Pengembangan Model Kualitas Pelayanan Jasa Pendidikan Sekolah Karakter di Jakarta
This study aims to investigate the correlation of service quality to customer satisfaction, loyalty, and deployment of communication using Word of Mouth (WOM). The research was conducted at Character-based School in Jakarta, involving 84 parents as respondents. A purposive sampling method was applied. The data were collected through a survey questionnaire. The measurement was using a four-scale Likert. The analysis was supported by SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) which the tool was SmartPLS version 3.0. As results show that there were three significant relationships which between customer loyalty and Word of Mouth (0.691), service quality and customer satisfaction (0.298), also service quality and customer loyalty (0.340). It depicted that loyal customer was more significant than satisfying one. The conclusion of this study pointed out that loyalty played role in improving and maintaining a robust marketing strategy for Character-Based School. Leadership Support and Employee Creativity: A Meta-Analysis
Leaders who have transformational, empowerment, and other positive characteristics positively affect the performance of employee creativity. This study aimed to confirm and clarify the influence of leadership on employee creativity through meta-analysis method. Thirty-two titles of articles with 33 studies used in the analysis, yielding correlation values that support the hypothesis (0.27). In a geographical perspective, there is no difference between the west and the east. This can be seen from the comparable correlation value of each 0.268 and 0.274. However, in a sectoral perspective, manufacturing firms have a more prominent correlation (0.322) than service firms or mixed (0.238 and 0.235). Different motivation factors need to be considered as the link between personal and contextual factors. Therefore, further research should be done to examine the role of different motivations in linking the leadership support on employee creativity
Model Zero-One Linear Programming untuk Penjadwalan Raw Mill dan Cement Mill
The scheduling of electrical energy usage during Peak Load Period (PLP) is a complicated problem that has been faced by PT Semen Padang after Indonesian Power Company (PLN) implemented the demarcation regulation of electrical energy usage during PLP (6:00 – 10:00 p.m.) which may not exceed 44.100 kWH. This regulation forces Production Department of PT Semen Padang to arrange the “on (1) or off (0)” schedule for the Raw Mills and Cement Mills during PLP. A Raw Mill or Cement Mill can be switched-off if the specified criteria are satisfied. Those criteria refer to the achievement of daily production targets, silo content at PLP, and the requirement for particular Raw Mill or Cement Mill to be off during those 4 hours of PLP. Meanwhile, the constraints are related to the length of machining hours of Raw Mill, Kiln or Cement Mill before preventive maintenance takes place. To solve this problem, a scheduling model for Raw Mills and Cement Mills on-off during PLP is then developed using a linear programming approach. The decision variables are the “on-off” state of Raw Mills and Cement Mills during PLP, while the objective function is to minimize the penalty expense of energy used during PLP. The developed scheduling model has the ability to solve the problem of the “on-off” assignment for Raw Mills and Cement Mills from Indarung II to Indarung V. This scheduling model can decrease the penalty of electrical energy expense during PLP from Rp. 3.07 billion to Rp. 1.79 billion
Analisis Performansi Mesin Pre-Turning dengan Metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness pada PT APCB
PT APCB is an electronics company that produces electronic device components called Narrow Shaft. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the maintenance activity in a pre-turning machine by measuring the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) level. The OEE level is obtained based on the Availability, Performance, and Quality Rate of the pre-turning machine maintenance activities. In addition, the purpose of this study is to identify the causes of the ineffectiveness of pre-turning machine maintenance activities and provide improvement suggestions for maintenance effectiveness at PT APCB. Based on the results of the calculation of the OEE value it is known that the PT APCB company still has not reached the world standard of 85%. This shows that the company still has to improve maintenance activities in the pre-turning process. The calculation of OEE value shows that the lowest OEE level in February 2016 was 48.31%, while the highest OEE level in September 2016 was 83.23%. The low performance of the pre-turning machine process was due to the ineffectiveness of maintenance activities which were caused by 14 factors. The primary causal factor with the highest value is the bar feeder problem with the highest request frequency value of 250
Pengaruh Kualitas Pelayanan Kefarmasian terhadap Kepuasan Pasien Rawat Inap RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang
Pharmaceutical services at the hospital are an integral part of the hospital's service system. The quality of the pharmacy service affects the hospital's performance as a service company. Pharmacy Installation of Dr. M. Djamil Padang Hospital based on data from Public Relation and Public Complaint Installation of Dr. M. Djamil Padang Hospital get complaint report on pharmacy service as many as 28 complaint reports in 2015 and 42 complaint reports in 2016. A decrease in the quality of care is indicated by the decrease in the number of in-patients in the period of 2013-2015 reaching an average of 2.89%, while the level of complaints on the quality of in-patient pharmacy service remains high with 31 complaints by years. This study aims to analyze the effect of hospital pharmacy service quality on patient satisfaction at pharmacy depo Dr. M. Djamil Padang Hospital. The measurements of all constructs and research indicators used questionnaires distributed to 320 in-patients as respondents. Path analysis used with software application of SPSS 17 to analyze the data. The result concluded that service quality consisting of service speed, attitude, and empathy of officer, drug availability, pharmacy depot location, and drug information simultaneously, influence on patient's satisfaction with a contribution of 74.10%. However, the partial attitude and empathy of the officers have no effect on the satisfaction of patients. Perumusan Strategi Penguasaan Industri Maritim Untuk Memperkuat Pertahanan Negara
