Get PDFThe purpose of writing this article is to describe the effect of the Example Non Examples learning model on student learning outcomes on the basic competency of office layout in class X OTKP SMK Pawiyatan Surabaya. The research sample of Class X OTKP 3 (experimental class) with Example Non Example method and Class X OTKP 2 (control class) is subject to conventional learning models, with the number of students in each class of 30 students. This type of research is a literature study. The results showed that the office spatial learning materials have used learning models that prioritize group learning activities to study the material. Examples of learning are not examples that can make students become more understanding of the material being studied than students who successfully analyze the images presented. In addition, non-example model examples can make students find themselves understanding the results of the analysis conducted, make the classroom learning process in which students become active participants rather than passive observers, and are responsible for their learning. based on the research that has been done, the suggestion that can be conveyed is to use the Cooperative learning model Project Based Learning type is expected to provide one of the variations of learning models on the basic competencies of office layout.

Get PDFThis development research aims to describe the process of developing textbooks, analyze the feasibility of textbooks, and analyze students' responses to guided inquiry based textbooks on Automation and Public Relations and Protocol class XII OTKP odd semester. The development model used is a 4-D model that consists of four stages, namely defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. This research was conducted at SMKN 10 Surabaya. The subject of this research was class XII OTKP 3 consisting of 20 students as a limited trial. The validation results from experts showed that the feasibility of the material was 95%, the feasibility of the language was 88%, and the feasibility of the graphic was 82%. So that the overall average value of 88% with the interpretation criteria is very feasible. While the results of limited trials to determine student responses to textbooks developed by 96% with very interesting interpretation criteria. Thus, guided inquiry based textbooks on Automation and Public Relations and Protocol class XII OTKP in the odd semester were declared to be suitable as teaching materials

Previously Co-working Space was known as SOHO (Small Ofiice Home Office) a place for freelancers if they were bored working at home. The same thing is also felt by the people of Surabaya, which have increasingly established the establishment of Co-working Space from the private sector. The emergence of problems that became the basis of the Surabaya Citu Government established the Co-working Space Corridor because startup founders, freelancers, and creators who could not continue renting tp private companies. This study aims to describe the application of service excellence as an effort to improve the quality of public relations services of the Surabaya City Government. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach, the subjects in this study were the Head of Information Services Sub-Section, Information Service Section Staff, and Corridor employees. And the object of his research is the application of service excellence as an effort to improve the quality of public relations in the city government. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, adn documentation. Data analysys techniques used consist of data reduction, data presentation anad drawing conclusions with data validity techniques using source triangulation. The result showes that the application of the concept of service excellence in the corridor carried out by the Public Relations has been running well and maximally and in accordance with the objective of the Surabaya City government by taking into account the values of the Co-working Space: 1) community; 2) accessibility; 3) collaboration; 4) communication; 5) openness; and 6) creativity

Get PDFAbstractThis study purpose to analyze the effect of the Problem Based Learning teaching model on critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes and describe the implementation of Problem Based Learning basic competencies applying the maintenance procedures of the Xth Grade OTKP archive in the Vocational High School 2 Tuban. This type of experimental research with the Quasi Experiment approach. The population used in all class X OTKP in SMK Negeri 2 Tuban, the sample used two classes including class X OTKP 2, which was a total experiment of 36 students, along with class X OTKP 4, which was a total control of 36 students. Data analysis techniques used homogeneity testing, normality testing, as well as t-test and gain score with SPSS aided 22. The results showed that: 1) The Problem Based Learning teaching model had a significant effect on increasing the critical thinking skills of Grade X OTKP students in SMK Negeri 2 Tuban; 2) The Problem Based Learning teaching model has a significant effect on improving student learning outcomes in class X OTKP at SMK Negeri 2 Tuban; 3) Implementation of the Problem Based Learning teaching model is carried out in accordance with the teaching tools in the form of a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP).Keywords : Critical thinking skill; Learning outcomes; Problem based learnin

