Integrasi Quality Function Deployment (QFD) dan Conjoint Analysis untuk Mengetahui Preferensi Konsumen
The advantages of QFD is to translate customer need into a technical response. But QFD has some disadvantages related to the difficulties in distinguishing the difference of needs between consumers, difficulties to fulfill the needs of different consumer groups, and the exietence of conceptual gap between consumers and companies. The proposed method to overcome these disadvantages is conjoint analysis. The main advantage of conjoint analysis is the ability to get the optimal design combination for products or services based on consumers' preference. The result of conjoint analysis, estimation of perceived value, and integration of QFD can be used to know the preference market needs among consumers, identify the office desk, determine consumer segments and technical respons, and estimate the additional price of office desk attributes as an effort to the development of the office desk. In overall the best Office desk combination results based on consumers' preference of Office desk is the white color without additional drawers or supporting features, with table size is 120x60x75 cm and footstool. Segmentation based on preferences resulting in three clusters, namely size, color, and availability of drawer. The highest technical response to be the company's priority in meeting the needs of consumers is to make the proper hole connection. Based on the perceived value, the company is capable to predict that the additional prices of 1 drawer is Rp.1-Rp.500.000, the addition price of 2 drawers is Rp.800,000 - Rp.900.000, and the addition price of the foundation of the foot is Rp.50.000 - Rp.150.000, and the additional price of supporting features is Rp.150.000-Rp.250.000.Keywords: Quality Function Deployment (QFD), conjoint analysis, segmentation and perceived value.AbstrakKeunggulan QFD adalah menterjemahkan customer need menjadi respon teknis. Namun QFD mempunyai kekurangan terkait sulit membedakan antara beragam kebutuhan konsumen yang bertentangan, sulit memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen yang berbeda kelompok, dan kesenjangan konseptual antara konsumen dan perusahaan. Untuk melengkapi kekurangan QFD, diusulkan metode conjoint analysis. Keunggulan utama conjoint analysis mampu mendapatkan kombinasi desain yang optimal untuk produk yang melekat pada preferensi konsumen. Hasil integrasi QFD dan conjoint analysis serta estimasi perceived value dapat mengetahui preferensi konsumen meja kantor, mengidentifikasi segmen konsumen meja kantor, menentukan respon teknis, dan mengestimasi harga penambahan atribut meja kantor sebagai upaya pengembangan meja kantor. Secara keseluruhan hasil kombinasi meja kantor terbaik berdasarkan preferensi konsumen meja kantor adalah warna putih, tidak membutuhkan penambahan fitur laci, tidak membutuhkan penambahan fitur pendukung, ukuran meja 120x60x75 cm, dan terdapat tumpuan kaki. Berdasarkan segmentasi preferensi terbentuk tiga klaster, yaitu klaster warna, klaster ukuran, dan klaster ketersediaan laci. Secara keseluruhan respon teknis yang menjadi prioritas perusahaan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen adalah pembuatan lubang sambungan yang tepat. Berdasarkan hasil perceived value, perusahaan dapat memperkirakan harga penambahan 1 laci berkisar Rp.1 - Rp.500.000, penambahan 2 laci adalah Rp. 800.000 – Rp. 900.000, penambahan tumpuan kaki Rp. 50.000 – Rp. 150.000, dan penambahan fitur pendukung Rp. 150.000-Rp. 250.000

Cloud Manufacturing is an advanced manufacturing model which provides services by utilizing a shared resource pool such as computers, servers, networking, Internet and application softwares. The term Cloud Manufacturing in the engineering literature is still fairly new. it comes from the term Cloud Computing which is earlier known as Internet services on demand. Here includes Software as a Service (SaaS) along with infrastructure, platform and other delieveries as a service. First introduced by F. Tao in 2011, Cloud Manufacturing combines the latest technologies such as cloud computing, internet of thing, manufacturing object virtualizations and service-oriented computing services. The advanced manufacturing service models related to this terminology will be described as literatur reviews in this paper. Perancangan Aplikasi Sistem Penilaian Kinerja Karyawan dengan metode MBO dan BARS (Studi Kasus PLTA Maninjau)
Along with the development of science and technology today is so rapid, required human resource capacity and reliable quality which will support companies in improving the quality of the company. In response to the demanding needs of qualified human resources, Maninjau hydropower which is a branch of PT PLN and under Power Sector Bukittinggi, have tried to prepare the workforce to meet the requirements demanded by the busin ess. Way to do is to assess employee performance. Employee performance appraisal that applied hydropower Maninjau currently not able to see the performance and achievement of each employee. Hydroelectric Maninjau should improve the assessment of employees. The method can be done in assessing employee performance include the Management By Objectives (MBO) and Behaviorally Anchored Rating Scale (BARS). For the fast growing data needs, then designed an application performance appraisal in hydropower Maninjau with BARS and MBO method.Application design is done by surveying systems, system analysis, system design and performance of the MBO method BARS, employee performance appraisal application design, and manufacturing applications, as well as verification and validation. Making an application is done using Microsoft Excel. Once the application is successfully validated, then the application implementation. Implementation is based on the employee's performance on the most recent period, namely 1 last semester (January-June) were conducted in June, 2013.Based on the validation has been done, it can be concluded that the application has to be used by hydropower Maninjau in assessing employee performance. As for the results of the implementation of applications, it can be seen that the performance of the employee on hydropower Maninjau in the last period was on average 80%. The assessment includes an assessment of the achievement of business results and work with behavioral weight ratio, 60% for work objectives (MBO) and 40% for work behavior (BARS)
