    ENHANCING VOCATIONAL STUDENTS’ WORK READINESS THROUGH CURRICULUM MANAGEMENT AT SMK RADEN UMAR SAID KUDUS

    This study aims to describe the implementation of curriculum management to improve students’ work readiness at SMK Raden Umar Said Kudus. The main problem addressed is the high unemployment rate among vocational school graduates who are not yet fully work-ready. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of curriculum management encompasses planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation stages. The school actively aligns its curriculum with industry needs through Project-Based Learning, Teaching Factory models, and partnerships with the Business and Industrial World (DUDI). The curriculum is designed thematically, integratively, and responsively to technological developments and the demands of the creative industry. Regular evaluations are conducted by both the school and industrial partners to ensure the achievement of student competencies. The conclusion of this study is that adaptive and industry-based curriculum management significantly enhances students’ work readiness and bridges the gap between education and employment sectors.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi manajemen kurikulum dalam meningkatkan kesiapan kerja siswa di SMK Raden Umar Said Kudus. Permasalahan utama yang diangkat adalah tingginya tingkat pengangguran lulusan SMK yang belum sepenuhnya siap kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi manajemen kurikulum dilakukan secara menyeluruh meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Sekolah secara aktif menyelaraskan kurikulum dengan kebutuhan industri melalui pendekatan berbasis proyek (Project-Based Learning), Teaching Factory, dan kemitraan dengan Dunia Usaha dan Dunia Industri (DUDI). Kurikulum disusun secara tematik, integratif, dan responsif terhadap perkembangan teknologi dan kebutuhan industri kreatif. Evaluasi dilakukan secara berkala baik oleh pihak sekolah maupun mitra industri untuk memastikan ketercapaian kompetensi siswa. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa manajemen kurikulum yang adaptif dan berbasis industri mampu meningkatkan kesiapan kerja siswa secara signifikan serta menjembatani kesenjangan antara dunia pendidikan dan dunia kerja

    This study aims to examine the Qur’anic perspective on work ethics, focusing on three core values: amanah (trust and responsibility), istiqāmah (consistency), and ikhlāṣ (sincerity). Using a thematic exegesis (tafsīr maudhu‘ī) approach combined with a comprehensive literature review, this research identifies Qur’anic verses related to work (‘amal) and contextualizes them within contemporary discussions on the Islamic Work Ethic (IWE). The findings reveal that, in Islam, work is regarded as an integral form of worship that must be carried out with honesty, consistency, and moral integrity. The value of amanah plays a central role in fostering trust and loyalty within organizations, while istiqāmah ensures the sustainability of ethical conduct, and ikhlāṣ instills a transcendental motivation that elevates professional dedication beyond material goals. Furthermore, the study demonstrates that the application of Qur’anic values in professional and educational settings can enhance productivity, job satisfaction, and the development of an ethical and healthy organizational culture. Overall, the study concludes that the Qur’anic work ethic remains profoundly relevant in addressing the professional and moral challenges of the contemporary global era

    EFEKTIFITAS VIDEO PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF MENGGUNAKAN APLIKASI EDPUZZLE PADA MATA PELAJARAN PAI KELAS 7

    Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh fenomena yang terjadi pada saat ini yaitu kurangnya variasi guru dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran, terutama pada mata pelajaran PAI, sehingga perlu inovasi baru dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan video pembelajaran interaktif berbasis aplikasi Edpuzzle terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) kelas VII di SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen. Jenis eksperimen yang digunakan adalah quasi-experiment dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelompok, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji independent sample t-test dan N-Gain Score untuk melihat perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar antara kedua kelompok. Hasil uji independent sample t-test menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,019 < 0,05, yang berarti H₀ ditolak dan Hₐ diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan video interaktif Edpuzzle dengan yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Selanjutnya, hasil analisis N-Gain Score menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen memperoleh skor 0,61141, sedangkan kelas kontrol memperoleh skor 0,48997. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan video pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Edpuzzle terbukti lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata Pelajaran PAI kelas 7 di SM

