TANTANGAN PENGEMBANGAN E-LEARNING KAMPUS MERDEKA BELAJAR
With the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Curriculum in 2020, the opportunities for online learning, particularly through the utilization of e-learning, have significantly expanded. How prepared are universities to realize this MBKM initiative, and what challenges do they face? This research aims to construct the development of e-learning to accelerate the Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka (MB-KM) Program at IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo and UHAMKA Jakarta. This descriptive research employs a mixed-methods approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). Data is analyzed using reduction, display, and conclusion techniques. The research findings indicate that the implementation of MBKM at universities, whether face-to-face or online, can be achieved through student exchanges within the same or different universities, entrepreneurial activities, and thematic community service/fieldwork activities. The design of e-learning development to accelerate the implementation of MBKM can be initiated through: (a) ensuring the accessibility and stability of internet, electricity, telephone, and other infrastructure networks, (b) selecting reliable and modern hardware and software, (c) establishing a strong IT management institution with adequate operational funding, and (d) preparing professional human resources with a high work ethic. LIFE SKILL TRAINING MANAGEMENT IN AN EFFORT TO EMPOWER STUDENTS AT ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOLS
This research is motivated by the importance of life skill training management in an effort to empower students in Islamic boarding schools to be able to live independently and contribute to society. The purpose of this study is to find out how life skill training management is carried out at Al-Falah Gorontalo Islamic Boarding School, including the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, as well as data analysis of the Miles and Huberman models. The results of the study show that training planning has not been well documented, even though the implementation of activities is quite effective, especially in sewing and tataboga training supported by professional instructors. However, the evaluation stage is not optimal because there is no systematic assessment instrument. The impact of this research emphasizes the importance of strengthening life skills training management so that pesantren can produce students who are qualified, independent, and ready to face global challenge
THE INCULCATION MODEL OF REGION MODERATION VALUES IN ISLAMIC SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL (MADRASAH ALIYAH)
The challenge in promoting religion moderation values is going to be very complex in this recent era, due to many violences happened in schools in the form of verbal, psychological, or physical. However, madrasah (Islamic school) as an educational institution which always struggle to minimalize the deviant behaviors as the result of the lack of tolerance, equality, diversity, and the others. Therefore, this study aimed to reveal the strategy of the inculcation of religion moderation values in private Islamic senior high schools (private madrasah aliyah) in Gorontalo. Furthermore, the qualitative research method was used to study the strategies implemented by five private Islamic senior high schools in Gorontalo in inculcating various moderation values. This study aimed to show that the model of the inculcation of religion moderation values consisted of some models namely introduction model, habituation model, exemplary model, and the inculcation of the values in the school environment. Even there was a similarity in the inculcation of those values, the school (madrasah) also had the differences supported by some backgrounds such as environment, school organization, facility, human resource, activity, and the others. Therefore, this study concluded that the strategy implemented referring to the structural model. However, the differences of the structural model reflected to the different culture or rules which indicated that the strategy of the inculcation of religion moderation values used the structural model based on the local culture of the madrasah
INOVASI PROGRAM EKSTRAKURIKULER OLEH KEPALA SEKOLAH UNTUK MEMBANGUN KECAKAPAN ABAD 21 PADA SISWA
This study aims to research the innovation of extracurricular programs carried out by school principals to build 21st-century skills in students at SMP Negeri 2 Limboto. Extracurricular program innovation It is considered a strategy to develop the skills required by students in the 21st-century era, such as creativity, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. This study uses a qualitative approach by analyzing the innovation of extracurricular programs implemented by the principal of SMP Negeri 2 Limboto. The study results show that extracurricular program innovations carried out by school principals have a significant role in building 21st-century skills in students. Various innovatively designed extracurricular programs can help students develop critical, creative, communicative, and collaborative skills. In addition, the innovation also provides a space for students to explore their interests and talents outside of the formal curriculum. However, it was found that there were several obstacles related to the program\u27s implementation, namely budget limitations, inadequate facilities, and lack of special training for teachers. These constraints hinder the effectiveness and sustainability of extracurricular programs designed to meet the needs of 21st-century skills. The implication of the results of this study is the need for further support for school principals in developing and implementing extracurricular program innovations relevant to the demands of 21st-century proficiency needs.