dengan menggunakan 74 responden penumpang penerbangan domestik di Indonesia. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah untuk dapat memberikan masukan yang berharga kepada pemerintah selaku regulator dan perusahaan penerbangan selaku operator dalam hal perlunya pemahaman, kepatuhan dan tanggung jawab dari konsumen penerbangan di Indonesia terhadap isi dari Undang-undang Republik Indonesia No. 1 tahun 2009 tentang penerbangan yang terkait dengan penumpang perusahaan penerbangan

    PENGGUNAAN SISTEM APLIKASI OUT OF GAUGE DENGAN BAGGAGE HANDLING SYSTEM PADA TERMINAL 3 ULTIMATE DOMESTIK DI BANDARA SOEKARNO- HATTA

    This research was aimed at finding out the effect of one application system to the other app system. To solve the problems, the researchers were using two kinds of data collecting methods which were field research (observation and interview) and library research. The researchers were using descriptive comparative to analyze the data collected. The data taken was qualitative data. The data sources were primary data from observation and interview and secondary data from books, journals, reports, and others. The result shows that there is a large discrepancy between the two systems application: out of gauge and baggage handling. It is due to lack of facilities of out of gauge app and unclear SOP (standard operating procedure) and lack of baggage safety of baggage handling system. For the last part, it is because of bad conveyor structures though baggage handling system is considered still better than the out of gauge app.

    Analisis Terminal Peti Kemas dan Kapal serta Arus Peti Kemas Pelabuhan Tarakan

    Tarakan Port is a container terminal where goods are sent using containers. The objective of this research is to figure out and analyze whether in the following years the container terminal of Tarakan Port is capable of handling the ship and the container flow. The method in collecting the data were field research and library research. In this study, descriptive analysis was used as the method with trend analysis as its analysis tool. The result of the study shows that the container terminal of Tarakan Port is capable of serving the flow of the containers with the capacity of container crane and reach stacker in the amount of 156,555 box/year and 149,100 box/year.. However, the value of berth occupancy ratio (BOR) of this particular terminal exceeds beyond 40% of the value defined by UNCTAD (United Nations Conference On Trade And Development). It can be concluded that PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) as the service provider in Tarakan Port should add a number of docks and improve the facilities in order to serve the increasing of container flow in 2017-2018

    PT. Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk is one of the highway service providers in Indonesia. The company has already been trusted to take the responsibility in building a number of highways in Indonesia. The objective of this research is to figure out the number of vehicles’ queues at Cikarang Utama Toll gate. The method applied in this research were field observation, unstructured interview, library research, and company data taken. From the result of the analysis, it can be seen that the service time of cash transaction in each toll booth at Cikarang Utama Toll gate is 11,11 second/ vehicle. The number of vehicles passing Cikarang Utama Toll gate are 2449 vehicles. The service time of non-cash transaction at Cikarang Utama Toll gate is 8,92 second/ vehicle. The number of vehicles passing Cikarang Utama toll gate within 1 hour using non-cash transaction is 2660 vehicles. The time difference between those two transactions is 2,19 second/ vehicle. The difference in number of vehicle passing the Toll gate within 1 hour is 211 vehicles

    The aim of this research is to prove the effect of speed to the cost of transportation. The research problems are how much the effect of the ship speed, how much the cost for distributing fuel, how much the fuel consumption, what threat factors that will influence the cost, and operational design in ship distribution. The analysis of the data used linear regression statistical analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, the determinant coefficient analysis and hypothesis test. The samples of the data were 32 voyage ships. The result shows that the ship speed is fast, in fact it is faster than guaranteed speed so that it gives impact to the fuel cost due to the increase of fuel consumption

    This study refutes the procedures for transporting dangerous class 1 and 7 goods from trailers or ships to stacking fields and vice versa at Tanjung Priok Port Container I Terminal, and compares the procedures for moving containers, dangerous goods, classes 1 and 7 used by loading and unloading companies load I Container Port of Tanjung Priok Port with the IMDG convention code, 2004, specifically during fires and leaks. The main problem in this study is which one can change the IMDG code that has been applied in the transfer of containers containing dangerous goods class 1 and 7. This study uses a descriptive comparative method. The results of the study concluded that the application of trucks directly lost and directly loaded trucks could lead to accidents or recovery in the field. Implementation of the separation system regulations in accordance with the IMDG Code regulations, but still found inadequate personal protective equipment facilities such as breathing apparatus, safety gloves, ear plugs, face and eye protection equipment

    PENGGUNAAN PRODUK E-TOLL TERHADAP KUALITAS PELAYANAN PADA GERBANG TOL CILILITAN

    This study aims to determine the effect of e-toll on the quality of service at Cililitan toll gate. The research method used descriptive verification with data analysis using simple linear regression. Primary data was obtained through direct survey to e-toll users at Cililitan toll gate, Jakarta, with a sample of 50 respondents. The result of the research shows that the use of e-toll has a positive and significant effect on the service quality of Cililitan toll gate, Jakarta. The limitation of this research is that the influence of e-toll usage is not only influenced by service quality but can be influenced by other factors. It is necessary to do further research related to those other factors by developing the study at other toll gate so that the standard of Automatic Gate Service (AGS) can be applied to toll services

    Pengaruh Pelaksanaan Ramp Check terhadap Keselamatan Penerbangan di Terminal II Bandar Udara Soekarno-Hatta

    The purpose of this research is to identify the influence of flight safety ramp check implementation in Terminal II Soekarno Hatta airport in 2017. The method applied in this research was quantitative method using simple linier regression, correlation coefficient analysis, and hypothesis testing to analyze the data. The result shows that there is a proportional relation of the ramp check implementation towards the flight safety. This can be seen from the simple linier line equationwhich is Y = 29,754 + 0,524 X. The analysis also shows a strong relation of the ramp check implementation towards the flight safety that can be seen from the coefficient correlation r= 0,406, and the hypothesis testing tcount= 2,130 > ttable= 1,714 thus HO is rejected and Hais accepted. This means that there is a significant influence of flight safety ramp checkimplementation in Terminal II SoekarnoHatta airport

    Finding a solution in overcoming the bottleneck problems, we need to focus on the factors that affect the bottleneck . DKI Jakarta as the capital city has a very busy activity intensity, because it is the center of activity not only from indigenous people but also from residents around the region such as from Bekasi, Tanggerang, Depok and Bogor. Hence, it needs to subscribe an integrated transportation system with all related area. The purpose of this research is to find the causal factor of congestion that happened in DKI Jakarta in order to determine the most relevant transportation system policy applied in DKI Jakarta. By purposive sampling and quoted sampling method, there were 30 respondents from road users and communities around Jalan Cawang - Grogol and Kota Tua - Harmony. In processing questionnaire data, SPSS program version 19 was used with Descriptives analysis method. The result of this research is there are 3 order of the top ranking factors which cause traffic jam in DKI Jakarta that is 1). The use of Personal Vehicle in Jakarta is very high, 2). The use of two-wheel motorcycles in Jakarta is very high and 3). Vehicle volume is not proportional to road capacity