    EVALUASI PENGELOLAAN DANA KIP KULIAH: PERAN INSPEKTORAT JENDERAL DALAM MEWUJUDKAN AKUNTABILITAS DI PENDIDIKAN ISLAM

    Program Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah (KIP-K) bertujuan untuk meningkatkan akses dan pemerataan kesempatan pendidikan tinggi bagi masyarakat Indonesia, khususnya bagi mereka yang berasal dari keluarga kurang mampu. Upaya pencegahan korupsi dan peningkatan akuntabilitas serta transparansi menjadi fokus utama dalam pengelolaan dana KIP Kuliah. Kerjasama antara perguruan tinggi, Kementerian Pendidikan, dan Kementerian Keuangan juga diidentifikasi sebagai kunci keberhasilan program. Tantangan yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan program ini meliputi perbedaan sistem informasi dan keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, yang memerlukan upaya harmonisasi dan peningkatan kapasitas. Dengan data yang akurat dan sistem pengawasan yang efektif, diharapkan KIP Kuliah dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen, penelitian ini dilaksanakan secara objektif dan professional judgement penulis dengan menggunakan data penggunaan KIP-K tahun anggaran 2023. Sampel penelitian dilakukan terhadap 20 Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Negeri (PTKN) yang diambil secara acak (random). Penelitian mengungkap Ketersediaan Anggaran, jumlah Penerima KIP Kuliah, alokasikan kuota khusus untuk mahasiswa yang berasal dari daerah 3T, hasil penelitian pada 5 (lima) unit eselon satu Kemenag, manfaat Dana KIP-K, Dampak KIP Kuliah terhadap peningkatan prestasi penerima bantuan, permasalahan pada pelaksanaan program KIP-K, keberhasilan dari program KIP-K, penelitian kenaikan IPK penerima dan survei Kepuasan Program

    MANAJEMEN SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA BERBASIS KOMPETISI DI SMA AL MUTTAQIN KOTA TASIKMALAYA

    The development of Islamic educational institutions is currently quite rapid and has become a favorite choice for the community. This is inseparable from the success of managing human resources (HR). This study aims to examine competition-based HR management at Al Muttaqin High School in Tasikmalaya City, an educational institution that is superior in terms of achievement compared to other schools. The focus of the study includes basic concepts, strategies, implementation, benefits, objectives, and challenges in HR management, using best practices at the institution as a case study. Douglas McGregor\u27s theory is the basis for this study. This study uses a qualitative method with in-depth interviews and observations of the academic community at Al Muttaqin High School. The research findings identify several basic concepts of competition-based HR management, including (1) Quality education, which includes teaching, curriculum innovation, organization, learning culture, educational technology, diversity, and leadership. (2) Strategy and implementation, such as learning vision, learning culture, learning investment, and achieving vision targets. (3) Benefits and objectives, including increasing individual motivation, team collaboration, innovation, operational efficiency, and parent and student satisfaction. (4) Best practices at the institution include (a) Performance assessment. (b) Project-based assessment. (c) Innovation competition. (4) Student feedback. The implications of this research show that this approach is able to increase work enthusiasm and encourage HR progress at Al Muttaqin High School, Tasikmalaya City.Perkembangan lembaga pendidikan Islam saat ini cukup pesat dan menjadi pilihan favorit masyarakat. Hal ini tidak terlepas dari keberhasilan mengelola sumber daya manusia (SDM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengelolaan SDM berbasis kompetisi di SMA Al Muttaqin Kota Tasikmalaya, sebuah lembaga pendidikan yang secara prestasi unggul dibandingkan dengan sekolah lain. Fokus kajian mencakup konsep dasar, strategi, implementasi, manfaat, tujuan, serta tantangan dalam pengelolaan SDM, menggunakan praktik terbaik di lembaga tersebut sebagai studi kasus. Teori Douglas McGregor menjadi landasan penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam dan observasi kepada civitas akademik di SMA Al Muttaqin. Temuan penelitian mengidentifikasi beberapa konsep dasar manajemen SDM berbasis kompetisi, meliputi (1) Pendidikan berkualitas, yang mencakup pengajaran, inovasi kurikulum, organisasi, budaya belajar, teknologi pendidikan, keberagaman, dan kepemimpinan. (2) Strategi dan implementasi, seperti visi belajar, budaya belajar, investasi belajar, serta pencapaian target visi. (3) Manfaat dan tujuan, termasuk peningkatan motivasi individu, kolaborasi tim, inovasi, efisiensi operasional, serta kepuasan orang tua dan siswa. (4) Praktik terbaik di lembaga tersebut mencakup (a) Penilaian kinerja. (b) Penilaian berbasis proyek. (c) Kompetisi inovasi. (4) Umpan balik siswa. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ini mampu meningkatkan semangat kerja dan mendorong kemajuan SDM di SMA Al Muttaqin Kota Tasikmalaya

    PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERDIFERENSIASI BERBASIS KOMUNITAS BELAJAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PADA MAPEL BAHASA INDONESIA SISWA KELAS 3 SEKOLAH DASAR KECAMATAN DUMBO RAYA

    This research aims to develop differentiated teaching modules based on learning communities to improve student learning outcomes. The research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model which includes five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The approach used is a mix-method, which is a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results of the study show that the teaching modules developed have gone through a validation process by material and media experts with "very feasible" results. The implementation of the module in the experimental classroom for four weeks showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes compared to the control class. The involvement of the learning community (teachers, students, and parents) in the process of developing and implementing the modules also plays an important role in creating a collaborative learning environment, responsive to student needs, and encouraging active involvement in learning. Thus, community-based differentiated teaching modules are effectively implemented as a solution to accommodate student diversity in learning and can improve the quality of education as a whole.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul ajar berdiferensiasi berbasis komunitas belajar guna meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi lima tahap: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah mix-method, yakni gabungan antara pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar yang dikembangkan telah melalui proses validasi oleh ahli materi dan media dengan hasil “sangat layak”. Implementasi modul di kelas eksperimen selama empat minggu menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Keterlibatan komunitas belajar (guru, siswa, dan orang tua) dalam proses pengembangan dan pelaksanaan modul turut berperan penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kolaboratif, responsif terhadap kebutuhan siswa, dan mendorong keterlibatan aktif dalam pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, modul ajar berdiferensiasi berbasis komunitas belajar efektif diterapkan sebagai solusi untuk mengakomodasi keragaman siswa dalam pembelajaran dan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara menyeluruh

    VALUE-BASED STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT: INTEGRATING ISLAMIC ETHICS IN EDUCATIONAL STRATEGIC PLANNING

    This research aims to examine the integration of Islamic ethics in value-based strategic management as a holistic approach in educational strategic planning. The main problem raised is the lack of application of Islamic values in education management, which has an impact on the less than optimal achievement of Islamic education goals. This research uses the literature study method by analysing relevant literature, theories and concepts. The results show that the integration of Islamic values, such as trustworthiness, justice, ihsan and deliberation, provides an effective framework to improve efficiency, accountability and sustainability in education management. This approach not only addresses the challenges of modernization, but also maintains the spiritual identity of Islamic educational institutions. The findings are expected to serve as a practical guide for educational institutions, researchers, and policy makers in managing value-based education.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji integrasi etika Islam dalam manajemen strategik berbasis nilai sebagai pendekatan holistik dalam perencanaan strategis pendidikan. Masalah utama yang diangkat adalah kurangnya penerapan nilai-nilai Islam dalam manajemen pendidikan, yang berdampak pada kurang optimalnya pencapaian tujuan pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan menganalisis literatur, teori, dan konsep yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai Islam, seperti amanah, keadilan, ihsan, dan musyawarah, memberikan kerangka kerja yang efektif untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, akuntabilitas, dan keberlanjutan dalam pengelolaan pendidikan. Pendekatan ini tidak hanya menjawab tantangan modernisasi, tetapi juga mempertahankan identitas spiritual lembaga pendidikan Islam.     ISLAMIC EDUCATION AS A PILLAR OF REHABILITATION: A STUDY OF CHILD INMATE DEVELOPMENT AT LPKA CLASS II MAMUJU