Natural resources and the strategic position of Indonesia in a cross position shipping lanes of the world contributed to having a great economic potential but also gives a serious impact threat. For that, it is needed a strong national defense in order to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Indonesia. The overall defense system, involving the entire nation must be nurtured as directed. The national industry as one of the supporting components in the country's defense system should be controlled by domestic industry management, including the national industry in the sector of maritime transport means. Government's attention that supports the growth of maritime transport means is a great opportunity to boost the national economy as well as the preparations for war situations. Amid the possibilities and constraints, this study investigated the strategy for the control of the maritime industry to strengthen the country's defense. Mixed method research descriptive qualitative and quantitative SWOT analysis was used to investigate it. The study found that the strategy for the control of the maritime industry is to carry out the construction of port facilities, the construction of a fleet of ships made in the country, the formation of qualified human resources, to improve its management, ensure the availability of the main spare parts and improve shipbuilding capability, to optimize the benefits of sabotage principle to resolve banking policy which is still not very profitable to the industries
Penerapan Quality Function Deployment (QFD) pada Pengembangan Produk Sabun di UKM Kota Batam
Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) Simo was established since 2002 and produces various hygiene products such as detergent soap, bath soap, softener and others. Currently, Simo has a mainstay product in the form of bath soap for the hotel. However, these products still cannot dominate the Batam market. Sales of bath soap are declining. The decline is due to soap products that are made not in accordance with customer expectations. This study looks for product specifications that meet customer expectations. The method used is quality function deployment (QFD). The purpose of this study is to design a quality soap product in accordance with customer expectations. The customer voices are grouped in such a way as to get an overview of customer expectations. The process of grouping is done by using exploratory factor analysis method. Through exploratory factor analysis, the company can get customer expectations that may not be explored through the questionnaire. Through this general overview, customer expectations are detailed up to the tertiary stage. The priority of customer expectations is determined based on the questionnaire data so that the allocation of resources can be done appropriately. Details of these expectations are related to the technical characteristics. Through the technical characteristics, the company is able to make products according to the customer expectations
Pengaruh Shift Kerja, Terapi Musik, dan Motivasi terhadap Beban Kerja Karyawan PT. TOA-GALVA Industries
TOA Corporation has a factory in Indonesia with name PT TOA Galva Industries producing technology of communication device. This research aims to make improvement towards the workload of the employees in the production of injection plastic part. Problems that arise due to the mental workload of employees affect concentration, performance, achievements, and motivation at work, quality of sleep at home, health, and work accident. This caused by the target measurement and checking of the products of the company are set, the deadline the measurement and checking of products, Division of working time/shift work, irregular work environment factors (noise, temperature, lighting, etc.), and the personal problems brought on when working. Using NASA-TLX (Task Load Index) can be measured the mental workload employees through the phase weighting and rating stage. Early research result obtained values of WWL (weighted workload) of morning shift employees is 76,78, afternoon shift 77,97 and night shift 80,0 results experienced high mental workload. Proposed improvements were made with improved shift work, the application of music therapy and motivation. The evaluation result of the implementation of the improvement suggests the value of WWL (weighted workload) of morning shift employee is 53,34, afternoon shift 54,43, night shift 55,45 result decrease mental workload
Perancangan Sistem Informasi Pengendalian Kualitas pada Laboratorium Proses IV PT X
Effectiveness and efficiency can improve the performance of manufacturing companies. Such improvements can be achieved through the application of web-based applications. PT X is one of cement producers in Indonesia and to maintain its competitive advantage, PT X establishes several Process Laboratory responsible for its product quality control activities. One of them is Process Laboratory IV. Process Laboratory IV is still using spreadsheet based information system so that most of the activities and evaluation are still run manually. Some weaknesses are still encountered such as slow information flow rates, minimum levels of information security, and the potential for various forms of fraud. This research was conducted to design more efficient quality control information system through implementation of web based application. The information systems design created by building: (a) Business process diagrams (b) Use case diagrams, (c) Class diagrams, (d) Entity relationship diagrams, and (e) Databases, followed by web-based application design based on the results of information system design. The system design involves four actors with different authority and access levels to minimize information security issues. Through these conditions various forms of fraud can also be minimized. In addition, the system design also improves the information flow efficiency by eliminating the activity of re-input set point data. It can be concluded that the design of information systems with web-based applications have been able to help improve efficiency and minimize the weaknesses of current existing information systems in the PT X Process Laboratory IV
Penentuan Rute Kendaraan Heterogen Menggunakan Algoritma Insertion Heuristic
Distribution process at PT XYZ is identical to one of the variants of Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) which there are several vehicles with different capacities and operation cost, called as Heterogeneous Fleet Vehicle Routing Problem (HFVRP). There are two kinds of vehicle that have been used, namely, vehicle As and vehicle Bs. Vehicle As has the higher operation cost than vehicle Bs. Currently, the company implements policies where vehicle Bs is used if all vehicle As have been used. This policy may lead the distribution cost is so expensive and its equal with the operation cost of vehicle As that also high. Routing aims to combine the use of available vehicles to generate minimal distribution costs in servicing the customers. This research uses mathematical model according to the description of the distribution system in the company. The model is verified and tested using the optimization software. Then the constraints of the verifiable mathematical model are used as the basis for developing Insertion Heuristic (IH) algorithm. Comparison of model solutions with developed algorithm solutions showed a difference of 11.6%. This implies that the algorithm generated solution is quite good as one of the heuristic approaches that result in optimal local solutions. Implementation of IH algorithm provides cost savings of 5.97% towards the actual distribution system in the company