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti inovasi program ekstrakurikuler yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah sebagai upaya pembangunan kecakapan abad 21 pada siswa Di SMP Negeri 2 Limboto. Inovasi program ekstrakurikuler dianggap sebagai strategi untuk mengembangkan keterampilan yang diperlukan oleh siswa di era abad 21, seperti keterampilan kreativitas, kolaborasi, komunikasi, dan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus untuk menggali secara mendalam peran inovatif kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan program ekstrakurikuler yang mendukung kecakapan abad 21 pada siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Limboto. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi program ekstrakurikuler yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam membangun kecakapan abad 21 pada siswa. Berbagai program ekstrakurikuler yang dirancang dengan inovatif mampu membantu siswa mengembangkan keterampilan kritis, kreatif, komunikatif, dan kolaboratif. Selain itu, inovasi tersebut juga memberikan ruang bagi siswa untuk mengeksplorasi minat dan bakat mereka di luar kurikulum formal. Namun ditemukan bahwa ada beberapa kendala terkait implementasi program tersebut yakni keterbatasan anggaran, fasilitas yang memadai, dan kurangnya pelatihan khusus untuk guru. Kendala ini menghambat efektivitas dan keberlanjutan program ekstrakurikuler yang dirancang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan keterampilan abad 21. Adapun Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah perlunya dukungan lebih lanjut terhadap kepala sekolah dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan inovasi program ekstrakurikuler yang relevan dengan tuntutan kebutuhan kecakapan abad 21
PROGRESIVITAS ILMU PENGETAHUAN DAN TEKNOLOGI DALAM PENGEMBANGAN KARAKTER PADA PESERTA DIDIK
This research aims to analyze research articles on the progressivity of the application of science and technology to the development of students\u27 character This research is a literature study using the Narrative Literature Review method. Data sources come from reputable international journals contained in the Scopus database, accessed through scopus.com, using keywords that have been determined from the initial study, namely Science and Technology and character. The research period covered the last 4 years (2019-2023) and the scope in the country of Indonesia, where 4 articles were obtained that fit the research objectives. From the analysis of the journal articles, some important information was found, including the author\u27s contribution, diagnostic methods used, and content relevant to the research topic on the relationship between Science and Technology and character. The results found are (1) Using ICT-based Learning Media in introducing and teaching about the character of environmental care to students (2) Using LCD media and learning resources from the internet for problem solving of moral and social situations represented visually in the form of animated sketches. SINERGI ANTARA MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN DAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI SPIRITUAL SISWA DI SMP MA’ARIF 01 KOTA PASURUAN
Education not only plays a role in building academic intelligence, but also in shaping students\u27 morality and spirituality. This research explores the synergy between school management and Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in improving students\u27 spiritual competence. Using a qualitative case study approach, this research asks the question: how does collaboration between school management and PAI teachers contribute to the formation of students\u27 spirituality? Data was obtained through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation at a school that implemented an integrated religious program. The research results show that school management support that is in line with the example of PAI teachers creates an environment that supports students\u27 spiritual development. This synergy not only enriches students\u27 understanding of religion, but also builds moral values in their daily lives. This research has a significant impact in developing an educational model that prioritizes spirituality, relevant for schools that want to strengthen students\u27 spiritual competence through a collaborative and sustainable approach.Pendidikan tidak hanya berperan dalam membangun kecerdasan akademik, tetapi juga dalam membentuk moralitas dan spiritualitas siswa. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi sinergi antara manajemen sekolah dan Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam meningkatkan kompetensi spiritual siswa. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus, penelitian ini mengajukan pertanyaan: bagaimana kolaborasi manajemen sekolah dan guru PAI berkontribusi dalam pembentukan spiritualitas siswa? Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi di sebuah sekolah yang menerapkan program keagamaan terintegrasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan manajemen sekolah yang selaras dengan keteladanan guru PAI menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung perkembangan spiritual siswa. Sinergi ini tidak hanya memperkaya pemahaman agama siswa, tetapi juga membangun nilai moral dalam keseharian mereka. INTEGRATION OF PEGON ARABIC ORTHOGRAPHIC LEARNING IN GORONTALO\u27S LOCAL WISDOM-BASED CURRICULUM: A NEEDS ANALYSIS