    This research is motivated by the importance of Islamic education in fostering child inmates at the Mamuju Class II Special Children\u27s Development Institution (LPKA). Sentenced children still have the right to education, including spiritual and moral guidance that can shape their character for the better. In this context, Islamic education plays a strategic approach in fostering the fostered children\u27s beliefs, worship, and morals. This study aims to describe the form of coaching of faith, worship, and morals in LPKA Class II Mamuju and identify the inhibiting and supporting factors that affect the sustainability of coaching. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with field research. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman models. The study results show that coaching is carried out through activities such as learning the pillars of faith, congregational prayers, dhikr, religious lectures, BTQ, tahfidzul Qur\u27an, habituating manners, and responsibility. The main obstacles faced include limited human resources, facilities, budget, and the psychological condition of children. However, collaboration with external institutions and children\u27s motivation are significant supporting factors. In conclusion, coaching at LPKA Mamuju makes a real contribution to shaping the character of child inmates through Islamic education. This research makes a theoretical and practical contribution to developing a more humanist and integrated coaching model in the future.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pendidikan Islam dalam proses pembinaan narapidana anak di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) Kelas II Mamuju. Anak-anak yang menjalani hukuman tetap memiliki hak atas pendidikan, termasuk pembinaan spiritual dan moral yang mampu membentuk karakter mereka ke arah yang lebih baik. Dalam konteks ini, pendidikan Islam berperan sebagai pendekatan strategis dalam membina aqidah, ibadah, dan akhlak anak binaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk pembinaan aqidah, ibadah, dan akhlak di LPKA Kelas II Mamuju serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penghambat dan pendukung yang memengaruhi keberlangsungan pembinaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembinaan dilakukan melalui kegiatan seperti pembelajaran rukun iman, shalat berjamaah, dzikir, ceramah agama, BTQ, tahfidzul Qur’an, serta pembiasaan sikap sopan santun dan tanggung jawab. Hambatan utama yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan SDM, fasilitas, anggaran, dan kondisi psikologis anak. Namun, kolaborasi dengan lembaga eksternal dan motivasi anak menjadi faktor pendukung yang signifikan. Kesimpulannya, pembinaan di LPKA Mamuju memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam membentuk karakter narapidana anak melalui pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis dan praktis dalam pengembangan model pembinaan yang lebih humanis dan terintegrasi di masa depan

    PRELIMINARY STUDY: COLLABORATION SKILLS IN SCIENCE LESSONS FOR GRADE IV PRIMARY SCHOOL LEARNERS

    Collaboration skills as part of the urgency of learning in the 21st century have a crucial position for elementary school students. The discourse on increasing research in the field of education is not in line with the lack of research that discusses students\u27 collaboration skills to participate in groups comprehensively. This study aims to fill this gap by exploring the initial condition of collaboration skills of 126 grade IV students in three elementary schools in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta in depth. The researcher detailed the results of the case study analysis on students\u27 collaboration skills in elementary school. One hundred and twenty-six grade IV students in three elementary schools in Sleman district were selected for observation. Semi-structured observations, semi-structured interviews, and several documents are present as instruments to collect data on initial conditions related to students\u27 collaboration skills. The results show the need to develop students\u27 collaboration skills through learning media innovations that are oriented to the characteristics of diverse student learning styles. This study has implications for the importance of improving students\u27 collaboration skills in science learning in the curriculum through learning media innovations that are tailored to the needs of students\u27 learning styles and can provide independent learning guidelines for students in preparing themselves to face the demands of 21st century skills

    IMPLEMENTATION OF INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP WITH TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT: BRIDGE NODES IN EDUCATIONAL COMMUNICATION NETWORKS

    The era of global educational transformation demands integration of instructional leadership with Total Quality Management (TQM). The research gap lies in the limited qualitative studies exploring critical bridge nodes as leverage points for organizational transformation. This study aims to explore the implementation of instructional leadership integrated with TQM through the identification of bridge nodes in Indonesian educational organizational communication networks. The research uses a qualitative approach with a single case study design in a senior high school. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with eight informants using purposive sampling. Analysis used ATLAS.ti with a qualitative network analysis approach to identify bridge nodes and communication network patterns. The research identified three main findings: universal consensus (100%) on the effectiveness of principal feedback; significant conceptual divergence (57.1%) in educational quality definitions reflecting organizational maturity; and three critical bridge nodes, namely open communication culture, constructive feedback, and holistic quality, as vital coordination mechanisms. TQM principles can be effectively applied in the Indonesian educational context through responsive adaptation to local cultural characteristics. The identified bridge nodes become strategic leverage points for sustainable organizational transformation