Get PDFAbstractThis study aims to find out in depth about the work system of public relations and public relations strategies to improve the positive image of administrative services in the office of the head of Watudandang village, Prambon sub-district, Nganjuk district. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive research type and uses the case study methode. The sample in this study was the village head, secretary or public relations office of Watudandang village chief to determine the sample of researchers using purposive sampling techniques. Researchers collected data with in-depth interviews with public relations and the public who were using administrative services at the Watudandang village heads office. Watudandang village head as a triangulation of resources about the public relations work system and public relations strategy to enhance the positive image of administrative services. The analysis results obtained by researches that the work system implemented by the Watudandang village heads public relations office is structurally forming the village apparaturs and forming the cultural task of the village apparaturs called the pamong blok. Depth of the strategy that is used by the public relations of strategic is strategy that do public relations office of the village Watudandang the management of strategic. The strategy currently carried out by the Watudandang village heads public relations office is to approach the community by socualizing in very government program for the village. This causes the informations obtained by the community to be uneven, so researches provide advice to the Watudandang village heads public relations office to develop a service communications network to community by utilizing village website. Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Papan Dan Kartu Misteri (PAKARMIS) Berbasis Quiz Team Pada Mata Pelajaran Korespondensi di SMK Adhikawacana Surabaya
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to determine the results of the development of quiz team-based board and mystery learning media (PAKARMIS) on correspondence subjects at Vocational School Adhikawacana Surabaya, the feasibility of board and card learning media mystery (PAKARMIS) based on quiz teams on correspondence subjects at SMK Adhikawacana Surabaya, and students' responses to the quiz team-based board and mystery learning media (PAKARMIS) on correspondence subjects at SMK Adhikawacana Surabaya. This type of research is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The trial subjects were 20th grade OTKP 3 students of Vocational School Adhikawacana Surabaya, totaling 20 people chosen randomly. Data collection instruments used in this study were expert validation sheets and student questionnaire responses. The results showed that the media developed were included in the feasible category by obtaining a percentage of ratings from material experts at 89% and media experts at 88%, all of which were included in very strong interpretations. While the results of student responses to the learning media developed obtained a percentage of 87% with a very strong interpretation. The results of the trial show that students are more interested in conducting learning activities using quiz team-based board and mystery learning cards (PAKARMIS) compared to using only blackboards and markers. Students are more active and enthusiastic in learning to use these learning media. So it can be concluded the results of this development research are said to be very feasible to be used as learning media

Get PDFAbstractThis study aims to describe the application of an electronic archive and archival management system (SIMASKEREN) in the Blitar City Regional Library and Archive Service, and to determine the effectiveness of the electronic archive and archival management system (SIMASKEREN) on the rediscovery of archives in the Blitar City Regional Library and Archives Service. The type of research used is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The subjects of the research were employees at the Blitar City Regional Library and Archives Service who had worked for more than three years. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation, while data analysis techniques include data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. From the results of the accuracy calculation done by researchers at the Blitar City Library and Archives Service, the Accuracy Number (AK) results are 0.4% where AK is recommended ranging from 0.5% to 3%, from these results it can be concluded that the SIMASKEREN in the office has not been effective against the rediscovery of archives in the Blitar City Library and Archives Service.Keywords: Rediscovery of Archives Service; Simaskeren; Qualitative Approac

This research is a development uses R&D (the research and development) research with 4-D model consisting of 4 stages, namely defining, designing, development and distributing. this research was conducted at 20 learners in class X OTKP 1 at in SMK Negeri 1 Jombang, the results of the validation of the LKPDoverall score of 86%. The validation from material expersts score is 85%. The validation score of the linguist is 80 % and the validation of the graphic expert is 94% with very strong interpretation. So it can be conluded that the development students research scientific approach based sheets on general Administration subject even semester at SMK Negeri 1 Jombang is declared fit to be used as teaching materials

Get PDFThe purpose of this study is to analyze the feasibility of Student Activity Sheets (LKPD), describe the process of developing LKPD, and we can find out the responses of students in the Office Management Automation expertise program developed by LKPD. R&D with the 4D development model is the method used in research. And the limitations of this research are only at the development stage. A total of 20 students of class XI OTKP 3 SMK YPM 3 Taman became the subject of his research. The LKPD validation sheet includes the validation sheet for linguists, graphic experts, and material experts as well as students' response sheets obtained using research instruments. The stages of defining, designing, and developing are the research processes carried out at the stages that are in accordance with the 4D development model. Because the purpose of the research is only to develop and produce Student Activity Sheet (LKPD) products, the distribution phase is not carried out. The average results of the overall validation of experts on the feasibility of LKPD was 78.59% which included a component of language worthiness with a score of 72.86%, graphic worth 81.3%, and material eligibility 81.6%. By obtaining a score of 91.83% in the analysis of student responses with very good criteria, the developed LKPD can be used to support the learning process of PR and Protocol subjects very well as teaching material

Get PDFThis study aims to describe the application of the Project-Based Learning model and analyze the Project-Based Learning model to the learning outcomes of the X-Grade OTKP subjects in SMKN 2 Tuban. This type of research is experimental research using quasi-experimental. The population in this study were class X OTKP 1, class X OTKP 2, class X OTKP 3, and class X OTKP 4 as many as 144 students, while the sample in this study was class X OTKP 1 and class X OTKP 2 as many as 72 students each each number of students 36. The research instrument consisted of tests conducted with 20 items. Data analysis techniques include: 1) item analysis in accordance with the validity test, reliability test, difficulty level test, and distinguishing power test; 2) normality test; 3) homogeneity test, and 4) hypothesis testing. The results showed that the results of the test analysis showed Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted with a significance level of 0.00 which was less than 0.05. From this it can be seen that there is an effect of the Project Based Learning model on learning outcomes subject Record Management for class X student OTKP SMKN 2 Tuban