Perencanaan & Penjadwalan Distribusi Pakaian Jadi dengan Metode Distribution Resource Planning
The tight competition in the business world nowadays, especially after the signing of AFTA and ACFTA agreements calls for an increased competitiveness of domestic industries especially the garment industries. High quality products, competitive prices and the availability of products in the ever changing fashion market are the key factors to win the competition.Distribution is one of the important activities as it is directly related to fulfilling customer needs. Right products must be available in the right quantity and right condition and at the right time. Product availability in the market should be strong to prevent lost sales. However, a high service level means high inventory costs. Companies need tool to manage their inventory.This research proposes the planning and scheduling of distribution at XYZ using the Distribution Resource Planning (DRP) for product X102 for five selected distributors (Surabaya, Bogor, Pekalongan, Sidoarjo and Probolinggo) using the Exponential Comparison Method (ECM). The DRP results show that XYZ must issue production orders in the 3rd, 5th, 7th periods for X102 in the amount of 150 units. Fulfillment of all demands of consumers who come to the product is one thing that always wanted to be achieved by a company. These requests are not independent of the company's ability to manufacture certain products. CV Cherry Sarana Agro manufactures a wide range of agricultural equipment, one of which is the product hydrotiller and hammermil. Demand for both products are always in large numbers for each period, however, the company could not meet the entire demand. One of the main factors that led this small company's production capacity for these two products is not optimal scheduling of machines made by companies, causing many to be a queue on a particular machine so that the total process operating time becomes very large. Scheduling method is used to optimize the scheduling of machines working on the report of this practice is actively scheduling method and the method of non-delay scheduling. The data needed to perform scheduling with both of these methods is the data used machines, data processing operations and data processing time of operation. With these three data, can be compared to the actual scheduling done by the company with the scheduling is done using active scheduling method and the method of non-delay scheduling. The most optimal scheduling is obtained after comparing the three methods used are scheduling using the non-delay scheduling. This method was chosen because the resulting make span is much smaller than the two other methods. Perbaikan Rancangan Kruk Ketiak untuk Penderita Cedera dan Cacat Kaki
Kruk merupakan tongkat/alat bantu berjalan untuk orang yang memiliki keterbatasan fisik karena cacat atau cedera, biasanya digunakan secara berpasangan untuk mengatur keseimbangan tubuh saat berjalan. Kruk biasanya terdiri dari dua jenis yaitu kruk ketiak (Axillary Crutch) dan kruk lengan bawah (Forearm Crutch). Kruk ketiak pada umumnya terbuat dari aluminium karena berat jenisnya yang relatif ringan, namun memiliki kekuatan mekanik yang relatif rendah, sehingga pada beberapa kasus kruk aluminium mengalami bengkok saat digunakan. Kruk ketiak yang diusulkan oleh [1] dan [2] kurang praktis untuk dibawa, penutup kruk yang licin dan mudah rusak, serta ketinggiannya yang tidak mudah diatur sesuai keinginan. Pada makalah ini dilakukan studi untuk mengusulkan alternatif material pengganti yang lebih kuat dan sekaligus mengatasi masalah kekurangan kruk yang diusulkan oleh peneliti sebelumnya. Material yang dipertimbangkan dalam kajian adalah aluminium, baja karbon, dan stainless steel. Material terpilih untuk diusulkan sebagai material pengganti adalah stainless steel, penggunaan material ini dapat mereduksi bobot kruk sebanyak 28,6% dari 1,75 kg menjadi 1,25 kg. Agar kruk praktis dibawa, diusulkan sistem geser dengan tiga komponen penyusun utama yaitu tiang penyesuai jangkauan, tiang utama dan tiang penyesuai ketinggian, dengan sistem ini kruk memiliki panjang yang bisa disesuaikan yaitu panjang minimal 100 cm dan panjang maksimal 150 cm. Tiang utama kruk dibagi menjadi dua bagian, panjang masing-masing tiang utama adalah 50 cm dan 45 cm sehingga lebih mudah dilipat untuk disimpan dan dibawa. Penutup ujung kruk menggunakan karet agar tidak licin, karet tersebut dimasukkan ke dalam pipa tiang utama sehigga lebih tahan terhadap tekanan. Pegangan kruk dirancang dengan kemiringan yang bisa disesuaikan, rasio penyesuaian kemiringan yaitu 14,4o agar posisi tangan dan pergelangan tangan lebih baik dan nyaman saat penggunaan, tetapi derajat kemiringan kruk rancangan ini masih lebih besar 2,4o jika dibandingkan dengan kemiringan yang ergonomis yaitu sebesar 12o

