The Role of Social-Community Networks in Realizing Inclusive Education in Sekolah Alam
Inclusive education requires the active involvement of all social elements in creating a learning environment that adapts to the needs of all students, including children with special needs (ABK). Sekolah Alam, as an alternative education model based on nature and contextual learning, provides a strategic space for building strong social-community networks. This study aims to analyze the role of social-community networks involving parents, the community, and school administrators in supporting inclusive education practices within the Sekolah Alam environment. The research employed a qualitative method with a multi-case study design, conducted in two locations: Sekolah Alam Indonesia and Sekolah Alam Lampung. Data were collected through observation, unstructured interviews, and focus group discussions (FGDs) with school and community stakeholders. The results of this study show a shared understanding among parents, the community, and schools regarding the importance of collaboration in supporting inclusive education in Sekolah Alam. Parental participation is evident in providing facilities, engaging in academic activities, aligning educational visions, and offering financial support. The collaboration patterns in each school reflect contextual approaches based on regional characteristics: Sekolah Alam Indonesia focuses on fostering independence among children with special needs and strengthening moral values, while Sekolah Alam Lampung emphasizes developing children’s talents through an ecology-based approach. These findings enrich academic discourse on the synergy between alternative and inclusive education, while also providing empirical foundations for policymakers to strengthen the role of community networks in promoting an equitable and adaptive education system that meets the diverse needs of all learners
The Synergy of School and Parent: A Strategy to Improve the Quality of Educational Services
This study aims to evaluate the level of parental satisfaction with the educational services at SDIT Kartika Buana and to formulate strategies for improving service quality through a synergistic approach between the school and parents. The research employed a quantitative descriptive method using the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) approach. The sample consisted of 50 respondents randomly selected from a population of 319 students. The research instrument was a Likert-scale questionnaire developed based on the five dimensions of service quality as defined by Kotler and Armstrong, as well as Zeithaml and Bitner, namely: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The findings indicate an average satisfaction level of 3.93 and an expectation level of 4.20, resulting in a conformity level of 95%. The Cartesian analysis revealed that the quality of the learning program, teacher competence, and the alignment between cost and educational quality are key priorities for improvement. Meanwhile, teacher behavior and the Tahfidz (Qur’an memorization) program fall under the category of aspects that should be maintained. This study highlights that synergy between the school and parents is a critical strategy in maintaining and enhancing the quality of educational services, particularly within integrated Islamic elementary education institutions
The Influence of Al-Ghazali's Sufistic Thought on Pesantren Education Practices in Indonesia
Pesantren education in Indonesia faces challenges in integrating the development of spiritual, moral, and academic competence of santri in a balanced manner. Al-Ghazzali's Sufistic thought is considered relevant to strengthen pesantren education practices because it emphasises purification of the soul (tazkiyatun nafs), moral development (tarbiyatul akhlaq), and systematic dhikr practices. The research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytic type to obtain an in-depth understanding of the implementation of Sufistic values in the context of pesantren education. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with kyai, ustaz, and santri; participatory observation of learning and worship activities; and documentation of curriculum and teaching records. Data analysis was conducted through reduction, presentation, and triangulation to ensure the validity and consistency of the findings. The results show that the application of the tazkiyatun nafs principle encourages santri to conduct self-reflection, routine dhikr, and spiritual evaluation so as to increase self-awareness, discipline, and emotional control. The principle of tarbiyatul akhlaq through moral mentoring and social activities strengthens the character, empathy, and social responsibility of santri. The integration of al-Ghazzali's Sufistic values in the curriculum and daily activities creates a balance between intellectual and spiritual aspects, forming students who are spiritually mature, noble, and able to interact harmoniously in society. In conclusion, al-Ghazzali's Sufistic thought plays a significant role in improving the quality of pesantren education holistically. Future research is recommended to compare pesantren that apply Sufistic principles with those that do not, as well as examining the application of Sufistic

The position of the LAZISMU Service Office is the same as the Zakat Collection Unit (UPZ) which has an important role in managing ZISWAF funds. This LAZISMU Service Office is in direct contact with the Amil Zakat to the mustahiq. Currently the number of LAZISMU Service Offices formed by LAZISMU Jember Region is 11 (eleven) Service Offices spread across the Branch. Referring to Law Number 23 of 2011 concerning Management of Zakat Article 1 paragraph 9, the functions and duties of the LAZISMU Service Office are to collect, distribute and utilize zakat. However, in practice several LAZISMU Jember Service Offices have not run optimally in managing these zakat funds. The influencing factors are; First, the lack of human resources in the LAZISMU Service Office. Second, the lack of public awareness to pay zakat through Amil Zakat Institutions. Third, there is still a lack of knowledge of the Service Office administrators regarding the management of zakat. Fourth, the lack of guidance from LAZISMU Jember Region to the Service Office administrators. So that this greatly influences the role and contribution of the LAZISMU Service Office to the raising of ZISWAF funds at LAZISMU Jember Region. Suggestions given by this study is the need of intensive guidance for zakat managers in the Service Office by LAZISMU Jember Region. It is hoped that with the guidance for Service Office administrators they can improve their ability to manage and ZISWAF, so as to be able to optimize the potential of existing zakat, especially in Jember Regenc