The Orthography of Arab Pegon in Gorontalo is very important to study, but it has not yet been integrated into the curriculum based on local cultural wisdom. This research aims to answer three questions: (1) How is the analysis of students\u27 needs related to difficulties in learning Arab Pegon Orthography in the context of local wisdom? (2) How is the evaluation of educational institutions\u27 readiness to implement Arab Pegon Orthography in a curriculum based on local wisdom? (3) What are the strategic recommendations for integrating Arab Pegon Orthography into the curriculum of educational institutions in Gorontalo? The research method uses a mixed approach, with data collected through surveys, interviews, and observations. The sample consists of 50 students, 20 teachers, and 5 managers of pesantren in Gorontalo. The results of the study show that the evaluation data on the difficulties of teaching Arab Pegon Orthography in Gorontalo are not normally distributed, necessitating non-parametric statistical methods through the Kruskal-Wallis test, which indicates no significant differences among the indicators of Fluency, Pronunciation, Writing, and Comprehension, suggesting that the performance among groups is relatively similar. The Mann-Whitney U Test comparison shows that Hubulo excels if there are significant differences. The evaluation of institutional readiness shows that 60% have adequate infrastructure, while 40% need improvement and 60% of institutions have competent teachers. Strategic recommendations include (1) curriculum integration with local wisdom, (2) regular training for teachers, (3) partnerships with higher education institutions, and (4) the use of technology in learning, aimed at addressing challenges and enhancing students\u27 love for reading, writing, and understanding the Orthography of Arab Pegon in Gorontalo
KEPEMIMPINAN PENDIDIKAN K.H. SYAM’UN DAN K.H. MAS ABDURRACHMAN
Kepemimpinan Pendidikan Menurut Brigjen KH Syam\u27un dan KH Mas Abdurrachman membahas tentang konsep dan praktik kepemimpinan pendidikan yang dianut oleh dua tokoh ulama, pejuang, dan pendidik asal Banten, yaitu Brigjen KH Syam\u27un dan KH Mas Abdurrachman. Artikel ini menggunakan metode studi biografi dan analisis untuk menggali informasi dari berbagai sumber primer dan sekunder yang berkaitan dengan kedua tokoh tersebut. Artikel ini menemukan bahwa kepemimpinan pendidikan menurut Brigjen KH Syam\u27un dan KH Mas Abdurrachman memiliki tiga ciri utama, yaitu: (1) kemampuan untuk memberikan pengaruh, arahan, perintah, motivasi, dan lingkungan kondusif terhadap anggota-anggota lembaga di lembaga pendidikan; (2) kemampuan untuk mereformasi sistem pendidikan pesantren dengan mengintegrasikan ilmu agama dan ilmu umum atau ilmu sosial; dan (3) kemampuan untuk mengembangkan jaringan kerjasama antara lembaga pendidikan dengan lembaga-lembaga lain yang relevan

dan solusi yang diberikan dari kondisi tersebut di MTs se-Kota Gorontalo selama masa pandemic Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian survei dengan teknik Cross Sectional Survey, dengan jumlah populasi yakni 3250 peserta didik dengan rumus sample slovin didapatkan sampel responden sebanyak 356 peserta didik yang tersebar secara proporsional di 9 Madrasah Tsanawiyah di Kota Gorontalo. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner terlebih dahulu dilakukan validasi oleh ahli. Teknik analisis data digunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan melihat presentase dari setiap pilihan opsi jawaban dari 42 item kuesioner. Analisis deskriptif kualitatif digunakan untuk menjelaskan hasil temuan kuantitatif serta hasil temuan solusi dari permaslahan learning loss. Hasil Penelitian yaitu telah terjadi gejala learning loss peserta didik di MTs se-kota Gorontalo akibat dari system pembelajaran selama masa pandemic covid-19, diantaranya adalah kurangnya waktu belajar efektif bagi peserta didik, kurangnya intensitas interaksi guru dan peserta didik, terjadi penurunan konsentrasi belajar, terjadi kesulitan pemahaman terhadap pelajaran, kurangnya dukungan madrasah terhadap sumber belajar peserta didik, pembelajaran daring sangat banyak kekurangan, kurangnya pemerolehan pelajaran tambahan di luar pembelajaran madrasah, turunnya pemahaman pembelajaran terhadap semua pmata pelajaran, kurangnya bantuan/pendampingan serta motivasi belajar dari orangtua. Adapun rekomendasi solusi yang bisa diberikan adalah mulai dari pemerintah, madrasah, guru sampai kepada orangtua harus bersinergi mengembalikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta didik yang hilang selama masa pandemic covid-1
EVALUATION OF TEACHER PERFORMANCE FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION MANAGEMENT
This research aims to analyze the teacher performance evaluation system in the context of Islamic education management. Evaluation of teacher performance is an important component in improving the quality of Islamic education. This research examines how the Islamic perspective views teacher performance evaluation and its implementation in Islamic educational institutions. The research method used in this research is a literature review, the data of which is obtained from various relevant literature. The research results show that: First, the concept of teacher performance evaluation in Islam is based on the principles of al-ilah (justice), trust, and continuity which originate from the Al-Quran and Hadith. Second, teacher performance evaluation indicators not only cover professional aspects (pedagogical, social, personality and professional) but also spiritual aspects which include understanding and implementing Islamic values in learning. Third, the implementation of teacher performance evaluation in Islamic education institutions shows an integrative pattern between national competency standards and Islamic values. This research concludes that teacher performance evaluation from an Islamic education management perspective is a comprehensive system that combines aspects of professionalism with Islamic spiritual values, which aims not only to improve the quality of learning but also to build the Islamic character of students
