    The purpose of this study is to analyze the delay arrival of passenger trains towards the operation performance of Jakarta first district operation. The problem of this study is the delay arrival of the passenger trains and the operation performance of Jakarta first district operation. The data collection used an unstructured interview method, library research, and the company’s data. The data was analyzed with a simple linear regression method and the basic calculation of the delay arrival of passenger trains and the operation performance. The result of the delay arrival of passenger trains (X) towards the operation performance of Jakarta first district operation (Y) is 38.44%, in which the result of the interpretation towards the correlation coefficient is 0.62. The result shows a strong correlation

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui : Pengaruh perencanaan frekuensi bus siap operasi terhadap pengawasan jumlah penumpang, Pengaruh headway terhadap pengawasan jumlah penumpang, dan Pengaruh perencanaan frekuensi bus siap operasi dan headway terhadap pengawasan jumlah penumpang. Pokok permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengaruh perencanaan frekuensi bus siap operasi dan headway terhadap pengawasan jumlah penumpang pada PT. Primajasa Perdanarayautama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, lokasi penelitian di PT Primajasa Perdanarayautama, Cawang, Jakarta Timur. Penelitian dilakukan selama 2 bulan dari Januari sampai dengan Maret 2018. Populasi penelitian berupa data perencanaan, evaluasi bus siap operasi dan pelaksaanaan jumlah penumpang. Populasi tercatat ada 48 minggu. Untuk menentukan jumlah sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin dan dari hasil perhitungan dengan rumus tersebut didapatkan jumlah sampel 32,4 ≈ 32. Jadi, jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 32 data sekunder yaitu data perencanaan frekuensi bus siap operasi dan headway terhadap pengawasan jumlah penumpang di Primajasa Perdanarayautama. Teknik sampling menggunakan probability sampling. Pengumpulan Data menggunakan Wawancara Tidak Terstruktur dan Penelitian Lapangan (Field Research) serta Penelitian Kepustakaan (Library Research). Data yang diperoleh diuji melalui uji validitas, reliabilitas, deskriptif variabel, uji koefisien korelasi, koefisien penentu, t table dan uji hipotesis. Teknik Analisis Data menggunakan Analisis Regresi Linear Sederhana dan Analisis Korelasi sederhana. Dari hasil analisis dan pembahasan menunjukkan persamaan regresi berganda yaitu Y = 2318.301 + 2231.636 X1 + (-60.779) X2 yang berarti mempunyai pengaruh positif. Koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,805 yang berarti mempunyai pengaruh yang rendah. Koefisien determinasi sebesar 65% yang berartinya 765% dari pelaksanaan jumlah penumpang ditentukan oleh perencanaan dan evaluasi bus siap operasi sedangkan 35% ditentukan oleh factor lainnya

    The purpose of this study is to find out the effectiveness of strap purchase between company system and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. A strap is used to bond a cargo. Each strap has different qualification that depends on the purpose and types of cargo. The problems that happened in ground handling company are strap availability, incompatibility procedure, irregularity strap used, and employees understanding in using strap that they mighthinder airline services. It makes cargo flit hampered and it reduces the strap lifetime since it is damaged due to the ineffective cargo.It happened because the amount of goods loaded into the plane is not appropriate to the kinds of strap used. This study investigated strap procurement in PT Jasa Angkasa Semesta. The method of this study was Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) by comparing the prevailing system. The result shows that the number of economical straps is 208 units each month with the amount of safety stock is 7 units, reorder point id 47 units, and the average of maximum inventory is 215 units each month. The total different of strap provision between company system and EOQ system is Rp. 2674938 (68.12%)