The production process is one of the several main activities in industries. The process followed by quality control to achieve expected final products. Products' conformities to design specification can be achieved through direct measurement. However, not all measurements can be done directly while the process is running. Inconformities to product's design specification could result in unfunctional or rejected products. This will render producers into losing their profits. Technology plays a major role in simplifying products' measurement processes. Advancement in technology made it possible to automate measurement processes and will also make it possible to do during the production process in achieving expected quality control as early as possible. The quality control yield measurements in products'lengths, widths and depths/ heights which will control products' dimension and generate quality control chart. The proposed prototype will allow measurements of product dimension and data acquisition directly during the process without disrupting on going processes
Penentuan Interval Waktu Perawatan Komponen Kritis pada Mesin Turbin di PT PLN (Persero) Sektor Pembangkit Ombilin
Electrical energy requirements in Indonesia annually increase in line with economic growth and an increase in population. So, PT PLN (Persero) have to be able to fulfill the public demands for electrical energy. One of the power generation existed is Steam PowerGeneration. The condition of power generation depended on the maintenance, so, well maintenance made power plant operated at ease condition. Production process in SteamPower Generation of Ombilin used a closed cycle or continuous process. If a machine or an equipment damaged, it will stop the whole function. In the production process, the company involved several main engines are boiler, turbine, condenser, and generator. But the damage often occurs in turbine engine which caused the generation power in Steam PowerGeneration of Ombilin can not operate. Therefore, it needs a maintenance action of machinery/equipment to be able to prevent the damage. The right strategy to keep the engine operating is determining the optimal maintenance interval of equipment for minimizing downtime.The stages of this research begin by determining the critical engine with Criticality Analysis method. Then, the determination of the critical components using Pareto diagram. Then, the determination of the probability density function (pdf) and the reliability of critical components. After that, the determination of maintenance intervals of the critical components by using the criterion of minimizing the downtime that will be used to make maintenance scheduling.Based on the processing data has been done, it was found that the critical engine is a turbine engine with a total value is 44 and the critical components of a turbine engine are membrane turbine, bearing and turning gear with the examination time interval for each critical component are 960.48 hours (40 days), 908.57 hours (37 days) and 1150.28 hours (48days). While the preventive replacement intervals for components of turbine membrane is after operating for 3410 hours, the replacement for bearing components can be carried out during overhaul after operating for 8000 hours and the replacement intervals for components of turning gear is after operating for 4500 hours. The reliability values for each critical component before and after preventive maintenance remains the same, but the value of downtime on each component decreases. The total values of availability for each critical component exceeds 95%

Research purposes is plotting the maximum profit and optimum production quantities with minimal use of resources. Processing data using the program LINDO (Linear Interactive Discrete Optimizer). Evaluasi Efektivitas Mesin Kiln dengan Penerapan Total Productive Maintenance pada Pabrik II/III PT Semen Padang
PT Semen Padang is a company that produces cement and it can not be separated from issues related to the effectiveness of the machinery/ equipment caused by factors such as six big losses. It can be indicated from the frequency of damage caused to machinery/ equipment because of the damage so that production targets are not achieved. Another result of damage caused by machinery/ equipment is the quality of products where the products are not meet the quality standards. Therefore, it is necessary to measure effective and efficient in the maintenance of machinery/equipment int term of solving such problems. TPM is a method which developed in Japan that can be applied to improve the productivity and efficiency of production. The applied method is one of useful methods to mantain machinery/equipment utilization including, losses that called by the six big losses. One goal of TPM is to increase the effectiveness to improve function and performance of machinery/ equipment used and reduce the six big losses contained in the machine/ equipment. Study has been conductedin W1 and W2 Kiln engine on Indarung Factory II / III PT Semen Padang. The first stage is measuring the effectiveness of W1 and W2 Kiln machine using OEE method. Furthermore, we are y measure OEE Six Big Losses and another losses that lead to the low efficiency of the Kiln machine. The data has been collected based on year 2013. Result showed that the value of OEE in W1 kiln ranged from 49% to 96%. While the value of OEE in W2 kiln ranged from 60% to 98% . It is related to the level of availability W1 kiln (average 92%) were also quite low when it is compared to the level of availability W2 kiln (average 94%) due to the length of time the kiln W1 engine damage. Refer to the value of the performance rate W1 and W2 kiln, it can be concluded that the average value of both engine performance rate is almost the same, ranging between 91% and 92%. Analysis of OEE Six Big Lossesshowed that cause of low OEE on kiln machine is breakdown loss. It also affected the reduced speed loss