    THE IMPACT OF POTENTIAL MARKET TOWARDS SHIPPING CARGO VOLUME SURVEY TO EASTERN INDONESIA

    The aim of this study is to determine and analyze the impact of potential market towards shipping cargo volume. The lack of modes of transport cause high cost of shipping goods to the eastern Indonesian region. It forces people in Eastern Indonesian region become consumptive. The potential market in Eastern Indonesian region is very large and still very possible to be explored deeper that could be an opportunity for PT AP Logistik Surabaya to attract the customers. This research used both methods of data analysis using simple linear regression analysis, correlation analysis, determinant coefficient analysis and hypothesis testing. The sample was 80 respondents taken from PT AP Logistik Surabaya customer who ship their cargo to Eastern Indonesian region. From the analysis and discussion shows the impact of potential market towards shipping cargo volume which is indicated by a simple linear regression equation is Y = 32,251 + 0.456X, if the Potential Market (X) value is zero (0) or constant, the value of Shipping Cargo Volume (Y) will equal by 32,251. Based on the analysis of the correlation coefficient r = 0,483, meaning that there is influence between (X) and (Y) positive direction and moderate correlation. Determinant coefficient test shows 20.3%, while the remaining is 76.7% which is explained by other variables or factors that is not included in this model. The test result shows that the hypothesis is tscore >ttable (4.8712 > 1.665). Then, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that there is significant relationship between potential market towards shipping cargo volume

    The purpose of the study was to find out the efficient way in deciding the route to maximize the fuel distribution from Plumpang depot to every gas station. The method used was qualitative descriptive with saving matrix and nearest neighbor technique analysis. Using the qualitative data to gain information used to solve the problems, the method was able to find out the best route by considering the vehicles’ capacity and demand from each customers. The data were the distance between depot and gas stations, the distance between gas stations, the demand of each customers, and parking area of vehicles’ capacity in the gas stations. The result shows that by using the analysis of saving matrix and nearest neighbor, the minimum distribution route and lessening the time consumed in distributing can be applied

    PT. Dianta Daya Embara is one of the logistics company in Indonesia dealing with documents and package delivery. The purpose of the research is to figure out the strategy of the company to increase the number of document deliveries. The writer was using field research by observing the company while doing the internship program, interviewing the general manager, and spreading the questionnaire to the managers and supervisors of the company. SWOT analysis was used to analyse the data. The result of the EFI matrix shows that the strength of the company lies in the cleanliness of the warehouse. Based on EFE matrix, the opportunity of the company lies in the market place and business growth. Based on IE matrix, the company is in cell II in the position of growing and building. The study suggests the company to increase the number of delivery by giving additional delivery service for “express package.

    Singapore Airlines is one of the best full service airlines in the world. The problem of the study was the effect of service quality of the airlines to the passengers’ loyalty of Singapore-Jakarta route in 2017. This study was aimed at finding out the above statement. To analyze the problem, the researchers were using analysis of simple linear regression. The data was taken from 154 passengers’ statement of SQ 958 Singapore-Jakarta route. The result shows the low effect of X and Y variables. Based on t-table result that Ha is accepted while Ho is not accepted, there is a significant and positive low effect of X (service quality) and Y (passengers’ loyalty) variables

    The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of leadership style and motivation at work to the employees’ performance of PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) at Adi Soemarmo Airport in Surakarta. The quantitative method was used in this study. The analysis was using simple and multiple linear regressions. The sample was 33 employees of Airport Operation Service and Hospitality division at the airport. The result of the study are (1) the leadership style positively and significantly effects the employees’ performance of 94.4 %, (2) the motivation at work positively and significantly effects the employees’ performance of 88.4 %, and (3) simultaneously both the leadership style and motivation at work positively and significantly effects the employees’ performance of 95.2 %

    The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of service quality topassengers’ satisfaction at Lombok Internasional Airport, Praya. The study applied quantitative method by distributing questionaires to 154 passengers of Citilink and Batik airlines from Lombok to Halim. The result of the study shows that there is a strong correlation betwen service quality and passengers’ satisfaction. The contribution value of service quality is 52,1% towards passengers’ satisfaction at Lombok International Airport, Praya
